Good afternoon, I am writing on behalf of our nonprofit animal welfare organization to let you know of the ongoing frustration that we are experiencing, and the lack of effort put forth by the Greenfield, MA management and head cashiers regarding applying federal tax exemption to our purchases there. We have been trying for several years to get them to fix our account to take the tax off our purchases. We’ve even emailed the store our 501 C3 letter of federal exemption several times by email to no avail. They don’t seem to care if we are getting charged tax that we are federally exempt from, and are frustrated by the laissez-faire attitude when we request the head cashier or assistant mgr reach out to regional manager to teach them how to enter our EIN into our good neighbor account. Could you please put me in touch with the regional manager for the Greenfield, MA store?
I’d appreciate their name and phone number as soon as possible. We do like tractor supply for the quality dog food, pet supplies etc. and shop their stores all over the country and frankly don’t understand why this one store in particular, doesn’t care or want to help us by conserving our meager finances by removing tax to let that money be used to save the lives of Helpless animals dying in our Shelters every day. I went into the store to look around and I got immediately profiled when I walked in and she followed me around the store and after the fourth time she asked if I needed help and I said no she kicked me out I have on board shorts and a t shirt so no place for me to hide anything to steal so she was just dumb and outta line and needs to be repremanded

We are in Deer Park Washington where a new Tractor Supply is soon opening. This is a small town. Tractor Supply will have a negative impact on some long standing family business. Although many may not like it they have conducted themselves professionally. The management or recruiting staff members have gone into multiple business, multiple times (witnessed it) and approached that businesses staff and suggested they quit and come work for them. It has happened in BiMart, Yokes, Ace Hardware and Inland Feed. The recruiters are still ignorant to the community and are approaching family business members about quitting their family business and coming to work for them. Numerous colleagues have mentioned that although usually proud to wear their company hat while grocery shopping they can't have peace without being approached. Why come into a small town and poach employees while they are on the clock with their employer or shopping in a store? There were already many applicants without coming in and bulldozing.
Desired outcome: Sensitivity training. It does not present well when you may put a family owned feed store out of business and try to poach their staff or follow people in the local grocery store to poach them.
Seed potatoes.
When I went on line, they informed me that seed potateos were not available at the Nazareth, Pa. store, which has been my usual stop. Online it stated that the Kennebac seed potato was available and IN STOCK at the Phillipsburg, N.J. store.
So, I invested my time, energy and mileage going to the Phillipsburg store. There I was informed that they did not have seed potatoes!
Furthermore, I tried contacting the Tractor Customer Service Team online. Good luck with that on. All you get is a run around the bush. Why do you supply a customer service number when you supply no customer service via phone? All you do is tell people to go to the website anyway!
Your website supplies FALSE INFORMATION. How can it be trusted?
I have bought my chicken feed and other supplies from your establishment for years. That may not go on at this point, if all you can do is supply me with a phone number that helps me in no way. This is very frustrating.
Desired outcome: I need 4 bags of the Kennebec seed potato ASAP!

On September 23,2022 I went into store in Lawron, Ok Stephanie Townsend and was going to go get horsefeed, however the pallet was lying between store room and floor ask manager if I could get some, she said no that she couldn't get to it at the moment so I asked if I could get some she stepped down and rudely said no, I told her then I would go to [censored]in arwoods she replied back the go to [censored]in atwoods, also stepped in smelt stone odor of marijuana on another day, black kid reaked of it, also this Stephsnie Townsend has been taking stuff home according to some people was seen on brand new riding lawn mower, mowing her lawn, she is known to be a thief and if this the kind of people you have work there then I will go to BBB.

Manager wauconda il store
Today I was at the Tractor Supply Store in Wauconda Il. From time to time I rent the trailer. We are good customers and the Manager recognizes me as I come in often. We have a Farm and I buy all our Chicken Feed and Farm supplies at that store. Actually I was recognized by the previous Mgr Julie as well. When I pulled in I noticed the trailer wasn’t in its usual spot, this signified it was rented. Next I thought I would go in and inquire if the trailer was rented for a half day or a full day, I know they can look in the contract rental book easily and let me know. When I saw the Manager who recognizes me from my frequent visits I asked hey do u know if the trailer was rented for a full or half day. She said I have no idea I wasn’t here earlier when it was rented. She was not very friendly, next I said would u mind checking the rental book it’s just over there on the desk. She responded no not now I’m too busy if u want to wait around I’ll see if I can check it in a while when I’m not busy. She was not helping another customer she was moving some inventory. Not 30’ from the answer I needed. So I stood around a while 15 minutes and thought maybe the cashier would know because the renter would have paid for either a half or full day. The cashier didn’t know but quickly queried the Manager on the in house headset phone. The Manager said tell him to come back later I’m too busy to check. I’m leaving I told the cashier that the Manager was in appropriate to not try and assist as it was so simple to tell me renter full day so I would no or half day so I could stay in the area and rent it later today. Your Manager needs a little instruction on Customer Service.
Desired outcome: A note from the District Manager that they have talked with this Manager and instilled a little Customer Service in her.
CNL 4FT Rotary Cutter Blades 2PK
I order these blades on May 10 and ONLY received one blade on May 17. I am very disappointed. I needed these blades to mow a lot of weeds on my property. This will put me very behind and I really cannot afford to be behind. This is very frustrating. I had to take a special trip into town to take the 1 blade to the Store in Grand Junction, CO.

3:30 Tuesday, May 9th. Went to load a 16ft cattle panel and the very rude employee refused to help secure it in the bed of my truck. My hands are arthritic and I don’t know how to use ratchet straps :(. He said it was against store policy to help! We are Neighbors Club members and spend thousands of $$$ at TSC every year! I will AVOID this specific store from now on after how I was treated:(

I know this was months ago but that is actually the policy. If that cattle panel flies off and hits another car TSC does not want to be responsible. Makes sense to me.
Producers pride chicken feed and 4health lamb and rice dog food
I complained previously about quality issues with you Producers Pride laying feed. I have switched to a locally mixed layer feed to solve my folk issue. I got no response to my issues and comcerns.
I started using your 4Health dog food Lamb and Rice several months ago and was pleased with it until this last bag. This last bag has an extreme percentage fines. We have had to screen the fines out to get our dog to eat it.
Both of these issues point to serious issues in you quality control. You need to improve this or suffer business losses.
Desired outcome: It is too late to win back my chicken feed business. I would like to know what you are going to do to improve you quality controls?
Unprofessional conduct of an employee.
On April 5, 2023 I went into the Thatcher Tractor Supply store, 1774 to pick up a bag of dog food that no one in town carries. When I walked into the store, none of the employees acknowledged, my presence. When I saw employee Rhonda, Hi said Hi Rhonda, and kept walking towards the dog food section.
Rhonda proceeded to walk behind me talking in a loud and angry tone regarding a question I posed to the employees just after the Waco, TX store hosted the Drag Queen story time event. Rhonda was not present at that time. I politely stated my feelings about the topic and she continued to speak to me in a loud and angry manner. When I walked away from her in another isle, she followed me continuing her tirade towards me. When I walked towards the front of the store she continued her tirade towards me.
Rhonda did this not only in front of employee Amber and other customers, but loud enough for employees Britni and Kathy and customers at the registers to hear her. When I walked up to the registers you could hear a pin drop, and the look on everyones faces said it all.
Assistant Manager Mary was at the online pick up lockers and ignored the whole incident and did nothing about this.
I was an employee there for two and half years up until January of last year and this does not give her the right to act in this manner.
Desired outcome: I want appropriate discipline action taken regarding this incident.

I went online and ordered cat food this morning Comuter showed 4 in stock , i ordered 3 . and went about i hour later to pick up my order..
Wnen I got there . my order wAS NOT available . The Manager , an ABSOLUTE [censored], went to chech , then came out with 2 bags instead of three, and said taht is all we have , i stated that when i order there were 4 and I orderf 3 , He went to the shelf and only two were there. Hesaid we only have 2 .. I stated that online said there were 4 and i ordered 3. He saihe id not have 3, and i told him to give the two he had and refund my account. He refused to give me the two he had , and canceled my order,
He was an ABSOLUTE [censored] and not CUSTERMER FRIENDLY, He should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY
I will NEVER visit this astore as long as he is there, and I will find somewhere else to shop.
If he had done his job, My order might have been filled timely . Who knows

I bought a pair of Wrangler pants from the newly opened Byram, MS store less than 5 days ago. I went back to take them back because they did not fit properly and had my receipt and all tags were still on pants and a very rude store employee told m we pants had dog hair on them and where dirty and insinuated that I actually stapled the tags back on pants
Desired outcome: Finally store manager came after the employee called m we an a--hole under her breath and returned the pants for me
Website/customer service/wallet birthday gift/chicken food
Website: the website is always terribly slow and forces me to sign in to look at things.
Customer service: several times I've tried to type and got no reply. Several calls to them and the phone number immediately hangs up within first second.
Birthday gift: doesn't exist, even after complaints nothing happened it's a scam as far as I can see.
Points: my points are not given to me instead of says the order was cancelled even though I picked it up.
Chicken food: the house brand is now causing the hens to stop laying eggs.
Desired outcome: Please give a birthday gift and points I deserve. Dodging by falsely claiming cancelled order is unacceptable. Fix site, customer service, contact and phone issues. Please fix the problem with your chicken feed.
Shameful employee / key holder?
This just happened a few minutes ago but I am beyond upset! This happened today March 19th 2023 around 9:30am.
I took back a toy horse and a small lama figurine for a child, anyways these were both purchased at the same store by my husband which doesn't have a rewards account, I didn't have the receipt with me so the employee TREATED ME like I had STOLEN them! Our whole family has been regular faithful customer's since they opened. But then he KEPT them both and told me to find the receipt and come back!
I will find the receipt but I'd like to know is he going to consider the extra gas I have to use not counting the humiliation from this? Is it because I look rough, it's Sunday morning most people that shop there farm, we don't get all fixed up to go to the tractor supply store! I do not understand why this happened, but I do understand how judgemental this guy is for whatever reason, they've have never had a issue with me before when I was spending hundred's of dollars before! I'm very disappointed and feel like I have been violated for no reason what so ever! My husband had a store for 42yrs here and believe me this is not how you treat a customer! This isn't about the 2items it's about being treated like a criminal which leaves me feeling so disgusted with the whole thing!

Not being able to use the pet wash station during posted hours
3 times we have went to the store Parsons TN #2528 to use the pet wash station the last time being today 3/5/23 at 5 pm (hours posted says open till 7pm) and was turned away because “the girl has already cleaned it so we closed it early “.
This makes it very inconvenient for all customers wanting to use it during the posted hours, but can’t because someone decided that they didn’t want to clean it again which is their job
Desired outcome: This happens all the time at the store employee should Follow the hours that is posted
employee concern
You need to review your employee Jeni Cooley to see if she is still employed with TSC. She started a new job on Feb 22 at the Grayson County detention center and I am concerned that she is still receiving a temporary medical disability I believe from Hartford. Or did she turn in her notice. She works from home as a customer service representative.
She lives in Leitchfield Ky and started employment in Sept 2022.
