Our techs Jonathan and Nick were awesome, they gave us choices and never made me feel pushed to purchase. We chose to go ahead with a fresh system and the installation was just as fantastic as the service we got, amazing!
My AC unit wasn't blowing cold air like it used to
My AC unit wasn't blowing cold air like it used to. I called United States Heating & Air Conditioning to come and check it out. They sent their advisor, Stephen ***, to see what was going on. He was really nice and told me everything I needed to know. He checked my AC unit, air ducts, and insulation really well. I thought I needed a whole new system, but after he finished the home energy assessment, he told me it was just a little wire that got loose. It was an easy fix. Thanks US HVAC for being honest! You did a great job! I definitely recommend them.
I used United States Heating & Air Conditioning Service for my home twice
I used United States Heating & Air Conditioning Service for my home twice. The first time was last winter to check my unit, and the service had a small fee. Last week, my A/C unit wasn't working well, so I called them. They came over in a few hours, and the technician said the unit needed a capacitor. They put one in, and the cost for "Carrier" capacitors ranges from $27.42 to $46.78. After the work was done, they said they would send the receipt to my email. The next day, my credit card had a $408.00 charge for the work. I never received a bill from them, and I called and complained about the cost and not receiving a bill. I asked for an itemized bill, but I still haven't received anything. My complaint is that changing a capacitor should not cost around $300. This is ridiculous!

USHAC- United States Heating & Air Conditioning, is a Southern HVAC Contractor 12/22 - Chris S, salesperson from USHAC comes to give us a quote for replacement of 3 AC systems and a hot water heater. Chris insisted we should hire USHAC because of their quality of service and so we agreed on a price (which was a LARGE sum of money) and for work to begin the next day. 12/23 - Employees installed incorrect air filters, incorrect thermostat, and a 3 ton unit where a 2 ton unit was supposed to be installed. When we noticed the major error about the completely incorrect unit being installed the employees said it was a free upgrade, and then began asking each other if the wrong unit was installed. After they left, we looked around and noticed several other errors with the install, including sloppy workmanship, issues with things not being to code, and in addition they left windows and gates open in our home. Their customer satisfaction guarantee states: "If Customer is not satisfied at any time during the twelve (12) months following the date the services are completed by Company, Company will promptly address and perform to Customer's satisfaction those issues regarding work performed by Company, or refund the service fee actually paid by Customer or remove the installed equipment and issue a refund of the purchase amount." Upon determining that the service provided did not meet our expectations, especially for such a large purchase, we called Chris that night and requested that the equipment be removed and that we would be looking for a different company to work with. USHAC representative Chris (salesperson) was uninterested in accountability for the multitude of issues and instead called it a miscommunication, blaming a Spanish speaking employee for installing the wrong unit. There were between 6-8 employees at our home for about 13 hours, it was not the fault of one singular employee, and it seems discriminatory to use the Spanish speaking installer as a scapegoat. All we have asked was that they fulfill their own contract and service agreement, and remove the equipment so that we could move on. The manager at the office, Ben, told us they would either charge us $1,700 to remove the equipment (even though most of it was incorrectly installed) or they would do it for free if we signed a non-disclosure agreement. An attorney advised us not to sign a NDA, as it seemed shady, potentially violates federal antitrust laws, and that the company is obligated to remove the equipment based on their own terms and conditions. Attorney also advised us to contact Todd Ulrich with Channel 9, and file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General, neither of which we have done, in hopes that the company would do the right thing. We asked USHAC to demonstrate some integrity and honor their contract; however, over the last THREE WEEKS we have repeatedly contacted USHAC, and when Ben actually decides to answer his phone (he is not available 90% of the time that we call), we were told they were checking with their attorneys and corporate office, instead of just doing the right thing. 1/14 - At this point we have been requesting for over 3 weeks for them to remove their equipment, but they have refused. As of today we were told that their GM's preferred method of resolution would be to leave the equipment and place a lien on our home. How many honest people have been taken advantage of, or coerced into silence via a NDA?

Company installed 3 ton unit where a 2 ton unit was meant to be, also installed the wrong air filters, and the wrong thermostat. The install that was actually completed was sloppy and did not meet our expectations. We have requested for USHAC to come and remove their equipment but they refuse unless we sign a non-disclosure agreement and alleviate them from any responsibility for damages they do to our property during the removal. Please help; we are fearful of retaliation and we just want the equipment removed so we can move on with our lives.
I hired this company to install new ductwork for a range vent I was having installed
I hired this company to install new ductwork for a range vent I was having installed. After months of waiting for parts that were supposed to be done in one day, they finally came to install. However, the installation couldn't be completed because all the parts were wrong. They messed up my soffit while trying to make the parts work. But my main issue is that during the installation attempt, they knocked my brand new custom cabinet, which the vent was going into, off the wall and damaged it. They took pictures and filed a report, and I was supposed to be contacted by their insurance company to cover the $1,700 expense of replacing the cabinet. However, I never heard from them, and Ben, the manager, won't return my calls. In the end, I had to hire another company, who came out a few days later and completed the entire job in about three hours.

3/9 I paid $2165 for the work, but it wasn't done because of N.O.C approval. I tried to cancel on 4/1, but they said it's not possible. Mr. K, I hope you're doing well and staying safe. I've been thinking about what happened during the coronavirus pandemic and our business transaction. Here's a timeline: I called U.S.H.A.C. of Orlando in the last week of February . On 3/4, they provided an estimate. On 3/9, they charged me half of the payment ($2165). On 3/13, you sent me the N.O.C copy to sign. On 3/13, I sent you an electronic copy. On 3/16, Carolyn B asked me to send the scanned copy again. On 3/18, I had to follow up because I hadn't heard from you. On 3/19, they asked me to send the hard copy with a wet signature. On 3/27, I followed up with an email since I hadn't heard back from you. Then I called your office, and your assistant said she would contact me on Monday, the 30th, to provide an update. She also mentioned that if I had changed my mind due to the long wait, I could cancel. On 3/30, you sent me an email apologizing for the delay, but you didn't mention that the permit was picked up. You only mentioned that you were still waiting for the N.O.C. On 4/1, I decided to cancel my agreement with U.S.H.A.C. Orlando. I called your cell, and you said you would talk to your manager and have me go through them to cancel. You mentioned that the permit was picked up and there was nothing that could be done. Please refund my money. I've been very patient, and due to financial hardship at this time, I can't do business with you. Thank you for understanding and being helpful, ***.
