Service department is a mess
Service department is a mess. They don't know what they're doing. It's wasted so much of my time, like four and a half days of work, because they can't even start or finish warranty work on schedule. One of the service advisors even had the audacity to ask me what work they had done, as if I could magically access their computer system and figure it out.
They got this big sign that says you get a free old change and state inspection no matter where you got your Hyundai
They got this big sign that says you get a free old change and state inspection no matter where you got your Hyundai. But when you call to make an appointment, they say the sign is misleading and it's only for folks who buy from them. That's like bait and switch, you know? It ain't right to treat people like that. If they ain't gonna do what the sign says, they should just take it down. I got a picture of the sign, but I don't see how I can upload it here.
Wright Way Hyundai Complaints 7
April 20, 2022
April 20, 2022. I paid sixteen thousand dollars to fix only half of the transmission, even though the whole transmission needed to be replaced. They sold me a thirty thousand dollar truck that was a lemon. The issue has not been resolved. There should be stiffer penalties for dealerships that sell bad vehicles.

I got a response from this biz on ComplaintsBoard.com complaints section, and they said they'd remove me from their database. They asked for the name and address on the mail I got, and the GM said they'd ask them to remove me. But guess what? It's been 6 months and I'm back with the same complaint. Someone didn't do their job! I want to be completely taken off their mailing list (the whole database). I attached the docs I got. I don't want any more contact from this biz. Thanks.
This dealership recently moved from their old address to their new address
This dealership recently moved from their old address to their new address. I'm filing this complaint against them because I think they got the customer database from the previous dealership that used to be in this location. I used to get my old vehicle serviced at the old location, but now they keep sending me physical mail trying to buy an old vehicle that I don't even have anymore. That's not right, they shouldn't have access to my private information. I want to be completely taken off their physical mailing list and stop receiving advertisements for a vehicle I don't own anymore.

In April , my car broke down and I reached out to the dealership for help
In April , my car broke down and I reached out to the dealership for help. They told me to bring it in for repairs. After waiting for 2 weeks, the car was fixed, but then the oil light came on. I contacted the dealership again, and they scheduled an appointment for me in another 2 weeks. When I brought the car to the dealership, they told me I had to pay a diagnostic fee of $115. I told the employee that I wasn't informed about this fee and explained that the car had just been repaired a few weeks ago, so it needed immediate attention. He couldn't assist me, so I left the dealership. Later that day, I called the dealership again and spoke to the service manager. He offered to reduce the fee to $100. Frustrated, I decided to contact Hyundai Corporate because I believe the mechanic didn't do the job correctly.
I bought a new car from this dealership on 4/26
I bought a new car from this dealership on 4/26. They told me many times that I would get free oil changes (every 5k miles) and free state inspections for life on the car. I signed a contract that the dealership also signed, and it said this guarantee. I can show you the document. When I called to schedule an oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection, they said they changed the policy. They said I have to buy a maintenance package to get the free oil change (change the cabin filter). I talked to the Service manager, and they said the contract I signed is only valid for 30 days after it was given. Other people on *** and *** are also mad about this. It's a total scam, and I won't do business with this dealership again. It's dirty what they did to their customers. I hope my complaint can help others.
I bought my car a year ago and I've had to bring it in for service multiple times
I bought my car a year ago and I've had to bring it in for service multiple times. The first time I went for an oil change at the Waynesboro Branch, I mentioned to the mechanic that my car was shaking in a way that didn't seem right. He told me it was normal for Turbo vehicles to do that. But as time went on, the shaking only got worse. I kept complaining, but nothing was done until June when I finally made a service appointment to have it checked out.
Then, I got a call from *** who told me that I needed a whole new engine that would cost $10000. And to make matters worse, he said I didn't have any warranty, coverage, or recalls on it! I was devastated because I had only owned the car for a year and I had been complaining about this issue that they said wasn't a problem. I even paid an extra $100 a month for GAP insurance, but *** told me it only covers the car if it's totaled. Why didn't they explain this to me when I bought the car? It feels like they sold me a faulty car and now they're leaving me with this huge debt.
Now, I have no way to get to work, I have four children, and I still have to make payments on a car that I can't even use. It's so unfair. I asked the service manager how he could sleep at night knowing he was treating hardworking people like me this way. His response was, and I quote, "whatever the case may be, you still need a new engine." It's just not right.
I'm reaching out for help to get the justice I deserve.
I'm a Hyundai owner and I wanted to buy another car from Hyundai
I'm a Hyundai owner and I wanted to buy another car from Hyundai. I checked out the options at Wrightway Hyundai in Waynesboro, VA. I was looking at the 2022 Hyundai Palisade with the VIN: *** on the Wrightway Hyundai website ***. I decided to buy it remotely and the price they gave me was $52,713.08, including taxes and fees. I have the quote attached. But I couldn't put a deposit down online, so I called the dealer to do it over the phone. They said I had to come in person to put the deposit down. I explained that I live in ***, , which is 100 miles away and it would take me more than 90 minutes to get there. They insisted that I had to come in person. I left *** at 5:00 PM on 4/11/2022 and arrived at the dealership at 7:00 PM. When I saw the car, they gave me a printed quote that was almost $5000 more than the online quote. I told them that it wasn't the same as the online quote. They said that was the price they were selling it for. After some discussion, the manager came up with a new out-the-door price of $54,915.57. The MSRP on the car was $1500 more than the window sticker. I said I couldn't agree to that price. I came all the way from *** and drove for 2 hours because I was given an offer online that I was okay with. They insisted that this was their price. They said the price quote on their website was from Hyundai and I would have to talk to Hyundai about it. Later, they admitted that it was a mistake because their computer showed the same price I received online. They didn't acknowledge their offer and I left the dealership feeling unhappy. I wasted 5 hours and drove 200 miles in the evening. This dealer is not trustworthy and they give false prices to get customers to come to the dealership. Dealers like this bring shame to Hyundai. As an existing Hyundai customer, I didn't expect this kind of customer service from a Hyundai dealer. I'm attaching the online price quote and the printed quote for reference.
