AAMCO Transmissions review: Transmission service 1

I had Torque converter installed on my 2017 GMC Acadia about 2 months ago at the Aamco 1730 Crestwood Blvd., Birmingham, AL. Phone # [protected]. I paid $1,800.00 for the service. I had an engine light come on last week and I had it checked out and was informed that there was a problem with my torque converter. I took it back to Aamco and told them what I had found. The man in charge got his diagnostic tool and ran a test and drove the vehicle. He informed me that he couldn't find anything wrong and cleared the light. He said if the engine light came back on for me to come back. The next day the light came back on, so I took it back. He did the test on it again and told me that it was probably some type of invalid code and suggested that I ignore the light and keep driving the vehicle because it was driving fine. I decided to take it to the GMC dealership and have them check it out. They gave me a printout showing there was a problem with the torque converter. I took this back to the man in charge of the Aamco and he said that I would need to leave my vehicle with them for a couple of days so they could check it out. After 2 days he called me and said that there was something else wrong with my vehicle and it would cost me $1,200.00 to repair it. I told him that I would be to pick up my vehicle. When I got there the manager accused me of trying to get my vehicle repaired for free. He was very disrespectful with a condescending attitude. The light is still on.
