Sales staff
We bought what we thought was an All Inclusive Package but we were sent the Vontract four days later, Sales Staff said their system was down when we purchased. They also said the 5 day grace period would start after we received the Contract. Lies. The package arrived in SPANISH even after we requested it be sent in English. We didn't figure out how to translate it until the fifth day, ehich we found out it was not what we had been sold or agreed to.
You assigned the Salesman that lied to us d the Mediator. He would not negotiate or reduce the cancellation fee. We had to pay half of the Contract Price to get to out of it even though we contacted him the next day, day 6 according to him, even though your offices were closed on the 4th if July.
Are you Sales People or Extortionists?
I am giving you one last chance to correct this and refund our money to that your Salesman extorted from us.
If you actually had a viable product you wouldn't have to lie to sell it. Do you have a viable Product, or are you just a Group of Theives and Liars?
Desired outcome: Refund the money your Salesman stole from us !

Vacation club membership
September 14th 2022
We decided to join the membership on our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. 3 days after purchasing before we left the resort after reading bad reviews and talking to another member there we decided to cancel. I went in explained I wanted to cancel I signed a cancelation form and they informed me it would take 30 days to process my request and my refund will follow. 5500usd was what we put down the day we signed the contract. I called vacation club today Oct 26th to find out where my refund was and I was informed there was no request to cancel and now it's too late to cancel I talked to Carlos supervisor of memberships based out of Miami Florida and he was no help. I'm trying to find a resolution before I take legal actions. But mostly I want to inform others thinking about getting into the membership to be aware of the situation
Desired outcome: Refund and cancel membership

Carlos MUST be part of a Cartel the way he blows off people's complaints and applies maximum penalties fir cancellation requests, even only a few days after the sale. The State Department needs to prosecute these EXTORTIONISTS !
Need to get out of this contract! Sales reps fed us a bunch of lies.
On Sept 13, 2022 at Secrets The Vine in Cancún, Mexico we were lied to during the sales pitch over and over. We were told we’d have 14 free nights anywhere in the AMR collection of resorts, $199 flights on Spirit or Frontier, and a $43 pp/pn cost at any of the AMR collection resorts. All lies! We were never told about the 5 day contract cancellation and once we got back home and I was able to print out the contract, I realized all the lies we were told. I tried calling our sales rep to which he answered once and fed me a bunch more lies. I’ve emailed all the emails I know of requesting clarification to which I’ve received little or no response with no clarification. I’m 8 days away from needing to post my first monthly payment, and I really don’t want to do that. I just need out of this contract. Can someone please help me?
Desired outcome: Contract cancelled.

Unlimited Robbers Club - SCAMMED OUT OF $100,000.00 !!!!
I was on vacation with my daughter at the Secrets resort in Mexico when a sales associate for UVC approached me with an offer “I could not resist”. He explained how when using your membership, the only fees that would be payable are the “food & beverage” resort fees which would amount to a max of $60/night for the most expensive resort in their inventory and cheaper for lower tier hotels.
As we travel internationally, he also promised us that the same benefits apply for hotels in Europe, Africa and Asia from their RCI collection. For a total of $100,000CAD, we’d have these benefits for 40 years including: a max of $60/night for our stays, access to yachts, family vouchers and access for up to 12 people at a time for the 40 years, etc. Thinking that we were getting an amazing deal as frequent travellers, I signed up and paid the first $25,000CAD.
I received the contract by email and the stipulations were wildly different from what the sales agent that preyed on me promised. At that same moment, I asked for the log in info (whilst still in Mexico) to confirm the price the hotel stays truly are. I’ve sent an email to the team and they advised that the log in info should be received within the next 5 days. Please keep in mind that the cancellation period expires 5 days after the signing of the contract. Once the log in received 7 days after signing, my daughter looked for resorts and played around with the site to see how much a week’s vacation would amount to. Low and behold, the cheapest stay amounted to $1,600 which is very different from the $420 that we were told it would cost.
In a panic, I called UVC to get more clarification as to why the contract and website are completely different from what the sales person promised. The customer service agent advised that they’re not sure what the sales person told me but that essentially, I WAS PAYING $100,000 TO ENSURE THAT I RECEIVE A 25% DISCOUNT ON EACH OF MY STAYS FOR 40 YEARS. As if Expedia and other travel sites didn’t exist! I am flabbergasted at how they even thought that a 25% discount would ever amount to $100,000!
I called my bank and advised that I was defrauded and asked that the transaction be reversed because I was scammed. The bank reimbursed however, they advised that there was a possibility that I might have to still pay the initial deposit of $25,000 if UVC comes back with proof that I wasn’t defrauded. Well, that day has come and they are lying saying that I used their services when I absolutely haven’t.
People, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM! Do your due diligence as I should have done. A quick search on google would’ve warned me about their unethical thieving selves. I trusted my sales person so much that I didn’t even think to check and was advised anyway that I could cancel at any time without fees.
To UVC, please understand that I’d rather spend $100,000 in litigation fees in a lawsuit than let you get away with robbing me out of $25,000. You should operate with more integrity and have your sales people tell the truth. The things promised were so different from what we are getting that we absolutely will NOT sit here and let you get away with it. You’re better off writing-off this amount as a loss because you will do right by us. We’re looking forward to having you resolving this issue.

Its a scam. Warning!
We went to Mexico in February 2022, to a great resort and they cornered us to do this presentation.
We were pressured and assured that this is a legit company, but its not. All the claims made were invalid, and the discounts they promised are not so. I have been harassed, pressured and threatened by them. We were not informed of the 5 days cancelation policy, our policy was emailed 10 days after...how convenient for them. Our computer membership login was unavailable for 30 days , again purely convenient for them. What am I paying for? Its a scam. I intend to report this to the Mexico business administration for tourists. I also contacted 7 on your side, and will report to the news. I am very upset that I am constantly being threatened by this UVC. Also, I contacted them multiple times to cancel, to come to sum sort of agreement and all they did was yell at me, and very rudely decline any way out.
Desired outcome: I want to cancel this so call membership and I don't want to receive anymore phone calls.

UVC
Not happy with this timeshare. We were lied to and taken advantage. We were told they were going to pay and get rid of our other timeshare in exchange for this one. We ended up stock with both. UVC says that they have better rates at a whole sale price, they don't. I can find a better deal, with airplane tickets through costco. Very unhappy and don't want to keep on paying for these renewal fees that keep going up each year. Upsetting!
Desired outcome: To get rid of UVC.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Membership
My husband and I purchased a membership with UVC in August of 2019, right before the COVID-19 pandemic. We have tried to extend our membership due COVID-19 health related issues and they have relentlessly harassed us for payment when travel wasn't safe and have refused to extend our membership. Additionally, they are threatening to send us to a collection agency for nonpayment when we have tried repeatedly to negotiate with them. I would NEVER recommend this membership or company to anyone! They're money hungry and have to care for their members health and safety. Juan Bautista has harrased us on a daily basis with his threatening email and reporting us to the collection agency.
Desired outcome: Want the balance and renewal fees to be waived and the contract ended.

Vacation share
August 16, 2022
My husband and I took a trip to Cancun to celebrate our anniversary. We were offered "leisure cash" to attend a presentation of the resorts "vacation club". The opportunity to pay for an excursion for simply attending a presentation was too much to pass up. Thus began our nightmare. The resort we were taken to was incredibly beautiful "Secrets Akumal". While there we had breakfast and spoke with a sales rep. It was very pleasant. We toured on of the rooms we would be staying in if we joined the club. Once the tour was over, we met in a conference room. There were many couples there speaking with reps. It was presented to us that if we joined the club we would be "pre-paying" for upcoming vacations. Our monthly payments would accumulate so we could take a vacation like the one we were on once a year. We were told we could look on other sites and if we found a cheaper price, the club would honor that price and pay us 25% of the difference. Otherwise we would be allotted $1000 for our flight, if it was more we had to pay the difference. Otherwise we could go to any resort in their chain once a year (not during "high season" Dec 16-April 14). We were hesitant the "too good to be true" (should have listened to our guts) feeling. They kept throwing incentives at us-cruise discounts, discounts to hotels in the US. They kept lowering the price. Finally we said, ok. We told them what we understood and they said yes that is correct. They rushed paper work through and popped a bottle of champagne. We were told we would receive an email with instructions about how to use our vacation cub. Once we were home I received the email and was horrified that we were totally lied to. We have to pay our monthly fee. Plus pay for the vacation! Plus flights! Completely lied and misrepresented what this club is. I immediately reached out to the company. Was told to email indicating the situation and someone would call me. Of course no phone call. I continued with emails and phone calls. I was finally responded to with a we will cancel your membership but you forfeit the down payment you put down. ($820) After reading many of the reviews here we are lucky it's only $820. Sadly I work two jobs to provide for my family. We were so excited to begin to see how we really could travel. I am so disgusted with this company. I hope other people read reviews before purchasing something like this. We were suckered in due to our emotions.
Desired outcome: To be done with this company and get reimbursed our $820 down payment.

Unlimited Vacation Club
I have been waiting several weeks to get a resolution to yet another problem I am having with Unlimited Vacation Club. I have a service advisor and he has his assistant. I write them and they ignore my requests for explanations to emails I get from them. They send you emails and when you question them they dont get back to you. I already complained once about another issue and that was finally resolved with much stress and much aggrevation. So I can say they throw you a bone to make sure you dont say anything further. Then when they repeat the same bad behavior by ignoring the client and you request a response they ignore you again as you have a valid reason to reach out to the support person in charge of your membership. I am not sure what is wrong with him or her but as a business professional I feel the efforts are below stella and would think about how we get treated as members as I paid my membership in full. I went on (4) Trips and all I had gotten is mistakes and mishaps on the part of the Unlimited Vacation Club. I thought that now that Hyatt owns this company they would be put into shape but Hyatt pruchased pig iron. You cant fix people who just dont care.
Their predatory mis represented vacation packages
This company is a complete scam. Beware when you go on vacation to any resort and are approached by these scammers. They will tell you all kinds of lies to get you to sign up for a product that offers nothing in return. Then their collections Dept will harass you day and night with all kinds of threats. Do yourself a favor and run as far away from these people as you can.
Especially this person who is terrible

Has been trying to extort money now by threatening to ruin my credit after I refuse to be part of this scam. I want them to cancel this as I have asked for many times and would like a refund provided from this company for the dishonesty in selling this product. I will not ever be a part of unlimited vacations of the Dreams Resorts again until this is rectified.

Vacation contract
Signed Contract August 29, 2002 # DQ1-001477
Called Unlimited Vacations on September 2nd within our 5 day contract cancellation period.
From September 2nd to present, no response on cancellation and reimbursement. I've spoke to 4 people at Unlimited Vacations and emailed unlimitedvactionclub.com:
[protected]@unlimitedvacationclub.com and adm.[protected]@unlimtedvc.com. All documented.
Was verbally told a QA department would email regarding refund. Another told me I had to contact the hotel which houses the sales team and speak to them. I tried and tried. Could not get through to them. I also have our sales girls number and reached out to her, after explaining we canceled, no response. Getting the run around.
I'm surely not warm and fuzzy with this outcome. Now I'm reading bad reviews. We were within our legal cancellation and I cannot get one person to to respond. Claim court I guess. Any help would be appreciated. We put down 5,899.00 immediately on the day we signed. We want our refund and cancellation acknowledged. We are fully aware of our rights to cancel.
Sincerely,
Regina McDaniel

Waste of time and money. Everything that they promise you is a LIE! The only reason we purchased the membership is because we fell in love with the swim out suite at secrets los cabos. But when we try snd book a trip they tell us that our membership doesn't qualify for a swimout suite. They said you can purchase flights, but fir some reason flights are never available! It's bern almost 3 years and I want out! Please help

Complaint
I have been trying to work out my issues with this company. I get to a point that we can resolve the issues and we are all good. They state that they are going to give us what we believe to be one thing and it winds up to be something else after we agree to it. All we ask is honest clarification and commuinication and that is again what we are not getting. Its way too hard to work through this and we are at a point of a $200.00 disagreement and they wont negotiate any further. They say take it or leave it. I already consulted a contract attorney and said I will try to work it out on my own but he is to wait for my direction to proceed further. I just dont understand why these people cant seem to work things out. It will cost more for everyone in the long run.
Shame on the fact that we are at odds. These days its a good customer service
that gets to be the best company not any other way. This is america what happend to those days that companies cared about their customers. Very bad.
Desired outcome: They stick with what they agreed in the beginning or give something with the same financial value to make up for the $200.00 difference.
The Unlimited Vacation Club addressed my issues without problem and have met their obligations as a
customer orriented company. Thank you

Membership
In June my husband and I went to a resort and met with them about membershio. We told them we wanted to go to Japan and there are no resorts there so they gave false information abot the discounts through rci and Lifestyle collections to get us to sign up. They did not give us an account with these organizations until after day 10 but only give 5 days to cancel. When we finally were allowed to see the actual discounts, they were half of what they quoted. Terrible deal. Even though we had a picture of everything they wrote down, they kept the $860 deposit although we told them we wanted to cancel after only two weeks. Would NEVER trust them with anything again
Desired outcome: I would like our $860 deposit we got nothing from back. We were deceived into signing ip

Products and Services
There has been a mass amount of data given to Unlimited Vacations and there is a whole lot of people in the company hiding from responsibility of answering the vast majority of my complaints. I have stated I am seeking legal council and this will be going to a court of law for a resolution as no person is willing to handle the issues I have had over the last years of having this vacation club.
ENOUGH!
The Unlimited Vacation Club addressed my issues without problem and have met their obligations as a customer orriented company. Thank you
Scammed and lied to by jeff, unlimited vacation club sales person
Scam alert! Do NOT trust these people! We were completely lied to by the sales representative, Jeff, at Dreams Vallarta Bay. We have been trying to fight it with Unlimited Vacation Club but they keep stating nothing is not wrong with the contract. Our issue is not with the contract but with their sales representative, Jeff, who completely sold us the membership on false pretenses using high-pressure sales tactics and bait and switch. We are seeking legal counsel.
Easy to spot him: Jeff is a short Caucasian man in his early 50’s, with a lazy eye. He claims to be a family man from southern CA, living in PV for 10 years. I feel it’s important to give his description in case he changes his name for scams.
We met Jeff the first day of our stay by the pool. He asked us how we liked the resort and we said that we have stayed at other Dreams resorts in Cancun. We told him that we had just come from Sunscape Puerto Vallarta which was just down the road. We had a miserable experience as that resort was extremely dirty and just gross. We explained to Jeff that we had to pay for the night we stayed +2 additional nights penalty for the two rooms we had booked, costing us approximately $1300 in extra charges, not to mention the cost of moving to the new resort, Dreams Vallarta Bay. We told him that we had stayed at other Dreams resorts in Cancun. Jeff asked us just to come talk to him for 15 minutes about the vacation club membership and if we decided to purchase a membership that he could refund that extra $1300 we had to pay in penalty nights at Sunscape.
We did meet with Jeff and ended up purchasing a membership based solely on the fact that he was going to refund the $1300. I told Jeff I was uncomfortable signing a contract without that being in writing. He assured us we would get the refund but because it didn’t have anything to do with the price of the membership he could not put it in the contract. I told Jeff that I needed the refund right away because I could not have all of those charges on my credit card at the same time. Jeff said trust me, it’s my number one priority, I’ll get it taken care of. He even went so far as to walk into the membership room, pretend to talk to a head boss, and come back stating that the $1300 refund was absolutely no problem. Jeff said we are now family. He claimed to have a child around our son’s age and even said we should vacation together sometime.
We began texting Jeff two weeks upon returning home. Dozens of text messages went back-and-forth with us asking about the refund and Jeff stating it was his number one priority and he would get it taken care of. We finally texted asking if he had at least an ETA on the refund and that it needed to happen right away or we wished to cancel the membership. Jeff then completely ghosted us and did not return any more text messages. This is when we reached out to Unlimited Vacation Club explaining the situation, providing proof of the text messages, and they are still stating that because nothing was wrong with the contract or written in the contract about the $1300 refund that there is nothing they will do. We wanted the vacation membership because we travel and we like to stay at Dreams Resorts, but we were not going to sign without that $1300 refund.
Unlimited Vacation Club is willing to let this scam artist, Jeff, continue to work for them and possibly scam other people. Who knows how many other people they have working for them that are doing the same thing.
We are retaining legal counsel against both Unlimited Vacation Club and Jeff for recourse. Jeff is disgusting and is a predator. Wish us luck. I sure hope this might save you from making the same mistake and trusting this guy Jeff who seemed so sincere.
Desired outcome: I would like the $1300 refund promised to us by signing the contract.
Cancellation of Membership & Refund
My family had vacationed to Cozumel, Mexico from July 25th to July 29th, 2022 . At July 26th we attended a presentation at Sunscape Sabor cozumel, Mexico. We were told about a lot of benefits of becoming a member of Unlimited Vacation Club. We signed a contract, Membership type: WHITE PEARL Exchange nights: 280 Term: 15 years.
we paid $249.00 on the spot, with an arrangement to pay $1000 on July 30th 2022 and another $1000 stipulated for August 31th, 2022. When we returned to the U.S and studied in detail the contract, we found it doesn't suit us. For we need to restructure our finance. So on August 10th, 2022. An email was sent for cancellation of our membership. I also contacted the Unlimited Vacation Club customer Service about the cancellation request. The email was confirmed received and that other team will reach-out to me about the it. We received a call on August 11th, and an email was received today August 12th, 2022. This e-mail is to let you know that we already proceeded with the Cancellation of your White Pearl Membership EC1-004560 and all the commitments and future payment obligations with Unlimited Vacation Club. In accordance with the clause "FIFTEENTH. EARLY TERMINATION" of the contract, the cancellation will proceed without refund.
Desired outcome: Please refund $1249 already paid. Thanks for your anticipated consideration.

Scammed us $3500 + and breach of contract
Last June of 2021 we went to isla de mujeres for our 25th wedding anniversary to the Zoetry resorts. We were literally bombarded by the UVC to just give them 1-2 hours of there time and
We wouldn’t be forced to buy anything but they will get mad for two free spa treatments just for their time. We continue to say no until they finally coerced us to do it. We talked down to the smallest plan but I still regretted it. We tried to cancel it in the five day. But by the time we got back from our trip and I couldn’t get a hold of anybody and it was past five days. In the meantime I’m having to pay $3500 towards a credit card they convinced us to apply for to cover the first part of our contract. my husband and I finally decided to use call to use the free offer we had to use within the first 6 months on vacation club we was told there was never a 4 nights stay for 4 people at any of the resorts on our offer. Since then we trying to use it for other offers that was in our contract and was told that we were not able to use it until we paid the full amount that we owed on the contract. This was never something that was told to us and is not in my contract. We are now in collections and refused to pay the remainder of the vacation club. Please help I want my $3500 back.
Desired outcome: $3500 refund and release us from contract
AMR / RCI Vacations
In January 2019 we traveled to Cancun, Mexico and was invited to tour an AMR resort. I was in graduate school so my partner and I opted for a package Original Amount: $3,000.00USD loan which we paid and told that after 24 months we would be able to use it. I also had to pay $151 to keep my membership active and another $250 to renew my RCI membership. We were given 2 weeks free to use after that time to book complimentary AMR resort stays and an RCI membership but had to pay to renew it. The points were 'deposited' into the RCI account and supposedly we could book travel paying a $259 exchange fee via RCI and pending verification from UVC the travel reservation would be honored. You are given a 24 hour grace period to cancel however the verification is not evidently automatic. RCI suggests you contact UVC to verify in a timely manner and when I called they said I had to give them an additional $250 for each transaction. They also tell me that my promotional weeks have expired and that my RCI points will expired for 4 weeks/ reservations by the end of August 2022, No extensions due to covid. Now I have paid $3-4k and can get nothing for my money. I am extremely dissapoint by this scam!
