I received a call from a guy yEster day around 12pm requiring about the General Manager position I applied for. He went on a schedule the interview for 8-17 at 1pm in Red Oak, Tx. I asked him for the address he stated it's right off the Freeway but I will give you a call later on to give you the address. I waited all day for the address. Was really excited about the interview. I've heard nothing but good things about the company so I was super excited to interview. As the day past I realized he never returned my call it just thought he was very busy and he will get back to me. Todayou I called the young man 3 times left voice message you know just to confirm the time and get the address. He sent me to VMWARE every single time. I wasked heart broken because coming from a KNOWN company such as yours I thought it would have been a little more professional. I understand if you wasn't able to answer at the time of call but to not even respond and just let a person know what's going on is very unprofessional I expected so much more from Whataburger management. I've went into store and have witnessed it on several occasions but never did I imagine it would come from the upper management. I really has big hope for the company and loowed forward to bring my management skills and experience to the company. I honestly hope that this review change how WHATABURGER management team is ran.
Customer Service
My husband and I was just eating at Whataburger in Brewton Alabama. Or order was took for dine in. Savannah was the front counter server. She brought our food out in a take out bag. I let her know that it was for dine in. I my husband asked her to place it on a tray. She turned to me and said no but she will bring one out and I can do it myself. This is horrible customer service. The food is expensive and I will not come to a restaurant and pay my money for service with an attitude. I don't feel like the manager will do anything about her attitude. Now my husband does not and will not be returning.

I go to Whataburger quite often and I never have a problem except in one location. My problem location is Whataburger #86 in Tyler, Tx. I went in yesterday and ordered my food 2 #2 combos with avocado, cheese, jalapeños, and a kid meal. My burgers where plain no avocado, one cheese, and mustard that I didn't ask for. I requested a buffalo sauce and was told I needed to make another transaction because they have to charge, all other locations give it to me free after I order as courtesy. My order arrived and no sauce was on my plate, many fries were black burned, and my burgers were the biggest shame I've ever seen. I have let things slide here so many times but the employees are so lazy now . My cashier was Keila very rude to me but kind to males who walked in. This is just awful behavior and service.

So I was 3 months in Mexico and I came back wanting a whataburger every time I go I get the chicken strips a burger and onion rings those can't miss so I go from very far away and they always mess up my order I call and all the manager says is she can give me credit for the onion rings I'm very upset because I spend my gas and time and she just wants me to go back for that? And she can't even apologize I'm so mad

Today is Sunday August 6th 2017. I was at the what a burger in pensacola fl, at the corner of burgess and davis. I ordered a sausage bob combo with a power aid, a grilled chicken sandwhich combo whata sized with a water, and two chicken bites combos. It all came upnto 26 dollars and some change. I was given my drinjs and told to pull up and my food would be right out. I pulled up and waited then i realized it had been quite a bit of time that passed by so i looked for my recipect the time on it wad 1025 it was now 1045 i walked inside to find my food was given to someone esle. I was pressed for time and asked for a refund the manger said that she put it back and gave me a card for a free meal. I left hungry and disappointed. I just want to bring this to your attention so maybe they can come up with a system so it doesnt happen again
a simple cup of coffee
August 2, 2017 I ordered a medium coffee in drive thru as usual paid for it and drove off, now first thing wrong the girl didn't great or mention have a good day which I find odd anyway as I proceeded to prepare my coffee I noticed it wasn't hot but barely warm . I tasted it and was extremely disappointed due to the coffee was really bad must have been a day old not sure but it was the nastiest coffee ever ... ok so no big deal I drive back to the location go to drive thru again tell the girl this is really nasty can I have another she agrees a brings another I ask is this fresh she says yes barely 10 minutes ago I say ok thanks drive off again park in the lot check the coffee and to my surprise it's the same nasty coffee as the first I can't believe she gave me the same coffee after I mentioned it was no good I proceeded back to drive thru stop a lady asked if she's the manager she mentioned yes one of them I explain the problem she says go park I said no thanks I just wanted to mention the bad experience I just had with your store I go to drive thru one last time tell the girl can I have my money back this coffee is no good only then does another lady comes to the window offers another coffee freshly brewed I decline saying no just give me my money back the manager comes to the window and says this coffee is fresh again I decline due to the fact this is not my first encounter with a coffee problem the difference is usually I am told we are making a fresh batch do you mind waiting I would have waited with no problem but the girl assured me the second time around and it wasn't, that's when she should have told me if I mind waiting for a fresh brew instead of being dishonest I know it seems like no big deal but I was off that day from work so I had the time to go back but if it was a work day, it would have started out wrong last but not least I wasn't even given the right change the coffee was 1.67 I was given 1.45 not only was I lied to but cheated as well even though it's only .22 cents just imagine how many people this might be happening to that's when small change Adds up . Signed very disappointed end up driving an extra 15 miles to another location treated, greated with quality along with have a nice day which only took about 5 minutes now I have a new location which I don't mind the extra 15 miles knowing that great service is not easy to come by this I say I've been in customer service for more than 12 yrs and I always go out of my way for my customers

Waited in the drive through for over 20 minutes and was forced to come inside after ordering. Gave me the wrong order the first time I came into the store. After reviewing my order noticed 7 items were missing. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that has always been relatively good. I believe the mangers name was Jessica on duty I believe. The staff was very compliant but I am very dissatisfied and will probably have to look to another fast food service on the next occasion.

We ordered food at whataburger restaurant #933 in league city, tx at 7:39 p.m we were the only ones in the drive tru after waiting ten minutes they told us to pull around after another ten minutes they came out and they gave us the wrong order we had to go inside and wait for our fish sandwich to be made so another ten minutes we got home and the frys and burgers were cold and all had bad tomatoes and our buns were soggy this is the first time ever eating at a whataburger that we have had this issue this was the first time we went to this location we will not be going back to this location...

Isn't Whataburger open 24 hours, 7 days a week? Well I guess I missed the memo about the dining room being closed from 3 am to 6 am and only the drive thru is 24 hours. But what about the people who do not have a vehicle. And Whataburger is not allowed to serve people through the drive thru that are walking. I think that is very inconsiderate for people who do not own a vehicle. Even McDonald's serves people walking through the drive thru. Can you please change your policy back to the dining room being open 24 hours, PLEASE. THANK YOU
lobby and drink machine
While I was waiting for my food I heard the manger on duty telling the employee to use contender to clean the drink machine and the coffee pot . There lobby table was also smelling like they used bleach on it. One of the employee even said they should not use bleach on the drinking machine and the manger replied I don't care just do it. So definitely this store is not safe to eat .

Today I went to whataburger and I ordered a number one with onion rings and a drink I was standing in line when the manger came out of the yelling at the employees as if they where dog that was un acceptable I am a work at McDonald's and a manger and how she was talking to her employees was outrageous and rude everyone could here her in the lobby then the funny thing about it is whataburger has a side that has pride love and respect right on the window that was not implied by this women what so ever when I ask the lady for her name to make a complaint she turned around and pointed to her chest and said don't you see my name tag.Just rude if she does not like her job then maybe she should find another one because from what I seen she is a rude and a unpleasant women

All 5 meals were cold and too fried to eat. This Whataburger #3 on Leopard street needs to be shown how to keep food fresh and hot meals and also learn to fry onion rings without frying them to a crisp.. this will be the last time I eat there.. disgusting.. We sat in line for at least 10 mins. and we did not mind at the thought of hot french fries coming our way. They were so cold we each tried 2 and that was all nasty nasty nasty were they. The info from receipt is as follows

My name is Michael Walters-smiley I'm an employee at the whataburger store on w bell road in Glendale Arizona my employee number is 2044601 the reason for my complaint is because I am being treated unfairly by my store manager rick ontiveros and I'm not the only employee being treated unfairly our hours are being cut because he doesn't like the ways we do our jobs. He says that maintaining a professional appearance is very important yet he put me on the spot in front of every other employee and customer because he didn't like the way I was doing my job and he said and I quote "I don't pay you to goof off at work and this is why your hours are being cut" well here's the bad thing about that I have bills to pay and unfortunately getting scheduled to work one day every week for only 4-7 hours isn't going to pay my bills. This has been going on for about 3-4 months now and I am tired of it I've tried having a sit down discussion with him and he tells me no every single time so now I'm at the end of my patients and I'm making this complaint. I do call and ask for extra hours or if I'm needed because hey I live 2 minutes from the store and he tells me no that every time there is a full staff and the first few times I believed it until one day I called and asked got told the same thing so I walked in after I called and there wasn't a full staff in fact it was busy and they were understaffed. I don't know why he is hostile towards me but I want this taken care of because I'm not the only employee he does this to. Ordered 4 piece chicken bites kid's meal. The kid can count. There were only 3. Waited 15 minutes in line and pd $4.50 for this. Too tired to go back. Stop eating my kid's meal. Someone needs to learn to count. And not short people on their orders, just because they think a child won't notice.
So I'll go to McDonald's from now on.

Visited Location 112 at 7007 South Zarzamora and this location lacks customer service . My order is constantly wrong and incomplete. I don't particularly enjoy being asked to pull forward away from the window to get my wrong and cold food. I can go to any restaurant in town but i pick Whataburger because i love the food. Maybe its time to reevaluate and go elsewhere.

I waited 20 minutes in line for 3 chicken strips only 2 cars ahead of me. When I came to the window I asked if I could get a number to make a complaint he said he had to see if they had one and went to tell manager he came back and said the manger would come speak to me but I was already frustrated so didn't wait any longer. Cashier did not even give me a receipt.

Okay it was June 25th I believe a Sunday I work for the Whataburger in Houston the store number is 267 I got into it with one of my coworker mind you that we was already short on team members so everybody was frustrated like I was on break and you know how when you on break you eat and then you come back and dont have the same energy as before so I break back in went to my side which was drive-thru so as I was making orders mind you that I was by myself no help at all not the fry station nor grill so as I was making an order I forgot to put a sticker on one sandwich which was a mistake because I was so busy trying to rush and hurry up and get the drive-thru clear and I forgot to put a sticker on one little sandwich and he was like man you better put a sticker on the sandwich I was like it's a receipt right there and stuff like that and the other sandwich had all the stickers on there so it's it's not like you know it was hard to recognize what it was but he was like I better have a stick on the sandwich after I take this order to this customer at the drive-thru window and I was like you don't talk to nobody like that and then me and him got into it cuz I felt like he was threatening me so we got into and the manager (Maria) bad attitude problem was only telling me to shut up but not him which I believe and felt like she was showing favoritism and it was very unprofessional of her name is Maria and the co-worker I got into it with is a male his name is Dante she was telling me to shut up but not him he was still talking smack so that's when I start back talking smack as well so she says stop or I'ma send you home and I was like alright I apologize once again he was still talking smack so I start back talking smack and she was like go home and that's when he had a made an smart remark saying that's why you going to lose your job I hope you lose your job and I always like that's messed up you ain't going to say nothing to him for that and then I clocked out and I was in the restroom I had called my brother to see what he was doing telling him what happened and so he can pick me up cuz I didn't have a ride to go home and the guy that I got into with my coworker Donte at the time he walked in I was like there he go now and I was still mad and I was still fussing about it because i felt played and we got into it in the restroom and stuff like that and he was like when I see you when I get on my break and I see you walking home I'm getting out my car and fight you know that's not right that's unprofessional so I would like to get a transfer to another location or if they do let me go can I get in unemployment I feel like something has to be done about it because the management is poor there not good

Me and family member visited wataburger at 9500 Montana in El Paso Texas.we were not satified with the fact the some of the food was saturated in sauce and wet tomatos and the onion rings in one of the meals was crushed.There was also a bad that we requested, but the manager at the time did not put the items in himself, rather he had my family meber do it her self.I believw the managers name was Moises Melendez, buy I could be wrong.This kind of service is unacceptable, and would be great if they could fix this management issue at the resturaunt, thanks.
inappropriate relationship
Ive working at this location on college st in Beaumont Tx for years even moved up to team member position which was great. They have a nice young lady there by the name of Daaiyah Dumas who is also a great worker. After Mr Mike, which were over the stores, took sick and his position was replaced by a young guy name David who transfered from the Dallas area. This young man and Daaiyah Dumas are dating which i feel is very unprofessional by him being over all of the stores in the Beaumont Tx area and she just being an employee. This young lady was recently promoted to assistant manager from the approval of David and her manager Theresa, not to mention Ive been here longer than her and worked as hard. I think its very unfair and unprofessional for this young man David to be having relations with employees by him being up in rank. Thats one thing that should be in the workers handbook.
