I had a great experience with Tru AutoMall. I went to see a car recently, and when I got there, the car was inside, clean, and ready for me to test drive. After driving it, there was no pressure to buy. They didn't treat me like just another sale, they treated me with respect and told me everything about how the car sales business works. I ended up buying the car the next day, not because they forced me, but because they made me feel comfortable enough to spend my money. Being honest, respectful, and building a good relationship really makes a difference. Plus, I got a really good car at an even better price. Thanks to everyone at Tru Auto Mall!

I bought a used vehicle from Tru Auto on June 18. I had to return it twice due to a low coolant alert. Despite the 30-day warranty, they claimed no issues. A diesel specialist later identified a head gasket problem. Tru Auto denied responsibility. After my complaint, the Connecticut Motor Vehicle Department got involved. Tru Auto had the vehicle inspected on October 31, confirming the head gasket issue. Unconvinced, they sought a second opinion, which inaccurately reported no problems. They agreed to repair only if another mechanic corroborated the issue. A third inspection on December 3, verified the head gasket fault, but Tru Auto still refused repairs. Mediation was delayed by the pandemic, and a hearing on July 21, resulted in Tru Auto repurchasing the truck and reimbursing my costs. They also failed to provide the proper warranty, as the state mandates a 60-day warranty for vehicles less than 6 years old and over $5,000. Tru Auto was warned during the hearing. They're now reselling the truck without repairs, according to the vehicle history report. BEWARE!

After 2 weeks of havin a vehicle purchased from them, transmission failure happened. I only use the vehicle to commute work 70 miles a day. They said I had to pay for the towin of the vehicle to the dealer which is 60 miles away from my home. After a few phones calls they said they would have the vehicle towed within the next two days with no knowledge of time. This is my only vehicle and I lost my only means of transportation.

I bought a car from this dealership and paid upfront. The salesperson said they would mail me the title since I bought it after hours. It's been weeks and I still haven't received it. When I call, they always say, "We sent it with ***, you'll get it tomorrow." I asked for a tracking number, but they promise to email it and never do. I can't register my car with the DMV because I don't have the title, and my temporary registration is expiring soon. Also, a few days after getting the car, the side mirror fell off. They won't admit it or fix it. When I called last time, Gino cursed at me and hung up.
