staff conduct and being evicted for false allegations / hotel stay in pooler ga
On monday may 21st I decided to try the new woodspring suites location in pooler ga because it looked nice andit had a great deal on hotels.com (who I have been booking with for ages with no issues). There was a death in the family and my residence was being used for our immediate family members. I checked in with a relative with no issues other than the receptionist annoyingly repeating several times about the security deposit. When I got to my room I wasn't in there but 10 minutes before management called me very rudely asking me to leave. They said something about escorts but that is absurd! I since the n rented a room at the quality inn close by for 3nights with no issues, my family even came over for a bit to the pool. I did nothing wrong nor do I deserve this company keeping my money! The manager was extremely rude over the phone and refused to give me his name and when I asked him why he raisedhis voice and said "because frankly ma'am it's noneof your business!" this was highly unprofessional and should not be happeningin a company of customer service. If this is not resolved with this form of communication I will have to take things a little further but I prefer notto do that. I was wrongfully evicted and disrespected by a staff that has no regardfor your business, only stereotyping and condescension.

I am a former employee I worked at woodspring suites live oak GM was Charline shivers great person but horrible with employees. she has some one with a disability working every day the guy has paper work on the injury from previous job stating he can't work that's why his previous employer won't hire him back his hand is no good and she knows all of this the has held his hand up towards camera acting as if he were in pain just collecting evidence now everybody is stuck with him no good outcome and please tell her to stop with the frequent mood swings I'm not upset about losing my employment just feel disrespected and you guys need someone who knows what they are doing cause she dont.
substandard accommodations & unethical billing practices
Upon check-in I paid for a week (7-day) stay. The key I was first issued was to a room on the 2nd floor and a room which had already been occupied by other tenants. I was then given a room on 3rd floor. On day 2 of my stay, I'm working in my room on computer when at 10:30am I began to smell paint fumes which gave me a headache and made me nautious. Without any notice of any kind, the establishment was doing work in a room a few doors down in which their contractors were not using proper ventilation and the aerosol/fumes took over the entire hallway and had come into my room when a short time later I began to take notice.
The conditions were inhospitable to say the least and accommodations were borderline inhumane and certainly uninhabitable. I decided to terminate my stay at that point and check out but because it was 11:30am, the General Manager insisted on charging me (and not refunding me) for the 3rd day though they posted no notices and I had no control over their contractors whatsoever.
Never stay at any of these (WoodSpring) hotels. They simply want to steal your money though they were solely responsible in the conditions becoming uninhabitable. The GM herself was very unprofessional from the start as she insisted that I would have to pay for a 3rd day because the time was 11:30am. GM (Charlene) was totally rude, unprofessional, a complete [censored], nothing less than a thief and had the nerve to think I shouldn't be offended by her trying to force me to pay an additional day for which I did not stay.
NEVER EVER stay at a WoodSpring or affiliated establishment. Their management are ghetto thieves from the top down.

On 5-13-18 I was in room 222 and paid for another week, was moved to room 329. I accidentally left q brand new pair of white nike air max under the bed, once in New room I noticed I had left them. . Immediately called front desk to ask them to check. Within a minute not even time to walk to room and check front desk called me back saying nothing was found. The following day I seen my shoes on the front desk clerk feet. Seen with my own 2 eyes. But I reported it to Corp. I left it alone cause I was living there & I didn't want any problems. The morning of 05-16-18 we'd. Approximately 6am thus lady, front desk clerk, who also resides on the 3rd name & would not tell her name started beating on the door. I opened the door, she screams loudly at top of her lungs get out get out you have 30 minutes to get out. I asked why she states you were creating a disturbance. .there was bonasking this lady anything when was hostile and rude very. She lied on us called 911 made false acquisitions on me. I lost 3 paid for nights . I was living there and I don't feel it's fair the police released us after telling out side this is ricidoulos. I am getting an attorney no questions asked . Already got the price. I will obtain him in the morning.. there is no way I will allow th is to happen when I did nothing. I beluev3 she was racist my boyfriend is black. I am not a guest, this morning May 5, 2018 I was attending a funeral service across from WoodSprings Suite 11444 32nd Ave N, Texas City, TX 77591. I am an insulin dependent diabetic and around 10:40am my sugars began to crash. No one at the funeral home had anything sweet to help raise my sugar level. I walked across the street to the WoodSprings Suite and asked the clerk if there was a vending machine available? Her response was "We do but it's for our guest only and I can't let you through the door!" I explained that I am a diabetic and my sugars were crashing and her response was the same " It's for our guest only and I can't let you through the door!"
I understand policy but, I needed to raise my sugar level quickly before it became an emergency. Thankfully an attendee of the funeral quickly drove me to Jack in the Box about a mile away and their cashier took care of me immediately. My sugar level dropped to 42 at WoodSprings Suites which is dangerously low.
I am not asking to be an acceptation to the, I am asking to train your staff to recognize a potential emergency situation.

WORST EXCUSE FOR EMPLOYEES THERE WHO ARE WORTHLESS, FULL OF EXCUSES FOR NOT HELPING CUSTOMERS AND THEY ARE MANIPULATIVE AND FULL OF LIES. Because I work at night and asked them to clean my room last they didn't clean it at all and when I got upset the black argumentative manager threatened to make me leave after telling me I needed to be familiar with housekeeping rules. I'M NOT AN EMPLOYEE RATHER A CUSTOMER SO I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT HOUSEKEEPING POLICIES! So it's been 16 days and my room has not been cleaned at all...DEFINITELY A HEALTH HAZARD ESPECIALLY SINCE WHEN I CHECKED IN THE FLOOR HAD NOT BEEN SWEPT OR MOPPED. I WAS LIVING IN THE SAME FILTH AND GERMS FROM THE PREVIOUS OCCUPANT OF THE ROOM I RENTED! THEY WILL NOT EVEN GIVE ME FRESH TOWELS OR ANYTHING UNLESS I PAY THEM TO DO SO WHICH I WOULD NOT NEED IF MY ROOM WAS CLEANED LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. Tiny room for 1700/mo with no coffee pots in room, no coffee on premises or anything else and everytime I use the washer/dryer it either takes my quarters or over charges my debit card. I have told them at the front desk numerous times and they do nothing but give me lame excuses as to why they can't or won't help. I will be calling the state department of health Monday morning because I'm not paying stupid money for this way overpriced poor room and it not be cleaned and if they even think they can kick me out I'll have the police here so fast it will make them wish they never came across me!

My family and I checked in Easter weekend at the chamblee Tucker loaction in Atlanta Georgia. Kimberly at the front desk was very helpful. On Saturday morning, my husband was shaving, I heard a loud noise and saw that he was on the bathroom floor. As he was shaving the pipe attached to the sink had a leak. We called front desk and they stated that matience would not return until Monday. The general manager Robin for this location was very very disrespectful and had no concern for this matter. She said that 'we could go to another location in Alpharetta'. With that we would have to pay for another hotel as we wait for our refund. That's so covie for this holiday week for us. We just asked if someone could come to fix the leak.If you're looking for the hospitality as they state in advertising. I was a guest in your location of 8808 W. Black Canyon HWY. I had been there for over 2 months at this point was never late paying for my room and caused no sort of problem there. We had a party for a friends birthday just about 4 people. The next morning they did room inspections and told us we would have to check out the next morning. Now in the rules and regulations it clearly states they must give you 24 hours to remedy the issue which they did not. And to top everything else off I had just paid rent the day before. They did not refund any of the money and when the cops were called they indicated to us it was a civil matter. But you guys would have to hold our belongings for 21 days. Upon return to gather our items there were several of our items missing 4 pairs of designer jeans totaling the price of 385.00, a hand held game system totaling 250.00, music electronics like discs and charging cords totaling 150.00, jailer totalling 400.00, for a total of 1, 185.00 that was taken by your employees there. Oh and by the way your employees at this location are drug dealers, when I confronted management there they refused to answer any of my questions and trashed the room like we had done they then proceeded to call the police to have us removed. I am asking you to refund me for the 320.00 I paid for services I did not receive, and 1, 185.00 for the theft of my property. Thank you for your time.

Totally not happy with this room that I Payed a week for. No phone Ive asked the front desk for a phone a few time. Still never gotten one. No hot water in this room. The TV screen goes in and out.all the time or you just get a black screen. Nicotine spots all over paint in the window really gross I Payed alot for this room and this is what I get. The Ac sounds like a 757 taking off in the room
double charged by woodspring suites for an already paid reservation
At the WoodSpring Suites, Fort Myers Northeast, I was charged twice for the same one night I spent there (Jan 12th to Jan 13th). I had made a reservation PAID IN FULL through hotels.com for $110.99 and yet, I was charged again directly by WoodSpring Suites at the time of departure for $88.79. The Conf # from WoodSpring suites invoice is 34473. I hope this situation can be clarified and have the second charge from WoodSpring suites reimbursed to my card.

Hello, I was just informed by one of the front desk people when I talked to her that GILES told her to not come to my tattoo shop after I put he complaint up on the board! NOW, that he is hendering my business I will be calling a lawyer! And he is lying like he talks to my sister about me when he doesn't even know my sister trying to keep the people from coming to my tattoo shop. Somenone need to contact me MARQUS STOKES at woodsprig suites or I will be contacting a lawyer about the issue at hand!
water temperature
I'm currently staying at the hotel in Pooler, GA (Rm 125) and for an entire month (March 13, 2018-present) I've complained about the water temperature of the shower; it's less than lukewarm. I was initially told by the receptionist that they are waiting on a plumber but again that's been a month ago. I called Jake the manager last week and left a voicemail to return my call about a resolution but he has yet to return my call. I'm booked through June but there's no way that I'll continue to be patient and my concerns be ignored through my remaining stay. I'm in healthcare and this is less that sanitary to prevent the spread of infection. I would be more than appreciative if the repairs can be made ASAP.

I was charged for a no show. When It was the hotels fault for not documenting my late arrival time, not allowing me to check in on appected arrival date due to hotels lack of communication, very thin walls, bugs in rooms and horrible management service. I was traveling from Phoenix Arizona thinking I was going to be able to check in right away. I called a few times to let the hotel know I was being delayed, they said it was okay and they would push back my arrival date. I was happy knowing they'd help me but they failed to document. I arrived about 4:30am 4/4/18 and there was no one in the office and the number I called they told me to come back at 3pm to check in. I was already tired from the drive and had a vehicle packed w my belongs and I had to be at work at 6am. I just wanted a shower and change but I couldn't do that because I was turned away. I then called the hotel to let them know I was still checking in and told them what happened, and they said the reservation still stood but said nothing about the no show charge. So I thought I was paying for a week and not just 6 days and the no show. There was no mention of the no show charge until I seen my bank statement. And I confronted staff about the charge and she approached me with a very rude attitude and tone and left me no room to speak. I want my refund on this charge that was never mentioned to me and because it was very poor customer service.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

My wife and I stayed at your hotel in Conroe tx... We booked our hotel at $69 rate but was charged $94... When we got to our room we informed the staff that the floors were dirty and needed to be cleaned, but no one cleaned it... The microwave was rusty and unsafe... Very, very dirty and unsatisfied with our stay.. with 3 little kids always on the floor I cringed when they would lay on it... This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed at .
my stay and my charges and the cleaning of my room
I've not enjoyed my stay here it was to expensive for 10 days when I had to clean my room and also make sure we had clean towels and sheets. There are many ppl here that work 12 to 14 hour shifts and can't do this so they come in and have to stay in a nasty room also my room was so disgusting and didn't even have wash clothes to bathe with. The bathroom was easy as it could be I had to bleach it real good the toilet was so nasty that black stuff came out of under the seat. When I arrived I didn't have my pet I didn't get him until Monday witch was only two days ago and now y'all want to charge me 107$ that is unreal and I'm not paying it . The only reason we stayed here is because the one in Tuscaloosa Alabama is very clean and they are very respectable ppl that work there I will never stay here again

I stayed at your place for one week, Friday to friday. I checked in with my kids and dogs. I phoned the office at 9:02 am on Friday morning to discuss the charges and reversed charges that appear on my bank records. Bob told me he locked me out because my dogs were making too much noise. This was the first time hearing anything about the noise. He said he was "thinking" about not letting me stay any longer. I was on my way back from dropping my two kids off school like I had done all week. I tried to tell him that I had no warning or communication about the dogs barking. I know that every dog barks, and mine can get noisy especially if someone comes to the front door. Bob immediate told me very cold and stern that I had to be out and check out is 11. I tried to communicate with him that I had to go to court at 11. Once again told me check out was 11. Being very calm throughout the conversation I said ok. At this time I was freaking out. I had just lost my house that I owned for 15years, my ex husband was taking me to court so he could get custody of my two kids. How was I going to move out and go to court? I got a moving van and tried to make it to court which I missed. My ex husband got temporary custody of my kids. When I finally arrived to move out, Bob was the first person that, I would like to say "greet" me, more like confronted me. I once again tried to communicate to him, that if I had known the dogs barking had become a problem I could have fixed it, by putting on a cloth muzzle. He was not listening to me, just kept repeating himself, that i signed the pet policy and he could throw me out without any warning what so ever. Since i had arrived late he would not let me in the room without me paying a $45 late fee. He also went on and said that he told me i had to leave when he called me earlier. Which was a lie, I had phoned him. Bob also said that there was no way i would have been on time to pay as well. When he escorted me to my room the dogs started to bark frantically as soon as he put the key card in the door and they heard his voice. He opened the door for me and as it started to close my dog bear, (chicuhua miniature pintcher mix breed) stuck his head out and the door closed on his head. I got my stuff out of the room and my two small dogs, while my kids were at school.
Bob treated me with no respect. I am very surprised that a man in his line of work would talk too, and treat a woman with such little respect or regard. Money was never an issue since my husband was back to work as a pipe fitter making between $1500-$2000 A WEEK! I truly hope that your establishment opens an investigation into this matter. I will NEVER EVER again stay in another Woodsprings hotel, I would rather sleep in my car or at a shelter. I have never been so embarrassed, humiliated, and talk down to as what Bob Kemery had done to me that day. I have pictures and documents showing that I made the call I have court documents showing that I had court, I have my bank statement showing there was $1200 in my account which is more then enough to pay for another week. I wished now that I had chosen a different place to stay at instead of Woodsprings. To top it all off Bob made me pay a $45 late fee. Can you even imagine how I felt that day. Completely blindsided by your company. Bob Kemery is a poor example of a GM, and a person representing your company.
Guest left dogs on property while they were away from hotel. Guest was aware that dogs need to be kept crated when no one is in the room with them. I responded to several noise complaints from other guests regarding dogs barking. A total of 3 complaints in 2 hours time. I went up to the room and recorded a video of the situation... the dogs were completely out of control barking incessantly and I could literally hear them on the ground floor from the elevator. Guest contacted me at about 9am. I informed her of the situation... she even acknowledged that she was aware that the dogs had to be crated when she left the room. I informed her that we would not be renewing the room. At this moment in time I was not even aware that she was planning on staying longer as her reservation was just for one week. At 9am she was informed that she could not stay any longer and that we would not be accepting any extensions to her stay. Her original reservation ended on the day that this incident occurred. Guest was also informed that checkout was 11am... so she had 2 hours notice to vacate property. She made no communication to me that 11am would be a problem.
At 11am the guest was still not on property. The dogs were continuing to cause noise complaints and were still barking and scratching at the door and were completely out of control. Once again... I took videos and even some audio of the situation because it was SO completely out of control. I locked out the room as per policy because the guest had still not vacated the property at check out time.
At about 1245pm the guest finally arrived. It had been a solid 3-4 hours of the dogs being completely out of control... and the guest had been informed of the situation at 9am... as per policy... since it was now about 2 hours after checkout time... I charged her the $45 late checkout fee which she signed for (ON VIDEO)... I mention that because she bragged how she was going to do a chargeback).. All this time her husband was swearing and using insulting language towards me. He called me a homosexual among other things. When I threatened to call the police if he didnt calm himself down and start communicating in a civil matter he finally quieted down. It took the guests a solid 60-90 minutes to vacate the room at this point. We were able to enter the room about 2pm...
this is a clearcut guest ejection situation involving a guest who understood the rules but completely ignored them, even when she was communicated there was a situation she took about 3 hours to respond to the situation. I have signed registration cards that detail the $45 late checkout fee... I have signed pet registration cards which detail the requirement to crate the pets when no one is in the room and also explain that a guest could be ejected for failing to control their pets. I have video of the pets at the room... audio... along with video of the interaction of the guests when they came to finally check out...
These are merely the ramblings of a guest who is upset that she got told to leave... for reasons she was completely aware were a possibility... and even when she was told, she did nothing to rectify the situation. IF the guest was truly interested in doing the right thing she would have immediately returned to the hotel to quiet the dogs and to discuss with management, instead she chose to disregard all communication and "do her own thing" with predictable results. Her husband called back to the property later in the day to literally brag that they planned to do a chargeback for the room charges and also to "ruin us on social media"...
I attached one of the videos... the shortest one I had that shows and lets you hear how loud the dogs were... even all the way down the hallway... I took this while responding to my THIRD guest complaint of the morning regarding the dogs barking... I have several more, spanning HOURS...

Manager by name of Emily. Without any notice I was thrown out of room at hands of police dept. Was one day late at 11pm . Weather was cold and windy. Not to mention I was under medical care staying in handicapped suite. I had been tgere 60 + days . I receive my mail tgere . If been late 6 + days before. I by law am not a guest but a tenant. I was not served any notice nor given any time to gather things. Not even an hour. My rights were severely violated and have made 2 attempts to remedy with no return each time as promised. front desk clerk
First off I have been at Woodspring Suites Louisville, Southeast since basically November 2017 with the exception of 2-3 weeks. I left February be cause some of my possessions were being stored on fourth floor and when they were returned half of my things were stolen. I reported it to night time employee and nothing was done. The daytime staff didn't care much either. I loved the facility up until then. But I felt very disrespected and decided to leave without reporting it to corporate.
Well I am back again. Brought bare minimum in case this were to happen again. I'm between home's this place is affordable to me I keep to myself and pay my bill daily.
Well I came in this past Friday night. I had left owing $40. Monday morning Megan the first shift manager comes beating on the door totally disrespecting me. I gave her the $40 right then and there as I had planned so there would be no confusion. I went paid bill for next day and she was totally rude again. So I sucked it up. The following day maintenance as they do daily knocks and I inform them I'm staying over. Went to pay around 1030 said I had forgot my key she said that's OK I'll make u new one we keyed u out. Please tell me if checkout isn't till 11 y she keyed me out. Same thing yesterday I had to get new key because mine wouldn't work. This will be last day I'm staying here. The attitude is ridiculous and she does this in front of other people
