My husband and I love to eat at Texas Roadhouse and often go at least monthly. We went to eat at store #194 on 6/13/24 and I ordered a margarita, but it was a different one than the one I usually order. It said this one was made with 3 different Tequilla’s and it was weaker than the one I usually order. So, I asked the waitress, “can I change it to the one I usually order” and she said, “you can order the other one, but I can’t take this one off your bill”. I said, when did y’all change that because they use to allow this and she said, “just now”. I then asked to speak with a manager, and she sent someone. When I explained to the manager how the drink was weak, she said “I can’t take it off your bill”. I said, the drink is weaker than the one I usually get and the only reason I ordered it was because it said there are 3 different Tequilla’s and I expected it to be strong. I then said, well the bartenders didn’t do a good job with it cause it’s weak and she said, “I’m sure they didn’t mess it up because they know what they are doing”. I began to say “ma’am, how can you say that you can’t just have them remake it” but before I could finish talking, she interrupted me saying “I’m pregnant and I don’t need this stress and just walked off. The family at the table next to me who overheard the conversation turned to me and said, “I can’t believe how she just handled y’all”. I told her that I would be getting in touch with corporate because I didn’t think she need to be handling customers and she said, “ma’am, if you need me to vouch for the way she handled y’all, I’d be more than happy to give you my name and number”, which she did. My husband left the table and went to get the number to corporate and the name of the manager. When he was away, I stopped another waitress to ask if there were more than one manager on duty and she said there were 3. So, I asked her what the name was of the pregnant one and she said “Victoria”. I asked the names of the other two and she said, “Kasie and Chase”. When my husband initially went to speak with someone, he was actually speaking to Kasie and while she was writing the information down, he asked if there was another manager, Kasie said “no and Victoria was nearby and stepped up to say, “why you don’t just leave it alone, you have the corporate #”. When my husband got back, I told him what I had found out and he said, “she lied to me”. He showed me a paper of which someone he spoke to, who turns out to be Kasey, said that “no other manager was on duty and the name on the paper who she said was the manager who spoke with us was “Lauren”. My husband then went back to talk with Kasey and told her that she lied and gave him an incorrect name of the manager who handled us, and she took the paper from him that she wrote on scratching out the incorrect name and writing the correct name. He then said, “write your name down as well” but she couldn’t lie because she had a name tag on. We had barely begun to eat when all of this started, and we were so disgusted and upset by the treatment we asked for to go containers and took our food home. This visit was by far not our first time going to your restaurant, as a matter of fact our child serves in the military and I love the respect your company has for our military it makes your restaurant one of my favorite but considering how disrespectful we were treated, I have no plans to return and if something is not done to rectify these horrible workers, I will not only not return but will not be shy about announcing how horrible we were treated to any and all we can find and that’s including social media. This was totally uncalled for and should have been handled more respectfully.

Claimed loss: We didn't even end up being able to enjoy our meal and ended up having to take it to go.

Desired outcome: The managers Victoria and Kacie needs to apologize to my husband and I for the horrible treatment and we should receive the opportunity to enjoy another meal (while still hot) dining in restaurant.
