On Saturday, I went to Tekkie town in Chatsworth center. They had a Nike Tekkies for R1399.00 with a further 10% discount if you have a plus more card which I do have, which makes the price R1259.00. At the paying counter, the worker says there is no discount for the Tekkies. This is false advertising and the store is providing misleading information. They refused to give me the Tekkies at the price it was advertised for (R1259.00). Before payment, I asked if that's the correct price, and they confirmed it was. Then later changed their words, stating it we as an error on the system.

You caught Tekkie Town in a clear case of false advertising. Confirming the discount and then refusing to honor it is a poor way to treat customers. They should have stood by their word instead of hiding behind a "system error." Hopefully, they correct this and make sure it doesn’t happen to others.
