Near Christmas I was in Greensboro, NC and ran by Texas on Battleground for lunch and to buy $100 worth of gift cards. I usually go to Burlington's Texas but was in Greensboro to get my hair cut that day. Anyway, the waitress said there was a special going on. If I bought $300 worth I would not only get the extra coupons for buying them, I would also get a free appetizer coupon good for a year. That I could get a free appetizer everyday if that was what I wanted to do. Thinking this was a great deal and I eat at Texas all the time, I opted to get the $300. Once Christmas was over I went to use the coupons and found out not only that the free appetizer is only good in Greensboro, which I rarely go to, I have to buy two entrees to use it AND I can't use the gift card coupons with it. Only one coupon at a time. Now I am a recent widow I'm usually alone and almost always go to Burlington to eat, I am very disappointed with your company. Never once did the waitress say it's only good at this location nor that I couldn't combined the two. Her saying I could get a free appetizer everyday would never in a million years make anyone think 2 entrees were required. I love steak but I couldn't eat it everyday. To me this is false advertising; at the least it's a shady way to do business. Once I use and/or give all the gift cards away, I'm not sure I will ever go back to Texas again!

My wife took me to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner on 11-27-2019. The service was great - server was super nice - but our steaks were literally luke warm to cold. A manager happened to stop by as we were finishing our meals (not by request) and we told him that our only complaint (taste of steaks were great) was our steaks were barely warm. We had them finished by then because we didn't want to take extra time reordering and we were in a hurry.
The manager offered nothing to the conversation and offered no solution or resolution to our problem. We bought two $100 gift certificates but after doing so we are worried that our recipients might experience a similar cold meal.
I'm disappointed in our meal. The steaks obviously sat around for a while and it wasn't that busy.
It wouldn't have taken them that long to warm your steaks up if you had asked. You can't eat your entire meal and then expect to be compensated for it.
