balance deduction and no support from customer care
Hello sir/Ma'm,
I am Tata Docomo user since its started in Madhya Pradesh, but since 3 days i am having a major issue of balance deduction for internet browsing
that i am not using even, daily i loss minimum 15-20 rupee for internet browsing even i never open browser or any application and even i have deleted all the
internet setting/access points 2 days before but still its deducting, even i have applied for 3G deactivation but i don't think so its done yet but i have put my phone
on 2G mode without any internet setting but still my balance is deducting and its been 3 days i am continue calling for same complaint but your customer
care executives and supervisor just blaming me for i am using internet through divein and for that my balance is deducting but honestly even i am not having internet
setting, more then 10-15 times i called to your 198/121 number but getting same response but no solution, in 3 days i have lost about 60 rupee from my balance and its
still going on, if i am sleeping and when i wake up i see a flash massage of balance deduction of internet browsing, its just deducting anytime even when i inserted
my sim on black and white without internet phone...this is my humble request to please short it out what is wrong with my number and why my balance is deducting.

I am having TATA DOCOMO PREPAID SIM CARD IN use for last two years. No. Iis [protected]
On 08 May 11, i activated Voice Mail service by sending a SMS as instructed, to the service provider TATA DOCOMO. Not satisfied with the service, i sent a request by typing CAN VM to 121 to cancel my voice mail.But i couldn't deactivate it. sINCE THEN I have placed request with TATA DOCOMO several times but in vain. TheIr assurance like it will be deactivated "WITHIN TWO HRS" / "WITHIN 24 HRS" / WITHIN 48 HRS" are all proved false. I spoke to customer care people ; few to remember their names as SWATIKA, RAJESWARI, MARY, then one higher official GEETA, but the end result is same. the VOICE MAIL IS STILL NOT DEACTIVATED. The poorest thing is that most of them are not even aware of technical details .Everytime u speak to them, u have to explain from day one and then an EXTREMELY POOR ASSURANCE. One of the cutomer care even went on to say to check my settings on mobile. Though i never changed my settings except for sending request SMS to the service provider, but i still checked the same.but the result is same. Now i don't have any other option but to put the TATA DOCOMO on NOTICE through this message that if in next 48 hrs, my voice mail is not deactivated, i will be copnstrained to knock the door of the court.
(EXTREMELY PATHETIC EXPERIENCE WITH CUSTOMER CARE EVEN IN THE PAST.)

Noone send voices msg on my docomo no [protected]
I have not been able to retrieve my Voicemail messages since the last one week. Everytime I dial the Voicemail number, I am asked to enter my password. After entering the password I get a message again to enter my password. This goes on in an infinite loop. Completely frustrated with Tata Docomo's Voice mail service.
In fact Tata Docomo's customer service is also pathetic. Their representatives don't understand the issue. Their only solution is to raise a complaint and wait for 4-5 days. What's the use of voicemail service if one has to wait for 4-5 days for the technical team to look into it. Disgusting service.
I am also facing the same problem. I have complaining from 5 days, but nothing has been done.

I am Sekhar. I am using Tata docomo. My mobile number is [protected]. I haven't requested for activating any services or not download any mobile apps on my number and they simply deducted an amount 5.0 rupees without my permission on 13 feb2013. Same thing happened for me in the past for another number of mine. This type of things are the major reasons for the customers to shift to another networks from tata docomo. It decreases the credibility of the network. Give me my balance back. Solve this problem as early as possible. After using my balance i am definitely going to change my network and i won't prefer this network once again in my life and i will tell my friends also not to go for this network.
A month ago I made the biggest blunder I could by changing my corporate number to a DoCoMo connection.Believe me when I say this, "I don't get signals even at prime places in Chennai like Elliot's Beach in Besant Nagar."Further to worsen my problems I lose signal once I reach my home @ Kelambakkam.The reply I get whenever I have problems losing signals when I travel around Chennai is that it would take another 2 months to sort this out. I have had to apologize to my clients and reactivate my old number and circulate the same among my contacts.

As per the discussion over the call on number [protected], I would like to inform you that the balance deduction is due to the CRBT service and i regret to tell you that the deducted amount cannot be refunded back for CRBT service, However once the CRBT is activated it can be deactivated but the amount cannot be refunded back. Kindly check the same.
However you can call *191# or 155223(toll free) in order to deactivate any VAS services activated on your number in future.

Sir, i puchased a sim(docomo) from a retail outlet in rourkela, and then got activated, then asked the retailer to provide me a SMS pack of rupees 30, which was activated too, and i got an sms for the same in my mobile, but the problem remains still that i am not able to get my balance of my sms, then i asked the retailer about it but he just told me to talk to the customer care of tatadocomo in no [protected], i gave a call and the customer care person told me to write" BAL" from my mobile to 121 and send, but i got a sms from docomo people that you have ... balance in your account but then there was no sign of any information of sms balance(for which i am trying to find out)
Secondly, whenever i send a sms to Australia, the amount of rupees 5 is detucted from my main balance whereas it should be deducted from my sms pack as it is being given by Airtel sms pack.
Thirdly, the signal of tatadocomo is so poor that it hardly connects any mobile, plz let me know some number by which i can know my sms balance.

I was with Vodafone for almost 6 years and when number portability came to existance in INdia, I decided to try the tata docomo service. I was having ISD facility with Vodafone account(without any deposit) and when I was porting my number to Tata Docomo, the only condition I gave them is, I want an ISD connection without any deposit. The executives from Tata Docomo office(Not any agents) promised me that it will be done without any deposit. My number is now ported to Tata Docomo only to find
(i) No ISD Connectivity -->Now the call center executive is asking me to deposit Rs:2000 to get ISD Connection
(ii) Very poor Signal --> Most of the areas, the signal strength is very bad
(iii) A Pathetic Customer Service --> I have seen very nice ads about Tata Docomo service, but I those are good in ads only. Reality is exact opposite
And today morning when I woke up, I find my services are deactivated stating there is bill pending in my old Vodafone account. I have cleared all the dues in time, and when I contacted Tata Docomo service center, they are asking me to contact Vodafone Customer Care(It happens only in India... :) )
So this is a warning to all the ones who are planning to port the numbers to Tata Docomo. Enjoy their ads in the TV but dont go by the ads to take any decision. I will be porting my number back to Vodafone or Airtel after 90 days(These is a minimum 90 days lock in period for number portability).

After long time association with Airtel service provider for Seven years, I moved to DoCoMo assuming of better services, it’s a blunder I ever did in my life.
My DoCoMo connection was activated on 4th FEB-2011. I’ve cleared my donor service provider’s bill, namely Airtel on 28 FEB-2011 bearing the bill no:34-[protected] In Airtel outlet, Cunningham road, Bangalore.
On 2nd-MARCH-2011, my out-going services were barred for the reason: Not paying my Airtel bill. Spoke to customer care at 8:30 AM and given all the payment details of my previous bills and was promised to active my service by 12 noon. Service was not activated. Called customer care at 2 PM and followed up once again. At last my outgoing service was activated at 3 PM.
Again on 9th-MARCH-2011, I started my day with all my services barred(Incoming & Outgoing). Called Customer care, once again and the same reason was repeated: services were barred for the reason not paying my Airtel bill. What is DoCoMo doing from not updating my details? Spoke to all the agents and Team-Leads from the customer care namely: Fazil, Archana, Nirmal, Arun, Nodal office guy named Suresh. All of them were good at giving reasons of Airtel disconnected my service, but when I spoke to Airtel Customer care: They’ve clearly updated and stated that there is no existing balance to be paid on this number and the customer had switched over to TATA DoCoMo.

Hi i am from karanataka i am using tatadocomo sim for last 3month let you tell about his company they send flash message to they customer like OK to active this service so and so even you cancel it they active automatically any service. if some one check they balance they get to know. if some one not they loose they balance just think about for example they got 1million customer and they automatically active any service of rupees 30 to 2 crore customer 1 crore customer don't know they loss 30 of they balance, and the next 1 crore customer they know and they complaint? In that 1 crore 50 lack customer get they balance back and another 50 lack they put busy for 24 hours so think here how many rupees does they get of doing this.?
This is a example but company get more than this they do every month to there customer like this only

Beware TATA DOCOMO is scamming your money and recharge, it is very dangerous company. Besides they are technically very bad and in most of Bangalore, their signal is very poor.

I have been using the prepaid no. [protected], since last 6 months, got this connection from mobile store. this no. was succesfully recharged yesterday and worked till today afternoon 2.00. All of sudden sim card failure was displayed . whn contacted ur corporate office in kanpur, was directed to there branch office naveen market, kanpur.
REGRET to inform you further, NO action was taken there, i was once again asked to go to the cprporate office. when insisted to speak there, the personal called up. But MR Bhupendra singh(as told) even refused to speak and understand the customer greviance. SIMPLE reply was your no. is cancelled and can not be re alloted.
A company like TATA should not be appointing such indecent and careless personals at this level. i have 5 connections, fortunately only ONE is TATA. please do look into the case and allot me the same number., otherwise advise me never to opt TATA products in future. ANY formalities required can be provided all over again, but such kind of treatment is highly objectionable

I wanted to discard My old telphone which has all old features, black and white model Nokia, and CDMA type . And hence bought a new GSM mobile NOKIA EXPRESS MUSIC TOUCH SREEN and applied to the CUSTOMER CARE TATA INDICOM to convert CDMA TO GSM and with NUBER PORTABILITY. My earlier no was [protected] and
this was converted to GSM TATA DOCOMO, for which I submitted 2no Photographs, address proof, ID proof and duly signed DOCOMO CONNECTION FORM duly signed.This all procedures were done in month of April 2011.(31st April 2011)
Against the above I recieved New SIM CARD of DOCOMO at Rs 19.00 and also SMS alert of actuation of sim in my old handset. and with Number Portability. I recharged for Rs 100.00 in between and my new set was working O.K.
All of a sudden on 02/06/2011 my hand set stopped working and says your sim card registration failed. I went personlly to above office CUSTOMER CARE DEPT OF VASHI OFFICE (OPP VASHI RAILWAY STATION) I had very disgusting, humilating experiance of people there. First day they asked me the persons name whom I had submitted the papers and documents. On Second day The representative says you did not submitted the papers here at all and hence your registration has failed.
Are you allowing people to get new connection and sim card with out documentaion, I think any tom, dick and harry can manage to get the new connection at DOCOMO.
how simply your representative says you havnt submitteed documents. He would have checked from were the new sim card has been issued . This details may be he is having with him in the records . He didnt have the courtesy to listen the problem of a customer. He dont want listen . He just saying you might have submitted papers some were else.
I have to resubmit the papers with photographs for no fault of me. Highly disgusting and humilating experience I had at your centre when all of them say that I have`nt submitted the papers. At least they would have courtesy of old cutomer of TATA INDICOM of same Phone number.

pre-paid balance deducted
I have had a TATA DOCOMO pre-paid connection for over a year now, but never has such a thing ever happened. Just when I was thinking I had the best connection around, came this bomb!
I have been calling the TATA DOCOMO customer care since the 17th of November 2010, when my phone displayed the message 'Sim registration failed'. When my connection was restored, I discovered to my horror, that my account balance which was in excess of Rs. 230 + a Rs. 48 internet pack had been reduced to 0!
Suffice to say I have called at least 8 times since then, and have been disconnected 4 times yesterday alone, and spent well over 2 hours on the phone with the incompetent folks at TATA DOCOMO.
NOW, after 8 conversations, and a waste of so much time, I have been 'requested' to wait till Thursday, which is 3 days away! Why on Earth should I when I have been nothing but patient for the last 5 days?!

Well, it looks like TATA DOCOMO is not only deficient in service, but also, the biggest liars on the face of this planet. FYI, it is now the 28th of November, and the deadline that YOU had given me for resolution of this issue is long past. Hi i completely agree with u guys. Even 'm using TATA DOCOMO from past 2years at beginning it was really good but later its like hell. I had recharged my no. on 24th of Aug, 2011 just two days later they deducted Rs. 26/- from my account. I have been calling them from 26th Oct, 2011 till today that is 16th Sep, 2011 and still i have not got the refund. Seriously they should feel ashamed.

I called the customer care to know whether i can use an STD docomo number under friends and family member offer. The guy said i can use any number of docomo network(STD/Local) but i can use only one number. So i tried to activate the offer my sending an SMS as "FF "[without quotes]. I have used the docomo number only in the SMS and i send it to the 121 as the customer care guy said. But i got the following strange reply "Sorry the SR cannot be raised for this profile". I didn't understand what they meant. Can any body from tata docomo help me?

I am old customer of Tata Docomo using higher plan of 3G dongle and paying good amount to Docomo even in advance.
Last week I had purchased a post paid connection [protected] from your Tata Docomo office Moradabad - UP-west with prepaid high amount and formalities done same time. I have advised by docomo staff this will be activate by next days, I have called to them more than 100 times for request to activate my connection but they are not listening me and now they are not picking my calls. After that I called to your circle manager Mr Sharad Kumar but not picking the phone, after that I requested via sms and they committed to solve the issue but no result.
I have purchased this connection in emergency and I have also give this number to my buyers and they are calling me but number not activated, I am losing my business minute by minute. Really I am very disappointed with your services and wrong statement.
I am very disappointed and mental tension, pls advise what should I do.
Nobody is ready to listen my and solve my problem. This is really bad to Docomo's customers. I will show you quality of services to media, go with complaint and your cheating system to customers to show Board of Directors - Tata Docomo and may suit the file in consumer court on Monday.

this is purushothama working for DRDO at C.V.Raman nagar Bangalore i had taken a post paid connection from TATA Docomo company through their channel partner by name Serco on 28/06/2010.this is becouse they forced me take the sim by showing so many options. for which i have paid Rs. 300 as initial deposit to the person who as come for verification through the company by Serco, the bill number is 008582.After that till today i am calling the customer care people to activate the card but nobody is responding for the same. they are telling they are not responsible for the cause.Please help me to either to activate my sim or to refund my money back.thanking you

I am also facing the same issue. It has been 3 days that the SIM has been provided but no one is bothered to activate the SIM. When i contact the dealer, she is showing me that the SIM Card has been activated already and he asked me to check the status. But when i insert that SIM card, its showing as INVALID SIM. Later on, he is not picking up my call. I am hightly disappointed with the DOCOMO Service.
I too am facing the same issue. It has been more than 10 days that the SIM has been provided but no one is bothered to activate the SIM.
Either activate the SIM or Return the money back. BTW whenever you call their CC, there is no help even after telling them that i am a TATA employee, so i can imagine what would it be like for others.

I locked the Tata Docomo SIM card in my motorola mobile by going to the "Lock SIM" option of Security Settings. But after giving the right PUK 10 times, 10 attemps were shown and the SIM got blocked. I cannot open the SIM.

I am having serious grievances against TATA DOCOMO for sending the Legal notice to me. My numbers are [protected] & [protected]
I am ready to pay the charges if any fault of mine and I were used the connections I have stopped using even after you have granted me three months rental waiver
The problem starts
The number I have taken from TATA DOCOMO the same were cancelled after three days of the connections and the same was communicated to DOCOMO that the problem is faced in the network so I am not interested in the connection and DOCOMO has promised that with in 15 days we are fixing the tower in your area but I insisted to cancel the numbers and stopped using the numbers from that day itself and informed the company for the same for the dis-connection of the number and surrender of the SIM but the person informed that your numbers will be cancelled and have the SIMS with you automatically your numbers will stop working after that the number is not utilized by me. And after 3-4 days recd a call from DOCOMO in that call AVINASH from TATA DOCOMO insisted me that to continue with DOCOMO for next three months and your rental is waived for the next three months on both the numbers so on the request I thought that might the problem will be resolved but not started using the numbers again the bill is generated and since that time I am in touch with DOCOMO for the cancellation of numbers and nobody from the company is reverting directly to me and but sending the NOTICES to me
This is total failure of TATA-DOCOMO system and I am not responsible for the whole first of all check your records and then send a notice in each of my call I am constantly telling to all the DOCOMO Guys that I want to make a compliant in TRAI but nobody provided the numbers for the complaints and grievance in Feb 2010 I had talked to a lady in the nodal office and she also not informed the TRAI NUMBERS and compelled me that with in 20 minutes I am calling you back in 20 minuets but no call was recd till date and today I found your notice
Explained me that to deposit the charges pending and these things are mentally harassing me I need a proper investigation in this case show me all details
I am again confirming that I am ready to pay all the charges but I need a concrete solution of my problem that Customer is nothing in front of a company and kindly inform the rights of a customer from your companies point of View and from Government of India point of view and I want to take TRAI view also is DOCOMO can compel any customer for paying any type of company made dues just like we are living the world of EAST India Company now a days the same role is played by DOCOMO what a sense & Level of customer satisfaction TATA is having

NWK [protected]- on 14th Finally after speaking with TL-NAVEEN AHUJA- that he'lll make sure it'll solved. but again FRUSTETINGLY is NOT SOLVED & again 24hr TAT
FINALLY Today i spoke with Mr. LILADHAR MULE (Team leader as he said) & He again gave me TAT of 24Hrs. I Urge you to please go through all the call logs(Wrapup)
& SRs... & THINK how stupid people i've been dealing till now...
I'm surrendering the card with all due respect to the name of TATA & with Foolish agents & TECH. TEAM people who dont understand what issue is & what resolution should be.

problem with incoming and out going calls
I am a docomo user from Tadepalligudem, nearEluru, west godavari dist, Andhra Pradesh.
I have a problem with the network. Initially i thought it was phone compliant, but after changing the sim into 3 phones the problem repeats My incoming or outgoing calls last for just few secs(2-5 secs), I even cant hear the voice, but i get msgs and i can send too. Its happening from 3 days and i am losing my patience as from 3 days i am there without communication, when does the network gets rectified?
I have called customer care twice and there was no proper solution!
Hope it gets rectified or tata is going to loose a lot of customers...

That I, K. K. Kesarwani, a central Government’s employee, working under Government of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Petroleum & Explosives safety Organisation ( Department of Explosives) Nagpur., presently residing in a Central Government residential Colony allotted by the Government of India, at Type II, Qtr. No. 87, Bunglow no. 17, CPWD Colony, North Telankhedi Road, Civil Lines, Nagpur – 440001 (MH).
That I got a new prepaid connection of Tata Docomo on 09/09/2009 ( Mobile Number : [protected] ) from your retailer M/S. Vidyarthi Pustak Bhandar, Behind Veterinary College, Seminary Hills, Nagpur (MH) and submitted all the required documents of residence proof as well photo Identity proof (copy enclosed) as asked by the said retailer, with my duly filed application for new Tata Docomo connection.
I got my prepaid connection activated next day from the date of my application, but I am very sorry to write to you that suddenly just after 2 – 3 days from the date of activation of my connection, outgoing services of my mobile No. [protected] has been barred from your end without giving any intimation to me as well without hearing my version.
When I contacted to retailer for asking about reason for getting barred of my outgoing calls, he said that company has rejected all the documents submitted by me in support of Photo Identity and residence proof.
When I asked the said retailer that I want to talk with any senior responsible person of Tata Docomo company to know the ground of rejection of my documents, he gave me few numbers of Mr. Amit Mandogade and Mr. Pranav of M/s. Shantikunj Agency ( Agency Code No. is [protected]) beside number of Mr. Amit Pandey ( Area Manager) of Tata Docomo.
I have called number of times to Mr. Amit Mandogade and Mr. Pranav of M/s. Shantikunj Agency ( Agency Code No. is [protected]) on mobile number [protected] and have made so many request them to resume out going services of my mobile, but they did not take any action against my request.
At last I tried to call Mr. Amit Pandey ( Area Manager) of Tata Docomo on his mobile number [protected], most of time his mobile was switch off, but once when he received my call and when I described my problem before him, he started shouting on me that “ how dare you to call me” and “who the bloody ### gave you my number tell me his name I will terminate his agency.” Beside this he said so many other things, as wordings used by Mr. Amit Pandy can’t be written here.
As concerned to documents related to my photo ID and residence proof, I have under mentioned documents with me.
1. Driving License issued by the “Kanpur RTO Department.”
2. Voter ID Card issued by Election Commission
3. Bank Pass Book
4. Photo ID card issued by the Central Government’s Department
5. Electricity Bill
6. PAN CARD
7. Residential Quarter allotment letter in CPWD Colony issued by Government of India
8. Address Verification letter issued by the Central Government’s Department.
But Mr. Amit Pandey refused to accept any of the document out of above mentioned and said that he will not accept any document other than Driving License issued by the “Nagpur RTO Department only.”
I really could not understand the reason why he started abusing to me.
I would like to know whether company has recruited Mr. Amit Pandey to hear and to resolve problems of subscribers/customers or to insult of society’s sincere and responsible persons like me.
This is to inform you that abusing me by your Mr. Amit Pandey comes under the definition of “defamation”
Now I don’t have any interest to get restoration of your Tata Docomo services on my mobile No. [protected].
You are requested to take a strong disciplinary action against Mr. Amit pandey and to ask him to express his written apologies to me for his behavior within seven days else, I will have no option but to file a defamation suit before the law of court against Mr. Amit Pandey as well against Tata Docomo Company.

i ashish from bhopal got a 2g sim and activated 3g via "ACT 3G" then recharged with 601for1 GB for 30days but all gone in 12 days while no downloading by me. then i recharged 65 and got 2.5 gb data and online 11 rs. 3g for 10 mb till mid night and within 15 mins all data is zero. on visting docomo office i was told when u recharge a new plan old is replaced with it. while my netmeter only shows i heve used only 400mb. where rest gone is surprice for me.
