They came out to respray.1 wk later my yard turned brown.grass died.calle several times.finally got to talk to someone, I wanted someone to come out to see .she stated a manager would call and come out.no call, no show.All i wanted is for someone to tell me what is going on.

Lawn service
This is the second time the service woman has left my back gate open. My little dog got out yesterday whilst I let her out to do her businesss. I am very upset as she is still lost. Lulu is deaf! Not happy with my service and will be canceling any further service with TruGreen.
Large amount of damage to my grass
Try green has cause considerable damage to my grass in front and back. After a number of complaints as noticeable negative or burning of my grass, finally a lead technician came out and took pictures and verbally agreed that under trugreens care this damage occurred. I am not real satisfied with Truegreen taking care of my weeds. I have called twice and they were suppose to call me back within 10 minutes in the respective order but no call back. Please have someone contact me and discuss my problem. Your complaint call in system is not adequate. If you don't have anyone man the phone, you should at least return a customers call, like you say you will. They said my wait would be 15 minutes and the first time I waited a 1/2 hour and no one answered me. The second time they said they would call me back, in the order I called in 15 minutes. Never happened.
Desired outcome: Expect a return call and some results on my weeds.
Property damage
On 8-5-21, the guy spraying my mosquito spray ran the hose against my tree, rubbing bark off and snapping the tree at base. I called and let them know what happened right away. I was told I would hear back in 24-48hrs. I have called several times since the 5th and keep getting different answers. I have revived one call asking for details and he said someone...

Irrigation system was damaged due to sod machine being used which I requested " do not do"- damage was done & discovered by yard maintenance personnel.
All I want is fix it, can't irrigate yard in 90 degree heat & TruGreen apparently can't respond-
My choice is video the fountain and post on Facebook, LinkedIn to demonstrate slackness of TruGreen
Cannot quit service
I did not renew my service with this company. You endlessly send me bills. Telephone calls sit on hold for an hour or more.
I do not want your service. I want your bills to end. My experience has been very poor
Tru maintenance plan…
First off let me say this is my 4th year with trugreen. This year I have pre paid for 6 treatments and I prepaid for a aeration in the fall.
My first service didn't happen until april. My second service was 3 months later in july and my 3rd was just last week (mid august). I've had to call and practically have had to beg for a more regularly scheduled services (which should be every 4 weeks). My last 2 services were by a tech named kevin boone and he is horrible. He drags his hose from the truck through my flower beds with total disregard for damages. He doesn't do a complete and thorough job snd his attitude is not good. He seems to not like his job much…I don't want him to do my yard anymore and quite frankly I am very close to terminating my services with trugreen. Your company has gone completely down hill over the past 1-2 years. The first 2 years I had a tech named paul whitman who was excellent but the last 2 years it seems to be someone different almost every time and the techs are not very good.
Desired outcome: My last treatment should be redone. I DO NOT WANT Kevin Boone doing my lawn. I expect a friendly knowledgeable tech who is familiar with my lawn.
Customer Service
Tru Green Administration needs to know something that is going on repeatedly with their customer service. When a call gets tight, the customer service reps will just hang up on you.
I used Tru Green in Florida and was pleased with the service but I had this issue with customer service. I used TG in Virginia and the service was satisfactory, but again I had this issue. I use TG now in Kentucky and there are serious customer service issues.
I have been overcharged several times. When I call to find out why, I get employees who just hang up on my. This is continuous problem and I don't think Administration is aware of this issue. If you the call gets tight, they just hang up. You guys should investigate.
So you call again, wait a long time to talk to CS, you get a great employee and you take the survey. The terrible ones who like to hang up on you don't get surveyed. Very convenient.
The good employees should be rewarded and the lazy ones should be booted.
Desired outcome: Monitor your customer service employees to see how many times they hang up on the customer.
Weed control
Why nobody is treating the weeds over the mulch on the front and the back yard? No one said it's not included! I'm so unsatisfied and the problem I feel I'm stuck bc I paid the whole season upfront. But they tricked me by not saying that part!

I am new customer, TruGreen had two times services for my lawn, they damage my lawn, and it get worse and worse, I asked manager come to talk to me face to face to say what we can do for the lawn, but never get any chance to talk to manager, and called so many times, just being told wait for somebody to call you, looks like we are not able resolve the problem.

I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out. I have a separate account for odd jobs I have done for the house. Account was empty! Service was scheduled for 2weeks out ! When speaking to customer service guy that was discussed, I was not adding money to this account for another weeks when appointment was scheduled.
The next day as I was coming home & passed them by as I was pulling in on my street. He left a service ticket so I called to confirm original appointment & when account was going to be drafted. Was informed account would not be drafted & would be getting a bill at that point I was to call & have account drafted.
Next day was called to confirm an appointment & that I was paid up!
Long story short, i had been put on auto pay when agreeing to the service, foolishly thought I was agreeing to service date & form of payment.
Now have an NSF fee & canceled service. They were not going to refund the NSF fee & continued to try scheduling next appointment.
No option but to cancel since original request would not be corrected. Now have to keep gate locked & look to be sure account is not drafted again since they do not seem to honor appointment dates or draft dates.
Desired outcome: Refund NSF fee & honor scheduling dates..

I have noticed after having two dogs recently die after eating grass and laying in the grass in my own yard after Tru green sprayed my yard, I did wait 3 to 4 days to let them in our grass after being sprayed. The first one died of kidney failure after laying in my own yard! She foamed at the mouth and couldn't walk all of the sudden! I got another dog thinking it was not the Tru-green spray that killed her . And then my second dog the same breed and she got cancer after being in my grass also and died with a respiratory problem and cancer! What are they using? They told me I would be fine with my second dog because they were using lighter chemicals! They lied! I've been heart broken losing both of my dogs because of them! I have canceled everything from them! They keep calling me to try to get me back! No way Tru -Green!
Desired outcome: $$$ my loss of my dogs and my mind.
Aeration seeding
1. Todays is 8/7/20021 and it's too early to overseeding in South jersey. Temperature for the next 2 weeks over 90 degrees.2. Nobody for TruGreen official number called me about service today.3. Two guys showed up at 7:30 in the morning and started aeration. I did not here them at first, because I was sleeping. at 8:30 I woke up and heard machines outside. I came outside asking what they are doing here and I did get any official call. I have 240 sprinkler heads which I never had a chance to mark. They were running over my sprinkler system for an hour and eventually damaged it. Did not even bother to ring a bell and ask about it.
One of the guys told me that he called me day before. I checked my phone and he he called at 2:29 PM from his personal phone and expected everything to be done. It takes a day to mark my sprinkler heads. When I saw them I sent them back and they did even finished what they stated.
Now I have damaged sprinkler system and bad looking lawn.
Desired outcome: repair damaged sprinkler and remove charge for incomplete service
Summer lawn care
Paid in advance for service. They haven't come out since May. Received two applications! I Leave message no one returns calls!
Needed Lawn Care Services
I called True Green on 8/5/21, spoke to a gentleman concerning someone to come out and look at our yard. The beginning of the conversation didn't start off right, he called himself educating me but was actually making me feel like we should have known how to take care of the Lawn, obviously didn't fully listen to what I was saying intially because he changed his tone after he listened to what I actually was saying. I had alot questions to make sure I understood what he was saying, so I could explain it to my husband. Apparently I was asking too many questions because he stated we are not getting anywhere. I felt that was rude and very unprofessional. I asked for his name, he would not give it to me, that is truly a red flag. I informed him because of his unprofessionalism, he just lost a potential customer. I was not able to get his name but I remember him stating he was in the NC Call Center/Office and the contact number I called was [protected] at 11:50am.
Price they quote is not TRUE!!
I would never recommend Trureen to anyone. There are many reputable lawn companies out there that don't misquote, mislead and intentionally charge extra every year. I was warned about this from two neighbors and exactly what they told me would happen did!
When you sign up with them they quote you and annual fee. They encourage you to prepay it which I did. One month before my annual renewal I saw a significant charge on my credit card from Trugreen. I assumed it was a mistake so I called. I called the local office and the main corproate number for them and both customer service representatives used the exact same language with me which was a scripted response to people calling with this complaint.
Basically they say that even though the quote was annual it is NOT annual. It is for X amount of services and apparently we got an extra service! One month before my annual renewal so i have ot pay for that. They said things such as you were told this and this is the norm for us. No to both of these! I was working with the salesman to get an ANNUAL quote to compare to other companies. I still have my notes. Not once was it even implied that there is a chance this isn't an annual payment!
So I say but wait, how did you get approval for this outside of my annual service? They don't need it. Where is teh email or letter saying that I recieved an additional charge this year? Where is the BILL showing i recieeved one? Firm answer to all of these is they dont' need approval!
How can this company be allowed to do this? Nothing in writing so they hope we don't catch it on our card!
This company is a scam. They lure you in and then sneak in charges. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
BTW I got no refund for the additional charge outside of my annual fee. They said it was already rendered and the credit card paid them.

TruGreen Tree and Shrub Service!!
I would like to file an official complaint about the tree and shrub service that I really didn't want, but was offered a huge discount, so I said okay, I'll try it! The offer was for fertilization of my trees and shrubs! This was in April! A young technician came out and must have sprayed EVERY WHERE, indiscriminately, because in July I had a HUGE overgrowth of everything! I have pictures to prove it! The manager who came later to investigate (AFTER THE OVERGROWTH HAD BEEN REMOVED) concluded that everything was fine! He would not LISTEN to my explanation of what happened and didn't look at the pictures of the overgrowth that had been removed! I AM 81YEARS OLD AND I DON'T THINK HE TOOK ME SERIOUSLY! I would appreciate a thorough investigation of what really happened!
Desired outcome: Just the satisfaction of him knowing I was right and that he ASSUMED he knew the circumstances when actually he didn’t!!
