unethical behavior by employee
I have a complaint on an employee, her name is Kyndie she is a inspector at the resort I work at, I would like to stay anonymous because there is a lot of favoritism, at the resort. I have a family to support. She is very inappropriate, she has made passes at me and others multiple times, I am a nice person so I try to ignore it. She has done different things to others as well, such as smack them on the butt. She tried to sit on someone's lap and got pushed away. She has undressed partially in front of employees. She does not have a problem using foul language at all even if a guest could be around. I really like working at my job, and I can not afford to loose my job, but I can not work for a company that is going to allow these types of behaviors to go on. I hope this can be dealt with as soon as possible, employees are afraid to speak up and they are uncomfortable.

Its absolutely ridiculous that calls can't be answered in less time. I've been on hold now for 40 minutes. Ditto the last time that I called. I have no idea if I'm the first or the last out of a couple thousand in the cue. How much longer do I have to wait, tying up my phone during work hours, which are the only hours that you're open? And no ... there is nothing on your website answering my question. PS. My reviews from stays will now change from highly recommend to just the opposite.
PS. Call got answered 42 minutes later. But, now I've got to hold for Wyndham Club Pass. Agent told me that the wait would be very long and they don't have a direct number to call them on. So, every-time I want to call them, I first have to call and wait for Worldmark reservations (average wait about 45 minutes) only for them to transfer me to Wyndham so that I can hold again. I'm now thinking of selling my 20, 000 points. And now as I wait the connection is getting so scratchy I can hardly hear. I can't wait to get the survey that comes after this call.
Its now been 1 hour 50 minutes. I'm beginning to believe that there really isn't a new Wyndham Club Pass Program ... just a ruse to sell memberships. I'm now taking bets that I will hear the words "I'm sorry but our reservations desk is now closed for the day, please call back on Monday. But I don't want to hang up ... as I won't get their survey ... assuming anyone there really reads them. Aargh.

Well I would say it is worse than ever now. This is January 31, 2023, and I have been on hold for 1 hour 20 minutes with no indication my call will ever get an answer. I am now wondering what happened to all of the US Customer Service persons I used to speak with when the Call Center answered the phone. Not only is the wait time well into the 2 hour mark, but I never hear a US agent answer the phone. Every time I get a response, it is always from someone with a fairly heavy accent from out of the country. Have they increased our dues dramatically, raised the housekeeping fees dramatically, and keep us on hold for hours, and not ever have a vacancy for an owner like myself of 19 years to get a reservation, to also have a foreign Customer Service person answer the call? I am just not certain how a company can stay in business with this type of service?

I am totally with you! I haven't had wait times to get the first (Worldmark) call answered. But I was on hold yesterday for more than an hour before hanging up. This morning, I called the minute they opened. I was on call for exactly one hour, then disconnected. I'm on call now again; it's been almost 1.5 hours. I'm getting increasingly angry as I listen to the on-hold message about getting a survey (haven't received one yet for the other times I've waited), and the "convenience" of Wyndham Club Pass. What convenience! I'm trying to do laundry and clean the house without letting my phone out of my hand. Grrr...
travel share resort at hilton at tukwila in sea-tac wa
The Hilton resort was understaffed and inadequate to meet the customers expectations for checking in and for breakfast. Worldmark should review this resort to seek some solutions that will improve their customer service. I am hesitant to use Travel Share points if this is a norm. My wife and I have been WM owners for over 15 years. This is our first disappointment.
contract cancellation
I cancelled my contract but it wasn't honored. I sent a letter by express mail to Las Vegas to cancel because we were told information that was different from the contract, but it was the wrong address even though it stated cancellation. Found a P o Box address to Florida for another cancellation to the same company sent another express letter. Company (Worldmark) didn't accept.

I find it impossible to talk to anyone here about my account. I am a Worldmark owner and each time I call I am put on a hold line where no one ever answers the phone.
Today I called a Worldmark local number 425/498-2500 and asked for a mailing address so I could write a question and was told there was no wait that I would be put directly through. I was again placed on hold for such a long time that I gave up and went on the web to get an address to mail my request of WorldMark.
high pressure sales pitch to attend presentation before you can get your keys
I have been an owner at Worldmark since 1992. For many years it was great, but since they sold out to Wyndham, it's become a sleazy operation just like what you hear about in Cabo. Anytime you want to stay at their Anaheim (Disneyland) location or St. George Utah (where we are currently staying this Memorial Day weekend), you need to go through a BS con about a 'workshop' and make an appointment for a presentation before you'll be able to receive your 'parking pass' . . . I got used to this at all the Mexican resorts but am 'pissed' that this high pressure / unrelenting sales push is now pervading the US locations. We thought that once we bought (and bought again and bought again) that they would leave us alone. After previous hostility with their sales people from Redmond calling, I'm on the do not call list - but they 'get you' everytime you set foot on a property! I came to Utah to have a nice weekend with my teenage son - but have been stalked and harassed by the sales woman since checkin - calling repeatedly at the unit, and just now approaching me to 'select a time slot' for the presentation while I was on the way to the hot tub! If only they sold alcohol in Utah . . .

DON'T GO TO THIS PRESENTATION! Every single thing they said was bullcrap! We went to Vegas for our anniversary and planned on seeing a couple shows. When we checked in at Excalibur, they had a deal to see 2 shows for $75...so $150 total. But before we could go up to our room, one of the "recruiters" offered to give us a better deal on tickets. She said she could give us the same tickets for $90 if we went to a "vacation presentation". I was hesitant but she said it was only 2 hours with a free breakfast. She said it was an hour for breakfast and an hour presentation...LIE! She also said the tickets for Carrot Top were in the 4th row cuz thats where they buy them...LIE! We were in the last row. She also said the Chris Angel tickets were in the 10th row, again, cuz thats where they buy them...LIE! They were in the last row. Of course we didnt know this until after the presentation. So we show up, get shuttled to the time share place, herded in like cattle and then a salesman comes to get us. He asks us to use the bathroom now cuz there wont be anytime to use it later. Then we are rushed through a tiny breakfast bar to get our plates and taken into a room full little tables where everyone sits with their salesman. We are supposed to eat while he watches us and drills us with questions. Then the main pitch guy comes in. HE WAS OBNOXIOUS! I swear it was like he was trying to put on a comedy show while selling the time share idea. So by the time he's done, we have been there 2 1/2 hours. At this point we go with our salesman and he gives us a tour of the room and then back to the salesroom. Here's where the high pressure sales start...he was relentless. He was trying to sell us one 3-day vacation a year for $16, 000 with 14.9% interest. Plus maintenance fees and membership fees. They had run our credit and he kept saying he knew we could easily afford it so he didn't understand why we weren't doing it. The more we said no, the more upset he got. He finally had us a sign a paper saying we rejected the deal and then we had to see 1 more guy for an evaluation of the presentation...LIE! He was their last ditch guy to get us to buy. He was really rude and mad because we continued to say no. After that, he all but through us out the door. In total, we were there for 4 1/2 hours! It was literally the worst experience and we got the worst tickets all to save $60! I wish I would have read these reviews before we did this! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!
they reps cancelled our booked rooms
We have booked 10 days’ vacation through Worldmark Vacations. We have collected points and we used them to pay for the vacation. We have fully paid for these points, but the company has collected money from our account again and cancelled the vacation. We didn’t know about it, because these reps haven’t warned us. No one explained why they did it, but the company told that all their rooms were booked and they couldn’t help us.

We signed the contract with the company www.worldmark.com. The owner agreed to provide 10 display windows to us. We got only three and the quality wasn’t so good and the owner told us, so we decided to cancel the contract. We paid them money only for three displays, but these guys were too bothersome. They continued to send some offers, emails and called us almost all the time. Too annoying and we highly not recommend them.

I have never in my 7 years of working for numerous companies seen a company mistreat employees and guest the way this one has. Their housekeepers are expected to wear slacks and a recycled zip up shirt and work, not only work bust their ### on the rooms they clean because they are being timed, if you have ever been a housekeeper you know when your moving fast you get hot, they are also told to lie to owners/clients about a rat infestation (that is just disgusting) pay high prices for this place to be lied to and rudely spoken down on by managers, they also yell at there employees in the parking lot before they clock in about things that they shouldn't be saying, expect there people to work long hours with limited breaks, they harass ones they don't like trying to make them quit don't report incidents, accidents, or theft, yes a supervisor there was stealing household items from the rooms, but nothing was done, just imagine this women who had access to your home all the time and your belongings.. And the company has done nothing to stop her.. This is not the place you want to subject yourself too, this women (Charlotte) has been harassing multiple employees at the job site (running y) and her boss (tinika) has done nothing and his letting this Godzilla harass employees and have the power over them still.. .This is just a taste of what really goes on there..

fraud - took $2000 without authorization
I pay my regular maintenance dues through electronic check. Instead of $200 for my maintenance dues the agent entered $2000. The check was subsequently cashed, and I was left without a house payment. I fraud investigation is still open in the matter. It was proved that Worldmark did take the money, is refusing me credit towards anything, and still refuses to give it back. This is a nightmare.

not what they say they are selling you
Whilst on vacation in Las Vegas we were approached and invited to attend a seminar. As our tour of the Grand Canyon was cancelled due to the Government shutdown we thought why not. We were told a wonderful story of what we were purchasing and though this is great and signed a contract for 12000 credits each year. We were lead to believe that this would get us around 2 weeks vacation each year depending on where we stayed. Once we got home and tried to use the system on line we soon learnt that we had had purchased almost a week, on low season in the cheapest room and hotel. So we decided to cancel as it was still within the 5 days period allowed in Nevada. The Vegas office refused to give us. Details on how to do this and eventually after numerous emails I was put onto a Manager who assured me my contract was cancelled and I would receive a refund payment in 15 business days. These days came and went so I tried to get back onto this manager. Eventually after needing to threaten to list this as an unauthorised purchase against my credit card protection I was given a number to what I was told was somebody in Australia I could talk to. I knew this was a USA number.
This number was too the Worldmark Owner Care office and this is where I learnt that my contract was not cancelled and had not been forwarded onto their office for this to occur. Now 2 months later, after many international phone calls, paying interest on the credit card and a lot of stress, I have my refund.
So if you are having trouble call [protected]. I was unable to find this number online anywhere but this was the only part of this organisation that listened to me and helped me.
I am so glad this is no longer a part of my life.
bed bugs
We have a Time Share with World mark Wynham which we used in estes park Colorado. Upon arrival things seem to be ok---BUT when we went to bed, my spouse got bit by a Bed Bug. We saved the photo of it anbd compared the photos to the internet Photos of bed bugs. We went to the office and compalined. The evening manager there was int otal denial and said his hosuekeeping staff is trained in the Bed Bugs. he did NOT offer a refund, another room, a stay at another hotel. The only thing was offered was a new mattress. We lost a total of $1500.00 personal belongings that had to be destroyed. We even had to get Bed Bug spray after our trip back home in hopes that the Bed Bugs did not travel with us ( which they do ). Never ever buy a Time Share from World Mark Wynham. Estes parl Worldmark Wynham needs to be shut down by the State of Colorado. There is another case in Depot Bay Oregon where Worldmark kicked out people due to thier paper work mistake so the couple had to leave late at night to hubnt down a motel. BEWARE OF WORLDMARK WYNHAM !

Hi my name is Josué García and I was a former worker for the company I was fired and discriminated by Robert the.supervisor from maintnance department. They accused me for possesion of drugs with out testing me, and theres alot of emplyees in maintnance department consuming that, no one has motive it so Its not Fair that i got fired with no proof of drug consuming i have a family and now I dont have a job please jeep in mind to my complain because I was fired with no proof and I need a job.

I was also fired due to disrimination. At the Overgaard Bison Ranch office, absolutely everyone is miserable-ALL of the management is trying to leave (and had been from the day I started working there) and we are all supposed to adhere to a "code of conduct" that doesn't apply if you're a so-called minority, especially if you're a male. They don't think twice about discriminating against women, since we're apparently expendable. They were more than happy to fire two of the housekeepers for "conduct" (showing up late more than they should) but there's a scummy guy in maintenance that not only doesn't do his job, doesn't know how to do his job, he also attacks any woman that doesn't respond to his childish advances. Do you think the ### ### in the so-called human resources would fire the only person there that's causing the problem? Of course not, they went out of their way to blame me, because I won't put up with his harrassment, by further harrassing me with false accusations. Imagine having to waste time in meetings with ###s who've never even set foot at the resort, going out of their way to try to scapegoat me because the little weasel dirtbag is a "minority".
Imagine having to put up with snotty broad who pretends she's better than everyone else, who pretends she's too delicate to hear the word "###". Guess why I even used that word? Because the little rat-faced ### stared at my ### during work hours and they didn't feel the need to punish him for it. Of course, some jealous drunk drug addict decided to claim I "hit" her with something, and they took a whole week of work away from me as a result. Hypocrites.
The only good thing about not working there any more is the fact that I'm no longer surrounded by horribly miserable people who do nothing but complain about the one employee that harrassed me constantly, but never make an effort to change that fact. And they probably do nothing because speaking up about what's really wrong there gets you fired.
I was about the only employee there that actually did more than what was required of my job and I lose it as a result. Because they're all too damned stupid to realize that everyone has a problem with that one employee-except for the one person that lied to help him get his job, and lied to help him keep it. The one person stupid enough to be friends with the ### of the earth.

harassment
We have been members of WorldMark for many, many years and, for the most part, have enjoyed the resorts themselves; however, ver since Wyndham bought them out, we have found there are more and more regulations and restrictions, far higher maintenance dues and fees, and incredibly aggressive sales tactics that meet the level of outright harassment! When we go on vacation, we want to enjoy our surroundings and live our lives without interference or disruption. Unfortunately, Wyndham's policy is to pressure existing owners to buy more and more points throughout their resort stay. Saying "no" is NOT an option! Prior to Wyndham taking over, it is true that sales staff would invite owners to attend presentations during their stay; however, they accepted "no, " and moved on to the next owner. Now the policy is that, upon check-in, owners MUST go to a separate counter to retrieve their parking pass, and in order to get it, they must listen to the staff member's sales pitch to get the to attend a presentation that "updates" them on what's new. In reality, the presentation is a high-pressure sales strategy to get owners to buy more points. The worst part is, if owners decline the "invitation, " the sales staff will try to snag owners whenever they pass through the lobby, leave notes on their doors, and call them on the phone in their unit, relentlessly trying to get them to agree to attend a presentation.
I am currently staying at the Palm Springs facility, and within the first two days, we had been approached twice the first day, received a note on our door in the afternoon of our second day, then that night received a phone call. The phone call was the final straw, and I told the woman who called that we were feeling harassed, which was totally unacceptable and to leave us alone.
I just learned that Wyndham is changing their tactics soon. The new approach will be that not only will we be "invited" to attend a presentation at the time of checkin, that sales person will ESCORT US TO OUR UNIT, all the while pressuring us to attend a presentation. If we still say no, they will begin a campaign of KNOCKING ON OUR UNIT DOOR throughout our stay, until we either agree to attend a presentation or get hostile enough that they back off. These tactics are unpleasant enough that we often wonder if it's worth using our timeshare, knowing what we have to endure during our stay.
If we could do it all over again, we wish we hadn't bought into this company, and I would strongly advise prospective owners NOT to buy into this timeshare program. Wyndham is totally focused on making more and more money, while having no interest or concern for the owners' needs, wishes, privacy or dignity. WorldMark employees that we've known and enjoyed for years and years are quitting their jobs at an alarming rate, and they have shared with me that they no longer enjoyed their jobs because of the restrictions and demands Wyndham places on them that do not honor or respect the owners. I say HOORAY for the integrity of the employees, and SHAME ON YOU, WYNDHAM, for being so incredibly greedy and abusive!
I have been a Worldmark owner since 1999. I did use and enjoy the timeshares. In July 2012 I spent a week at the Indio, CA site. After being harassed to conduct a "survey" for a few minutes I met with a salesman. I am an older single woman and I explained to him that I was unemployed and could not afford nor need any more shares. I told him that I intended to pay off the balance of my contract with savings to save the interest and that was all I could afford. He became very aggressive and brought his manager to sit with us. They both told me that if I would just use the money to upgrade I would be eligible to exchange my share for some high end vacation spots which I could rent out and pay the bill. After hours I signed. A year and $13, 000 later, I am still unemployed and have no choice to break my contract, ruining my credit and totally losing all the credits I have paid for all these years. I am just sick.
In 2007, I was 'invited' to attend one of their presentations while in Colorado. I was going through a divorce and had realized that one of the areas I needed to work on was to take more vacations. After watching their video presentation, their lead pitchman went through the various benefits of "ownership", including that it was an "investment" and that the credits could be sold and bequeathed upon one's demise. After being led into a room and given more special time with one of their salesmen, I signed up for something that I was told was easily affordable.
Then the bills started- one from the credit card I had to sign up for, one for the 'credits'...and another for "maintenance dues". Before the end of 2008, the economic collapse in my area took its toll on myself and my business and I moved for a new job in another state. During the transition, I could not afford my home or the expensive vacation credits. I had to walk away. I spent a few thousand dollars on a vacation that never materialized, as I had never set foot on Worldmark property. I figured I'd take the hit on my credit and, in a few years, be back on track.
This past year, I applied for a home loan. Upon review of my credit, the outstanding balance was still being reported by Worldmark. We called and offered to settle for another couple thousand dollars, yet they demanded half of the balance- for a property that I'd never seen or used. The voice on the other end finally admitted that was I really had owned were "credits" and she failed to give me an actual property address that I had owned.
The reporting on my credit had stopped in 2009. Yet, upon having contacted them to settle the 'debt', they resumed their reporting of late fees, presumably because lenders cannot lend if there are outstanding balances on the credit report.
These people are ruthless. They promise you the world, then sell you thousands of worthless credits that are a horrible investment...as you can't get rid of them for anywhere near the purchase price. In the midst of the conversation, the gal on the other end even admitted as much by telling me that my 'credits' (being called property) were never 'resold'.
They are the definition of greed. Stay away.
I think Wyndham is going to lose all their business with these tactics. People will only put up with so much crud before they boycott the company all together.
worthless re-sale value
The truth about Worldmark the Club is that they do use high presure sales techniques. Their time share properties are always booked months out sometimes over a year is the more popular resorts. If you cross over to use the RCI resorts the points exchange rate is horrible. Currently they have only one resort in the Caribbean. No, they are not what I would call a scam, but their are better companies out there for the price. I would go on craigslist to buy a used membership, Or you can contact me and I will gladly sell you my 8000 point account @ $1 per point or $8000.

This company is right up there will all the other scam artists out there. We went to one of their so called seminars because we were told if we went that we would win a free vacation plus a $10 gas card. So for kicks we went, with no intention to purchase anything. After hearing all their bogus lies we decided to sit down with a so called agent and talk about it some more. First off we were told many many times that it was not a timeshare, Lie Lie Lie! My parents were with us and for a wedding gift they decided to pay the $1200 down payment on the package. This supposedly gave us access to all of their hotels whenever we wanted to book and at no cost because we were already paying a total of $5000 after the package was all paid for. A few days later I decided that it really didn't sound all that convincing and don't even know why I contracted with them. Luckily I had a copy of my contract which said we had 30 days to cancel with our money back. I tried calling in to the contact info. on the contract, yea the phone number was a disconnected one. So I tried calling any number I could find, NOTHING! So Finally I got a hold of someone at the local place we were at a few nights prior when we joined up. Yea the company just up and left and supposedly wasn't there anymore. I tried for the full 30 days to get my money back, could never get a hold of anyone who could actually do anything. So all in all they went on my credit and suckered me out of $1200 that I could have used towards something that wasn't a HUGE SCAM.

misled into buying something based on false information by a sales rep
While being on vacation recently, I was lured into a sales presentation with the promise of a price. I was told by the sales rep. that the vacation credits that would take care of air, hotel, activities, cruises, etc. for us. I decided to call one of their departments recently and found out that what we have bought only covers hotels and cruises only and that if we wanted to have other things included we would need to upgrade which would cost us even more. We are already going to pay over $500 dollars on ownership and fees. The cancelation period was only 7 days and now of course, they refuse to cancel the contract. I was a sucker. I was taken advantage of and mislead and sold something based on false information by a sales rep. I feel so humiliated and embarrased. We did sign a contract, but what she told us turned out to be different from what she told us. I feel that is a breach of contract and cause for the agreement to be voided. I have not started to make payments yet. I feel that any monies that I pay them should be returned. I wonder how many people out there are going through the same thing that I am going? These people need to stop. All they want to do is sell. They only want your money and they do not want their product back.

World Mark’s pushy sales person fooled us by misleading us on timeshare pricing. They do not tell you about their ridicules financing rates. In 2008 we got fooled and signed the contract, they did not show us the financing page and they did not get us to initial or sign that page, which has the detail information on the total amount owed by the owner. They make you sign and initial more than 20 times before getting to the actual contract and the exhausted fooled person is not cleared on the total amount of dept. We were under impression that our dept would be paid off in almost 3 years and when they tried to sell us more, we learned that we need to make to pay them for ten more years for the initial purchase. Let’s take these scammers down by filing a group law suit.
