Don't buy anything from them if you don't want to risk your money. Once you have an issue, or prepared to be on your own. Because they have no customer service. Yes, some people work for this department, but I think that most of them are absolutely useless and clueless.
I got no help from them and waiting for 3 months to get my money back. How do you like to be treated this way?
poor customer service

I attempted to sell my phone on the site but they closed my listing because the phone had a 3mm, yes 3mm, "chip" on the corner of the glass. It did not effect the performance, waterproofness, and appearance of the phone in anyway. It is fully functional but they would still not let me list my phone. It is in much better condition than many other phones available to be listed. But because they decided the mark was a "chip" and not a scratch or a crack the device had no eligibility for sale and there was no negotiation, regardless of the actual condition of the device.
I will never use this site again
I wish I never tried them. Blaming myself for experimenting. It was a huge mistake and I'm heading to Amazon for sure.
I kept getting endless requests from them, they always wanted more, never were satisfied. Don't remember when something in the world irritated me as strong as their actions and refusals. So many obstacles for me to use them. Oh god, no wonder they have so many bad reviews. Do they think they are a governmental organization or what?
Don't make same mistakes. Go to amazon or ebay or elsewhere, stay away from these capricious scammers!
Received phone with damaged screen
Swappa does not stand behind products which are sold on their site! I bought a phone from their site and it was said in the description that it was in a perfect condition, but in reality things were a lot different. Screen was damaged, there were many scratches!
I contacted Swappa and they didn't even reply, they clearly showed that they did not care and were not interested in helping me.
Seller refused to refund me and insisted that there was nothing wrong with the phone. When I provided pictures he said that either picture was fake, or it was I who caused these damages. What a joke! Never buy from this site, sellers here do whatever they want and Swappa simply does not care!
Bad condition
Swappa is not strict about the condition of the items that are listed. They don't pay any attention to what people are selling. I bought a mobile phone thinking it was new. But the phone I received was obviously used for months! The seller used photoshop to hide all the scratches and defects. There are honest sellers there that post pictures where you can clearly see signs of use, but I bought my phone from a dishonest seller. Trust me the condition of my phone was worse than described. There is no enforced return policy by Swappa. So I contacted PayPal and opened a dispute. Stay away!
Waste of time.
I went to Swappa website and ordered a phone. I paid for the phone via Paypal and a few minutes later was told that the phone was out of stock. Great! That moment I smelled a scam. They told a refund would be issued. I saw that the refund was being processed so I decided to pick another phone. So, they returned my money and I finally bought a phone. But when it arrived it was damaged! Screen was smashed into pieces! I spend half a day back and forth with Swappa and the original owner insisting everything was perfect. Now I am having to fight with them to get my money back. I don't know what to expect or how it will end, but I'm not giving up until I get my refund.
Very unprofessional.
I bought a phone and I was aware that is was used. It was damaged before, but the screen was replaced and everything seemed fine. So I bought it and paid $250 for it. The shipping was fast and I received my phone in a week. Well, I must say I was pretty happy about my purchase at first. It worked perfectly, but then two weeks later, it started doing strange things. Well, it opened some random apps and sometimes touch screen did not work. Every time it got bad I tried to reset it, and it helped, but not for a long period of time. The funniest thing was that sometimes it worked perfectly and some it just went crazy. I didn't want to report anything at first, because I still had the "reset" button. But, several days ago it stopped charging. I thought that my charger broke or something, and bought a new one. But it didn't help. So I finally decided to contact Swappa customer service. I sent them a message asking for the possible solutions. I must say the answer was genius! They told that it's probably my fault and there is nothing can do about it. Very rude and unprofessional.
I don't know where my order is. The seller doesn't react
It was the worst deal ever. I have bought from the company www.swappa.com. I purchased phone from them, but the company charged me for $20 and it was real scam. As well as the seller told me that the phone was sent already and he has given me the tracking number. When I checked the tracking number, it showed that the item was on its way to Miami. But I live in Florida. The company doesn’t respond to my email. I need real help.
I want to buy a smart phone from swappa, my worry is how will it be shipped to me?
I am in Cameroon precisely in the NW region
