My refrigerator is not working both the fridge and freezer I have had this fridge for two years. I had an independent contractor come out and I was told it was the compressor which is covered under manufactory warranty for five years. I called Whirlpool and they confirmed that the part is covered under warrant for five years and they set up an appointment for two weeks out based on the contractor's schedule. My complaint is that it should not take two weeks to have my refrigerator serviced. I have an ill child at home that medication and juices and food needed to be stored in order for me to get to these items quicky to make it easier for me to take care of my child, I explain this to both Whirlpool and the independent refrigerator technician, and I was told there is nothing they can do unless someone calls and cancels an appointment. My refrigerator was quickly delivered and installed when I purchased it, why would it take this long to repair? In this society where everyone is short staffed the company should have additional companies that they contract with, instead of three companies in my area. This is unacceptable.
Claimed loss: All the food in my refrigerator went bad.
Desired outcome: I would like my refrigerator to be replace since the repair time is two weeks.
