I had booked for a tataindicom broadband connection. I had got in touch with the sales person and he visited my residence, as per procedure and collected all the necessary documents and i paid him 500/- as cash, 50/- as his charge! Well i was promised the connection in 2 days, but its already 15 days now and still i have no clue whats the status of my connection. Well the sales guy whom i had contacted doesn't pick my call. I called up customer care to check about it, but they asked for application number. I stated the application no which was mentioned on the form, but they said its invalid and they cant help!
Well my question Is TataI ndicom is aware about these sales guys, as that guy had a ID of the Co? If so how can they say that they are responsible?
Well i have submitted documents also, i am not sure whom to approach! But i would request others please don't trust the sales guys, they are more or less cheaters! Please be careful before submitting your documents. Don't pay the deposit until and unless u get the connection!

I got a tata land phone connection 6 months ago, am pay the deposit 500 rs and i got connection but the installation people came my home and said only small range is there am say in my room there r some range but other room r range but they go with phone and not install tata phone, then am call her sir and said but he never take action, than am send a compliant to tata compliant section but no reply r from there. Its a bludy basted service, am never use tata phone built my cash is not return before 6 months wats its tatas customer service... bludy cheep service...

I took two connection of tata indicom in which incoming free while roaming. They have changed plan without any intimation and they added the incoming charges while roaming in my bill. When i asked them they told me we cannot do anything about ur billing amount. Whenever i try to call customer care in day. Its always come busy. In online payments, they take 5-10 days. If it takes 5-10 days then what is the use of online payment. Eveytime their network busy. I am really fed up with Tata indicom. I suggest everyone not to take tata connection. These companies should be banned by TRAI.

Beware, Tata Indicom Wi Fi card becomes invalid after short usage. I had a card that was supposed to last for 2 hours. After 5 minutes use, the card balance became zero. I called customer care. They were no use. As per the customer care representative, the card was used about 3 weeks back, sometime in October. I scratched the card myself on November 15th, used it for 5 minutes (it was valid).
There may be bad cards in circulations. Or Tata Indicom is cheating people.
Will someone care to investigate it?

Hello Friends,
I am Mahendra Gondaliya, i have purchased two tata indicom mobiles on this diwali, they have announced a scheme called DIWALI BONANZA. they gave me two coupons for purchase of two mobiles. i have scratched both card on which i got 25 Rs talktime, i have filled and signed the form and they told me that I will get the talk time within 2 days credited in my balance. buty 4 days has been paseed no increment on balance. So I visited the tata indicom shop again , but they have given me rude answer. Today about 20 days has been passed , i still haven't get any talktime credited on my balance.
So beware of these type of schemes friends, also the network coverage is the big issued in tata indicom mobiles.

U can use the tata indicom directory assist to find about that number.. Call up 197 and tell them ur problem and ask for the address of the caller.. I hope this will solve ur problem. Or call up the customer care at 121 and ask them to block calls from this number. I have already used the directory assist. The services are ok there.. But i have not tried calling the customer care and blocking calls.. Its just a suggestion. Pls try it and mail me if it helps u...

I had eight telephone lines for my company from Tata Indicom. I discontinued 4 of them. But they keep billing me for those disconnected lines.
Its been more than two and half years and I made numerous complains since the past two years buts no action.
And the situation is the billing in running almost a lakh of rupees. When i call up customer service, they say they don't know how to "not bill for disconnected telephone"
What a pity, i have a call from collection agents and senior executives from Tata Indicom, who call me every month and i have to explained him every time i make a payment.
Nothing but pure harassment.

I have taken an internet connection,which is very very slow & few sites are not opening,whenever i tried to contact at koramangala office at bangalore,no body will attend the call and the executive who dealt with me never respond to my call.Also i have applied for landline connection in the month of september and i have paid all the charges by cash,still that connection has not been provided and they have not returned my money also which i have paid for landline connection.

Tata indicom sevice is very poor.I have taken a wireless landline connection in marathahalli area in bangalore.When they installed it in my apartment there was no signal and they promised to put an external antenna and for the past 1 week there is no reply from them.I tried to contact the concerned manager and his response was poor.Every day he will tell it will be done the same day and nothing happened so far.So i advice to think once more before taking connection

Tata indicom is the worst ISP. Their attitude towards their customers is unprofessional. I applied for a new broadband connection and the sales executive (Vilas Padwal: [protected]) persuaded us and convinced us that they would give us a new connection in 10 days. It's been 16 days now, so I firmly told him to return the check back and he refuses to pick up the phone. Never go for their prepaid plans, in fact, avoid this ISP. Their customer service department sucks and I wonder why they have a customer service department in the first place.

As per your letter dated 06.12.07 which is attached. You have mentioned that I have signed the terms and conditions of your services dated 14/2/2007 at ‘SAI RADHA TELECOMUNICATIONS, ‘SHANTHI NIVAS’ K.M.MARG, UDUPI .
YES YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT I MADE THE GREATEST MISTAKE OF AVAILING YOUR SERVICES. But let me inform you that I have also been a regular payer of all the bills thereafter.
I purchased a cell phone at the same time 'Samsung Hero’ @ Rs.1500/-with charger at your outlet in Udupi. This was done in the month of February 2007 as you can see in the bill. The cell phone stopped working on July 11th that also is evident by the last bill that you have sent. I went to SAI RADHA TELECOMUNICATIONS, where I bought the connection and lodged a complaint, two employees gave the phone to a technician inside another room, who informed me that they would have to send it to Mangalore for repair. NOTE: I was not given any voucher for having given the phone for repair. For the next 4 days I had no communication though I was told that I would be informed as it was a post paid connection. I repeatedly rang them up and was told that it could not be repaired at Mangalore and hence was sent to Bangalore. After that I had no communication from them except asking to pay the bill. Now I refuse to do so for the points to be noted----
1. I do not have the phone nor the charger.
2. It was post paid service I had taken so therefore why should I
pay when I dont have the cell and have not utilized it
3. The phone was not working after six month !
( ? Standard)---the reason given after 4 months (that is 10 months
later) --water had damaged it. How? I gave the cell before heavy
monsoon started & the cell is always in the department I work
locked as i get signal only at Manipal and not at Hiriadka
4. You already have my deposit of Rs.500/- & my mobile:- my gift
to 'TATA TELESERVICES'
If you take legal action as you have threatened, we have enough people who have witnessed by listening over phone and were there when your representative came and harassed us repeatedly not willing to say anything about the mobile that I had given. Escaping their responsibility by saying that it was damaged due to water you can go to consumer court and so on.
Thus I hereby refuse to have anything to do with you. You can keep the Rs 500/- deposit as payment against the bill and the mobile as a gift by me to the great TATA teleservices. I am sure by now 100s of customers would have suffered like this. God save people who become your customers.

i have buy a tata indicom prepaid no from the pandav nagar Delhi on 20.12.07.it was activated when i purchase it but after 3 days it has been disactivate.and after complaints a lot of time it is close till now.

Tata Indicom's Internet speeds are best not discussed. I have a dialup walky internet connection, and I have hit 14KB / sec once in one year! ha ha, oops I forgot to mention the time - 3 AM when the rest of the crowd were snoring I tried to get some speed. The above speed is good, but when I work in general, I can boast of a max of 5 KB / Sec.
The main problem is still there to be discussed. Its called the phone disco of disconnections.
The walky is connected via the USB port to my desktop. When connection to the internet, if I change the regulator of the fan or switch on / off a light, the connection drops. Leave aside during a power cut. I control and so does my wife control her putting on of switches, but in a place like bangalore where my window faces the bedroom of the other, how can I tell him./ her to please not switch the light on or off or fan. They do that and my connection says - disconnect zindabad.
Isn't this something really great, disco at the hands of all others around your house ... and your great misery. Now why am I still using - because with the wireless option this seems to be the best compared to hopeless services of reliance ...

i had disconnected my wife'sDelhi phone number [protected] and gave back the instrument even after that every month 3-4 calls from their billing depts. coming for payments as i had requested well before the time and they could not disconnect the phone in time and for that period i not used the phone except toll free number of their customer care requesting many times to disconnect it and they assured me that you will not be charged as your request is registered before the bill circulation date.please correct your system error and send me the recipt of last and final payment.

I was receiving one landline tata indicom phone with internet service. As i was receiving wrong information from sales executive i was decided to disconnect this connection immediately on the next day of receiving that phone, for that i was giving intimation to ur customer care for disconnection, as they said my connection was disconnected withing 15 days from the date of purchase and also sales executive was took back my phone by giving receipt and told me that i will get money back withing 15 days, since i was not getting money back i have called ur helpline and told all story but they told me that u will get ur refund back within 3 months from the date of purchase i was waiting till 3 months still i m not receiving any payment, i was purchase that instrument in September still i m waiting for my refund, can u tell me what the hell is going on, when i got my refund back?
please give me ur reply as early as possible otherwise i will suite a case against u in consumer court...

I gave him a call on his number but he did not respond ,now my problem is dat i have to discontinue my oldere number also, due to this new number bcos dey r in same account.I made a complaint in main office , but i havent recieved a response yet.My older number is spreaded to all my clents and i dnt want to discontinue ,but forcefull i have to discontinue it.

i have applied for tata indicom walky connection at new delhi. Immediately some persons come from tata. I thought they are from tata. But afterwards i come to know that they are from ITBL Telecom Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi. They said they got request from tata to book the walky connection. So I have paid Rs.1152 for the walky connection along with all the documents. But I did not get connection and instrument. When I contaced the Tata indicom office at Connaught place, they said we are not responsi ble, you contact the private agent thorough whom you paid the money.But the ITBL Telecom Pvt. Ltd says you contact the TATA, we are not responsible. Since I approched only the Tata Tele services, and only they forwarded to ITBL Telecom Pvt.Ltd, only the Tata's are responsible. But inbetween my money is held up some where. Tata officials when I approached, their incharge Mr.Jain in connaught place office said don't allow these peple inside the office. Ask him to come again in the long que. It is the responsibility of tata to either give connection or return the money along with my documents.

I paid my bill on 7th Feb. 08 through easy bill who are authorized agent of tata Indicom but till date i.e 15th Jan. my outgoing has been Restricted.I ve this problem of not making outgoing calls since 4th of Feb.
Kindly look forward to my complaint as I hav been cheated by the company

Quick Summary of my experience with TATA Indicom broadband @ Chennai.
TATA Indicom broadband (VSNL) guys lost track of money they took from me.
Kept blaming about non-payment and started to de-activate my connection without prior notice.
Remember I am a customer who had been using TATA Indicom broadband for a year now.
Activated the connection Feb 15th 2007
If this is how they treat their customer who had been using it for a year, forget those new comers. Will be treated next to piece of ###.
They have damn good technology in place and BUNCH of IDIOTS to maintain their backoffice operations.
Another way they cheat customers is by not giving the downtime credit for usage.
Its like sarkari office... Working or not you still need to pay the full rent.

The same welcome tune has been subscribed into my mobile phone without any response from my side and they have also charged the same. I have purchased tata indicom mobile & I am paying cell bill regularly. One month backed, i had problem in my cell, i went to go to TATA Indicom Branch in Goregaon (W), but no any single person support me. but One time Mr. Rohit, he is incharge of Goregaon branch. we got our connection activated last month then after 2 days it was switched off saying that check has bounced, we gave money in last week of aprilbut it has not been yet reactivated, wen called up ur service provider they came and gave us a username and password that is shared between 2 people...saying that we have to use this shared connection for just 2 more days and then our parent account will again start functioning, , , , its been 10 days old story and till now neither we got our connection activated on parent account nor ur people are helping...this account was activated by mr.datta from tata indicom office from kalyani nagar pune...they have taken 5 months payment but still vwe are wihtout connection ...kindly help

yesterday, i recharged with 3 add on vouchers worth 50, one top up worth 50, and one night talk voucher of 75 from a dealer of TATA INDICOM.i knew that the 75 rs voucher gets forfeited if it is recharged before the add on voucher, thats why i sked the dealer to first recharge with add on vouchers of 50, but he first recharged with 75 voucher which ultimately got forfeited at the same time, when i called up customer service, one of the agent said that the "75 rs" voucher was active, but i was being charged normal call rates instead of voucher package rates. this is a proper way to misguide a long time customer and forfeit their money with no mistake of theirs. tell me to whom should i go now?

I got a tata land phone connection 6 months ago, am pay the deposit 500 rs and i got connection but the installation people came my home and said only small range is there am say in my room there r some range but other room r range but they go with phone and not install tata phone, then am call her sir and said but he never take action, than am send a compliant to tata compliant section but no reply r from there. Its a bludy basted service, am never use tata phone built my cash is not return before 6 months wats its tatas customer service... bludy cheep service...
I took two connection of tata indicom in which incoming free while roaming. They have changed plan without any intimation and they added the incoming charges while roaming in my bill. When i asked them they told me we cannot do anything about ur billing amount. Whenever i try to call customer care in day. Its always come busy. In online payments, they take 5-10 days. If it takes 5-10 days then what is the use of online payment. Eveytime their network busy. I am really fed up with Tata indicom. I suggest everyone not to take tata connection. These companies should be banned by TRAI.
Beware, Tata Indicom Wi Fi card becomes invalid after short usage. I had a card that was supposed to last for 2 hours. After 5 minutes use, the card balance became zero. I called customer care. They were no use. As per the customer care representative, the card was used about 3 weeks back, sometime in October. I scratched the card myself on November 15th, used it for 5 minutes (it was valid).
There may be bad cards in circulations. Or Tata Indicom is cheating people.
Will someone care to investigate it?

I am Mahendra Gondaliya, i have purchased two tata indicom mobiles on this diwali, they have announced a scheme called DIWALI BONANZA. they gave me two coupons for purchase of two mobiles. i have scratched both card on which i got 25 Rs talktime, i have filled and signed the form and they told me that I will get the talk time within 2 days credited in my balance. buty 4 days has been paseed no increment on balance. So I visited the tata indicom shop again , but they have given me rude answer. Today about 20 days has been passed , i still haven't get any talktime credited on my balance.
So beware of these type of schemes friends, also the network coverage is the big issued in tata indicom mobiles.
U can use the tata indicom directory assist to find about that number.. Call up 197 and tell them ur problem and ask for the address of the caller.. I hope this will solve ur problem. Or call up the customer care at 121 and ask them to block calls from this number. I have already used the directory assist. The services are ok there.. But i have not tried calling the customer care and blocking calls.. Its just a suggestion. Pls try it and mail me if it helps u...

I had eight telephone lines for my company from Tata Indicom. I discontinued 4 of them. But they keep billing me for those disconnected lines.
Its been more than two and half years and I made numerous complains since the past two years buts no action.
And the situation is the billing in running almost a lakh of rupees. When i call up customer service, they say they don't know how to "not bill for disconnected telephone"
What a pity, i have a call from collection agents and senior executives from Tata Indicom, who call me every month and i have to explained him every time i make a payment.

I have taken an internet connection,which is very very slow & few sites are not opening,whenever i tried to contact at koramangala office at bangalore,no body will attend the call and the executive who dealt with me never respond to my call.Also i have applied for landline connection in the month of september and i have paid all the charges by cash,still that connection has not been provided and they have not returned my money also which i have paid for landline connection.
Tata indicom sevice is very poor.I have taken a wireless landline connection in marathahalli area in bangalore.When they installed it in my apartment there was no signal and they promised to put an external antenna and for the past 1 week there is no reply from them.I tried to contact the concerned manager and his response was poor.Every day he will tell it will be done the same day and nothing happened so far.So i advice to think once more before taking connection
Tata indicom is the worst ISP. Their attitude towards their customers is unprofessional. I applied for a new broadband connection and the sales executive (Vilas Padwal: [protected]) persuaded us and convinced us that they would give us a new connection in 10 days. It's been 16 days now, so I firmly told him to return the check back and he refuses to pick up the phone. Never go for their prepaid plans, in fact, avoid this ISP. Their customer service department sucks and I wonder why they have a customer service department in the first place.
Same is the case with me... I had applied for v-card since 14 days... they promised me to deliver the same within 4 dyas... and interestingly there is no any customer support number of tata indicom where i can check my application status... gove should have any control over this...
Very bad network in basement, I had complaint many times but NO SOLUTION... still I am facing same problem..

YES YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT I MADE THE GREATEST MISTAKE OF AVAILING YOUR SERVICES. But let me inform you that I have also been a regular payer of all the bills thereafter.
I purchased a cell phone at the same time 'Samsung Hero’ @ Rs.1500/-with charger at your outlet in Udupi. This was done in the month of February 2007 as you can see in the bill. The cell phone stopped working on July 11th that also is evident by the last bill that you have sent. I went to SAI RADHA TELECOMUNICATIONS, where I bought the connection and lodged a complaint, two employees gave the phone to a technician inside another room, who informed me that they would have to send it to Mangalore for repair. NOTE: I was not given any voucher for having given the phone for repair. For the next 4 days I had no communication though I was told that I would be informed as it was a post paid connection. I repeatedly rang them up and was told that it could not be repaired at Mangalore and hence was sent to Bangalore. After that I had no communication from them except asking to pay the bill. Now I refuse to do so for the points to be noted----
1. I do not have the phone nor the charger.
2. It was post paid service I had taken so therefore why should I
pay when I dont have the cell and have not utilized it
3. The phone was not working after six month !
( ? Standard)---the reason given after 4 months (that is 10 months
later) --water had damaged it. How? I gave the cell before heavy
monsoon started & the cell is always in the department I work
locked as i get signal only at Manipal and not at Hiriadka
4. You already have my deposit of Rs.500/- & my mobile:- my gift
to 'TATA TELESERVICES'
If you take legal action as you have threatened, we have enough people who have witnessed by listening over phone and were there when your representative came and harassed us repeatedly not willing to say anything about the mobile that I had given. Escaping their responsibility by saying that it was damaged due to water you can go to consumer court and so on.
Thus I hereby refuse to have anything to do with you. You can keep the Rs 500/- deposit as payment against the bill and the mobile as a gift by me to the great TATA teleservices. I am sure by now 100s of customers would have suffered like this. God save people who become your customers.

Tata Indicom's Internet speeds are best not discussed. I have a dialup walky internet connection, and I have hit 14KB / sec once in one year! ha ha, oops I forgot to mention the time - 3 AM when the rest of the crowd were snoring I tried to get some speed. The above speed is good, but when I work in general, I can boast of a max of 5 KB / Sec.
The main problem is still there to be discussed. Its called the phone disco of disconnections.
The walky is connected via the USB port to my desktop. When connection to the internet, if I change the regulator of the fan or switch on / off a light, the connection drops. Leave aside during a power cut. I control and so does my wife control her putting on of switches, but in a place like bangalore where my window faces the bedroom of the other, how can I tell him./ her to please not switch the light on or off or fan. They do that and my connection says - disconnect zindabad.
Isn't this something really great, disco at the hands of all others around your house ... and your great misery. Now why am I still using - because with the wireless option this seems to be the best compared to hopeless services of reliance ...

i had disconnected my wife'sDelhi phone number [protected] and gave back the instrument even after that every month 3-4 calls from their billing depts. coming for payments as i had requested well before the time and they could not disconnect the phone in time and for that period i not used the phone except toll free number of their customer care requesting many times to disconnect it and they assured me that you will not be charged as your request is registered before the bill circulation date.please correct your system error and send me the recipt of last and final payment.
I was receiving one landline tata indicom phone with internet service. As i was receiving wrong information from sales executive i was decided to disconnect this connection immediately on the next day of receiving that phone, for that i was giving intimation to ur customer care for disconnection, as they said my connection was disconnected withing 15 days from the date of purchase and also sales executive was took back my phone by giving receipt and told me that i will get money back withing 15 days, since i was not getting money back i have called ur helpline and told all story but they told me that u will get ur refund back within 3 months from the date of purchase i was waiting till 3 months still i m not receiving any payment, i was purchase that instrument in September still i m waiting for my refund, can u tell me what the hell is going on, when i got my refund back?

i have applied for tata indicom walky connection at new delhi. Immediately some persons come from tata. I thought they are from tata. But afterwards i come to know that they are from ITBL Telecom Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi. They said they got request from tata to book the walky connection. So I have paid Rs.1152 for the walky connection along with all the documents. But I did not get connection and instrument. When I contaced the Tata indicom office at Connaught place, they said we are not responsi ble, you contact the private agent thorough whom you paid the money.But the ITBL Telecom Pvt. Ltd says you contact the TATA, we are not responsible. Since I approched only the Tata Tele services, and only they forwarded to ITBL Telecom Pvt.Ltd, only the Tata's are responsible. But inbetween my money is held up some where. Tata officials when I approached, their incharge Mr.Jain in connaught place office said don't allow these peple inside the office. Ask him to come again in the long que. It is the responsibility of tata to either give connection or return the money along with my documents.

Quick Summary of my experience with TATA Indicom broadband @ Chennai.
TATA Indicom broadband (VSNL) guys lost track of money they took from me.
Kept blaming about non-payment and started to de-activate my connection without prior notice.
Remember I am a customer who had been using TATA Indicom broadband for a year now.
Activated the connection Feb 15th 2007
If this is how they treat their customer who had been using it for a year, forget those new comers. Will be treated next to piece of ###.
They have damn good technology in place and BUNCH of IDIOTS to maintain their backoffice operations.
Another way they cheat customers is by not giving the downtime credit for usage.
Its like sarkari office... Working or not you still need to pay the full rent.
