Complaint for Texas Roadhouse
I work for Wake Forest Baptist Hospital and am well aware of how to interact with the public. I was in Greensboro, N.C. and did call ahead seating . I got my txt and it said to check in with host upon arrival which we did. The host said she did not have us down as a call ahead and we would have to wait. I said how did you not have me down and how did I get this text! She was very rude and said well you are not on the list. Therefore; we left and went to Outback. Got a great meal
This was today, Monday, 12/20/21 at 5:15p.
I really should have asked her name but I was so furious, I just left.
I will tell all my patients, friends and family about this poor customer service!

After numerous visits, they still can’t get it right
Either the wait stuff don't listen to you when you order, or the kitchen doesn't listen to the white staff, or just nobody gives a [censored] about the customer. I live in Tucson Arizona, and on occasion, frequent the Texas roadhouse on Wilmot Road. Unfortunately this place has gone down in my estimations as far as restaurants. When my wife and I go there they can never, I repeat NEVER get her order correct. And it's really pretty simple. She asked for a well done steak, and the steak comes medium and she hast to send it back. Once she sees pink in meat, she loses her appetite and our evening is ruined. One time we went and they had to remake her steak four times, FOUR times! We eventually got disgusted and left. Last night she thought she'd keep it simple, she asked for a well-done pork chop, no pink whatsoever. I got the chicken fried steak. She also ordered melted butter for her potatoes and her broccoli. After sitting g there for 25 minutes I had to ask if they forgot our order. First thing they do is deliver her potato and broccoli with solid butter not melted. She told the waitress she needed melted butter and to please bring it in a hurry before the potato and broccoli got cold. They then brought her chop. She cut into her chop while the waitress was there, and it was pink - I wouldn't even eat that. So there goes her main course, she won't have them remake it because she's losing her appetite. We ask for the manager. Nine minutes later the manager comes by our table, by now her potato and broccoli are ice cold and the melted butter still has not arrived. Magically once the manager gets there, here comes the melted butter! Unfortunately the potato and broccoli are now ice cold. Another evening ruined thanks to you guys. Making a meal is not hard, I can time everything just right so everything is hot and everything is cooked to perfection, why can't your restaurant? It's not rocket science.
Desired outcome: Either completely replace the staff at this location or just close it down. My wife and I have wasted too much money at this location when we order and they can’t get the simplest thing right. They can’t even get a salad right.
Missing food
We ate at your Vincennes Indiana location yesterday. our server was Jasie it was 6:11 p.m. we paid by mastercard. Our table number was 221/1. my husband ordered steak & ribs as he always does. Steak was to be medium, I ordered the 12 oz. ribeye also to be medium. we both had salad & baked potato. We also had a to go order. It was our Children's wedding anniversary & they are quarantined because their 5 year old has Covid. Trying to make the day special for them we ordered & was doing a porch drop off. Our steaks were well done, the baked potatoes were cold enough that the butter did not melt. I will say they did offer to cook us new steaks, but we didn't have time because of the to go orders. Now to tell you about that, I ordered a 16 oz. ribeye for my son with baked potato & french fries, my daughter in law Roadkill with baked potato & salad & for our granddaughter the childs chicken tenders & fries with BBQ sauce to dip. They called me and asked if there was a 3rd bag, because my son was missing his fries, my daughter in law didn't get her salad & our granddaughter had only french fries & BBQ sauce. Our Mastercard total was $94 before tip. This is the 4th time I have eaten there and before this visit we have been satisfied. This visit was a catastrophe, we also had a couple of employees setting at the booth across from us and the girl was polishing the guy's fingernails. Some of the employees did a dance & I don't have a problem with that, but I think service & food service should come first. I did call the Vincennes Texas Roadhouse last night to report the missing food items & they asked me if I wanted to return & they would make it right. By this time we are at home 40 to 45 miles away. The manager took my email address & said she would send me some compensation. I checked my emails this morning & did not have any from her. I think some changes need to be made at their location. I did not check the to go order to make sure everything was there, I thought Texas Roadhouse was high quality not like Mc Donalds where we always check our to go orders. missing my salad and all my baked potato toppings. really messed my meal up after waiting 15 minutes past my expected food time. it was resolved by a manager telling me we will take $5.00 off your meal. Out of 3 xs trying the pick up way to go. 2 of the 3 messed up orders. i really am mot coming back to this branch again and am passing the word of how poor a 15 percent tip on a messed up take out . plenty of other places to go and more coming to the area every month. We went to Texas Roadhouse in Columbia SC on Mon Sept 27th. My husband ordered the RibEye Steak, while I ordered the smothered chicken. The RibEye was full of gristle to the point that he could not eat it, mind you, we paid $22.00 for this crap, and his baked potato was burnt. I ordered the smothered chicken, which was so dry that I could not chew it, and I have very strong teeth. The only thing good was the Cactus. Complained to manager and they did bring us replacements, but it took so long to get the replacement that we asked for a togo box. When we got home, 10 min away, it was the same thing. I had a similar thing happen once before, and we decided to give it another chance, but as the old saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. The waitress told us that several people had sent their steaks back as they were so full of gristle to eat. I will definitely be informing other people of this. Last night 7/7/2021 I wanted to take my nieces for dinner, they are visiting from out of town - I chose to go to Texas Roadhouse in aurora Colorado b/o their excellent food, I called ahead for seating and was fully aware it was not a reservation. When I got there I waited for 45 min. until I asked when was my turn, my surprise was "You were not in the System" however I had a confirmation number (Conf. No. 7811), I was also told "you have been added to the priority list" I waited for additional 15 min. and saw parties getting their cue after me but getting a table before me, I asked a second time and got another confirmation No. (7850) and waited additional 20 Min. I HATE USING THE RACE CARD BUT IT WAS ODD THAT THE PARTIES AHEAD OF ME WHER WHITE (coincidence maybe?...) I'm filing a complaint against the management of your Clay NY store for their bullying tactics when it comes to their employees and showing proof of a NON APPROVED EMERGENCY USE vaccine. Stop the bullying tactics and treat people with respect. The management at your restaurant are NOT medical proffesionals and under no circumstance have the right to pressure/coerce the employees to get a emergency use vaccine that is NOT FDA approved. They have rights and you lost a long time customer.
Trash and food on the floors. Food wiped off tables to the floor bathrooms not fit for a dog! Horrible disgusting dirty.
Bathrooms not assesible for human or animal to use or enter. Staff wiping food off onto floor after Pu of dishes. Trash cups food never cleaned from floor 1 to 2 inches high. On Mother's Day I called at 515P to place an order for my wife and I. I had been led to believe if you have a coupon you must call. At 540P while still on hold, I also placed a call on my cell phone. That call was also placed on hold. While still having 2 phones on hold, at 600P my wife called on her cell phone.
Now mind you the recording states calls will be answered in the order they were received, they must work in reverse order. At 610P my wife's call is answered and with no greeting she was told that they could not take anymore orders for the night. My wife tells the girl she has been on hold for over an hour and the girl says sorry about that bye bye. My wife yells wait a minute I want to speak to the manager. She tells my wife I'll try to find one I'll put you on hold. Are the managers hiding? My wife tells her it better not be for another hour. She says oh no. At 625P we hang up all three phones. An hour and 10 minutes and no food.
We Have supported you guys all through covid by buying gift cards for gifts and family. We have never experienced this kind of disrespect before. Always a fist time I guess, and a last.

We wanted to place a To Go order to bring home for my birthday yesterday. First, we tried calling in our order After being on hold for 45 minutes and listening to that same awful song, we gave up and hung up. The last time we tried that (a couple of months ago), it also failed. Once, we had them send us a link via the prompt while on hold, and the link would not work. So last evening, we then tried going directly to the website to place the order. The site was extremely slow and sometimes would not let me select some of the items. Finally, after completing the selections that were allowed, I tried to pay. After entering my credit card, it wouldn't allow me to enter the expiration date or security code! I kept trying for 10 minutes and it finally worked! I have no idea why it wouldn't work earlier, as I just kept trying until it did. By then, the time for pickup was no longer good, so I had to figure out how to reselect a time without losing my order and payment. The earliest I could get was 9:15 pm! (I started this process at 7:00 pm by the way.) We drove to the restaurant and there were no TO GO parking spots available. In fact, there were NO parking spots available. We just sat waiting behind a couple of parked cars for about 20 minutes and someone finally left an open spot which we took. I texted we were "HERE", and kept getting conflicting auto-messages, stating "Sorry we can't find you" mixed with "Sorry, your order isn't ready yet." Very confusing. It said we could call, but we already knew the phone was never answered. Finally, about 9:25, our order was brought to us. I asked the delivery person to tell the manager about the phone issue and she told us the manager had instructed them not to answer the phone during busy times. Anyway, I had ordered a well-done sirloin steak - my favorite! When we got home, my steak was as rare as I have ever seen! It was red (not even pink) and was actually cold on the inside in some spots. I was so disappointed! But I already knew I could not call to let anyone know because no one answers the phone! Also, when I tried to go to Contact Us for that store, the site will not let me check the box "I am over 13" (doesn't work), so I can't even submit the feedback there. I just thought someone should know. Sure ruined my birthday dinner.

He started fine then it got worse.never had a problem before..he took our order to start drinks and a cactus onion..I ask him sugar never brought and plates, I myself had to go get from someone else. We waiting to order the rest of dinner never came went to another table took there order before us..then my husband steak was cooked wrong had to send back for a new one..none of your head servers/hostess never asked about how thing were going either.. I know it gets busy at times but dont forget about the customer you started with in which that is rude..so it longer to get our dinner..

I had the worst experience in life. I decided for my family to eat at Texas Roadhouse for a birthday party. We had a party of 9. The waitress said we had a hour wait, which was fine. After a hour and 10 minutes, we went inside and advised the staff we didn't mine eating at 2 different sections because they had an hour before they closed. The manager came up (Alison Perez) and stated we can not be seated, they only have seating for 8 people. The ninth person in our party was a 10 month old baby. I advised Alison I can hold my grandson. She became agitated. She started screaming and treating my party like we were trash. She informed us she was calling the police. For what reason, I'm still trying to find out. Keep in mind, other people was being seated with parties of 4 that just walked through the door. I spoke with a guest and she said she just came in. No reservation. While waiting to be seating the police came. They were clueless to why they were called. I hope someone teaches Alison Perez customer service skills. She has the wrong position for a company as large as Texas Roadhouse. Her professionalism was horrible. She do not have the personality to be a manager. I hope you guys get this problem resolved. Texas Roadhouse WAS my favorite steakhouse.
