My experience with Veritas. I have their warranty on my 2014 BMW 650i Gran Coupe. Had a fuel pump fail. Diagnosed immediately by the mechanic. Veritas kept going back and fort about what codes they needed to see. Once they decided to cover the replacement they wanted to use a cheap after market replacement. I bought one of their plans for my Mercedes GL450, and in the long run I’m glad I did. Not only did they cover small things that ended up outweighing what I paid for the plan, they also listened to the dealership when they said my car needed a new turbo; which when replaced in ours requires replacement of the tubes etc.
That would have been $19k in repairs. Lucky for them someone hit us and totaled our vehicle, but the fact that after checking that we followed their policy to do all routine maintenance (which we did) they stood by their plan and had the dealer bringing in parts! Very impressed. Will use them again if our next dealership offers them. If they don't I'd suggest they offer it or look into offering their plans (since apparently you can only sign up through a dealer). That's kind of a drawback.
Recommendation: Make sure you do your maintenance at the dealership. Seems like they may decline coverage if you don't.
