Umbro sneakers..
I bought a pair of umbro sneakers at protea glen mall on the 21 january 2022..for my son.. Within 3 weeks it was peeling off infront. I took it back to de store on 23 february to complain until this day the store has not gotten back to me. The store manager said.. What do i expect from buying umbro brand.. Ita expected to be worn out within days... But i paid R300 for those sneakers for her to answer me like that

Complain about a shop in thohoyandou thavhani mall
My son visited the store in January hoping to buy something. He went to the fitting room with a trouser. While busy fitting the trouser a lady salesperson complain that he was taking along time. When he came out he was suspected of theft. He was searching in front of the other customers which is degrading a person and disrespecting a person. Nothing was found. He was wrong fully accused. Searching in the full view of other customers. I went to the store and I explained that what the did was wrong. The lady involved apologized. Theman who searched the boy was not in the store. On Sunday 27 February I went tothe store I found a store manager mpho I again explained what transpired. He did not apologise for what they did

Unfair treatment inside workplace
I've been working as P27 Shop Assistant at Tekkie Town,Botshabelo Mall 319 since 2018/01/22 up until present.
Mid last year the store had 2 vacant permant positions available but then I was overlooked. The store took P27s from another Tekkie Town store from a different Town,while they had only only joined in 2020.
Before the 2 vacancies were filled by then there were 4 P27s at Tekkie Town Botshabelo Mall 319. Only 1 was allowed to apply for the 2 available vacant posts.
Apparently in December there was 1 vacant position available. The manager did not inform us about it. We only knew about the availability of it now in January when the appointment was already been made.
To make things more saddening the 1 new vacant position is been given to a December casual who by that time had not got proper training required to be part of Tekkie Town. She only started training having already signed a permanent contract.
Desired outcome: We as the P27s we asked for a meeting with the manager since mid January 2022. Until today it has not took place.
Poor customer service
I bought Vans sneakers for my nephew yesterday 24 December 2021. When I arrived home my nephew measured the sneakers and found they are too small for him. I went back to the TEKKIE TOWN QUEENSTOWN branch which is where I bought them today 25 December 2021 for an exchange of size 4 Vans sneakers. When I got to the store the cashier who was assisting me showed the sneakers to the manager who was next to him on the counter. The manager did not even greet me or look at me, she said they are damaged. She can not accept them. I asked what was damaged about the sneakers, she showed me the foot dust that was at the back of the sneakers. I asked if I can wipe the dust and return them, she did not answer. I explained to her that I don't have money to buy other ones and it's Christmas the child must wear them today. She came out and said, it's none of her business and she doesn't care. I then went out asked someone who is selling on the street to give me something I can wipe the dust with. I wiped them and went back. When I got there after maybe 15 minutes she was not at the store. She came back with potato chips and other food stuff. I waited for her while she was busy eating her potato chips behind the counter. After she was done, I went to her to check if they were now fine. She said nothing just asked me which size do I want I told her I want size 4. She asked one sales person lady to pick them up for me. The lady came back with them, the sales person lady checked the sneakers that I brought and said they are weat. The manager answered by saying she is letting it slide because of this stupid Christmas if it was any day she would not accept them. The sales person lady said customers are like that they return damaged goods (bazogxidisa ubuso apha). I could not hold my tears I just cried. I have never experienced such poor service from a service provider. I am never ever coming back to their store.
Desired outcome: I would like tekki town to train their manager and staff on excellent customer service and all those who were rude to me to face displinary hearing.

My name is Borsh Nelson vuma ID no [protected] i made a layby at tekkie town Tonga mall apparently the size were incorrect.it was for my son, he's not staying with me. I'm in mpumalanga and he stays in Johannesburg with his mother.when i go back to the store asking for an exchange they do change the item but when i went home one foot didn't fits in.i go back again the service was not nice she eventually not giving me a slip stating that they don't do exchange for the second time.i didn't have a choice to choose what i exactly want because the lady was not happy that i change for the second time.
Im not happy about the service because i have something i don't like

Incorrectly price
When we arrived at Tekkie Town at Galleria Mall Amanzimtoti the Assistant showed us the shelf that was on sale for R350 for 2pairs and when we arrived at the teller it was R500 for 2 pairs, we bought 6 pairs and they didn't want to give it at for us at the price they said, and they were absolutely terrible about the whor scenario, me as the customer, that have been shopping at Tekkie town for a long time, are not happy about this at all

Good day.. My name is Sylvina. This morning 28/11/2021 I went to tekkie town Eikestad mall stellenbosch. I saw the Reebok Royal CLjog prices at R499. 99. I gave the box with tekkies to the sales guy Marvin, told him I'll be right back to collect. Came back 5 minutes later, then saw price is changed to R749. 00. Apparently the pricing was wrong on the box. My question is.. How is that my problem? Isn't it the customer's right to get goods at price advertised? Spoke to the manager of Tekkie town stellenbosch and she blatantly told me with an attitude, I was suppose to buy the tekkie 5 minutes ago. I'm not saying the customer is always right.. Coz I also work in retail, and the customer is not always right, but to change a price in less then 5 minutes? Where is the customer right? You can clearly see on the picture the price been ripped off fast.
Desired outcome: I want the tekkie for R499. 99 as advertised..
Service am complaining about
On Saturday of 30 October 2021 I have visited the takkie town store in mookgophong naboomspriut in order to make a laybuy of shoes, when I needed to pay the cashier who was supposed to help me started shouting and said that if it is a laybuy she is not going to help me, I felt humiliated in front of other customers as if I am not going to pay for the product and she even left the till to show that she mean what she was saying, I was so embarrassed, that was the worst service in store the was no smile no friendly, the gesture was very bad I don't even feel like going bck to the store again.
Desired outcome: I will like the cashier to personally come and apologize to me, and if she can not futher action must be taken against her as an employee.

( store manager) she is very rude and she doesn't have manners too . she even threw her hand at me WHO DOES THAT TO A CUSTOMER. she was so impatient with me and didnt wanna refund me shoes that i bought at another store she came with lame excuses, and told me to go back to the store i bought the shores from which is takkie town in kempton park. i am not happy with the embarrassment caused by her stinking attitude. She also told me she doesn't care if i can report her, i am not the only customer who adds food on her table. wow...

My name is Jessica masete [protected]. I was at tekkie town thohoyandou ado pepkor 053 today doing shopping. No one was assisting me at the moment so I was assisting myself looking for the size of addidas pushin. Here comes a lady called kombetse and said that am not allowed to open boxes in a rude manner. I tell her that the reason of opening the boxes is because no one is assisting me and there is no notice. She said I must not teach her how to do her job. I tell her that I dnt like her tone can she please ask someone to come and assist me, she replied and said I must look for them myself. Your staff must stop treating us like rubbish whereas we are using our money to buy an item that we can buy somewhere else but we choose to buy in your store. We are not stealing we are buying. You must displine that lady and give her training on how to assist customers. She so disrespectful telling me she have no energy of talking to me because am younger than her. Just imagine.

Tekkie town staff was very rude and I think that the staff should be suspended from work they treat customers rudely the one I went to is at quagga mall the staff their were extremely rude they had absolutely no respect I asked to exchange my shoes for a different kind and they looked at me as if I was crazy they argued and were disrespectful. I bought a shoe in 26 July 2021 but on the 26 August the shoe just tear on the side I payed R499 for this shoe.I am disappointed as I paid a lot of money.I hope you can resolve this.

Poor customer service
I purchased 2 pairs for VANS on 25/06/2021. I was unsure of the sizes and told the sales person that I may return over a few weeks. I then went instore on 18/07/2021 and at this stage didn't have the slip with me, I was told to return when i find the slip so they can " see what they can do" . I then found the slip and decided to take the one pair on 21/07/2021, this was exchanged for a smaller size and a copy of my slip was returned and misplaced again. I went back into the store to ask if there is any way of reprinting the slip considering i know the date purchased. The store manager confirmed that this can be done then looked at the shoes and decided that its been worn. After all the back and forth nobody, not even the person at point of sale looked at that shoes and only because my transaction requires a little work, they've decided that its been used. The shoes are in the exact same condition as it was when purchased yet i was refused a refund.
Desired outcome: All I want is to change the size 4 to a size 3 because I would have no use for it .
Adidas shoe
Bought a pair of shoes on Wednesday (07/07) & discovered the sole was loose on Thursday (08/07). Tried returning/ exchanging it on Friday (09/07) but could not find my receipt so i acquired a bank statement. Simply wanted a straight exchange as I've done before @ one your other branhces but was unable to get this rectifies. The store clerk that assisted me was extremely rude & kept escalating her voice as I was explaining to her. Have never experienced such unprofessional conduct from any other Tekkie Town

The shoes I bought at tekkie town in atlantis was too small for my daughter so I went to exchange it for a bigger size and they can't help me because I didn't have the box anymore so actually I payed for the box and not the shoes I want my money back please its almost 2months now. I purchased a bag from the store which is r450 and the purchase was done on the 13th of february clearly its a manufacturing error the store requires us to wait fill in a form and wait for feedback when the bag was purchased I paid cash what nonsense is this, the cash refund policy should be available within 7 days if I wanted a cheaper bag with terrible quality I would have purchased it from a different store clearly the people who works in the store is very unprofessional as they want to compare themselves to a customer that is terrible service I am very unhappy as I need my bag to be refunded or swapped immediately I want a response or I will purchase a add within the paper to inform people of the poor service I have received I request to be called back [protected]

Yesterday and it was small so today at 15h 50 the person I was sent to exchange was told that the manager is not around and it not known when he will be around so thats mean the person had to go back.. I went to tekkie town in eersteriver, I wanted to laybye a nike shoe for my son. The label on the shoe showed a price of r750. When I got to the till the assistant manager came to the till she diesnt greet me. I told her I want to make a labye she asked for my id and contact number. When she printed the slip I saw the cost of the nike shoe is now r850? Why? So I told her to have a look at the shoe's label and she just replied"if you gonna pay cash I can change this price, if its on labye its r850"what why? I asked her, she said she cant change the price if its on labye. I found this to be extremely unprofessional, how can yoy be a assistant manager but you dont know how your system works! My pint is im still interested in this shoe for r750 please let me know if you xan assist.
