I went through the downtown taco johns in Saint Cloud MN and the guy at the drive through was very rude. He barely spoke to me. And I could barely hear him on the intercom as well. When I got my order I didn't receive any sauce that I asked for and I know that seems minor but I don't eat my tacos without sauce and I love TJ sauce so I don't want to use other sauces as that ruins the purpose and the taste of the tacos.

Hi. I went to Elk River, Minnesota Taco Johns on Sunday March 11th, TWICE.
My first time since we just moved into the area. I went to DRIVE thru @12:48 pm cst.
I ordered

Meal with Dr Pepper. I waited 19 minutes .
I was so patient.but wow?
I paid approximately $11.24? My tacos were warmed, with a lime wedge, & toppings as pictured. OLE's were piping hot . Well worth the wait.
I later returned at 6:41pm cst, a skinny white kid took my order, via drive thru.
2 ahead of me, i waited 27 minutes for our food. We asked why its taking so long and 9 cars behind me.he said " we are short staffed"
Carly is our Supervisor, shes cooking.
Our street tacos were not heatedor warmed & no toppings like advertised, & shredded lettuce? Very cold.

didn't receive our whole order.
Went through the drive thru at the East Peoria Taco Johns at approximately 6:30 pm on Friday, March 9th. We didn't receive everything that we paid for. We have been trying to call the store for about an hour and all we get is a busy signal. We ordered a #7 #4, 2 hard shell, and 2 soft shell. All we received was the hard and soft shell tacos. We live 30 min away and don't want to drive back to the store tonight.

Have never complained before, but in this case, i have to. The service was friendly and polite, but very forgetful. I ordered a cheese quesadilla combo, a street taco trio combo, refried beans and three pops. Both combos I was even asked if i wanted cheese for the tots.
Now, what we got was a "chicken" quesadilla that my son wouldnt eat, "one" tot with both cheeses, street tacos (two with a total of 3 tiny pieces of steak- couldnt even tell the steak was there), and if it wasn't for my wife catching that we were short a pop, i would've driven off with only 2 pops. I know its a new store and it takes time to get the kinks out. Hoping for a better visit next time.

Wow if I'm going to pay to eat food and pay someone else's house bill's then I expect respect, and no funky [censor] attitude from the order taker, money handler etc. I'm going through the list of restaurants I eat and I'm deleting them fast for rude customer service if they hate their job go home no customer wants [censor] service and a rude [censor] taking the order and$$. I'm done with Taco John's and the narrow minded [censor] Lauren who was rude.

The manager by the name of Kyle Ray at the West Paducah Taco John's was on the line cutting prep food without any gloves, in street clothes and was not observed even washing his hands! We visited on 12/21/17 around 3pm is when we observed him doing this. This is not acceptable and as a customer, I will NOT going back. I'll drive farther out to the TJ's on Jackson rather than risk getting food poisoning because of the lack of cleanliness.

taco john's haskell and 23rd lawrence kansas
My family and I just left Taco John's on 23rd and Haskell in Lawrence KS around 4:30pm, and the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced there. Our order was $23.18 and we waited over 20 minutes in drive thru for our food. The man working the window didn't acknowledge us till the very end to let us know the long wait was for fresh potatoes. They never gave us our receipt but when we checked our food two of our meat and potato burritos were cold. Those were for my girls. Our potatoes did not seem fresh. We were missing our large potato Olay order along with the nacho cheese on the side and they added onions to the wrong item. We had to turn around and go back inside to try and correct our order. None of the workers tried to apologize, in fact, they were extremely rude and tried to tell me nothing was wrong with our order. After being treated so harshly by the manager, who called himself Tom, which I didn't believe was his actual name, I no longer wanted my food fixed, but just a refund for our poorly made dinner. The manager had insulted me, called me "salty" and was completely disrespectful. I returned all of the food we received and only wanted what we had paid for. He STILL was extremely rude and accused me of wanting more money than what we paid for even though, I was agreeing with the price I paid. My family and I don't live in Lawrence, we live in a smaller town outside of town, but we come to this location quite frequently, but after today I don't want to waste my money on such a terrible experience. I will be following up on this, to see something has been done to fix the way Taco John's employees treat their costumers and the way they approach their customer service.

i visited my local taco johns with my little girls like, we do every week.but this thursday was terrible i spent 20 on food and half of my food wasnt mine it was someone elses and when i asked where my food was the guy rolled his eyes and said i dont know we waited a good 30 minutes waiting on food with poor custamer service.ive been a good custamer for over 30 years and this one dine in experience wont change how i love the food but i probably wont dine in again with the poor service.

Lady named lourada was so incredibly rude to the customer in front of us that we left. A man (fed ex worker ) came in and asked if his order was right, he had ordered super nachos and I can tell you from the 2 years I worked at taco johns myself those were not super nachos. It was so sloppy and skimpy. The lady was like yep that's the super nachos and looked him up and down and dismissed him. Then gave us a look like we were next didn't greet us or anything. She obviously hates her job or has personal issues that need to be handled elsewhere. I was embarrassed for the TJ franchise because of this behavior. I told her we were leaving after her behavior and she did not have anything to say. This was about 11am on Nov 30th at the logan st location in denver.
Went to taco johns in columbia tn on feb 11. we placed our order and then we heard an employee cussing and yelling and calling someone a [censor]. the manager told the cashier to stop taking orders and everyone starting leaving, the manager should have called the police but let the employee continue yelling and cussing.. she should be fired. this store has only been open a few weeks. I will never go back. some grand opening. some manager and employees they must have been desperate for employees. wow we had just left church on sunday night. the nachos were terrible and hardly any meat on them. we waited forever on our food and I finally ask if anyone was going to fix our order. this store is awful and so is the food.

I was at your St. Paul location on Rice Street this morning. You made me the wrong breakfast burrito, I brought it back. I ordered the meat and potato breakfast burrito and got a scrambler. Your employee said that's what I ordered and blah blah blah. It's not what I ordered and she wanted to sit there and argue about it. She said that's how the burrito is made when I requested sausage. I've got that before and it was NEVER made last me that! I will never visit another taco john's in my life after the way I was treated today! I will be contacting the BBB! Then the little [censor] tried to throw the bag of burritos back in my [censor] car! I should contact the police!

We got two six packs of tacos to go. We ask for lite lettuce. We got home with your food find that the tacos was not wrap properly & there was only two or three pieces of lettuce & every little cheese & little meat. They was also little cold too. It also came with potato oles. Half of them were old & half was fresh. We have in the pass talk to the manager but we keep getting attitudes employees.

My husband went through the drive thru one night and ordered 2 potato oles with cheese, etc. Once home, he realized we had only received 1 order of the oles, but had been charged for 2. When we called to explain, we were argued with, yelled at and told the security footage showed us getting the correct order. We ask to see this and there was silence on the other end. When I ask to talk to the manager I was informed I was speaking to the owner!
She then passed the phone off to a man, who again stated that the order was correct, but took my name and stated I could come in to be refunded?!

For starters... I shouldn't be able to smell your weed when I'm standing on the other side of the counter from you.
What you do in your free time off duty is of no concern of mine, however when customers can tell you literally JUST came inside from smoking a bowl...then that's an issue.
Second, I don't expect much from a fast food employee that looks like he just crawled out of the cargo space on Rob Zombies tour bus after stowing away for three days...But the blatant eye rolling and dragging your feet when you're asked to do your job is a bit ridiculous. If it sothers you so much that someone asks for a taco with no lettuce then maybe fast food isn't your forte.
Third, you probably shouldn't be "bragging" on social media and drawing attention to yourself with pictures (attached) of you flipping (yourself?) Off in the mirror. Especially when you can see the Taco Johns logo on both you and your co-workers shirts...

This particular location has gone downhill since the old manager left around a year or so ago.
cold taco meat
On 10-15-17 me and my girls placed an order at Store # 9956. When we received our order both girls stated that the taco meat was cold. I returned to the counter with cold tacos and explained to the staff that the meat was cold. She stated that it was probably cold from the lettuce. She then proceeded to the kitchen area and I watched her take a thermometer and take the temperature of the meat. While she is doing all this I am still waiting at the counter with cold tacos wondering if this is going to be fixed. After a couple of minutes have passed I took my cold tacos back to our table and told the girls we would wait a few more minutes and then leave. Finally they bring out different tacos and remove the cold ones. At no time did they state that they would fix this just left me standing there wondering. No apology. No nothing. Customer service at its lowest.

Honestly, this is my first complaint for Taco Johns. I eat here at least once a week. I paid for a large order of mexi rolls. I get home and realize that THERE IS NO CHEESE SAUCE. At this point in my life, I should know to check the bag. However, I am not being paid to check that my order is correct. I AM PAYING MONEY FOR FOOD/SERVICE. So all of it should be there. And especially after 5 minutes of making a complaint because I'm so annoyed, my entire meal is ruined. Worst national taco day ever. TY Taco Johns.
insects in breakfast burrito
This morning at 8:10 we ordered from Taco Johns store #09980 Came Home broke open one burrito for son but dad took bite first found insects in the burrito. I decided to not go make a scene. But I did contact THE Taco Johns website and sent photos to the Facebook. And called the 800 customer service hotline. My #1 concern was the managers lack of compassion to the complaint.

We stopped at taco johns at 5:44pm. My husband went in to order there was no body in front of him at the counter, he placed our order 2 stuffed grilled tacos and 1 order of potato oles.. I waited in the truck. I watched 5 cars come and go thru drive thru and the sixth one was leaving as he came out the door.. How can it take that long to make our order? We had three items .. Very disappointed ... Will be a long time before we go back. I would like to add we usually go at least once a week as it is close to our home..

This is now the third time I have gone to this store after 6 am which the sign clearly states you are open at 6 am. The lady got on the speaker intercom and said you were not open go down the street to the other taco johns.

I went to store #1306 and ordered a 6 pack and a pound. It took me 20 minutes to receive my food. I was appauled not because of the wait but the way your manager it shift leader verbally assaulted another employee. That should have been done behind closed doors or when there was no customers in the building. There was food prepared WITH OUT GLOVES! I would have left if I hadn't had paid for my food already. It was the worst expierence I have ever had. I was shocked that preparing food without gloves was allowed. The employee also used his personal pocket knife to open a bag then proceeded to put the knive back in his pocket. When I received my food the manager stated she was short staffed and that was the reason for our delay. There wasnt many customers, a couple was waiting for their food and 2 vehicles in the drivethrough. The delay was most likely the manager yelling at staff. The cleanliness or shall I say lack of, was awful. There was smeared feces on the wall of the bathroom. The lobby had old food on the floor and the tables were not cleaned. I attempted to throw the wrapper away from my drink but the trash was full.
I was so Happy when Fremont brought back taco johns. I hate there a week straight for supper during the first week of opening. I unfortunately will not be returning for a while (if i even decide to)due to the service and the issues stated above. I really wish these issues would be fixed because I do love the food, when its not cold.
