I told him not to replace it, and he was like, "Sure, no problem." But then he calls me up and tells me to come get my wheels, but it's gonna cost me $425 for labor and parts for the thermostat. I'm like, "What the heck, man? I said no to that repair!" And he's all like, "Oh, I did it so you wouldn't have to come back, and it really needed fixing." He tells me to come pick it up and that he'll figure something out. Next thing I know, I'm getting a call about the bill or they're gonna send it to collections.

They worked perfectly from June until November . That's when the service department at Turlock Dodge did a software update, and since then, the mirrors don't retract anymore. I've been trying to get this fixed ever since, but the dealer and Chrysler just keep telling me that my truck never should have had that feature in the first place. They say they fixed it for me, but now I don't have retractable mirrors anymore. That's not a solution at all! I had those awesome mirrors for over 5 years, and I want them back!

This company is really deceptive and I give them an F rating. Other buyers should be careful because this company can't be trusted. The next day, we contacted our warranty and arranged for the truck to be towed to Turlock's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
Unfortunately, it took them a lengthy 2 1/2 weeks just to evaluate my truck. During this time, I had to rely on a rental car. Finally, they informed me that the warranty refused to cover the claim due to the presence of aftermarket parts. Specifically, my truck had a Banks air filter and a Banks tuner installed. I reached out to my service manager at the dealership, who admitted that they were unsure about the cause of the motor failure. All they had done was drop the oil pan and discovered metal fragments.
When I mentioned consumer protection laws, which require proof that the aftermarket part caused the failure, the service manager consulted his regional manager. Shockingly, the manager simply stated that he didn't need to prove anything; the mere presence of an aftermarket part was enough to deny the claim. All I want is for my truck to be fixed. It only has significant miles on it, and this EcoDiesel model is known for motor issues.
