In July 2023, I added a one-year card to my Tracfone, giving me 9.56GB of Data, 4700 Minutes for Phone, and 2678 Texts.
A month later...All Balances Were GONE!
My calls and chats to Tracfone ('customer service!') were Horrible and Useless. Every person went through the Same Script...security question, 2 of your recent calls...only to say they could Not 'verify' my account!
During a Chat, I found out that they closed my account because
"You have filed an invalid credit card dispute and your service has been disconnected. To request your service reactivation simply call your credit card company or banking institution to reverse your charge-back complaint"
I DID NOT!
Their 'solution?'
"Or if you prefer, send us a Money Order addressed to TracFone Wireless, INC, Attention: Chargeback Department located at 9700 NW 112th Ave Miami, FL 33178. Please clearly write your Full Name and Address, your Mobile Phone Number and the Serial Number of your Phone (IMEI, ESN, or MEID). Make sure to enclose your Money Order in the amount of $51.22. Personal checks will not be accepted. Money Orders received will be processed within 4-7 business days. After this time, you may call us to reactivate your service."
Further calls have gotten me nowhere...they say I have to contact my Bank! There is Nothing to contact them about! There was No credit card claim, since I did Not Use One at Tracfone!
My Only Tracfone purchase was for the one-year card that I bought Elsewhere!
I filed a claim with the FCC, which got their attention. 'Richie' from "Executive Resolution Department" called...and Just Repeated the Above! That I filed the credit card dispute and that I should send them $51.22!
He then transferred me, as usual, to another idiot...Same Thing--'father's middle name, and two recent calls!" And...Nothing!
Desired outcome: I want All my Balances Returned and my Service Restored with My Phone Number!
