I took delivery of this fridge after waiting 90 days on March 19, 2024. By April 15th I had to get a service tech out as the fridge had stopped cooling. The evaporator was completely frozen, the defrost was not kicking in. He made som adjustments and all was OK for about 3 weeks, then the same issue, this time they changed the control board. This fix lasted over a month, then the tech came back on July 4th, 2024 for the same freezing up issue. This time a thermistor was changed. Well the tech had to come back again today, July 12th a whole 8days later to fix the same freezing up issue. Not sure what adjustments were made but supposedly it is now working. Don't know for how long though.
I must commend the service tech, same one each time. He has been very good.
Whirlpool on the other hand, not helpful at all. This fridge is a lemon and they refuse to replace it! They had the audacity to offer me a 3month extended warranty!
Desired outcome: I want a replacement fridge.
