I believe I was wrongfully terminated. I reported bullying and hostile work environment to HR that I was in a hostile working environment. I received no 30, 60, or 90 day follow up in writing as was noted on my PIP and was not told what I was doing wrong. I asked for feedback and requested to get follow up in writing but only got that I was doing well and not allowing myself to be bully me any more. I called Wyntegrity hot-line and I did not hear anything for 2 weeks. HR met with me 1 day before my PIP was to expire and when I advised that I hadn't received any feedback they advised me that they were putting my PIP. I told HR that my PIP was due to expire but they made me sign that it was on hold and would be removed after they investigated my claim. I filed my first claim in January and have worked under extreme pressure since. I asked my manager how I was doing and requested an update on the PIP on 5-15 during my monthly performance review. I was just advised by my manager last week that I was meeting all expectations, doing great, and that my team was doing great. My manager advised that would talk to HR to let them know that I could be removed from the PIP. Today I came to work and was advised by HR that they were continuing with the PIP and terminating me for failure to meet my performance expectations as a supervisor of Wyndham. I have had a 21 year career with an impeccable record. I have had amazing reviews as a leader of people and always led high performance teams. I have consistently met the monthly performance metrics while at Wyndham. I believe I was terminated for filing a claim. The supervisor prior to me was terminated. The supervisor prior to him stepped down due to the hostile working environment.

There are hundreds of complaints, 20 here, 25 there, but Wyndham Worldwide owns all of them, Fairfield, RCI, Worldmark (Trendwest), Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Why should they get away with the appearance of only a few complaints.
I grew up in the timeshare business, it had a black eye. Just as it was healing, Wyndham comes along.

Combined there are over 500, 000 owners. Therefore even if there were 5, 000 people complaining that is ONLY 1% of the total ownership. The only people complaining are those who didn't bother to understand what they were buying. Who's fault is that?

Or those who were lied to, believed wyndam's exagerations and high pressured.
I know personally. I own over 1 million points and have enjoyed many vacations at their (mostly) excellent resorts and have paid out the ### for mortgage and maintenance fees.
I sell my extra weeks on my own. I WOULD like to sell my contract but unlike other REAL property I own, I CAN'T. SHOW ME ONE COMPANY THAT WILL LIST MY CONTRACT WITHOUT AN UP FRONT FEE. YOU CAN'T. I just listed and sold a $200, 000 home and paid my agent commissions when I sold it; NOT BEFORE.
I have also talked with many, many owners and most of them have complaints.
Who's at "fault?" Any one who listens and believes. Like P.T. Barnum said...

Why do all the complaints on Wyndham, Worldmark, Fairfield, Trendwest, and others keep being separated. There are 370 Complaints against Wyndham and its the same company as all of the above.

I too experienced retaliation at Wyndham. For months, I had a supervisor who was on my back constantly and treated me like a child. She would berate and humiliate me in front of coworkers on a regular basis. This supervisor had been with the company for over 20 years and for some reason, upper management liked her. When I complained to my local managers, both the reservations manager and general manager, nothing was done. My general manager in fact sent me harsh emails stating that nothing was going to change and if I didn't like it, I was free to leave. Next, I went to corporate HR who conducted an investigation but they said that everyone they talked to spoke highly of the supervisor and no further action was being taken. Shortly afterward, the write ups started coming. When I asked my reservation manager about something I had been written up for, her reply was "when you point fingers, don't whine when fingers get pointed back at you". The write ups continued for several months. Most of what I was written for was bogus and even what wasn't was blown way out of proportion. At one point, I was given a "final warning". Then they suspended me so they could do an "investigation" on me but I knew they intended to terminate me so I quit. It is worth noting that only a few months before I complained, I was given an excellent performance review and a raise. No rational person would believe that it was a coincidence that these write ups came after my complaint especially since both my general manager and reservation manager made it clear they were angry about my complaint about the beloved supervisor. Corporate HR failed to see a very obvious pattern with this. It was clearly retaliation and I am disturbed that they turned a blind eye to it. I am sure I am not eligible to be rehired at Wyndham and that's perfectly fine. I'd eat out of a garbage dumpster before I work for those clowns again.
