My daughters and I went to Wawa to order food. My daughter got on line with 3 customers ahead from a self-service register. The manager Sam handed my daughter her order, I ordered a few mins after because I was walking around shopping for other items. I ordered from the self-service register as well, when it was time to hand me my food the manager Sam told to pay upfront. I asked Sam why? The other customer who ordered before us were handed their food without paying the clerk first. Sam’s response was“ people walk out without paying “. I told Sam why didn’t she ask my daughter (who is just as white & light skin as Sam herself, as well as the 3 customers) to pay first before handing them their food. Jack, a clerk working with Sam jumped in the conversation and said“ he wasn’t able to give me my order because suddenly something was wrong with the register therefore I had to pay upfront. Manger Sam, jack & coworkers were all racially profiling us, insinuating we might walk out without paying. We were the only Hispanics Americans customers everyone else was white Americans it was disgusting disrespectful and humiliating, please address your employees!
Desired outcome: PLEASE ADDRESS YOUR EMPLOYEES RACIAL PROFILING IS DISGUSTING!!!!!
