Pharmacy
This is in relation to the Pharmacy at Winn Dixie located at 450 E Burleigh Ave. Tavares Fl. The pharmacist is unprofessional and the rest of the staff is rude as well but the problem is they are clueless on how Good RX works and really don’t care to know. I had to have the Good RX rep call so I could get the right prices. Then the next time I went in, the tech took one look at my RX and said “we don’t carry that.” What? Never been to a pharmacy that couldn’t order a medication. Went to Walgreens, they were so nice and professional and ordered the medication for me. What’s sucks is Winn-Dixie prices are usually the lowest. I am using Good RX because drug prices are so high. I guess I will either have to do without my medication or go somewhere else and pay more.
Desired outcome: The pharmacist and employees in the pharmacy need lessons on how Good RX works and customer service etiquette.
Price gouging
I was picking up a few last minute items for Thanksgiving dinner 11/21/2022 at Winn-Dixie located at 14600 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33905. More specifically, I needed a dozen eggs for a recipe. Saying I left the store with sticker shock is gross understatement! The most inexpensive dozen eggs was over $6.00, an 18 pack over $8.00. Meanwhile, at a very nearby gas station/ convenience store, a dozen eggs was less than $5.00 that very same day.
Additionally, and not unrelated, I had only just read an article that I'd stumbled on while trying to find this board, from a person claiming to work, or have worked for Winn-Dixie. They stated the company doubles or triples sticker prices for BOGO sale's items. Winn-Dixie responded to the article denying allegations. However, as a regular shopper, who literally depends on sales to afford to feed my family, I have noticed thar exact problem, especially problematic in meat departments. When Ritz Crackers went on sale for BOGO, the price per unit was exactly double from the everyday sticker prices I'd been paying at Winn-Dixie for 6 consecutive months. A week after the BOGO sale on Ritz, the prices went down by half, and remained.
This is price gouging. We're all struggling in one way or another after Hurricane Ian ravaged SW Florida.
Desired outcome: Stop treating us like we're ignorant w explanations like BOGO prices aren't double, but result from higher daily prices implemented prior to BOGOs. Don't $ gouge inventory more frequented during seasons/holidays.
Employees fighting and cursing on sales floor
I was in the Zephyrhills store today December 4th back in the meat department when an older gentleman came out of the meat room and said to a younger gentleman "are you ever going to finish what you are doing". This statement made a argument insue and they were cussing on the sales floor with customers around. This kind of behavior happens all the time at this store. And we are never able to use the small carts at this store because they are left in the lot so if you want to use one you have to go into the lot yourself and get one.
Desired outcome: I think the management in this store really needs to be looked at closely this store really needs help!
Pharmacy
This pertains to the pharmacy at winn dixie on hwy 49 in gulfport mississippi. For the last couple of months the pharmacy can not be reached by customers or doctors offices by phone. Also when a prescription is sent by a doctors office it is often misplaced or takes days to get filled. Also most of the times I go, they do not run my prescription assistance...

Winn Dixie Pharmacy complaint issue, pharmacist Chris. Sunday November 27th 2022, I went to WD Pharmacy located 1535 N. Singleton Ave Titusville FL. to pick up 2 prescriptions sent by same doctor the day prior 11/26/22. One of the 2 prescriptions were filled, while the other was not, Chris claimed there was no doctor I’d number for the other to be filled. Yet one was filled by him with same doctor information. Then said he will fill tomorrow. Sounds like he lied, very unprofessional and not properly qualified or preforming his job duties. I’ve been without my meds for 7 days and counting. Could someone please resolve this, also this isn’t the first issue with Chris and this pharmacy, over a year getting same medication here and I have to be waiting even longer for my medication after a week of not having.
Desired outcome: Change staff, fill medication with discount since having issues the last few months now .
manager at Deerfield Beach Florida
most unprofessional rudest manager I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with
made a purchase on 10/26/22product was rotten within 48 hours and when I tried to talk with Winston the manager about it on 10/29/22 he bullied me I can’t believe upper management would approve of the way he treated a long time good customer $25 may not be much to him & Winn Dixie but being just shy of 70 disabled on a fixed income it hurts needless to say my friend’s family and myself will no longer shop there as Winston sarcastically remarked it’s our prerogative
the stores other customers that were there weren’t very impressed either
really good for the store’s image
Manager Julia
Julia the new manager at the Winn Dixie in Miramar 33027 is nasty! She watched me and my sister the WHOLE time we were shopping. We made two transactions at the self checkout. While completing the last one she comes over and tells us we didn’t scan a pack of fish that was and it showed on the screen. Both of our transactions only contained two items. As I...

I can shop around your higher prices but I cannot handle misinformation on your store website. You advertised walk in flu shots so i walked in. pharmacy had 0 customers and ask for the flu shot. I was told the website was incorrect and not directly connected to WD by the pharmacist. He would not even attempt to work with me when he obviously was only busy making excuses. going to my new go to PUBLIX

Pharmacy in Clermont
Prescriptions were sent to WD pharmacy in Clermont FL in error and should have been sent to Leesburg/Okahumpka FL. I received phone calls that prescriptions were ready and went to Okahumpka WD and told they had nothing for me. Calls did not leave a location, phone number or name of person. Three of these calls and trips to WD, on fourth I tried to contact Clermont WD and phone number was for liquor store. Another number was for grocery. They gave me pharmacy number and dialed it twenty times at various times and busy signal. Drove 22 miles to Clermont WD and they did have prescriptions of which there was a charge of $38 total for all four. I questioned this as I’ve never had to pay before. She asked if I had insurance and I said yes and gave her my card. She said it would be about 30 minutes to process. I asked it it could be transferred to Leesburg and she said no. I would have to contact them. I left the store, called Leesburg pharmacy (they answer their phone) and he said it they should have been able to bring up my profile and he couldn’t get the prescriptions. The pharmacy in clermont was rude and not helpful causing me to waste a whole morning. Now I’m waiting for the doctors office to send the scripts to Leesburg where they will be handled promptly and courteously. Would not use WD pharmacy if this had been my first experience. Rave reviews for Leesburg WD pharmacy
Desired outcome: Better customer service at clermont and friendlier phone handling in grocery, liquor store and just answer the phone in pharmacy
Customer service
I shopped at Winn Dixie, 800 Cockrell Hill Rd., Duncanville, TX 75137 on November 11, 2022. At approximately 5:15 self service checkout I experienced an issue and needed to request assistance from the employee who works that area. She was rude, ignorant, disrespectful and totally dismissive. She approached the station from a distance talking really fast and...

We have been having prescriptions filled in store #2505 and my husband has his doctor call in his script and he goes to the store to pick it up and they tell him that he can't fill it since they do not have enough of the medication. With that being said, this has been going on for over 4 months now. We were told to go to other stores to get it filled, but that didn't work out either as they have been sending many other patients/customers to those store and they have been told to not send anyone else since they do not have enough medication to fill them all. We were specifically told not to try to get it filled in the Seffner store since the pharmacist refuses to fill it. Not really sure how she is allowed to refuse to fill a prescription that has been called in by a board certified physician, but she gets away with it. This has been causing a financial hardship on us, since we are forced to have it filled in another pharmacy that is charging a lot more for it monthly.
I have called and left a voicemail for Deidra Paine and she has not returned my phone call. This is a very poor way to do business.
Desired outcome: I would like to stop having this issue and get the prescription filled in the pharmacy every month without having to worry about making a trip to the store to just be told they cannot fill it!!!
For some reason my medications can never be filled on or past the due date?

I was injured
At your Winn Dixie store i Boynton Beach Fl. on 10/20/2022. I reached for a four pack of tomato soup from a display on a bookshelf isle display. The soup was at least six feet up and when I took one from the shelf two others fell and cut my left arm. The heat must have caused the packages to stick together. I then had a four inch cut open and bleeding. I went to the nearby pharmacist to ask for help. She said all she had was one small bandaid that would not covermy cut. Sh etold me i could get a box af bandaids from the shelf but i would have to pay for them. No apology was given to me or no more assistance. I went to the customer service counter and the person behind the counter said she could not help me. No apology but did say i needed to find the manager. I found the manager and she offerto let me file an injury report as i stood in front of her bleedinfg. No offer of a tissue or bandaige. I grabbed a tissue fron the counter to stop the blood. No apology from anybody or asking if i was ok. I filled out the report and told the manager i was not feeling well and she commented we are almost done. I finished and left with not one person offering to help me or saying the were sorry i was injured. I am Bob Reynolds [protected].
Desired outcome: I really do not know what to expect Probably somthing for my injury and poor treatment. Probably financial
What abhorrent treatment! If any person is ever treated so horribly, even after a minor incident, call an emergency hotline & have 1st responders show up on scene. That is the ONLY way you'll teach retailers how to behave in a humane way. The store may not have treated the situation with any regard for you or your injury, responders would have. In addition to providing necessary aid, they would have advised you to receive a tetanus booster if you haven't had one in however many years, or if you don't know when your last Tetanus shot was.
Here is a recent example & gold standard by which I wish all retailers would strive.
Within the 1st 5-10 minutes of my shopping trip at Walmart, I reached for an item that was just a little over my height (less than six feet up) as I looked up & grasped the item, dust or debris of sorts fell into my right eye from somewhere above. I assume it was dust build-up since the item was on top of the stack & on top of a lower shelf. I continued shopping for another 25-30 minutes, all the while, my eye became more irritated, was watering profusely, and my nose started running as well. I decided to go to customer service & inform them of the incident. Before they mentioned anything about filing reports, I was handed a paper towel to collect the tears & running nose. The manager came right over & began rummaging through the first aid kit for eye rinse. In the absence of eye rinse, she had an employee dash over to the first aid section & grab eye rinse off the shelf. The employee began to hand me the eye rinse, but the manager apprehended it mid-grab & began unwrapping it. She had me go into the ladies room so I could use the eye wash over the sinks & offered assistance if I needed it. After I was finished, and ONLY AFTER I was more comfortable, they filed an incident report. Eventually my eye calmed down & I didn't need further medical intervention. A few days after the incident, they sent me a letter stating that they'd reviewed video surveillance & couldn't see anything falling into my eyes. I didn't mind any of that though my because I was okay. I was treated exceptionally well & they took my eye injury seriously & performed the necessary first aid. That my friend, is there gold standard.
customer service
My complaint is about the customer service employee at this store (Kendra). The first incident involved an item that was rung up for the wrong price. I presented her with the shelf tag, my receipt and attempted to tell her the problem. Instead of accepting the store had made a mistake and stating she would correct it, her comment was "you had no business taking the tag off the shelf". I found this to be disturbing from a customer service person. Then just recently 9/17/22 we had another encounter. There was an weekend ad for colossal shrimp 7.99. After looking all over the seafood dept (both freezers) I showed ad to a cashier, he was new and stated he did not know anything, called Kendra and again in a rude fashion " stated this is in seafood". I answered where else would I have looked if not seafood. She proceeded to put the ad down and walked off back to her customer service desk, and then to the back room. leaving both me and cashier stunned. I asked cashier if there was someone in meats that I could talk to? Cashier re stated he did not have a clue where to direct me. I left the store frustrated and mad because here again this same individual who apparently has not been trained in customer service nor does she have the personality needed to perform the basic duties of the job. Customer service positions is the face of Winn Dixie and I would think being courteous, helpful and kind as common knowledge. Counsel her, train her, please do something. Thank you.
Desired outcome: training

RE: Follow-up
Winn Dixie Store: 99 Eglin Pkwy, Fort Walton Beach Fl, store #[protected]
Storer Manager: ALBERTO
Cashier: Ashleigh
On several occasions when shopping at this location Ashleigh has called me a "[censored]" very softly when I enter the store. I will not accept this behavior. I wear a police body camera and I have her recorded. I reported this to the store assistant manager on duty that day. 09/03/22 at 4:11 p.m.
The store manager, Alberto also has been doing some racial profiling on me. I am a White-Native American and I will not tolerate this behavior.
I was having a friendly conversation with a white customer on the way the world is changing and all the threats that China is presenting to the United States. After our conversation Alberto followed the customer and asked her if she was ok with me speaking with her. She was upset that the store manager felt the need to interfere with our conversation and she sought me out in the store to tell me about the intrusion from Alberto.
Racial profiling is a crime and Walmart has just recently had to pay out 4.5 million to a White-Afro American male.
I had in the past always liked Winn Dixie, but my opinion is Changing! I know that Winn Dixie is owned by Southeastern Grocers. I thought Winn Dixie and Safeway were the same. However, I see Safeway is owned by Albertsons Companies. My husband is a White-Jewish American and if we ever hear the word "[censored]" again we will pursue legal action for racial profiling!
Desired outcome: A formal apology. My winn dixie account is listed with my phone number [protected]
Management
The Winn Dixie store of point meadows has juristically gone down in It’s performance I have realize that management does not care about nothing and there is always one line open and the store always gets backed up which will make me decide to go to Publix instead and shop! There is a man there by the name of Robb if I believe and I found him really arrogant last time when I asked him a question he just gave me a cheeky response and added a fake laugh on top of it which I found very rude! At this point I expect corporate to intervene and find solutions to the problems!
Desired outcome: Terrible
Service
I was at your store on 9/5/22 at 5:23 pm- located at 8855 W Boynton Beach Blvd their phone number is [protected]. I was in the self-check-out lane and one of your employees, first initial "T" proceeded to leave his place at the cashier's check out which was about two lanes over and decided to position himself directly behind me to watch as I self-checked my items.
I asked him if there was anything wrong and he replied "no" and kept standing behind me. I asked him to please move to a better position to observe the customers and he refused. I asked him about five times before one of the male employees came over and whispered something to him-"T" apparently made it appear as if I needed help so the male employee left "T" came to offer his assistance. I informed him that I did not need help and that I did not like the idea that I was being watched and so obviously.
The two finally moved away to a position where they should have been standing in the beginning. I asked for the manager's name and the male employee gave me two names "Olivia" and "Michael". When I asked for "T" name he very proudly gave me his full name. I noticed the name of the manager on the receipt was different from the names given to me at the store-Name on the receipt is "".
Employees have a job to do however I can't believe Winn Dixie trained employees to make their customers feel unwelcome.
I'm complaining about chashier- Jennifer at store [protected]
At the counter Jennifer had a problem with the customer in front of me about cashing in a coupon the lady came and over rode it, well after that she was throwing our meat like it was garbage she had a nasty aditude and did not give me my savings I had aquriered I asked she was rude and said you didn't say anything to me! Then she was very nasty with her aditude giving me the receipt, I spend alot of money there my purchase was 244.28 and I don't deserve this cashier giving me her bad aditude , she doesn't deserve to be working at this store your corporation she is not people friendly!
Desired outcome: Would like to go shopping there and never see her, Jennifer again!!!
Fraud and health violation, emotional damage
I, a consumer, as a natural person, have received injury due to witnessing the assistance store manager and produce employee literally removing outdated, brown color meats and the likes thereof, rewrapping that same meats and putting new dates and prices. and yet, says it is fresh.. That is false and misleading and many health code violations.. CFR, Truth In Lending, OSHA, EPA, etc... etc.. etc.. Witnessing that caused Me to have a mental breakdowns. Now I feel sick, and betrayed by the very people We trust during commerce, a Consumer credit Transaction, which this store in Bainbridge Georgia, 915 E Shot well street, Bainbridge Georgia, 39819. They are poisoning Our children and elderly. I seek to contact the CEO!
Desired outcome: I seek compensation.
Cashier Behavior
It happened on August 21, 2022, at 3:46pm at store located on 6060-10 Fort Caroline Road, Jax, FL . Cashier listed on receipt as Coyia, Store manager listed as Leslie. Cashier was joking with what appeared to be store employee checking out in front of me. I had to repeat myself. Cashier did not look herself to see if paper was available, took word of other employee that no paper bags available and continued to scan my items. I got paper bags, put them on station in front of plastic bags and asked again for "paper please". As I am loading bags in cart, Cashier stated that I should put the paper bags on the shelf at her station and handed the receipt to me. I have supported this store for over 4 years. This type of service will make me think twice about coming to this store to food shop.
