Wyndham Vacation Ownership Pool fees and cleanliness

I am staying in the Boscobel Wisconsin area for the next two months caring for two patients, one down syndrome and one with Alzheimer’s. I arrived on May 1 and found that the local hotel, the AmericInn offered swimming to local residents for four dollars a swim. Since I have traveled and worked throughout the US and Canada as well as Europe and Australia, though I live in Hawaii, I was delighted to be able to find a local pool to swim in. Generally public pools even indoor ones run about three dollars a swim or $30 a month but in England it might be 30 pounds or in Europe €30. I found out when I went to the hotel that they had raised their rate from $80 for 20 swims to $125, but having no other choice, I signed up. I tried to negotiate rates with the manager, but to no avail. Additionally I found that the water turned out to be extremely cloudy for lack of chlorine and that the manager preferred that as he told me. I feel his rates are completely out of line with the rest of the world and certainly the US, but worse his refusal to keep a pool clean, especially during a pandemic, is disturbing. I would hope that management at Wyndham will address both these issues with him and that he would consider lowering his rates and clean his pool for local people to be able to swim.

Desired outcome: Reasonable rates and clean clear water.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Employee discount

Your employee discount sucks and your customer care is sub par at best. When looking up dates to reserve as an employee there is no option to have a discounted rate even though the website claims to have one. When you cllick on the link for the employee rate it doesn't pull up anything because it doesnt exist.

Desired outcome: FIX THE TREATMENT OF YOUR EMPLOYEES. GIVE US AN ACTUAL EMPLOYEE DISCOUNT ON ROOMS ETC THAT WE CAN ACCESS THROUGH EITHER A LINK OR A LOGIN OF SOMESORT INSTEAD OF HAVING US SIGN UP AS A REGUALR REWARDS MEMBER.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Laquinta hotel

I made reservations and was placed in room 103. This morning around 7:45am the fire alarm went off. The whole bottom floor was covered in smoke and had a burnt plastic smell. I was woken up in trauma and quickly exited the building. The smoke smell was so thick I could barely breathe from my asthma 😩😫🤧and my COPD. I asked the front clerk if I could possibly move my room while I go to the laundry mat to clean my smoke filled clothes. He can to the room to inspect it and came back with some air freshener that he plugged in to the wall and made the atmosphere worst. He stated my clothes ,the room and the hotel didn't smell like smoke and I was a liar. I contacted booking.com who contacted you via phone and he ignored the calls so they sent an email. I'm unable to be in that room and would like a total refund. I have to be to work in a couple hours my clothes smell like smoke and the air quality is terrible.. I'm outside right now because I can't breathe. PLEASE Contact me Richard Johnson [protected].

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Time share trade off with wyndham.

After having this time share we discover that I made a terrible terrible mistake. I continue to pay for the time share an everything. When the pandemic hit I lost my income and I had to decide what to pay. Contacted Wyndham for assistance at the time I was told no relieve was instituted for the time share I had to keep paying. Contacted a company to try to get out the time share I was not able to use their service because of my low balance (to them was low) 14,000. I felt let down in every way. Then I received a letter from Wyndham stating that if I gree with them they could take the property back with out no refund to me and I would be free from the time share. At this point I was so happy and I sign the paper work and verify that I will be free and clear with the credit beurre.

Well I just received a notification that my account is delinquent for 13858.

Put a dispute with the credit agency and they said that wyndham said yes I owe on the property. How can this be? My credit is in shambles because of this mess. Please help me

Desired outcome: To be removed from the credit agency, with a satisfactory resolution to the account and to be removed from this nightmare,

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Exit program

First, change the Wyndham Cares Dept to another name because Care should not be in the vocabulary. After speaking with multiple people/department over the last 2 months plus, we are just now getting the Exit started which we are told may take over a year. We have been given wrong directions by multiple people which has cost additional monies. Without going into every issue, this recent one sums up the frustration. Today, speaking with Marissa in the CARES Dept., topped it all. She basically told us that she didn't see any of our concerns the way that we do, in other words, she has no idea why any of our concerns are valid. She was very rude. When asked if we would be prompted to do a survey, as with other Wyndham Dept, she said that that Dept did not offer one, No Wonder.

Nothing will be done because they just need warm bodies to fill seats and answer the phone. We have asked that a Supervisor respond to us for 2 months now. When asked when we may hear something, Marissa said they were still responding to owners from November and December of 2021. If that is true then Wyndham has bigger problems than we are even aware of.

This has been a horrible experience and there is no light at the end of the tunnel as again, we are told the process may take well over a year.

They deceived an elderly woman, my mom, into giving up all her points to go towards maintenance fees that she would have to continue to pay throughout the whole process, again over a year. Then the process was not started until 2 months later, so those funds went towards nothing. That was a concern that Marissa could not understand, 'she didn't see it that way' were her exact words. We were also told to use a Title Company to split a deed that did not exist. After paying them, they discovered there was no deed and reimbursed us less a $60 fee. Again, according to Marissa, not their fault we paid that company. Wyndham told us that was what we had to do, giving us the name and phone number of the company!

We are exiting because my father died and my mother does not want the over $1000 a month maintenance fees. This has only caused her added anxiety and frustration. They had almost 2,000,000 points and paid tons of money to you for many years and now that we are trying to Exit, this is the way we are treated. Abhorrible. My parents paid extra money, again which Marissa knows nothing about, 'anyone is free to sell their timeshare back', in her words. yes, by using a third party and getting a fraction of pennies on your dollar. That is why they paid. To protect whomever of us sold it back so that we could a little more value out of it.

Why you pay fees for over a year, not using points is very unclear as well, again since monies were initially paid to be able to do that. My dad always stood up for Wyndham and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. How wrong he was and disappointed he would be. Our family will never give anyone a recommendation to be in any way associated with Wyndham.

Desired outcome: A call from anyone that has any authority within a reasonable time frame.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Worldmark's latest website transition to wyndham destinations subdomain

www.worldmarktheclub.com has been discontinued. The new website is: https://worldmark.wyndhamdestinations.com

The problem? I attempt to log in and it forces a reset. I get the email, click the link in the email, reset the password, then type in the two-factor code that was delivered via SMS text, and then I'm in the account. Yay!

I log out.

I log back in and the website doesn't recognize my email or my account number (not recognized), and by the way, I don't even know if they want my email or my account number or the username they announced belonged to me the first time I registered with Wyndham in the switch (or takeover of Worldmarktheclub.com).

I try all three. None of them are recognized. I have to go through the email password reset ALL OVER AGAIN.

Thanks, Wyndham. You just reminded me (AGAIN) why I can't stand you. Why don't you leave a good thing well enough alone? Worldmark is great. Wyndham? Not so much.

Desired outcome: I'd love to be able to log in to my account without going through the laborious password reset: email > reset > 2-factor code through SMS. EVERY TIME.

Hello, I'm on the same boat. Were you able to access your account? I tried calling their customer service several times to no avail. I was even on hold for several hours. So frustrating. I'm in the process of taking legal actions against this company.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Worldmark The Club by Wyndham

Due to a mistake made by booking at Wyndham, they actually got the WRONG YEAR! We have just received back the points that were taken, but we are trying to get back $145.90 paid on 12/22/20 for Wyndham Club. Due to Wyndham's mistake and we didn't stay at the facility because of this, our payment should be re-imbursed. Unfortunately, it is impossible to get through on the phone. I have spent two days trying to call on [protected] #1. Yesterday I was over one hour waiting, and had to give up. Today 3/12/22 I have been waiting for 1 hr 45 minutes, and still waiting as I type. I get the usual 'unprecedented amount of calls, wait time is greater than 30 minutes'. Obviously, if there is so long a wait isn't it time you had more operatives answering calls? This is a disgraceful situation. Finally phone has answered after 1 hour 56 minutes wait. We are being transferred to Club Pass and again, message says 'higher than normal wait times'. You really need to put on more people if this is going to be the norm. I have better things to do on a weekend than sit for hours on the phone listening to annoying music.

Desired outcome: I want my $145.90 money reimbursed as fast as possible and as little wait time on the phone.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Would like to sell my timeshare

Purchased 2019, due to the pandemic NZ closed making it impossible to travel?

Limited booking available in NZ.

Ask if these could be sold through them.

Completely declined?

Does anyone no if here is a clause in this contract to sell back to Wyndham?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Reinstating Points

We booked a reservation on 12/1/2021, at Club Wyndham Skyline Tower for 12/25/2021 - 12/27/2021. We live in South Carolina and our plans were to travel to New York for the holidays from 12/22/2021 and vacationing in NJ on our way home. On 12/21/2021, I was diagnosed with COVID-19 and all of our travel plans had to be cancelled. This involved hotel stays in Albany, Binghamton and West Nyack, NY. My Club Wyndham reservation was booked online so I immediately went online to cancel. The next day I contacted Wyndham to have my 30, 375 points reinstated and was told that it couldn't be done. I was told that I should have called instead of cancelling online because the "system" automatically deducts the points and the "system" cannot be overridden. I also was told that it was my fault that I didn't call and I should have purchased point protection/travel insurance. I now understand that I made in error in not calling by 7 pm (I cancelled online at 7:08 pm), but I had no intention of purchasing the point protection because I absolutely was planning to stay- it was on my way home! The cancellation was due to the pandemic, something which I have no control over. We have been Wyndham owners for 20 years and to be told that Tiana, the supervisor has the final say and that the "system" cannot accept an override and reinstate my points is truly ridiculous and unacceptable. I would appreciate having my situation looked into and having my points reinstated. Thank you.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Cancel a charge

on 11-13-2021 ramada inn, kingman az. asked nite desk person for room on main level with parking in front of room.on finding the room, it was in an inner hallway.went back to desk, was told i had to talk to manager to cancel charge-i have ALS and can't walk very well.did not stay at ramada-i have left messages 6 times at desk-no response-does not matter what time i call no manager-very poor customer service.i have refered to my credit card company.will not likely be using wyndham like i have in past

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Discovery membership

Paid for the discovery membership because of covid the ground border was closed because of medical reasons I can't fly. Two years as gone bye can't use the travel membership is closed no refund or travel taken. Since the account is closed Now Wyndham wants a payment for this membership.

I went into this agreement with full intention of paying for and using this vacation.

The total amount paid for this was 4066.70us and with nothing showing from it is pretty disappointing

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Timeshare purchase

I purchased TIMESHARE in February prior to covid so I understood availability. I am still not able to book any trip I want it is horrible. So far I went on two trips both were not where I wanted to go because of availability. Even trying to book over a year out I cant go where I want. I have tried so many times to book somewhere I want to go and it is always full. When I call customer service just says buy more points. I cant travel, where I want to go points, won't help me. I was told when I purchased I could travel once a year with my family anywhere I wanted to go. They lied harrassed and misrepresented. I would like my 20, 000 dollars back. My monthly fees more than cover the two trips I took and both resorts smelled moldy and old and I was harassed at each one to buy more. How can you relax when you are trying to duck out and in resorts so you don't get harassed. Wyndham timeshare is a waste of money you can travel with much less money using airBNB.

We have been locked into this awful mess for several years. Wyndham doesn't care that we were misled when we purchased. We haven't made a payment to the timeshare in years, but they are still relentlessly trying to collect. Wyndham doesn't care about the individuals they are harming during this process. They are just worried about the next paycheck

We have been Promised our own personal consultant, the incentive to never attend an owners meeting again if we signed for $84, 000, and the most infuriating complaint that we currently have zero equity. This purchase was supposed to be life changing for my family, but instead it crushed our hopes and dreams financially. This entire misleading corrupt system Wyndham operates should be shut down, and I want my money back.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Quality of the room's cleanliness

My name is Heidi Dzendzel; I am a Wyndham hotel Diamond member #103377225H, a Vacation Club Resort member and a Wyndham Business credit card holder.

On Monday, August 23, 2021, I checked into the Baymont Northwood hotel room #168 at 3 pm. My guest and I both placed all our luggage on top of the bed and left the room within 5 minutes to meet with friends. We returned to the room after 10 pm that night.

As we began to walk around, we found areas in the room were unclean and some actually disgusting. I understand this was a recently purchased hotel by Wyndham. The hotel name, is still advertised on Google as the American Best Value Inn. I feel this hotel needs to be investigated for its lack of quality per Wyndham standards; and by any motel and hotel cleanliness standards. In addition, it advertised a free breakfast with the stay (see ad attached). In the morning of August 24, the hotel offered no breakfast, no breakfast snack bag, no coffee, nor a breakfast voucher to a local restaurant.

I did stay overnight (see paid receipt attached) for the following reasons: (1) it was late in the evening and we were exhausted, (2) I knew it was for one night, (3) after inspection, the sheets and the bathroom sink counter were clean, and (4) the free breakfast. I am not seeking the $45.49 cash, however I am asking for the 3, 000 points to be returned back into my account. Below, see the pictures I took of the room that night; and their explanations. (If the 15 pictures do not appear, please contact me to resend them to a different address.

Desired outcome: I am not seeking the $45.49 cash payment, however I am requesting for the 3,000 points (or better) to be returned back into my account.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Cannot use points/book etc

I am beyond frustrated with Wyndham. Once they received my money for 200, 000 points they do not care. They don't care if I do not get the vacations I want. They don't care if I am happy. There is no refund option. They literally got over $2, 000 and I got nothing. I tried to use my free week with them; NO OPTIONS! Not that they care but I'll never use or recommend anything to do with Wyndham. I have tried to use their services and a different story was told when I purchased vs when I am booking. VERY ANGRY "CUSTOMER" Im not really a customer because I received nothing; I just gave them my money like an idiot!

I just want Wyndham to give me some value for my money. I WILL NOT spend another dime with them until they put their money where their mouth is. Take care of me and my family!

Desired outcome: Book my vacation, get me a hotel/renal car I DON'T CARE

Wyndham in nothing but trouble low class scam & using people’s money 💰 and you get nothing but frustrating. A ripoff co.
They lied to me just to get to charge my credit card.
And did NOT return my money ❗️

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Discovery Program

Terrible experience with using this points system, extremely long wait times to talk to anyone, due to covid and family vaccination time (just now everyone fully vacinated 7/21) the points are now expired and Wyndham was not able to help me do anything about it. I feel pretty dumb as I am still paying for these points that I seem to have no way to use.

This feels like a terrible scam.

Wyndham Vacation Ownership Pervert

The hailey Idaho americinn location manager is allowing a pervert to live at the hotel for less that 120 a week. Not only does he have his employee staying with him there. They are running his window cleaning business out of his hotel room
He is a pervert and says nasty things to the maids. He watches girls at the pool

Rented a unit at this place at this location with a family of 3 small kids on May 28-31 when got there said no reservation was for them found a unit but was dirty found another unit but bed bugs had to wake kid's up each time and all was tired from driving 9 hrs and moving 3 times so to give them another place for a good vac.
