WorldMark by Wyndham Sales presentation at the Grand Palms Resort, Surfside Bch. S.C.

We went to the Wyndham Sales Presentation at Grand Palms Resort at Surfside Bch., S.C. on November 7th, 2022.

Our first sales woman was nice. The second sales Rep that came around gave us false information telling us that AFVC [armed forces vacation club], of which we belong, was going under and losing them money. We were told we would have to buy into Wyndham to be able to get the low cost certificates through AFVC in the future as they were restructuring things; and we wouldn't be able to get our Certificates for $279.00 for a whole week's stay anymore; unless we were members with Wyndham. We told them we didn't believe that as AFVC didn't say anything to us about that. We left the sales presentation and I called AFVC, of which we are both members and 4 of my brothers as well. They said that was false information.

We tried to go back to confront the sales Rep that told us that, and we were told by the manager of sales, Mr. Swabek, that we couldn't talk to him. He said he was busy and wouldn't be finished for 3 hours. We nicely said we'd wait. Mr. Swavek then said we could not talk to the Rep, he would deal with it and asked us what the problem was. We recounted everything to him. He said it was still true that AFVC was going under, they are restructuring and we would have to have membership with Wyndham in the future to book through AFVC.

We told him AFVC said that was incorrect and left. I recalled AFVC and told them the sales manager told us to look online and we would see he was correct. The woman at AFVC literally laughed out loud and said it is untrue.

We felt the sales people were pressuring us with "their made up truth" to try to get us to buy in.

We contacted the Hotel guest manager, James, who was very open to listen and said others have had complaints as well and he would address this issue in their next meeting.

I just want to warn anyone going to the Presidential Villas at Grand Palms Resort in Surfside Bch to stay clear of the Sales Presentation as the facts are not correct and we were pressured.

The Resort stay was lovely otherwise and everyone at the front desk very helpful and kind; aside from the building that did the Sales Prsentation.

Desired outcome: Mr. Swavek, the sales manager, be addressed about his misinformation; and apologize for his behaviour.

WorldMark by Wyndham Misrepresentation of Benefits

We vacationed in Cabo San Lucas in June and attended an owner presentation. The sales team informed us of the many benefits associated with upgrading our ownership by purchasing more points. The primary selling point was that with this upgrade we could sell our unused points to supplement the cost for our upgrade. Keep in mind that we rarely use the points that we had previously paid for. The sales representative, Tommy, also added that his wife will provide us with a Zoom training session to show us how to utilize the new benefits available with our upgrade.

We exchanged multiple text messages with Tommy to schedule the promised training session. He had many excuses/delays (ie: traveling to the US, a close friend's funeral, etc.) then he recently stopped communicating with us completely.

After months have passed while we waited for Tommy to fulfill his promise, we called the main office to find out our options for selling points. Only then were we informed that we cannot sell points from the Mexico resorts. Since we upgraded in Mexico, this was not an option for us.

Desired outcome: Now that the truth is out, my husband and I want our money back for the upgrade or the opportunity to utilize the benefits that were promised to us!

WorldMark by Wyndham service and website

I have been an owner for more than twenty years.

Worldmark has gone to hell in a hand basket. They have changed so many ways but not for the better. Their website is now a horrendous chore to try and navigate. It used to be easy but now is almost impossible to book a vacation without making a call to them and then they don't answer. You need to book a year in advance almost all of the time otherwise nothing is available. I would never recommend this timeshare to anyone. It is not the best timeshare by a whole lot. Now they will probably never allow me to book anything since I have made these negative remarks.

Their website has changed for the worse. Almost impossible to navigate.

WorldMark by Wyndham I want the contract terminated

There was an attempted to get me to purchase a time share on July 31st 2022 in Las Vegas NV. Upon going over the contract I realized that what I was understanding from the sales representatives was not what I was understanding from the contract so I aborted the contract while in the process of signing it. There was a witness to this as they had me on a video call to confirm that I understood the terms. A man then took myself and my daughter to a separate room where he offered a less expensive package at seemingly a better deal. It sounded good and I verbally agreed based on what he had said. I got home from vacation and had received a digital contract that did not match at all what the verbal agreement was. I never did sign this contract. They must have altered the original contract that I had began to sign to match the one that was sent. I am now being held to a contract that I never agreed to the terms of and never even signed! I am in the process of disputing this, however in the mean time my once perfect credit score is now affected due to this fraudulent behavior. I am being treated as if I am lying, the process is taking forever and it was near impossible to get anyone to even begin the dispute. My current case Cdcr-[protected]. My name is Nova Spang, email [protected]@gmail.com

Anyone interested in a class action lawsuit against Worldmark by Wyndham? They are absolute frauds and deserve to pay us back for the money they have stolen.

WorldMark by Wyndham Travel Lodge by Wyndham

My friend and I booked a room at the lodge 4 months ahead for a concert we were going to on August 18th 2022. The room was 250. And we brought her dog last minute and was charged an additional 92. And a hundred deposit . And really that’s ok. But no breakfast and the place is rundown and one door down from mine had Covid 19 warnings all over it saying exposure. That was a lot of money for that place and then having to be right next door to a room that has Covid 19 exposure all over it is to much. I want a refund.

Desired outcome: Refund

WorldMark by Wyndham Travel Lodge by Wyndham Angels camp , ca

My friend and I booked a room 4 months in advance to go to a concert the night of August 18th 2022. Well we booked it through Priceline and paid 250. Which ok. So at the last minute my friend had to bring her little dog . Well they charged us 35. For pet fee and 50. For cleaning fee and a 100. Deposit. Which ok . But no breakfast ? Ok. Well the place is really dumpy literally one door down warning Covid exposure is posted all over the door and window of the room one door down. For as much as we paid we could have stayed at the Resort in Angels Camp. That place was a dive and totally contaminated with Covid. I have pictures

Desired outcome: I would like a refund and if I was you I would take my name off of that place. I thought you guys had certain standards.

WorldMark by Wyndham Reservations cancelled

Booked five units at Bass Lake for June 2023 for a family vacation. The new website is terrible, has a lot of glitches. Still got it done, and had confirmation numbers for all the units (still have the printed copies). Everyone got vacation time set up and we had some activities booked. Then found out 3 of the 5 reservations were cancelled. No more availability at this time. Customer service said we could go on a wait list. Can't really do that when family has to coordinate. Only other option was to book at a place we aren't really excited about. Was then connected to another department for my complaint where I was basically told we are sorry; that's really a bummer; nothing we can do. Now in the process of changing things around; cancelling other related activities, etc. Also had to pay a guest reservation fee for the new reservation. Since Wyndham got involved in this they just nickle and dime us to death. Trendwest treated me like an owner; "Worldmark by Wyndham" treats me like a hotel guest unworthy of any actual consideration.

Desired outcome: Since they can't fix this and get me back at Bass Lake there is really no way to make this up. How about adding a history page so we can check back on prior useage and fees and keep track of our account? At least that would be something.

So frustrated with the customer services offered by Worldmark by Wyndham or should I say LACK OF. My ex husband and I filed to split our contract , the person I was working with never followed up with emails and when she did , she’d say they were having technical issues and couldn’t split the contract. Funny how their billing system never has technical issues. They were able to change my name back to my maiden name which was something I requested and that took only 3 months to do. Mostly because she never followed up with me for documentation she said she needed oh yes I understood that but when I asked for confirmation nope never received it. Just don’t understand what the problem is there. I requested for her to give me her supervisor or manager’s name to take this to a higher level. She usually neglects any requests I must have asked her 5 times she ignores any such requests. I have not been able to use my division of the credits for over a year. I guess that’s free money to them because I can’t book anything but still have to pay. I will never recommend anyone to buy from Workmark again.

WorldMark by Wyndham Reservation canceled

I worked long and hard to get this trip layed out perfectly. I booked a trip to Seattle Washington at the Camlin for Aug 5-7 early on. I realized I needed one more night. I could only find a different type of room for the 8th. I booked it. I got on the waitlist for the 8th for the same type of room so that we would not have extra housekeeping. I was so happy to get an email that the extra night on the 8th was available in the same room. I quickly booked it. I had not yet canceled the single night. The company ruined all my hard work and canceled my 3 night trip that I booked. I was devistated. I have had Worldmark for over 20 years. I never had such a bad experience. Why would you not have an auto email sent out? Or a message when booking? You have the technology to cancel the trip but not warn the Owner? Why would you cancel the trip I last worked on? This is poor protection for the Owners. I tried discussing this with customer resolution and they only told me 2 different things. They did not attempt to resolve anything. They were worthless. What has happened to this company? Janet Simmons

Desired outcome: A weeks vacation added to my account to make up for the money I have to spend on another hotel.

WorldMark by Wyndham Customer service number

We have been members of world mark for 20 years. We have never had a problem getting help from the various customer service numbers available. I have been trying to call every customer service number online for world mark for the last 6 weeks. Im just trying to reset my password so I can see my account. The website is not allowing me to do this and I would desperately like to speak with a human. I live in italy and have had to call at all hours of the night, not to mention hundreds of dollars because 1-800 numbers are not toll free when calling outside the us. How do I talk to someone?!? Please help!

Desired outcome: talk to a human!

I hear ya! We moved recently and after 3 months, our account has still not been updated and our autopay quit working as a result. I have spent a lot of time trying to navigate the awful automated "help" menus and finally gave up trying to talk to an actual person. Wyndham is ruining Worldmark!

WorldMark by Wyndham Worldmark by Wyndom Customer Service

Worldmart touts its "commitment to customer service" at every interaction, but this is simply a false statement. I have been on telephone hold for periods of in excess of 40 minutes and have never been able to get through to a "real person"

in customer service. This situation has become particularly serious considering the difficulties Worldmark has created through the implementation of its new website, which is its own complaint topic. Bottom line, Worldmark has made it virtually impossible to use the membership. had I known Worldmark would make communicating with it so difficult, I would never have purchased.

Desired outcome: Best of all worlds. Go back to the old website format which was very, very customer friendly and easy to use AND adequately staff the telephone customer service function.

WorldMark by Wyndham Website login

I can't login to the site, so I tried to change my password. I entered my email to get get a reset code. I'm instructed to wait for up to an hour to get the code. If it doesn't come I should call a number provided. It doesn't come so I call that number, which is a general number with a lot of options that ends with verbal instructions that repeats the instructions just given.

I've concluded that they really want you to contact them in any way, but they are happy to continue to take your autopay.

WorldMark by Wyndham Worldmark by Wyndham

July 6 and 7 2022 about 9 am PST. We are longtime Worldmark owners. For several months now it have been near impossible to book a reservation with Worldmark online or by phone. We have paid all our dues for 2022 but are not able to make a reservation. For the last 2 days I have spent nearly 2 hours on each phone call to them but they don't pick up. That's a total of 3 calls on those 2 days.

Their web side has been down for several weeks as well but when I tried it yesterday and the day before (we were told by a Wyndham employee the site was back up) I was not able to sign in. The site said that the log in info was not correct. I then click on the "reset password " button - the site then said they would send info to my email but they never did!

We can't get help on web site or the phone for more than a month. We are so sorry to be owners of Worldmark and it has been getting worse since

Wyndham took over managing Worldmark.

Desired outcome: Get us back online so we can make reservations and begin to answer your phone calls! Worldmark is a rather old company that was working well for many years. Please put it back together Wyndham!

Attempting to cancel and reservation and I can't get into the website to do it. Been trying for weeks now. This new website is worthless. I could do so much more on the old one. I can't even get in far enough to get a phone number to call but from what I see that is a waste of time too.

WorldMark by Wyndham Customer Service / Reservation

I have been a member for over 20 years. In the last week I have attempted to call to make and modify a reservation.

On June 30th, I waited on hold for 3 hours 4 minutes and 4 seconds when I was disconnected. I called right back and waited another 56 minutes. Called at 3:00pm

On July 1, I waited on hold for 1 hour and 3 minutes before I gave up, Called, 9am

July 5, I called and waited on hold for 1 hour, called at 10am

July 7, I called at 12pm, waited for over an hour and again disconnected.

July 7, called back, waited for 30 mins before I hung up

July 7, called back at 2:57pm, have been onhold for 34 mins.

This is worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am happy I cancelled my last purchase before it was to late. I will never ever buy more points or recommend worldmark ever again.

Desired outcome: Modify my reservation

WorldMark by Wyndham Payment not recieved

My complaint is simple and that your Tel # [protected] Sucks Big Time. I received notice that you had the wrong Credit Card on file so I called and changed the info and gave them a new credit card then I receive a letter stating that my reservation my be cancelled if I do not pay the balance. I again try several times (5 or 6) to contact you people about this matter only to wait on hold for at least an hour each time and since you think that my time is not as valuable as yours I just hung up each time. Today I finally got through after again waiting 1 hour on the phone and you people had my correct info but instead of billing my credit card you send me this stupid letter threatening to cancel my reservation. On your old system I was able to go and update any and all info on my own but now you have everyone calling this Tel. number that no one answers. In short this is probable the last straw for me and will be getting rid of this time share...I just can't put up with this CRAP anymore...

Desired outcome: Figure it out......

WorldMark by Wyndham Timeshare

Products and services are misrepresented in the presentation. May 26, 2022, I Ariyan Miller attended and Worldmark by Wyndym timeshare presentation. The presentation was filled with sleazy sales tactics and lies from the beginning middle and end. They even go as far to say multiple times it is NOT a time share when in fact it is. RED FLAG. Today I found out there is only a 5 day rescission period but in my personal opinion the contract has been breached due to all the false promises and misrepresentations. You cannot use the services until 3 weeks after purchasing two days ago I tried to book my first vacation which I was told would be approximately $4,500 or 30,000 points for room and board alone during the presentation I was shown a totally different point chart & I was told the points would ALWAYS be the same no matter how long you been a member and where you stay, which is not true. I believe they do not allow you to use it immediately because then you would become aware all of their promises were completely false. This company needs to be thoroughly investigated. They disguise over priced vacation packages with deceiving point systems and genuinely confuse people. They tell you if you don't sign up that day you will NEVER get the price again and pretend to throw in "free" bonuses which actually include fees. Company is breaking many TRID disclosures I am sure. I won't stop until I get down to the bottom of this because I am not the only one who has fell victim to companies like these.

Desired outcome: Cancellation of contract

WorldMark by Wyndham Unable to book a vacation due to an outstanding reservation charge

I have been a Worldmark owner since 2005 and up until the last 4 months I did not have any complaints. I booked a resort for a friend who end up having to cancel at the last minute. i was unaware that there was a charge of $29. When I received the charge, I tried to mail a check for the amount which was sent back to me saying they don't accept checks. When I've tried to reach World Mark vacation planning center to resolve the issue I have sat on hold over an hour. I tried calling from two different phone numbers at the same time and no one ever answered. I've tried this three times in the past few months and still no one answers the vacation planning center line. Also I tried to submit a detailed complaint on the new website and no reply.

In the meantime Worldmark has sent me at least 3 or 4 copies of the same bill. I tried contacting some of their other numbers and still I cannot get through. I paid for 15,000 credits which I have been unable to use for months. The only thing I pay on at this point is maintenance dues.

Desired outcome: I just want to pay the $129 charge and have my acccount released so that I can use the credits I've paid for.

I signed up for worldmark by wyndham resorts timeshare in March 2022 and the representative lied about everything from Wyndham buying back the timeshare If I didn't want it, how many points I have and the true cost of the timeshare. WorldMark by Wyndham Timeshare ownership

We have owned our "points" since 2014. We had used timeshares previously - my father owned weeks with another company - so I am aware of how to maximize the ownership.

Since buying our points, we were able to use some once in 2015 and then every time I tried to access the points for use since then, I can see availability but when I actually go in with my points, the system shows that one of the days is not available so I can not book. This has been aggravating and has happened CONSISTENTLY through the years (I am tenacious).

We were finally able to book four rooms for my sister's wedding in Las Vegas (May 2022) using the Monday Madness option. It took several attempts to get someone on the phone. She was helpful (at first) with securing 4 rooms. She failed however to make sure I had different names on the rooms so three days later I received an email indicating that two of the rooms were cancelled because of "my lack of action to put other names down." Shouldn't the person who helped me have requested different names? Or, in the minimum indicated that we needed other names on the reservations?

We also had multiple issues with check in at the resort (our rooms were not ready until after 5:30pm - some not until after 6:30 - ice machines were broken onsite, and Starbucks employees were rude).

The "Owner Update" was a rouse to get us to buy more credits. We have had issues using our credits from the beginning (2014). Our first salesperson was overwhelmed with our issues/concerns and seemed to keep moving forward with the "update" indicating that more points was our issue (even after we already informed her we were not interested in giving the company any more money). The conversation would constantly get back to either "have you tried scheduling more than 13 months out? (what?) or "if you had more points..."

She called over her "manager" who them proceeded to act concern, said he was going to check in on those issues and be right back. We were there another 10 minutes - no sight of the "manager." When we were checking out to get our "free one week gift" he saw us, he made eye contact and turned quickly into a room. We assumed he DID NOT want to address our issues/concerns either. Or, he was NOT a manager.

Now, to make matters worse, while we were in the checkout line, there was only one person at the desk helping people (there were four parties waiting for help). He did not know how to handle the couple's show tickets request (they were in front of us) so called he his manager (Christine or Christina). She was helping him all the while talking rudely about "owners" and how we try to get away with anything we can, we are rude, and you "have to talk to them like children." All while she has four/five "owners" standing there and hearing her. I was appalled.

To put salt on the wound, I got our "one free week" certificate to find out that only "free" resorts were in Branson or Mexico. All others required additional monies being spent to "upgrade."

We will be working on leaving this nightmare of a company even if it costs us money to free ourselves of it

Desired outcome: I want out of our contract.

WorldMark by Wyndham Do not buy on my account

We have a do not buy order on our contract. We did not authorize this. We met with a salesperson today and was told this. I was not aware of this. I know a few years ago at Seattle Camlin we met with a salesperson and decided not to purchase additional points at this time. He got so upset with us and stated that he was going red flag our account. We thought nothing of it. We never authorized anyone to put this on our account. We would like this taken off. The only reason it’s on there is because of this unprofessional sales person. We would like it removed so in the near future we can add points to our account. This should never have been placed.

Desired outcome: We want the “Do Not Buy” statement taken off our Account [protected].
