The office where the people are rude. Jamie the manager called my daughter-in-law an offensive name and Zoey yelled at me on the phone. Jamie has made threats. After my stroke and still being off work, I called to inquire about assistance to maintain my car payments, but they refused. I strive to pay on time, yet they come knocking before the due date.
The office environment is unpleasant due to the discourteous staff. Jamie, the manager, insulted my daughter-in-law with harsh language, and Zoey raised her voice at me during a phone conversation. Jamie has also made intimidating remarks. Since suffering a stroke some time ago, I have been unable to work. I reached out to inquire if any assistance was available to maintain my car payments, but the response was negative. Despite my efforts to pay on time, they persistently show up at my doorstep even before the payment is due.
Never Buy a Car From Them...The harassing phone calls and text after being 1 day late after having paid 2 years on time for the car.
If I could give this company a 0 star I would. I have bought several used cars and didnt have nearly the issues I did with this one, 5 months in I have put over *** dollars in it, while struggling make my weekly payments. If you want a lemon go ahead and go here but I suggest you run as far way as possible!

Also , that Doesnt give your employees the right to be downright disrespectful and rude when it comes to collecting payments. Also having your corporate employees send threatening texts/ over the phone is not good customer service. You can actively communicate with your customer about the things that are expected in a business/customer relationship without threats. They definitely prey on people who have crappy credit, that are trying to fix it /need a vehicle in order to work. Do your research, dont get into a contract and or give them business. They overprice the vehicles , that are lemons and dont trust that they have these vehicles checked out beforehand. Make sure you get yours checked out by a reputable mechanic.
Their customer service socks
Their customer service socks. Won't even replace a non working key fob for my vehicle that I am buying through them. 9 months and still can't get them to replace passenger side window trim that flew off first night we drove it on I 69. Would not recommend this business to anyone. Hopefully I can refinance my loan with another company and tell Superior Auto to kiss my backside.

If I could put ZERO stars i would. I have had NOTHING but issues with this company since day one in March. I have less than 6 months to pay of my car. Have put thousands of dollars in to it. When I first got it I had to replace the transmission, wheel barring's and axels. Recently I had to replace the catalytic converter. I had also recently applied to change my payment date due to getting a different job. Today I was informed I needed to make my payment but I do not get paid until next week. The employee that took my papers to get my payment date changed quit working and now Im losing my car due to the employee quitting. This place is beyond horrible. *** There has been multiple employees in and out. So because an employee quit I am losing my car and it is going on my credit report as bad credit. This place will screw up over any which way they can.

I would not be able to make my payment on Tuesday the 23rd of May but could pay it May 25th.I thought by speaking someone I would be ok..Nope ...I went out to get in my car to go to work on Wednesday the 24th..*** has come and taken my car! I take care of elderly! I was expected to be in a client's home..So my client is now in distress because I can't get there. I want to say that was the 3rd car I have bought from them! My husband signed an auto agreement in 2018 for a 2012 or 2013 Impala. The car was repossessed due to a late payment in 2018. Local law states that creditors of repossessed vehicles must inform their customers about the resale of the vehicle, the financial details of what is still owed, etc. Superior Auto never contacted my husband about the vehicle and four years later they are garnishing his wages for $10K. We believe Superior resold the vehicle and the debt on the vehicle cannot be anywhere close to $10K. Superior Auto's actions are unreasonable. I understand that the difference between the sale of the vehicle and what was owed should be paid. However, 10K is excessive. My husband is in poor health and was unemployed for 14 months Dec 2020-February 2022. He was laid off from work for 6 months in 2020. Now he finally is employed again and Superior Auto is garnishing his wages (25%).

I have never had such rude service I have had 3 rewrites on my car 2 of which were over $2000. And the last one made my payment go up weekly which I was not told would happen. I have *** left on my car orginally *** and 3 rewrites. My employment changed and I get paid biweekly I was told by corporate once I made that week's payment they could work with me on bi weekly so I called ahead and spoke to place I got car they said let me talk to so so and see what we can do . Never heard back call today I'm told nope payment or park the car here till next week. Now I'm not one to say alot but I think considering my account alone and amount I have paid I could get a little bit more help I even offered them to hang on to my direct deposit card the paystub. Even half and rest when I get paid next week. After being told they would work with me providing I spoke someone prior to due date . Awful service or corporation of company. Treat everyone like they are going to run off with a car they can shut down. Considering all money I have paid so far on what could classify a lemon I could get a little bit help one week. I mean 155 isn't easy to borrow with prices way they are I mean that's alot for a week let alone borrow.

Marion / Mansfield stores
The Marion store said if they don’t like you they will make your life hell. The Mansfield store never listens. They took my car because a payment got sent back. Not a big deal right? $25 fee for send back and then $300 for the payment. They refuse to give me my car back after they trust passed and they won’t explain how sac says $708 but I can make a plan, and Mansfield says $989 for a $126.00 payment and a $25 now I’m magically behind. Not only that but Mansfield gave Marion all my information without asking me and they too my car from Marion to Mansfield.
Desired outcome: I want the car today. With the payments set up to pay on.

Worst service ever! Robbing people! I would appreciate a call because it's too much to type here. Judging from the reviews, they don't care about their behavior. I have tried for a month to get my account together. They won't return calls, or answer. They refuse payment and then pick up my car. My credit reflects a repossession and I am still paying on the car as on 1/16. When I disputed they refused my payment and picked up the car. This is ridiculous. I have 7 family members positive with covid and they continued to harass but wouldn't answer for me. I was under quarantine and could not come in.
So I didn't make 1 payment and my back window fell out with my grandson in the back seat I didn't work for 3 weeks. I had covid. I was told to contact them if I did and they would help. So not true. I have been having alot of electronic problems
On May 10th of 2021, I purchased a 2007 HHR from Superior Auto. I am paying over $10,000 for this car. I am aware that it is sold as is. I have had it inspected and also had the front end fixed. The mechanic inspected it and did not note any other issues besides tie rod ends and ball joints. The same mechanic picked it up and fixed the tie rod ends and the ball joints but then informed me of a major oil leak that was not present during the initial inspection. Now my car is not running, and Superior Auto refuses to do anything about it. This car was a lemon when I bought it, and I feel they were aware of that. I was told by the manager that if I brought it back to her, she would not assist me and still refuses to do anything about it. I am now paying for a car that doesn't run, and I need it for work. I don't know what to do next. I had to tow it home when it stopped working. Please help me; this company is committing fraud, and they are aware of it. I have a Carfax report as well as a bumper-to-bumper report. They both indicate 6 recalls on this vehicle, and only one issue that was fixed. I just want a reliable car and for them to trade this one in for another at the very least.

When I contacted the dealership, the representative dismissed my concerns, stating it was my issue to resolve. On April 21st, I reached out again and a different employee acknowledged the previous miscommunication, offering to assist with repair costs through a repayable loan. It's been less than a month since the purchase, and problems arose within the first four days.

I purchased a vehicle with SAC and the first vehicle they put me in overheated 2 miles down the road so I came back in and chose another vehicle that was above my budget but was the cheapest they had. I had to spend $500 to have the hun assembly replaced over the winter and now my car has sat for over a month because it flashes throttle body sensors will not allow the engine to rev over 2000 RPM and hesitates to go so another words won’t drive. I did speak to customer service in which they told me to get an estimate and based on the amount they would try to get the repair amount added to the end of my existing loan if I’m approved. My credit is by far not the greatest so tacking on another couple thousand will just increase my loan up to 20+ thousand. What are my options? I don’t wanna a repo on my record but I’m tired of paying on junk.

I bought a car from superior auto in Kokomo Indiana. I was told the vehicle went through a 39 point inspection and had no issues. Now they have taken the vehicle even though my payments are caught up. The vehicle has several several issues. Needs new tranny, axles, suspension system, leaks fixed and an alignment. This vehicle was obviously not inspected by a mechanic as I was told it was. Now they want to charge me for the repairs. It was demolished a year ago The guy didn't have insurance and i was stuck with $9000 left on this car because MY insurance said the car lot sold the car for $9000 more than *** blue book. In order to get another car the car lot added $9000 to the new car loan. My last insurance was safe auto. I received information from my insurance company that the car lot used them to get payment from the guy that hit me. Why are my payments still over $300 every 2 weeks. My replacement car from them the heads blew year to date and has been in the shop for over a month which i have paid every week. I had to take a loan out at sac to pay for the heads. They are still charging for a car i dont have! They keep stopping work on the car..I HAVENT MISSED a payment. Help!

I have had my vehicle since March. In that time the vehicle has broken down 4 times. No big deal except I pay $358 a month for a 2009 Kia Rio. The customer service at Superior Auto in Lancaster is AWFUL. I have been berated, I have been called out of my name (luckily those offenders no longer work there) but I have put in numerous complaints. My access to online payments has been revoked because of a few bounced payments almost a year ago. The gave me access back and then took it away for no reason and will not allow me to make my payments online. They are an hour away so every two weeks I have to drive an hour to go make a car payment. Usually not a problem BUT the car has broken down again. I call to see what can be done and John gets very nasty with me and says "Well we are just gonna come get the car" I never once said I do not have the money, I simply said that I do not have a way to get there because the car is not working and my girlfriend's car (purchased from there also) is sitting in a repair shop with $1200 of work needing to be done ( by the way this is the 3rd time her car has broken down). They refused to give me my referral credit when I referred someone to purchase a car and it has been nothing but headache since the beginning. I was told by John a few months ago to make a payment arrangement and they would not repossess my vehicle, I made the arrangement and the day before it was due, they repossessed my vehicle. Then about a month ago Aaron told me to make payments of $160 instead of $178 while covid is happening (After filling out the hardship form months ago 8 times and was told they never received it) and I did that twice and was called by John saying that I am past due and that the arrangement was not valid. Arrangements are made often by people who are then off work or fired when it comes to settle up. I have been harassed, berated and belittled by almost EVERYONE working in the Lancaster location and every week there is a new rude and arrogant employee. John ended our conversation with "The car not working has nothing to do with me, Are we done?" and proceeded to tell me someone will be here Saturday to repossess my car I asked him if someone can come get an inoperable car then how can someone not come get the payment? I have been treated so poorly and I don't want to continue business with this company at all but alas I have a contract so there is no way around it.

Superior Auto financed me for a vehicle less than 3 months ago. When I drove the vehicle off the lot, the tire lights were on. I notified the seller, she told me to bring it back if the problem persisted. Less than two weeks later, my wife brought the vehicle back because the tire lights were still on, and the engine was having problems. The seller told my wife to take the vehicle to a garage and get an estimate and to also provide reveipts for maintenance purchased to get the vehicle in drivable shape. The seller has yet to follow back up with any of this and is avoiding my correspondence. The vehicle is still having engine problems. Selling vehicles that are barely drivable and then claiming its acceptable As is to a point. Theres also the lemon law. And this establishment sold us a lemon and we are being told we are financially responsible?

I bought a Used car 10/8. 10/16 It had a knock in the engine& over heated. I had toad to dealership's service garage. I called *** to tt mechanic. Was told it needed a whole new motor the previous owner had put the oil pan in wrong. The dealership had not looked at the car before they sold it to me to catch the oil pan being in wrong.Mechanic sent the estimate for the engine was$5254 to dealership who sent it to corporate. 48 hrs I got a response, saying the estimate was too high for a engine should only be around $3,000. Corporate denied it. If they if they found a cheaper motor around $3,000 they would pay for it. if it was over that amount then they would only pay $3,000 for a replacement motor. The mechanic adjusted the labor charges on the estimate.& sent that to corporate. He has not found a new motor yet. I am tired of waiting & Getting the run around. I am without a car.

I have been with SAC finance for over 2 years now. When I originally took up business with them, my due date was Thursdays. At some point over a year ago, before COVID, the employer changed everyone's Paydays to Fridays. Myself, along with other employees reached out to SAC making them aware of what happened and someone on their end agreed to change my due date to Fridays. For about a month now, I have been receiving phone calls from SAC "reminding" me my due date is Thursday. I reached out the company to remind them that someone on their end changed it to Fridays, and now all of a sudden the new employees working there are telling me no it's not. So I spoke with the store manager, and she told me that I signed a contract with the date as Thursday. I asked why for over the last year and a half have I been paying on Fridays then. She became irritated and told me that if I do not start paying Thursdays that my vehicle will be put up for immediate repossession come Friday morning.

I sent all the receipts not only to the local store but also to corporate. They act like I control the bank and their time frame and like I have control over the post office.. I do not have control over either, what I can control is the fact I have receipts and the bank wont issue a bank check without the funds on hand. called and text numerous times was ignored and still havent heard from corporate. Want my car back!

My spouse and i bought a *** equinox 2014 from them back in 2021 of sept around the first week of the month. It was used never been in a wreck or had servere damages to it. We put a 1000$ down for it and pay 128 a weekly on it. There ended up being a recall on it. They told us that we could trade it in in 6 months and changed it to 3 years. And that if anything happend to it they could fix it for us or refiance us a new car which didnt happen. So in jan it broke down cost over 1000$ for the transferbox. So it set broke down for over 2 months before it got fixed cause they refused to help us do anything. Ever since we had it weve had nothing but trouble with it still till this day it runs but we prob put over a couple grands into it out of pocket now. And we still had to make payments every week on it the whole time it was broke down they was alway on time we never been late on one payment. We want to trade it in for something more reliable for us cause he has to work and im disabled cant walk our only transportation we have. Vehicle bought from Superior Auto in Nov 2021 for $200 down faced issues and poor service.
We purchased a vehicle from Superior Auto in an undisclosed location in November for $200 down. Payments were to be $600 per month. When we returned at the end of December with vehicle issues and inquired about repairs, they insisted on the January payment. Since then, they've kept the vehicle due to our slight payment delay. We seek to sever ties with this company due to their dishonesty. Both my spouse and I are disabled, and the delay was caused by an urgent medication purchase after a loss. They've declined any payment plan and won't provide the second key until full payment. Their conduct is unprofessional; a manager even yelled at me over the payment issue. My husband, recently out of surgery and undergoing liver treatment, was appalled by the verbal mistreatment. They retained the car, leaving us without transport. We had to wait in their lot for my mother to arrive from Madisonville. His health is fragile, and the staff knew this, yet they showed no compassion.

So many issues with this business and their cars they sell. Specifically the superior auto in ***, IN. Since the very first day of getting the car, I had issues with the tires. Also the car would jerk to the right and then when it shifted to the next gear it would jerk to the left which later was found out to be the lower control arm or something like that(not good with vehicles). A week and 6 days later of having the car it broke down on my way to work. I was stuck at a gas station because the car was over heating and water was pouring all over the ground(later found out at the shop is was the water pump). I had to pay out of pocket for the towing fee. My car went to 2 different shops and it took 3 weeks for me to get my car back all while still having to pay for this car. Yes, they were nice enough to get my car fixed, but tacked that money onto the money that I originally owed and made my price of the car go up. Under the car is rusted out. They didnt let me look nor test drive the car before purchasing it. When they came and repode my car, they didnt notify me that they were taking my car. When I found out they were taking my car, I needed to get my wallet with everything in it out and the lady(Abigail) said no and my fiance hit the window and the lady(Abigail) pulled away pretty fast while the guy(assuming the detail mechanic at sac) behind her(which is part of SAC in Rensselaer as well) almost ran my fiance over. We hurried inside to get my fiance's mother's keys and took off to follow them to get my things out at SAC. office in ***. We were going 75 in a 55mph zone and 55 in a 45/35mph zone behind the guy that almost hit my fiance while the lady in MY CAR was going faster as she was pulling ahead of the guy (from sac) we were behind. NOT TO MENTION that the lady from corporate office (***) texted me and threatened me. If that is how you are going to do customers cars and treat your customers, then you shouldn't even have this business open.

They are very unkind
They are very unkind. I ask not to have reminder calls 5 -6 times. There policy is once you tell them they are to notate that and not call. It took them 2 months to do that. Also I have never been late on payment I had been with them almost a year. Shane had stated when I initially got the car last March wait 6 months and then you can go month to month. I was trying to cinvey I was headed to the boulevard to take the paystubs but I needed to go back home And get mt phone. In the mist of me rushing out the door to get to them to get this squared away so I can make it to work on time U left the maon thing I needed. Finally she allows me to speak. At this point I have a little time to make it and clock in. And I told her I will resend it. We went over the email addres she was still being rude in speech. Very abusive in her speech.She said she would call me Friday to see if Shane got the paystub. Friday came no call from anyone. They had 2 number they could reach me on And they didn't call either one. The reason she was to call was because I tried to call Shane several times from another line while speaking to her. I told her they weren't answering. She said well it probably due to the weather. In hopkinsville there were clear skies. It funny they can follow up with reminder calls but in this case they couldn't follow up not once. They will call And call even after I have ask not to be called for reminder call. But in following up in a matter as this in my opinion everyone involved dropped the ball. Saturday Therese came banging on my door early in the morning. Asking for a payment. You guessed it No. And Most of them were the rudest bunch of professionals(understatement) I have ever done business with. There is so much more to this. I just wouldn't recommended them to anyone. I was bullied! Kids are taught not to do this but it seems to be ok for Adults! On Thursday the 19th of May, I called the car dealership to give them a heads up that my husband and I have COVID, strep, and the flu and we had not worked for 3 weeks. I would not be able to make my payment on Tuesday the 23rd of May but could pay it on May 25th. I thought by speaking to someone I would be ok. Nope... I went out to get in my car to go to work on Wednesday the 24th. The dealership has come and taken my car! I take care of the elderly! I was expected to be in a client's home. So my client is now in distress because I can't get there. I want to say that was the third car I have bought from them! I only owed $275! I'll never go there again. No one would like to be bullied and taken out of character. You might want to take your business elsewhere!
I have never had such rude service. I have had three rewrites on my car, two of which were over $2000. And the last one made my payment increase weekly, which I was not informed would happen. I have an outstanding balance on my car, originally a certain amount, and now with three rewrites. My employment situation changed, and I now get paid biweekly. I was assured by corporate that once I made that week's payment, they could accommodate my new pay schedule. So, I proactively called the dealership where I purchased the car, and they told me they would discuss it and see what could be done. I never received a callback. When I called today, I was bluntly told to either make the payment or park the car there until next week.
I'm not one to complain, but given the amount I have paid on my account, I expected a bit more assistance. I even offered to let them hold onto my direct deposit card and the paystub, proposing to pay half now and the rest when I get paid next week. This was after being assured they would cooperate with me if I contacted someone before the due date. The service and the corporation's approach are appalling. They treat every customer as if they're going to abscond with a car that can be remotely disabled. Considering all the money I have already paid on what seems to be a defective vehicle, I believe I deserve a bit of leniency for one week. Borrowing $155 is not trivial, especially with the current high prices; it's a significant amount for a week, let alone to borrow.
Their customer service socks. Won't even replace a non working key fob for my vehicle that I am buying through them. 9 months and still can't get them to replace passenger side window trim that flew off first night we drove it on I 69. Would not recommend this business to anyone. Hopefully I can refinance my loan with another company and tell Superior Auto to kiss my backside.
My husband signed an auto agreement in 2018 for a 2012 or 2013 model Impala in our state. The car was repossessed due to a late payment in 2018. State law requires that creditors of repossessed vehicles must inform their customers about the resale of the vehicle, including the financial details of what is still owed, among other things. Despite this, Superior Auto never reached out to my husband regarding the vehicle, and four years later, they are garnishing his wages for $10,000. We believe that Superior resold the vehicle and the remaining debt on the vehicle should not be anywhere near $10,000. The actions of Superior Auto are unreasonable. I can comprehend that the difference between the sale price of the vehicle and the outstanding balance should be settled. However, demanding $10,000 is excessive. My husband's health is deteriorating, and he was unemployed for 14 months from December to February 2022. He also faced a layoff from work for 6 months in 2020. Now that he has finally found employment again, Superior Auto has begun to garnish his wages at a rate of 25 percent.
