Ticket Fees and Website
Ticketmaster is the absolute worst. I bought 4 $80 tickets for an event that ended up costing me $115 for each after fees. $35 dollars in fees is outrageous. Then, I couldn’t make the event so I had to resell them. They charged me another fee for reselling. I paid $200 in just fees. To make matters worse, The website has tons of glitches and errors—it takes forever to post them. Eventually I get them posted and I get an email that my tickets sold and I was going to get paid. The email didn’t say how many of my tickets were sold, but I thought it would be all four since I’m pretty sure I set them to be sold together. The email didn’t say how much I was receiving either. I went though the process of verifying my payment and realized I only received half the amount.
I went on a 20 min search to see why I received so little. There is no detailed receipt or breakdown for my sold tickets. I lost out on another $170 because of Ticketmaster poorly designed website and process. They also don’t have a contact number. For as many fees as they charge, you’d think they would make the process smoother. It’s like they don’t care about the customer.
Desired outcome: Refund the two tickets that weren’t sold.

At this event at the Toyota Music Factory, Irving,Texas on 7/28/2022, we have purchased the original tickets for this show. We drove all the way from Oklahoma City just to catch this show with all eagerness. Sometimes later they opened some different level of upgrades that could be purchased. Being such a big fan of this artist, we purchased the VIP access which on Live Nation and Ticket Master promised this:
AR Rahman VIP Upgrade: Fans who purchase the VIP upgrade gain EARLY ACCESS to the venue to watch a portion of soundcheck/rehearsal. Early Access will begin 75 minutes before doors open to regular ticket buyers. Fans are allowed to stand right in front of the stage where AR (solo or with band) performs 2 to 3 songs. This VIP upgrade allows fans an EXCLUSIVE experience that AR has never offered before. VIP attendees will receive a commemorative tour laminate as part of the Package.
So by what they promised, we should have been able to enter at 6:15 pm(show starts at 7:30 pm) and enjoyed couple of songs on rehearsals before continuing to the actual show at 7:30 pm.
What actually happened:
We arrived early just by pure luck at 5:30 pm to the venue to an almost an empty front. We checked in early just in case and they checked us in. Next thing we know, at about 5:45 pm they brought us into the concert hall. We were told we can't stand in front of the stage and were asked to sit instead which completely goes against the benefit they mentioned for the VIP access. We entered to a bunch of people already sitting down, and heard less than one song(less than 10 minutes) before we were ushered out of the venue immediately and were made to wait in line again. Anybody with VIP access who arrived after that was told the VIP benefits are done for the day, and that they were late even though the clock still haven't struck 6:15 pm. And we were made to wait in line with everybody else and only were allowed slightly earlier entry compared those without the VIP access. While the concert was great and such, I didn't pay 150 dollars upgrade just to get less than 10 minutes rehearsal and a lanyard. This is a complete ripoff and when the staffs there were asked of this, they claim they didn't know anything about all this and that they were just doing their job.
Desired outcome: I would like a complete refunds for me and my friends. I also would like to see an active involvement to ensure this kind of issue doesn't occur again.
Concert tickets thru TicketMaster
We purchased 4 tickets back in Jan.2020 for the Motley Crue stadium tour in Milwaukee, WI. when Covid hit...the tour was not cancelled but rather re-scheduled a couple of times, fast forward...the concert was scheduled for 7/17/22 at American Family Field ( Brewers Stadium) in Milwaukee. We never received our 4 tickets thru TicketMaster, I had contacted them on 7/12 to informn them we still hadn't received our "paper tickets" not electronic, they said they would get them out to us in 2 days but they never arrived and we were not able to see the concert. We paid $846.74 total for the 4 tickets that they said they will not refund do to a 3rd party that was involved in sending the tickets.

Steely Dan Tickets
I purchased two tickets for Steely Dan @Northwell Health Jones Beach theater in New York for June 29, 2022. The day before the concert I went into my Ticketmaster account to find no tickets. They were charged to my credit card on March 31, 2022. I contact Jones Beach via email about the situation and no response whatsoever to help me get my tickets so I could attend the event. I tried to reach them by phone as well, they were looking into it. But never reached back and then it was too late anyway. When my husband realized I had an issue with Ticketmaster he went into his account, saw his tickets for future concerts and then discovered mine. How in the world did they get to his account when I bought them on mine! Unfortunately this was past the event date. I was informed this is due to Auto-Populate. I sure hope this never happens again. My credit card would not issue a refund due to it was past a two month cycle. Can you please refund my account.

The online booking service on Ticketmaster cancelling my order for no reason
I was online this morning hoping to book 3 tickets for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band. This was goingb to be for my Dad's 60th birthday.
Then literally, was processing the payment (I had sufficient funds in my account). It then completely went berserk on my work computer. The ticketmaster page that is, just came up with error. Then it just took me right back to the start. Upon which I couldn't get any tickets at all. None for Edinburgh, London, nor Birmingham. I didn't even have the option to try again with the same payment details.
To say I'm gutted I can no longer purchase affordable tickets at around the ball park of £111 is an understatement. All because of a technical fault, on your page and nothing more. With the cost of living crisis, they is no way I can afford to pay £400 odd a ticket.

Hello i ordered a ticket and unfortunately misspelled my email by accident and they Ng to contact ticket master for help is impossible and I just can't believe the biggest and only ticket place in the UK has no phone numbers no emails to get help and I find this extremely unprofessional and unhelpful.
I would suggest you get that in order and people on the phoned as that was the most ridiculous run around and the people on chat didn't even understand what I was telling them it was talking to a brickwall.
I'm extremely annoyed and find it very stupid to not have any comments ntact details no phone or email to get help and would look into this seriously!

getting a refund
i purchased tickets to an event by accident. i immediately tried to contact them to try and cancel and have been trying to get a refund for over a month and the response is the same; then they said you can sell them; but that option is not available; then they said you can transfer them; i dont have anyone to transfer them to and i just want a refund. I after this experience i will never use them again and i will let other know about this awful experience.

I purchased tickets on 7/16/22 to the NKOTB concert at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. I drove 3 1/2 hours to get there and upon arriving, the parking garage was full. I drove around for 1 hour trying to find parking. There was absolutely no parking to be found and by the time I drove around, the concert was already one hour in so I decided to cut my losses and drove 3 1/2 hours home!
I am very upset by this that I didnt even get to see the concert but now I am out $ 145.63. I was told by Ticketmaster that I needed to contact TD Garden for a refund and they told me vice versa. I am very angry about this whole situation and run around. I would just really like a refund.

I purchased tickets to a concert in late 2019, it was postponed because of Covid. Then rescheduled, rescheduled again, and rescheduled a 3rd time. I could not attend the latest date because of a previously planned trip. I could not sell my tickets on Ticketmaster nor transfer them. I reached out to TM no less than 30 times trying to get resolution.
They kept sending me "canned" responses like - try a different browser, device, etc. all of which I did several times to no avail.
They finally got back to me today with this response (the concert already passed). "Thank you for reaching out to us in regards to selling/transferring your tickets. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your tickets were not eligible for resale or transfer. Ticketmaster does not set the guidelines for Resale or Ticket Transfer. The Event Promoter's are the ones to set those options, we only follow their guidelines. It has been my pleasure to assist you today."
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of $491 for tickets I could not sell, use, or transfer.
Technical support for online order
I purchased tickets from Ticketmaster. When I received an email from them, I tried to obtain the tickets by pressing "Accept Tickets" which was contained in the email.
Once I pressed "Accept Tickets", a message from Ticketmaster said "Pardon the Interruption" and gave three solutions to access the tickets. I have also searched online everywhere to try to get this glitch worked out. Since I don't have the tickets, they do not appear in my account - which is the only way to contact Fan Support (by referencing the ticket numbers)
Please help! I have almost $500 worth of tickets being held hostage by Ticketmaster.
They do not accept phone inquiries and their customer service is non-existent.

Deceptive price gouging
I feel completely cheered. I bought myself a ticket that it said price depending on current trend at 250.00 for a ticket. What I was reading when I bought it said that the price depended on going price. My friend said that I over paid. Within just a few a few hours seats better/closer than mine going at nearly 1/3 cost that I paid. I’ve been long term concert investments and while it seemed too high I TRUSTED that it was the correct price and now, I feel cheated. I would like refund on this ticket so that I can repurchase at the now real/honest price of demand.
I tried to discuss my feelings about this purchase with Ticketmaster but I'm stuck in an endless loop of their automated services.
Desired outcome: I want a refund for that ticket so that I repurchase a similar ticket and the Honest current going for price that the other buyers are being offered, right now.
Ticket Price changes
We bought tickets for a concert last year when it was released and now tickets for the same area on the official website are being sold at a much lower price (almost £33 lower per ticket), making it impossible to resell tickets for same face value, and also tickets are not allowed to be sold on any other site, therefore almost guaranteed to make a loss. Unable to go to show now and wanted to resell but now will either have to make a large loss or give tickets for free, due to this change in pricing as people can buy similar seats for lower prices.
Not been advised about a re-scheduled Rhod Gilbert
I booked tickets through Ticketmaster to see Rhod Gilbert before the pandemic and I opted for paper tickets.
Rod Gilbert was due to perform at the Octogen Theatre on Monday 20th April 2020, booking reference UK5-64-36416, obviously the performance did not take place due to the pandemic. I was then very disappointed to learn that Rhod Gilbert had performed at the Octogen Theatre last year on 21st July, just as we were coming out of covid restrictions. At no point had I received an email or postal notification from Ticketmaster that this event had been rescheduled.
I registered a complaint with Ticketmaster but they said they could not help as I had failed to attend the performance. My grievance is that if they had informed me of the new date I would have attended. Ticketmaster had sent a message to my Ticketmaster on-line acct which had never been opened as I was unaware there was a message for me, I would have expected them to send me an email to check my account. In contrast my husband received five emails from Ticketmaster to say our Glass Animals performance had been rescheduled. How is appropriate for five emails to be sent for Glass animals and not one for the rescheduling of Rhod Gilbert. I have sent various emails to Ticketmaster and feel they have not taken my complaint seriously, I strong believe they failed in their duty to inform me of the rescheduled date and I would request they fully re-imburse me the full total charged of £66.85.

The app doesnt work missed 2 shows because of it
We purchased tickets for 2 shows on June 11, 2021 Jackson Browne and Samantha Fish. The app will not work on any device we have. Tried re installing it five times to no avail. Apparently they have no customer service because we have been waiting for 5 hours for someone in their so called chat.

We bought tickets to see Red Hot Chilli Peppers in Barcelona on 7th June 2022 in Barcelona. The plastic lanyard tickets arrived about a week before the event by registered post.
Went to the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, having travelled from England, especially to see them.

Sold tickets for a canceled event.
Case Description:
I purchased two tickets to Pearl Jam at Royal Farms Arena for 28 March 2020. On 4 March 2020 I used the resell feature to sell the tickets as we were no longer able to attend. Due to COVID the original date was rescheduled. Recently the rescheduled date was cancelled. Today I received an invoice to pay for the tickets once again so Ticketmaster can refund the person who purchased them from me. The invoice email states nothing about how I will then get my refund so I did some digging on that process. According to their policy updated 1 Jan 2021 the way of it is I have to basically repurchase the tickets, and then once the event organizer submits the refund I will then be given my refund or sometimes the possibility of a credit. First, all this occurred well before their 2021 policy, technically it happened prior to the pandemic being declared as such. Second, why should I have to buy back something I sold? I have been done with this and forgotten all about as it was well over two years ago. Third, seems to me if they are just waiting for a refund from the event organizer then that is now between them and the event organizer. I made the payment via invoice after not being notified there was an “issue” processing my payment and now they are telling me because they couldn’t use my payment method that I will not be getting a refund. They have literally stolen $244 from me. I am DONE Ticketmaster, this is not the first time I have had issues but this is by far one of the most ridiculous issues so far. No point in given them another chance.

Order #47-57985/SCS On 10/26/2021 I ordered 2 tickets to the CMA music festival. The total was $689.00. Please see attached. I received an email notification with seat assignment and receipt for payment.
In May of 2022 I reviewed my credit card statement and realized they charged me twice on 10/26/2022 for $689.00 and in addition to that, I opened my mobile app and my tickets say voided.
I have tried several ways to contact Ticketmaster and all I get is emails stating: please review our FAQ and Purchase policy. No call back, no solution to where my tickets are etc... We were directed to buy tickets that were supposed to be American Express exclusive purchases, instead they came from TicketMaster and the price were excessively high. The following day the same tickets, same date, same venue and same row were being offered from $99 to $200 when we paid over $1000 per ticket (8 tickets)
Desired outcome: Complete Refund. We were tricked into thinking we were buying from American Express when they were issued by Ticket Master at a very high price.
Tickets that were deleted from my account have not been put back on
I purchased tickets in February 2020 right before Covid hit for a concert that was supposed to happen in July 2020. Obviously it was postponed and has now been rescheduled three times because of additional Covid issues. Finally it has been rescheduled for July of this year, 2022. In February, the tickets I had purchased vanished from my Ticketmaster account. I have the confirmation information from my bank and credit card that they were purchased. It took me three weeks to get a response from Ticketmaster to say it would be taken care of. Another three weeks went by as I attempted to contact them by phone (which as most people probably know is next to impossible because they do not want to be contacted). After trying for days somehow I’ve actually got someone on the phone who accused me of lying that I did not have tickets and when I asked to speak to a supervisor that person did confirm I had the tickets and gave me a reference number for the issue. The supervisor told me that this had happened to thousands of people who bought tickets in early 2020 because their system just purged the tickets when they were not activated. I was told the issue would be resolved in 5 to 7 days. That was three months ago. I have filed complaints with the BBB and written Ticketmaster‘s website almost daily. All I get is a response saying it’ll be taken care of and then they follow up with a survey asking how great our customer service is. Are you kidding? Then they send you a link when I say “no, it was not resolved” and the link is just the FAQ section on their website which does not answer any of my questions, so I have to talk to a person. I’m afraid at this point with the concert now being only six weeks away that I am not going to get these tickets put back on my account. This is absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous that this issue is been going on for almost 4 months and not been resolved. Ticketmaster is a scam. Isn't there a government agency or a regulatory commission that can monitor and hold them accountable for their unscrupulous practices? They have a monopoly on the ticket market which is unfortunate and should not be allowed. They are nothing but scam artists. When a website purposely hides a phone number so you cannot find it that should be a big red flag to everybody buying tickets.
Desired outcome: I want the tickets put back on my account ASAP that I paid for 2 1/2 years ago. This issue is been going on for four months now and I’m afraid they will not resolve it before the event in almost 6 weeks. Why should I believe them?
