I just received my statement from my visa card and there is a couple of $ 16.95 unknown charges from WC *Value Plus. I never had any dealing made with this merchant and I don't even know who they are.

There is quite a number of similar complaints regarding this merchant (If they Even Exist) and seem no one could ever tell how to stop this company from scamming. The person on the other side of the 800 number is a no help. This is very frustrating and aggravating. Anyone out there who could help?

I have after receiving overdraft charges noticed several unauthorized charges. I have called [protected]) and complained, was told the account was closed and that i would receive a form to be reimbursed for the unauthorized charges. I called last week to ask about not receiving this form, I was told it was mailed 5/5/07 and as of today 5/26/07 I have not received this form. My bank did cancel and reissue a new debit card, but can not reimburse the overdraft charges until I get this form from the company, nor can they begin a fraud investigation until i have this form. HOW does one deal with kind of abuse? How do you get these people to refund the money they took without authorization?

Sincerely
Minnetta David

I have been schemed by WC VALUE PLUS and don't want to waist my time complaining about it. I want my money back, so who do I get a hold of? These Thieves should be prosecuted and sent to jail after I get my money back.

i ordered an item over the tv. without my permission my debit card # was released to wc *value plus. this has gone on for several months and i finally realized what was going on. i called the #[protected] and spoke to someone named Cody. i questioned him reguarding this charge, and asked him how they were able to get my card#. he asked if i had ordered anything off the tv, which i had.
to be rembursed for the charges, i have to wait and recieve papers to fill out from them and it will take a around 6 to 8 weeks for a refund.
because of this leak of information i am going to cancel my debit card, and wait for the bank to issue a new card.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THE TELEVISION. THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU.

I have their Phone Number Ya'll but it doesn't get you anywhere except to cancel the account with them that we never signed up for in the first place. [protected]
Well I can see that I'm not the only one that screwed by these guys - 16.95 a month for 16 months before I caught it - Value Plus looked like the name of a gas station to me - I figured it was my husband stopping for a couple packs of smokes and a soda or something - When I called the number I've listed for you all - the woman that answered was extremely rude and had nothing to say other than she would cancel my account and send me a form in the mail i could fill out for a full refund (yeah like it will be that easy). So i am lodging this complaint and then i am going to contact the local authorities as well as my bank to inform them of this fruadulent company so that they can warn the members of their bank. This is rediculous - I can't believe there are people out there doing this - but I'm gonna fight like hell to get my money back - and I'm offering now for anyone that wants me to talk to them about this or what can be done to stop it that you comment on here and we'll set that up. Good Luck everyone!

I was charged $16.95 for unknown membership. I called the 1-800 number associated with the bank and she gave me a P.O. to write and send the proof of the amount coming out of my bank account, but I never authorized anything to do deducted from my account. Once, months and months ago, I did some trial membership for $1.00 and suddenly this amount was taken out of my account in November. They said it was a discount entertainment club.

I have fallen into the same problem. My charges were 19.95 twice a month for 6 months. I have tried to contact the company and keep getting the run around. I was also told that I would be receiving a form to fill out for a refund, but guess what, it never came. Even after they told me the accounts were closed I still was charged. I have called several times and not one single person can tell you anything. I have contacted my bank and changed my account numbers, but I want my money back... Has anyone been able to get their money back?

They charged my card on four different occasions in the amount of about twenty dollars each, this was after i had cancelled the membership. They said they would credit me back but instead i received a letter asking why i think they owe me money.

Oh my God! I know exactly how you feel! Two days ago, I had just re-loaded my empty Mastercard/Debit account with $100.00 to pay some bills easier online. I swear, not 2 minutes later, there were two charges:
WC *VALUE PLUS-V
[protected] ,MN
Terminal: [protected] -$24.95

WC *FUNSOURCE MNTHLY-V
[protected] ,MN
Terminal: [protected] -$ 24.95

I wanted to CRY! How is it so easy for credit card accounts to just be charged on with unrecognized names and without any authorization by the cardholder? My Mastercard company did reluctantly (because it's a Debit card) take both of the charges off my account yesterday after calling them. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT? Yes, the charges were again added back to my card by the same company, as if to say HA HA. I wish we could do something more about this fraudulent activity. But, I think there is more of a hassle trying to get the charges taken off, then it was for them to be charged in the first place!

I have been getting a $19.95 charge on my account for a year. I called the phone number and asked what this was for and the told me when I bought something off T.V. or the internet I had signed up for this discount on dining and entertainment. They couldn't tell me what I had bought, that they are only a cancellation center. I did not sign up for this service.

I too have had a charge show up on my statement. The amount is $16.95 and showed up this month and last month on the 16th. I tried calling [protected] and they are closed (today is Sunday). The recording said I could contact them at www.programs.com so I will try this avenue. I have no idea what this charge is about but plan to give someone a piece of my mind.

I have several charges on my credit card for this WC VALUE PLUS company and I did not authorize these charges. After some diging I have found nothing but complaints about this company. I finally found a number posted for them and the lady I spoke with told me that she was sorry for the trouble and they would cancel my account. I continued to explain to her that I never signed up for this service and I never gave them my account number to us either and I also told them that they were running a scam ...She says we will se you a complaint form and ater reviewing we will decide whether or not to return your money and thanked me. I want to know how can we put a stop to companies like this ?

We too were charged two months in a row, with charges we did not authorize, by WC Value Plus. We were more than puzzled about these charges. When we called the Customer Service Representative immediately agreed to credit our account for two months charges. We inquired how this could have happened? Her reply was (quoting out of context) if you ever ordered on-line or ordered and item you saw on television it prompted this charge. Not a good explanation. We have always felt safe ordering on-line. Now we question the safety of the internet. We are aware to look for the safety lock when ordering. Which is what we have always done.

Yep. I was ripped off too. To the tune of $153.05. I didn't catch it the first withdraw. So they had a ball. I will turn them in to the BBB in the morning. I went to my fiancial institution, which is a credit union. They have gone to bat for/with me. There has to be a way to stop these thieves. Anyone have an idea, count me in. I'll be happy to assist. Good luck.

call them at [protected] and tell them you are unhappy and want your money back. I did that and got all 3 months credited back. They are a "discount club", also calling themselves "FunSource" that you unwittingly agree to when ordering something you saw on TV. Be careful in the future or order the same thing safely from QVC or HSN.

I order things from time to time on the internet and on the telephone using my debit card. Somehow this WC Value Plus gets my info and uses it to get money saying they offered me a gift card and I accepted however I have never received a gift card I was told tonight I have to 'ask' for this card. I want to know how I can stop this company from having access to my debit card if I order something so I want to pay cash and not use a credit card I feel this is my business not for them to steal from me.

I have been going around with WC Value & TimeLife for about 1.5 months. Didn't realize that I was being charged $16.95/month on my Target VISA since Jan 2007 until July 2009. This charge was located on the 2nd page of my statement which I didn't realize until recently since I have been unemployed. The charge originated in 11/06 when I saw an ad on the TV for TimeLife's "Malt Shop Memories" @ approx $125.00. The set of CD's were ordered on the telephone and not on my computer. The telemarketer that took my order insisted on sending me other products and I was adamant that that I did not call to order any product except the Time Life CD collection. I have done business with Time Life for years and am EXTREMELY disapointed with this scam that has occurred.

I did not know what WC Value charge for $16.95/month was for so I called the number on my Target VISA statement [protected]. The operator told me that I joined the WC Value Plus Memebership. Never heard of it and she explained it was for discount travel, bowling, etc. They said they would have my telephone recording that I ordered it and/or that I filled-out the information on-line @ time of my order with Time Life. I would never join any membership and nothing was ordered on-line. It has been 2-weeks and they still haven't sent proof of this telephone confirmation because it never happened. I too, have been SCAMMED and there should be a law passed and restitution awarded.

I plan on sending copies of my correspondences to NYS Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo and filling out a complaint with his office and a complaint will be filed with "[redacted].com". These erroneous WC Value charges total $$525.45 which were billed to my Target VISA with no knowledge or authorization on my behalf. I never received anything in the mail regarding these discounts coupons or information either. I realize that I should have been monitoring my Target VISA charges more closely, but never thought this would happen to me.

Please feel free to contact the company at [protected] to inquiry about the charges.
I to was scammed and I got this number from my bank. I called the number. Itold them do not take anymore money out of my account because I had not authorized the transaction. She took me off of their list. Apparently when you order something off of the web, somehow you end up with a membership to value plus. Value plus is a company that will get you discounts on things and the first charge was 1.95 in Feb. this last charge was for 24.95. anyway. I told them they had better not charge my account again or I would take action against them.
