paducah, ky location, food prep, missing items and overall service
My husband and I eat at TX Roadhouse frequently. We eat here at least 3+ times a month. We have been to many other locations. Our experience is that the food is always great, service very good, and it's an enjoyable experience wherever we eat. We went to the Paducah, KY location on Saturday night, Sep 22 at 5:20 pm. We didn't have call ahead seating, and it was crowded, so we expected a wait. When they seated us, they didn't have any clean forks, so we were seated with a basket of rolls, and nothing else. I ordered a prime rib medium well, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the ribs, a baked potato, and applesauce. His drink order was water with lemon. (He got just plain water.) It was a wait to get our silverware and napkins. We never got the serving plates for the rolls. My 12 oz prime rib was no more than a 10 oz., had a lot of gristle, and was very well done. I didn't get my broccoli. When it came, it looked burnt, and I didn't eat it. The rolls were lukewarm, and the server refilled my tea glass from a pitcher. We were very, very disappointed. We will never go back to that location again.
meal was not too warm and they did not put extra sour cream in the bag.
I place the order for carry out over the phone. Asked for Extra sour cream for potato which was not warm and was burnt on the outside, stiff on the inside. They gave me 1/2 a small cup of sour cream. Very disappointed. However they gave me 3 butters. They went through the order with me. Said the extras were in the paper bag but did not take them out. I was more interested in the salmon being norweigan. Which the manager looked into and said yes it is norweigan in which he was right. When I got home I could see it in the light. After he pointed it out to me he kind of ignored me. I had asked him another question or two but he did not answer. I had asked for extra ceasar dressing and extra croutons in which they had to go back to the kitchen for more croutons. They had only given me about 7. I would rate this type of service to be about a 7. Due to the potato 1/2 very small cup of sour cream and lousy management.
texas roadhouse steak sauce quality control violation
Tonight, dining in, I observed a waitress at the next table, combining the contents of one house brand steak sauce bottle to another. Checked the bottle at my table and discovered that it has an expiration date, on the label. Summoned manager, who was the food manager in the kitchen. Showed him the expiration date, described the waitress. who he spotted behind me at a waitress station, and asked me to confirm if that was she: yes, dark hair, pony tail, light colored skin, and ball cap. I explained that the act made his job of quality control impossible, as now, he has no idea what the expiration date of any of his steak sauce bottles might be... Suggested he address it at a staff meeting. He went straight to the waitress station, and followed her into the kitchen. Fortunately, as I told him, had a city inspector seen the act? or a liquor control board officer- and had a bartender done that with liquor bottles? Then, he would have a HUGE problem. Kudos to manager for prompt action. Corporate? FIX this, please
food
Hello my fiance and I frequent your restaurant on weekends usually on Friday night. We like your restaurant I usually get the prime rib and he usually gets the ribeye . However this weekend we went on a Sunday and we were very disappointed. My prime rib was unevenly cooked. It was dry and not tender like it usually is. Also it's not hot nor was my baked potato. We went there around 7:30 and the restaurant closes at 9:30. The place wasn't very busy but the wait staff was scarce.
I guess Sunday isn't the time to go.

manager conduct
As a frequent customer of the Springfield, Ohio Texas Roadhouse, I have to voice a concern regarding the conduct of one of your managers. I have witnessed manager Paige bullying the younger employees in front of customers and peers on numerous occasions. I have witnessed her degrading these kids for doing their jobs for various reasons. I even heard her discipline a young man for working too hard. I am bringing this matter to your attention because of how inappropriate this conduct is. As a paying customer who is only trying to enjoy my meal, her conduct disrupts my relaxing time. I feel that she not only lacks interpersonal communication skills but also management skills. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
our ribeys were not cooked the way we wanted them. nt to mention the service was awful.
Me and my husband came in Monday to haveing poor service and our Ribeys not being cooked the way we wanted.Im full of disguts and payed good money to eat there...I and my husband love eating there. We haven't had any problems till this time.Im affraid to say they could certainly loose our biz .I know between our drinks and the steaks we paid way over $80.00.I rarley complain but that upsets me that our fav place to eat has burnt us.
service
Well this is not exactly a bad thing we had a server named ZACH and he was GREAT the best server we have ever had at any restaurant. And we eat out often. And at a lot of Texas Roadhouse through out the US.He needs to teach a class about customer service. He was spot on with refills saw that I had moved my salad aside and my husband put one of his chillies next to it and asked if we needed boxes to go did not have to ask he paid atention to what was going on at the table He also brought to our attention the add on ribs which were great that is why we needed to go boxes. We were at the 8865 southern blvd Palm Beach FL location Again thank you ZACH
inappropriate relations
A few managers have engaged in a couple of inappropriate relations with employees at Texas Roadhouse in the Odessa area. As known, managers are not supposed to engage in any type of outside social relations with employees but the managers at Texas Roadhouse fail to abide by this specific rule. There has been Sexual and Social relations between a couple of managers and employees at this specific location and it has come to my attention that it is a problem and will continue to be a reoccurring problem. Alek, John Delgado, and Jimmaily Falcon are those managers who don't follow this specific rule, from drinking with co-workers to sexual encounters with employees. Is this how a Texas Roadhouse organization staff is to be ran by favoritism because of outside work relations? I question their Integrity as to how they can do so and get away with it. Enough is enough.
wait time, food mixups, service with attitude
We reserved ahead of time with the app. When we arrived, the girl stated we need to wait another 5-10 minutes. I said okay. 30 minutes went by and I'm angry, telling my husband that this is unacceptable. Why reserve ahead of time if we are gonna sit here? The guy next to me stated that he's in the same boat. I go up and I'm told she lost us on the wait list. Both parties! Now, that girl had been looking at me and when I would make I contact, she'd duck her head and turn away from me. She knew! We are seated immediately because the manager took care of that. We get our orders in. The salads come out and my salad is not what I ordered. I ordered a Caesar salad and received a garden salad. They take that one away and I'm thinking, is this going to be the way this nights gonna go? Yes. Yes, it was. I got the right one brought to me. When our dinner was brought out, me and our son's dinner was correct, but my husbands was not - at all. It had the wrong type of steak and potato. He just stared at it and looked at me. I pointed at his plate and said that isn't his. The lady that brought it wasn't our waitress. She got an attitude with me and acted like she couldn't understand me and was all huffy. I said that he did not order that. She, then, ignored me and was like, (huff) Uh, Sir, WHAT did you order? (Huff) He gets aggregated and points at my plate and says the exact same thing as her, but rare. She proceeds to snatch the plate up (huffs), says okay and walks off. Our server is there at this point and is apologetic stating she will get this corrected and tell the manager. He got his dinner, finally. We were so upset, we took over half our dinner home. We couldn't enjoy our meal. The manager was like because of your wait time and because of the mix up in his dinner, the appetizer will be free. I'm thinking, don't flip out. We get the check and the waitress was embarrassed. Stated the manager also gave a "slight" discount to his portion of the dinner. She took off the appetizer and $10 off his dinner that he had to wait an additional 15 minutes to receive because of their mixup. I'm beyond disgusted with Texas Roadhouse. I tried to call and complain at corporate, but they of course aren't open, except Monday through Friday. I will be on the phone with corporate tomorrow.
product/ service
To whom it may concern, my family and I went to Texas Roadhouse in Macon, Ga on 8/24/18 to celebrate my cousin's graduation. We had a party of 13. It was my 3rd time going there. I ordered a frozen margarita off of the drink menu. When the server brought the drink back to the table, it looked nothing like the picture and it was in a beer mug. I took 2 sips and I said to the server, the drink tasted like it had a lot of salt in it. She stated well you have salt around the rim..I said maam, the drink shouldn't taste salty..I asked could I get a tea since I couldn't drink the margarita, she rolled her eyes and said all alcoholic drinks sales are final. I said maam if I knew there were stipulations on drink orders, I never would have ordered it. A She went to get the manager on duty. H e came to the table and said that I was stuck with drink..I asked could they take the drink and fix it over, he said he would have to charge me for another drink..So, I ended up paying for a drink that I couldn't drink. He told me signs are all over the restaurant saying drink sales are final. The server didn't state at all that All sales were final on drink sales when I ordered the drink..she told me after the drink made it to the table. On the menu, there are no mentioning of all drink sales are final..It says please drink responsibly. The manager excused himself after he pointed to the signs that says alcohol sales are final. That was my first time ordering an alcoholic beverage at your restaurant. I ordered the grilled shrimp dinner and a to go dinner for my husband.. When my family and I began to checkout. My to go meal wasn't ready, the server states she didn't know how much longer it was going to be..I asked do she mind checking on it d/ t we were ready to go..she went and came back and said 4 mins..I ended up waiting another 15mins. She never came back to say what the status was on the meal, I'm sorry for your wait. She said nothing.. I hadn't checked out at all. I told the server, I will pay for the meals when I get the to go cause I didn't know whether I was ever going to get my to go meal. I didn't want no problems. After I didn't hear anything nor did she return to give me the status on my food. I proceeded to the front to the hostess register and asked could she check me out...the server walked up with the meal in a bag, she said she meaning me- wanted to pay for food when she got her to go meal. She nor the hostess said, we are sorry for your wait. I had to ask for to go plastic ware. I would like to Express how I was displeased with your staff customer service from the server to the manager. I felt deceived with the whole alcoholic drink situation. I understand that rules and regulations are in place for a reason. It is not fair to the customer with the way you have it set up for drink sales. Had the server mentioned in the beginning before I placed the drink order then I couldn't say anything, but she said it afterwards. There is nothing on your menus about the drink rule, but your staff says they have it on their walls. How many people really pay attention to the walls of your restaurant? Customers usually come in..order..eat/drink..and leave. I really pray and hope the staff in the Macon, Ga store improve their customer service skills. They need to understand it doesn't take but one displeased person to cause this business to shut down. I really think your policy should be revised to more customer friendly, not staff friendly.. Thanks,
Sharon B . Rouse

My daughter works at Texas Roadhouse as a server. She is constantly harassed by another female server. All my daughter is trying to do is provide for her 3 month old son. But this other server has harasses her to the point where she has put in her two week notice. As other has quit because of one girl named Kelsey Mitchum. Now nobody should have to dread going to work but this girl makes it impossible for anybody to enjoy doing their job. My daughter s name is Samantha Murrah and I m her mother. Deb. It's a shame she has to quit because it's unbearable for her to go to work. The best thing I think to do is get rid of the problem meaning Kelsey Mitchum. Thank you for your time.
Texas Roadhouse get rid of Kelsey Mitchum
Since your daughter can't even write her own complaint on the internet, I can see how she would let herself be pushed around by someone else. She needs to get a backbone if she's going to make it in this world.
management
Hello, I recently was working with Texas Roadhouse in Mesa, Arizona, and i wanted to reach out to whomever to regard my experience and transfer to the store. When I first arrived, everyone was very welcoming and extremely nice to me, which I appreciated. However, the longer I worked there, which wasn't very long, I began to notice a sense of favoritism as well as blatantly being pointed out as an outsider. I did my very best to go on with my job and be the best server I could until it began to be too much. The managers were cold and utterly rude to me in every aspect. I became the sore thumb but only because they had made it appear that way. Upon me leaving the position, I was pulled into the office and screamed at for my actions. My actions such as "asking too many stupid questions" or "being stupid and/or lazy". The managing partner of the store said he "made a mistake transferring me there and he was doing me a favor" which I didn't totally agree with. I understand there is a level of respect as a server I must give my higher authorities, however, I felt extremely uncomfortable and unhappy at this store. With that being said, Texas Roadhouse in Boardman, Ohio, where I first worked, was absolutely amazing. They have a great staff and managing team and I would recommend anyone I know to their store. I was just writing because I felt as though I needed to express my thoughts and say something about how I felt working there. Thank you for your time.
management
several months ago my wife and I were in the Sandusky Ohio store. we notice a bar manager not doing her job. basically being a "[censored]" ( I have a degree in management). I contacted the store and the so called general manger said ok and gave us a $15 coupon.. I did not call for a coupon but ok. then after a few months my wife was in there with her friends and saw basically the came bar manger being a "[censored]" .
After that I contacted the general manager by email and told him to take his "coupon" and shove it where the sun don't shine.
I have to say between the poor management, and inconsistency of the food, my wife and I will not be back. As for our friends well they are not to happy either..
thank you
Michael
dinner on august 8, 2018, in tyler, texas
There was no sugar/sweetener on table and we has to request it numerous times. Same with black pepper. Finally diner across the aisle gave us her pepper shaker as she was leaving. Tea refills were sparse. Steak did not taste right and no manager checked. We requested missing items at least 3 times each. My husband had to get up and search out a waitress for assistance. We have eaten at a Texas Roadhouse numerous times and have never encountered a problem before. Didn't even have silverware.
no service waiting time
Waited a little over 1 hour and a half. ( even though they said waiting time would be 25-35 min. )Usually we come here to celebrate. We were a party of 12. Its raining and here we are waiting to be seated. Just for the staff to say sorry we can't handle more orders due to the rain. It was raining before so I dont know why an hour and a half they think. So we leave with really no place to go with a party of 12. Who were looking forward to celebrate here. Now here I'm feeling embarrassed hungry already 9pm. When we were here about 745 PM.
service
Horrible service! I have been to this place so many times and never had bad service. I waited for my food to come out about 30 minutes. The manager even noticed and adjusted my bill. I could not find my waiter have the time. She never came over to apologize or let me know what was going on. When my food finally came out they forgot my green beans and I had to flag someone down to get them. My food was awesome just the service sucked!
boynton beach location
On Sunday, July 29, 2018 my family and I (party of 20+) stopped in to your Boynton Beach, Florida location to celebrate my 21st birthday.
Midway between dinner I visited the restroom, on my way back to my table apparently there was wasted food on the floor and I slipped and fell. My toe bent back further than natural and I also hurt my leg.
A server rushed over and asked if I was ok and if I needed ice. I took the ice and returned to my table. Mother asked why I was limping and I explained to her what happened. She requested to speak with a manager to file an accident report and after several minutes we were advised that the manager was to busy to come speak to us.
Towards the end of our dinner, my cousin and I went searching for the manager ourselves to advise if what happened. He simply provided a business card and advised that and accident report would be completed the next day. I have since been trying to reach out to the manager to obtain a copy of the report and I have yet to hear back from anyone, giving me reason to believe that it was never done.
I will be seeking medical attention and would appreciate a response and/or report to provide to my doctor.
Thank you kindly,
Gakira Lazier

food
7/28/18 we were having supper at the texas roadhouse. We ordered prime rib. When food was delivered to our table, the food was awful. It smelled like soiled meat. When our meal was replaced, the rest of our party had finished their meal. My husband has ptsd and could not eat. Although they credited the change of price on our ticket, there was no compensation for all the problems.
server stealing a tip off a gift card
My husband and I are regular customers eating at Texas Roadhouse once a week. We usually buy gift cards at Christmas time. Last week we used a gift card with $25.38 left on it and had the receipt with the balance circled as well as our servers name clearly at the top. After finishing our dinner we paid our bill with the gift card only to find out there was only $10.38 left on the card. We had the managesr check on the computer with our receipt from the last visit and discovered the server wrote herself a $15 tip AFTER we left. We were shocked that a server would be able to steal money from a customer in that manner. The manager admitted that she had taken the money and returned what had been taken from us in a gift certificate. Shouldn't there be a safeguard in place to prevent this from happening to future customers? I doubt that most customers keep track of their balances on their gift cards the way that we do. Shouldn't a server who has taken money this way be fired? I am not at all convinced that this was her first time. Are we not owed compensation for this brazen act of theft by your employee? (Perhaps a new $100 gift card?)
