On 7/16/23 around 5PM, me and my fiancé visit this location at a minimum of once per month. Our favorite meal to order is ft worth ribeye and we always split it. On many occasions we order and they split our steak before it comes to the table because he likes well done and like medium… sometimes the server will tell us it’s easier just to order medium and...

On 6/28/2023 I ordered the bone in ribeye dinner, medium well, no char. Salad, and green beans. The steak came charred and cooked more well then Medium well. The waitress came back with the steak asking and explaining that the grill marks would be on the steak. I agreed that the marks would be present but I specifically ordered no char! The manager...

My name is Michael and my wife and I visited the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Kirkwood Missouri on June 24th 2023 at around 3:15 pm. Texas Roadhouse is by far one of my favorite restaurants. I love the food and have always had very good to excellent service. So I take no pleasure in relating this to you. The waitress we had was named Nikki. She had stated...

We went to this location and they wasn’t busy. We ordered a appetizer and our drinks. After 20 minutes we get our drinks. After 50 minutes they bring us the appetizer after we cancelled it due to the long wait. One hour we get our meal! The steaks were well done when we asked for medium rare! Never received our green beans and once we got them they were...

Texas Roadhouse The overall atmosphere due to the heat inside because the a/c was not working.

My wife and I went in the Texas Roadhouse in Conroe, Texas by route 105 store #214. We went on Fathers Day, June 18th, 2023. It was over 102 degrees outside when we set foot in the establishment sat down and ordered at the bar. I said to my wife that it seemed HOT inside. The lady working at the bar said that the A/C was not working and won’t get fixed until after they close. I started noticing that how is this place even open. If were 102 outside it was HOTTER inside. The cooks in the back had T-shirts over their heads and the steaks remained in the front case where you pick your own steak. At the end of the meal I didn’t even finish my meal asked for the check and asked for the military discount. The waitress called the manager who told her we weren’t honoring the military discount tonight on Fathers Day. I said that there are 4 pieces of paper on the door that said that they wouldn’t honor coupons but would honor the military discount. In the end we just paid full price for the $71.50 meal as we were frustrated with this overall experience. When we left we noticed that someone had just gotten sick at the entrance to the door outside. We then left.

Desired outcome: Please refund the meal of 71.50. I’d appreciate a response.

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse: Long Wait, Rushed Service, and Uninvited Guest

We were told that we would have to wait for 15 to 20 minutes before we could be seated at Texas Roadhouse. We were okay with that, but after waiting for 20 minutes, we saw several parties being seated before us. We were a party of two and it was already 5:15 pm. My husband went up to the hostess and asked about our wait time. We were immediately seated after that. There were four empty booths that could have accommodated two people each, so we were wondering why we had to wait for 35 minutes.

When our waiter came, we gave him our orders and everything came to the table all at once. I didn't even get my liquor order until after I got my salad. I only took five bites of my salad when our steaks arrived. The waiter plopped those down with the bill and we never saw him again until he came to pick up my payment. We asked another waitress for my husband's steak sauce, but our waiter never offered us more rolls. It felt like we were being rushed to get out of there.

To make matters worse, I found a baby roach crawling up the menus and showed it to my husband. His comment was, "Oh well, he won't eat much," and he flipped it off onto the floor. After a long day at Duke, I just wanted a nice relaxing meal, but this was not that by any means. This visit was so not relaxing, and it was not what I expected from a higher-end restaurant.

I used to really like this place, but not anymore. I will think twice about ever dining here again after a long tiring day. There are too many other places to eat without taking this chance again!

Texas Roadhouse Disgusting Experience at Texas Roadhouse: Dirty Table, Fatty Steak, and Salty Burger with No Remorse from Staff

So, I went to Texas Roadhouse the other day and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. The hostess took us to a table that was still dirty and being cleaned. I used to work as a hostess and that is a big no no! On top of that, the person seating us had a cold and was not wearing a mask. She even had the audacity to bring us a bread basket to eat from!

I ordered an 8oz steak and it was fatty, which has never happened before in all the years I have been going to this franchise. The food tasted off and the sweet tea was watery and not sweet at all. Even the peach tea, which was supposed to be naturally sweet, was not good. My daughter ordered a burger and it was supposed to be medium, but they made it well instead. It was also very salty. We were on a tight schedule and very hungry, so we ate what we could, but we didn't finish. This is the first time this has ever happened to us at Texas Roadhouse. When our server finally came back around, we expressed our disappointment and asked her to tell the cook. All we got was a weak "sorry" from the chef through our server. It seems like COVID brain is a real issue for some workers now. They just have a "not my problem" mentality.

I was taking a break from cooking and wanted to treat my daughter and myself to a nice dinner, but this was an epic fail. I left feeling more than dissatisfied, I was full on disgusted. I didn't even bother to talk to the manager because she looked like she didn't even know what day it was. I paid my bill, left a minimal tip, and bounced! I was just feeling totally disgusted.

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse: Poor Customer Service and Dirty Plates

Me and my family have been going to Texas Roadhouse for a while now, and we usually go on Sundays. This time, I made sure to get there early so we could get a table. When we got there, we had to wait outside because the lady at the door said we had to wait until our table was ready. I was confused because we've been there a lot of Sundays and this has never happened before. She said they had to make sure our rolls, silverware, and everything else was already at the table. I thought they should already have tables ready and set up because Texas Roadhouse is always busy, especially on Sundays when there are big parties of people.

So we waited outside while the lady let all the other people in that were behind us. After several minutes, we walked inside and talked to a lady who I think was a manager because she had a button-up shirt on. We explained to her that we normally get seated right away, but she wasn't very friendly and didn't seem to care about our concerns. I was disappointed because I value good customer service and appreciate when businesses show they care about their customers. I would much rather give my money to Chili's or Ruby Tuesday because at least they would appreciate our business.

Finally, we were seated, but when I looked at the plates to give my kids rolls and butter, I noticed that they were dirty. Some had dried food on them and others looked greasy like they hadn't been washed properly. This was really disappointing because I expect clean plates when I go out to eat.

Overall, I was not very happy with my experience at Texas Roadhouse this time. I hope they can improve their customer service and cleanliness in the future because I do enjoy their food and would like to continue going there.

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse: Clueless Server and Poorly Cooked Steaks

Went to Texas Roadhouse on August 17, 2021 with a group of five. We arrived at 6:15 and were seated promptly. Our server came to our table to take our drink order, but unfortunately, she seemed to be a bit clueless about the beverages. From ice tea to beer, she had no idea what she was doing. We waited for our drinks for quite some time, and when she finally came back, she took our order. This was another fiasco. We all ordered steaks and told our server our steak cooking preference. However, it was once again evident that she was clueless about the menu and the difference regarding how steaks should be cooked.

Three of our party ordered medium rare steaks, one was ordered medium, and I ordered a filet to be cooked well done. When the meal arrived, the porterhouse steak that was ordered medium rare was very well done. My filet, ordered well done, had barely been heated on the grill. The porterhouse cooked well done instead of medium rare was returned for a new steak to be cooked medium rare. I sent my steak back to be made right, to be put back on the grill to be cooked to well done. The porterhouse that was sent back for a new one came cooked a proper medium rare. However, my filet I returned to be cooked to well done came back to me burnt to a crisp on the outside and still rare when I cut into it.

I talked to the manager, but he couldn't understand why I was upset about how my steak had been returned to me. At this point, we paid our bill and left. This made the third of the last five meals we have eaten there that have been horrible. We don't know if we will ever go back to the Tuscaloosa Texas Roadhouse!

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse Kissimmee: Poor Cleanliness and Aggressive Manager

My recent visit to Texas Roadhouse in Kissimmee left me feeling disappointed and disgusted. Upon being seated, I noticed that there was a significant amount of trash on the seat and under the table. As I looked into the kitchen, I saw that it was in a similar state, with food and rubbish strewn all over the place. It was clear that the staff had not been keeping up with cleaning and maintenance.

I decided to bring this to the attention of the manager, Melody. However, instead of taking my feedback constructively, she became extremely defensive and aggressive. She told me that I should not dine there again if I had a problem with the restaurant's cleanliness. I was shocked by her response and felt that she had completely missed the point of my feedback.

As a result of this experience, I have decided to take Melody's advice and not return to Texas Roadhouse. It is disappointing to see such poor management and customer care skills from someone in a leadership position. Melody's behavior has certainly destroyed any loyalty I had to the brand.

I would strongly suggest that the owner of Texas Roadhouse find a professional manager who can run the restaurant properly and provide excellent customer service. Melody clearly has a lot to learn and her aggressive tendencies are not conducive to a positive dining experience. I feel sorry for the staff who have to work with her and hope that changes are made soon.

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse: Slow Service, Cold Food, and Poor Atmosphere

Texas Roadhouse used to be a great place to grab a quick bite to eat with fast service and a good atmosphere. However, my recent experience was quite disappointing. When we arrived, we had to wait for some people to leave before we could sit down. After finally sitting down, we were told that we needed to go back out in the rain to our car and wait for another half hour. Once we came back in, we had trouble getting close enough to the check-in to let them know we were there.

After finally being seated, we waited for over half an hour before anyone came over to take our order. We had to ask someone to find our waitress, and when she finally arrived, we filled her in on what the manager had already done. We were able to get our salads pretty quickly since the manager had put in that request, but then we waited for over half an hour for our food to arrive.

When our food finally arrived, it was cold and we had to ask the waitress to take it back to the kitchen to be reheated. The manager came over and took our food, but we had to wait another 15 minutes before we could ask the cashier how much our two salads were. She handed us a small menu and told us to look for it ourselves.

Overall, our experience at Texas Roadhouse was disappointing and we won't be eating there again. The waitress did say she would talk to the manager before we got our bill, but we were tired of waiting and left $10 at the register for our two salads. It's a shame that this place has changed so much.

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Service and Overcharging at Texas Roadhouse: A Review

Me and my family went to Texas Roadhouse yesterday, on Sunday, December 19th, 2020. We ordered some Original Margheritas without the sour mix and a 1800 shot of tequila, as we don't like it too sweet. But our waiter gave us a hard time and we had to call for the manager, Christina, who said she was the owner. She gave us a new server and said it was no problem. But when we got the bill, we saw that she charged us $14.00 for each cocktail, which should have been $9.50. She never told us it would be more money, and when we asked her why, she said they had to put in more alcohol to fill up the glass, which was now loaded with ice. But it tasted weak, and we were not happy. Christina got loud and started arguing with us, which was not a good look for her. We told her that we had no problem at the Deerpark location last week, and our waitress was great. But she called us liars and even called the other location to check if they did the same thing. The whole experience was awful, and she even threatened to call the police. We paid the bill just to end the craziness.

I have to say, I was disappointed with the service at Texas Roadhouse. It's not like we were asking for something impossible. We just wanted a simple drink without the sour mix. And when we had an issue with the bill, Christina was not helpful at all. She charged us more without telling us, and then argued with us when we questioned it. It was embarrassing, and other diners were looking at us. I don't think we'll be going back to this location anytime soon. It's a shame, because we had a great experience at the Deerpark location. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and we had no issues with the bill. I wish the same could be said for this location.

Texas Roadhouse Mixed Feelings: My Experience at Texas Roadhouse

My experience at Texas Roadhouse was a bit of a letdown. Don't get me wrong, the food was scrumptious and the staff was simply amazing. However, the night started off on the wrong foot when we walked in and saw peanut shells scattered all over the floor. None of the staff seemed to care about it, which was a bit of a turn-off for me. I mean, I was tempted to grab a broom and start cleaning up myself!

After dinner, my disappointment reached an all-time high. It was my sister's birthday, and I was expecting her to ride a real horse. But to my dismay, they brought out a fake horse with a saddle. I mean, seriously, Texas Roadhouse should not set such high expectations for their customers if they're not planning on delivering the real deal. I don't know how this issue hasn't been brought up before. They should at least have a sign on the door that says "No real horses inside," and I would have gone to the next steakhouse down the street.

But wait, it gets worse. When we left, the parking lot was covered in snow! I mean, come on, Texas Roadhouse, you should consider the weather before asking customers to come out. It's not only dangerous but also impolite. And if I had known there was no valet, I would have parked closer. A sign that says "No valet" would have been helpful. By the time I reached my car, I was already hungry again.

Overall, I had mixed feelings about my experience at Texas Roadhouse. The food and staff were great, but the peanut shells on the floor, the fake horse, and the lack of consideration for the weather and parking situation left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they can improve on these issues in the future.

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse in Marietta, GA: Order Delayed for Over an Hour

I went to Texas Roadhouse in Marietta, GA on September 16, 2021, and I ordered my food online for pickup at around 6:10 P.M. I was excited to try their delicious food, and I waited patiently for about 15 minutes before I left to pick it up. When I arrived, I followed their instructions and announced that I had arrived. However, I received a text message that my order was not ready yet. I was a little disappointed, but I decided to wait for another 20 minutes.

After waiting for more than 30 minutes, I still had not received my order, so I went inside the restaurant to inquire. I spoke to an assistant manager who told me that my order was coming up next. I watched as several orders were delivered to other customers, but my order was still not ready. I waited for more than an hour, and I was getting frustrated. Finally, I decided to cancel my order and leave. The assistant manager apologized and said that my credit card charge would be canceled.

When I got home without any food, I called the general manager of the restaurant to make sure that my credit card charge was canceled. I also wanted to express my displeasure with what happened. The general manager was defensive and seemed oblivious to what happened. He said something about their practice of "staggering" orders when they were busy, which made no sense to me. He said that they would issue a credit to my card, but they did not. He gave me a sarcastic "Have a nice day" and hung up.

Believe it or not, at 7:30 P.M., I received a text message that my order was ready. I was shocked and disappointed. I have dined at this restaurant with my family and friends on several occasions in the past, but this experience was terrible. I will not be going back to this customer unfriendly business.

Texas Roadhouse Disappointing Experience at Texas Roadhouse in Sandy, Utah: Cold Food, Poor Service, and Tasteless Shrimp

This meal we had at Texas Roadhouse in Sandy, Utah was not the best. My husband used to love this steak restaurant, but not anymore. Let me tell you what happened. I tried to order online, but it didn't work. The options were good, but the delivery was bad. It didn't accept the Senior Discount, even though they say they offer it. We called to ask, but we were on hold for 30 minutes. The front desk didn't know about it and was waiting for a manager, but the manager never showed up. So, after 45 minutes of waiting, we gave up and ordered. When we arrived, we had to go to a new PICK UP WINDOW, which seemed like a good thing. I asked about the senior discount and being on hold for so long. The person at the window disappeared to find the manager, but she didn't come back for 5 minutes. So, I took my bag with our meal and left. We live only 5 minutes away, but the food was already cold.

And it gets worse. I ordered side shrimp, but it was tasteless, flattened, and cold. I've always enjoyed their shrimp, but this was the worst shrimp I've ever had in my life. The salad was okay, but the bacon bits I ordered and paid for were missing. The side roll was tiny, cold, and tasteless.

My husband ordered a 16-ounce Fort Worth Ribeye, but he says he will never order it again. It didn't look like 16 ounces, and it was very thin and tough, lacking flavor. He says he will NEVER order it again. The baked potato was good, though.

We don't know what's going on with Texas Roadhouse, but we can't afford to waste our money. We are extremely disappointed. My husband says he will never go back. It's sad.

Texas Roadhouse Bad experience

Dear Jeff Kanski;

Where to begin? Arrived at your location 06/10/2023 at 6:40 pm having already added my name to the wait list. Place was very crowded. Sat down at table 124 at around 7:25 pm. While waiting, we were standing facing the kitchen, we could not help notice the amount of trash and food stacked high on the floor and under the prep tables for every customer to see if they looked that way. We sat at our table in the center of the room on the right side of the restaurant. While waiting for our server whose name I may not be spelling right, Makala, who did an excellent job taking care of us, we had a chance to take a look at our table and the ones on each side of us that were vacant at the time. All three tables were littered with trash and food on the floor. Not very appetizing to look at before ordering. Would you not agree? I have photos of those tables. Could it be the busser working the tables is throwing the food on the floor? He is. No one should be taken to a table until it is as clean as when you opened the doors that morning. We had eaten at this location Friday night and all went well. Tonight however was a different story. Asked for a large filet and was told there was non. Asked for a porterhouse and found out from one of your managers that you have not served a porterhouse in that restaurant for months. Time to take a magic marker and blot that item off the menu. I ended up with a 16 oz ribeye, which was very good. We had to wait for napkins and silverware. Ran out. Had to wait for butter for the rolls, ran out I guess. There was a young man who brought my wife a Caesar salad and reached out as far as he could from the table and put it at the far corner of the table and walked off. My wife had to extend her arm out to grab the bowl. This same server after I ordered the brownie sundae, he delivered it by sliding it on the table with no ice cream or chocolate drizzle or a fork or spoon to eat it with. Our server apologized and made it the proper way.

High volume or low, all restaurants should make there guest feel like they are the only ones in the building. They expect a clean kitchen, an immaculate dinning area and great food. Plus, condiments on the table should be at least half full not like the ketchup container at our table which had about a squirt left in it. If an establishment cannot maintain theses items, it should close up shop.

One other thing. Is it only me that thinks those advertising signs hanging over peoples head is a bit tacky? If it is for another reason, please let me know. If you could send me your email I will forward you a couple of pictures. We are from Florida but will be the this area for about a year longer.

Thanks for reading. Thought you would want to know.

Have a blessed day.

Chris and Vanessa

Texas Roadhouse Food

Let me 1st say... I, like a lot of folks...go ahead and pay. leave and regret...especially when the service is impeccable and one of the people in our party knew and had requested the college student waitress that served us. i tipped her $40. for her service, she was so wonderful!

The food was the issue. and with social media etc... quite often I'm seeing things go on in the kitchens, especially when a plate comes back to the cooks and honestly, i did not want that to be on mind either. the loaded potatoes came out cold, nothing melted on them despite us asking if mashed potatoes would be hot. The ribs were not charred to perfection... charred to dryness and toughness which was noticed only after I got home as I did not eat them there after eating so much bread before the food arrived and sampling my son's and husband's dishes (smothered chicken/delicious, and beef tps /tough). wait was extremely long but they were indeed a bit crowded at the end of lunch service. I'd ordered the slab of ribs , and upon inspection you could tell it was not a whole, same slab, not a whole slab at all! but definitely the ribs that were dryed out as my grandson, the person we were out celebrating with, ordered the chicken and ribs...he commented his ribs were tender but chicken was dried out.

The salmon was divine..the word given by the person who ordered it and my son stated his smothered chicken was delicious which I tasted of and agreed. The 2 that ordered the beef tip dinners both agreed they were tough despite the recommendation of these lunch specials. Texas Roadhouse/ TR has been our families go2 for years... celebrations and for me even when dining alone. There have been hiccups along the way but nothing to this degree. I think my desire to continue to love TR is also partly why I choose to try to just swallow this experience...of recent, I’m wanting to get my youth group ministry group a go2 restaurant and have thought to TR. but it keeps nagging me and I need to put forth this complain as we are so often encouraged to do at eating establishments. were actually going to state of Ky and a celebration there is to occur and once again it's being assumed it will be at TR.

Desired outcome: Honestly, I'd appreciate gift card compensation. I should've spoken up. I thought I could just "take it". I'd initially tried submitting on my phone days after visit but it was rejected. Then I got ill and went into hospital for 2 wks.
