On March 1, 2023 phone call to Trugreen to review 2023 costs. After a long discussion settled on a price to care for the grass and the stone areas. No aeration and over seeding was to be done as I did not want this every year. Paid an agreed cost on March 1, 2023.
Was notified by text that aeration would be done. I called and said I did not want aeration and I had not paid for it. I was told I already paid for it. I said I didn’t want it done if I hadn’t paid for it already. The agent checked and said I already paid for it.
August 23, 2000 received a bill. Called Trugreen and spoke with Alex and she said they will not refund the money as the job was already done. Alex told me I had two treatments left for this year and they were already paid for. I asked how I could believe her when the last agent told me the aeration had been paid for and then I got a bill. Alex wanted me to accept the last two applications, but I fear more charges, so I canceled the remaining two applications and any future care from Trugreen. She told me there was $140 remaining on the contract to do the last 2 applications, but I’m afraid of more charges.
At first, I thought this was fraud, and asked how they got my credit card, but she told me it was from some point in the past on easy pay.
I paid for what I wanted on March 1, 2023, but even with a follow phone call BEFORE the aeration, I was charge $332.81.
I feel a refund is warranted for the $332.81 as I declined this service twice and I’m sure if you listen to the recordings of my calls, you will hear my denials for service. I also should get the money I already paid $140.00, Alex said was left to do the last 2 applications.
My VISA credit card will be relaying our concerns about this charge.
I hope you will be able to see my frustrations with this entire process.
