the hartford is damaging your brand
Re Policy Number: 55RBA374862
Dear Hartford,
Please appeal / escalate this matter to the next manager's level, and just keep appealing / escalating until you get to the CEO or a manager that really knows the true value of loyal clients and customer satisfaction. Please keep me informed as to what level you are at along with all names and titles that were engaged.
This is REALLY Pathetic! Totally un-American! I will lobby against your firm (and AARP) in social media with this story until I pass! That should be at least 40-years! This will co$t THE Hateford a lot more than 33-days of credit!
Who did you protect / cover after [protected], Casper? One policy holder / one driver, ALL passed; who's driving? No one had written permission to drive the vehicle or could even be granted permission to drive the vehicle after death of the sole owner (but you know that!). Since our police friends of the family told us to the remove the plates to protect the vehicle from theft, we did (on [protected]). Do you by law still have to cover grand theft auto drivers? The title and plates were given to the person designated by the owner’s will. YOU GUYS are just scams artists! The world will know! I wonder how AARP feels about you damaging their brand; I’’ ask them.
Furthermore, you did not answer all my questions; I need to reference the law / statue before I generate my formal complaint to the government. Please provide ASAP! THANKS!
If there is no law (please advise), then it’s just your policy, then you need to find an executive that can make a policy exception.
THANK YOU for your time and prompt attention in this matter.
Regards,
Ruth L. Lawrence

There is a travel industry discount and its $400.00 cheaper...

Well you wouldn't find the rate because you have to book it thru Norwegian...

Hartford Insurance
I had five policies on homes and vehicles with Hartford worth over $7500 per year. As it turns out ONE policy was NOT set up on autopay even though I thought it was.
My wife and I were out of the country for a few months and did not see the "notice of cancellation" for non payment for ONE of the policies.
When we became aware of it, I immediately tried to pay it and resume it and Hartford not only would not renew it, they would not sell me a new policy for 6 months. (Hartford cust svc manager Margaret Platt).
And I STILL HAVE FOUR OTHER POLICIES WITH THEM.
I have been a Hartford customer for over 10 years with only one minor claim.
I'm done with them and switching to someone else.
Hartford is the worst. I'm taking them to Court.
I agree! AARP is merely a front for other businesses, & I don't trust them. The Hartford is a rogue Insurance Company and AARP is pretty useless.
refuses to comply with a.d.a.rules for websites
When I signed up for aarp I was given the chance to register for aarp. When I went to register, it has pictures, saying I am not a robot. The problem is if you are blind you can't read the pictures, so you are not able to sign in. This is discrimination! The a.d.a. Has rules that a website has to follow for the blind, or visually impaired, aarp! Aarp refuses to comply with a.d.a. Rules.
commercial
I'm furious about your attack ads against changes in Obama care. Besides being dishonest, it's because of the support off aarp and others we got saddled with a horrible health care plan in the first place where premiums soar out of control and people can no longer keep their own doctors. On top of that, Obama stole from Obama care to make this disaster look less awful. The hypocrisy of your attack ads is reprehensible and shameful. ANYTHING is better than Obamacare and your behavior then and now is despicable.
I too object to your ads opposing changes to Obama care. I agree that I hold AARP partially responsible for the implementation of Obamacare itself. I rejoined AARP this past week after objecting to this organization for several years, only to become angry again with the current ad. It is misleading and dispicable.
renewal of my aarp
On May 23, 2017, I mailed out my AARP renewal with a personal check for $16.00 for one year.
I checked my bank account and it shows where my check CLEARED my bank on June 7, 2017 and the $16.00 was taken out of my account.
Today, June 16, 2017, I get ANOTHER renewal letter telling me I need to RENEW my membership and they will RESTORE my status as ACTIVE MEMBER and send me my new cards!
What gives? I thought AARP was pretty legit and processed my membership, but, it seems AARP has NOT DONE SO!
Please CORRECT THIS and SEND ME MY NEW CARDS! And, quit Mailing me these notices!
In 2014 I paid my AARP dues for three years. Since then I have been receiving tree to five requests for membership renewal every year. Based on my experience with the AARP services I will never renew my AARP membership again.
budget rent a car
I recently rented a car from Budget and received an AARP discount band prepaid to save money. I needed to cancel and modify my Las Vegas reservation to a one-way to Los Angeles, but was unable to do that without paying a $50 cancellation fee. Plus, Budget also wanted another $350 for a weekly rental but the corporate 800 number (which is as hard to reach as Social Security or the IRS) said there were none (Las Vegas office however said there were plenty one ways available). I found a car from Thrifty for $75 for the week. Budget? Never again.
water service line insurance, westport,? ct
Please be advised that in response to a mailer sent by aarp regarding the above subject, I called the company, homeserve usa repair management corp. The person answering my call was thoroughly unfamiliar with any resonable answers to several questions I posed. She responded with what appeared to be pat answers for which she wasobviously tutored and did not bother to listen to what I was asking. This represented an utter waste of my time and I inevitabley ended the phone conversation as the time I was spending was clearly not worth the difference in pricing betweeen the aarp offer and what I am presently paying. Fundamental insurer information was lacking from both the flyer enclosures as well as the insurer's website. This offer represents what I see as "sales overreach", expecting people to sign up merely because the offer is associated with aarp. I have a number of insurance transactions with aarp affiliates and never have I been so obviously limited to acquiring basis information as to an insurer's financial condition.
I would suggest you seek another partner for this product offering.
Respectfully submitted,

my hmo crippled me for life, declaring elder abuse of kaiser surgeons.
Hello, Two Surgeons falsified my Medical Records in order to hide Post OP Incident that crippled me for life! I was an Elder at the time and I was 61 years of age. Federal and State agencies only Investigate the Medical Files, they do not do a personal Investigation to see if my serious allegations are at all true. Kaiser falsified my records three times prior me walking out on July of 2016 for fear of my life! I've contacted the below agencies and Personnel:
Surgeon General, Admiral Vivek Murthy, State Senator Dianne Feinstein, Managed Health, Livanta Org, OPM, Two San Diego Attorney Generals Office, Elder Abuse Protective Agency, State Medical Board, District Attorney's Office, San Diego. Also 20 Attorney's who do not care to take my aces due to past Malpractice claims which causing extreme hardship and loss of revenue to take on a case like mine. I also sent two letters to Europe's President with no answer. This did happen to me! I have 27 years with Dept of Defense and Dept of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, Ret/Did 2001. Thank You, Robert. [protected]
Mistakes were made by the complaints board on my complaint to AARP. Europe should be AARP, aces should be case. Thank You! Robert.
commercial
I find it very disturbing to only see commercials that advertised interracial relationships that consist of black men with white women. If you're going advertised interracial relationships, consider black women and white men relationships as well. I think it's insulting and bias and the commercials should reflect a universal of people. And not one particular group!
tax help
I did all the appropriate things. I typed in my zip code and found location choices. I found one that was on my way to work and that said no appointments necessary but I did call the phone number listed. I left a voice mail about making an
Appointment. My call was returned the next day. I was told I could not go to that location once she found out what city I lived in. I thought it was my choice from what was listed on your site. If not then only one, the closest to me, should have appeared and not several.
She wanted to argue with me and tried referring me to several other locations because she thought I should go to. I didn't want to go to them. I explained to her that in order make this appointment I needed to take time off from work and this site was closer to my work. She still want to argue with me that I could not go to that location.
In my opinion it was my choice to go where I wanted from the locations listed on your website.
Therefore this free service that I was entitled to cost me because I had to find a place that would help me and I had to pay for the services that I could have received free from aarp. Also, more lost wages because of the amount of time I was required to take off work for this appointment.
Very dissatisfied member!
free travel bag
I was expecting to receive the bag that was pictured on your advertisement information. Please send the appropriate bag.
If this is the correct bag then I am completely disgusted with aarp's total misrepresentation just to get members to join. I certainly hope that nothing else has been so exaggerated in member benefits.
Please let me know when the replacement will be sent.
Thank you, bobbie forcier

failure to cancel hotel reservation and five clueless agents
La quinta had a reservation that had been made through the aarp/expedia travel center. They knew this because they had received an identifying tag with the reservation. It said, "via travelscape. Exp.[protected]. Point-of-sale: expedia."
Although I had cancelled the reservation and had received online confirmation of this from aarp/expedia, somehow they had not sent the cancellation to the hotel. Yet, the first five of their agents insisted the reservation had been cancelled and that the hotel was wrong. Only the sixth expedia agent I spoke with knew how to track the identifier back to the reservation I had made. Only she offered to call the hotel and cancel it.
I had to spend four hours over two days trying to figure this out with the hotel and trying to get the reservation cancelled by aarp/expedia.
This experience matches most of my experience over the years. Many of their agents are clueless when they encounter a problem. Half the time they tell me that their computer system is offline or that it won't allow them to make a reservation. Half the time they speak such poor english or have such a thick accent, I cannot understand them, or they don't really understand what i'm saying.
I have requested a $200 credit from the aarp/expedia travel center toward a future reservation of a hotel or rental car, to compensate me for all the time, effort and aggravation I have had to go through to resolve this and other problems.
lack of aarp membership card.
My name is Warren H. Potter. My address is 624 Nottingham Drive, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23452.
I signed up with AARP and you sent me a little cooler bag and included a note with the bag that said that I should have received a membership card by the time that I received the bag. The note said that I could print my own membership card if I had not yet received my membership card. Why have you not mailed me a membership card?

aarp #2039
I live in a senior rent subsidized apartment complex. A flyer listing trips by a group using the AARP name was sent out in June 2016. On the form it said to get your $100 deposit in as soon as possible as seats go quick. I had picked out a trip to Lancaster, PA dated for November of 2017 - a year and a half away. No where on my paperwork does it say you will lose your deposit. Thanksgiving of 2016 I found out my niece became engaged and it is the same week as the trip she will be marrying. Being on disability and having a limited income I am unable to do both. I asked the AARP #2039 for my money returned and they have refused - They said i have to wait until the trip goes and if the bus is filled then i will get the money back, but if the bus doesn't fill they use it towards the trip and i lose my money. This trip is a year away. I don't understand how they can hold onto money for a year and a half, collect interest on it. I have contacted the better business bureau and they also agree but they won't do anything. I have told many people in my complex about this scam and they are also saying it's terrible - many said "this is why i don't belong to AARP because I've heard of this happening before" AARP is suppose to help seniors and seniors with financial issues, not keep their money. I could see keeping my money if i cancelled a few months before, but over a year before? Outrageous. This has completely turned me off of AARP and i will not renew my membership if this is not taken care of. I'm not even a member of this local group and I don't know any of them, so i am really at a disadvantage. I've been scammed and it's up to you to salvage the AARP name. hartford auto insurance roadside assistance
aarp #[protected] 2
hartford auto #55phb383033
today my front tire got stuck in a hole and I spent 2 hours on hold with Hartford roadside assistance.
Another hour later I received a call back and was told that none of the 20 something providers would not come out to my house
just too bad for me?
I called a and they waived the initial protocol after hearing what lame a######s Hartford is to leave a 70 year old woman helpless.
A a truck came out and in less than 1 hour I was out of the hole.
This is insure acne for older people? That takes over 3 hours to tell a 70 year old woman that they would not be able to provide roadside assistance.
Do not provide roadside assistance if you cannot deliver and create unsafe situations for a 70 year old woman.
Please tell me how is it that a helped me in 2 minutes and Hartford could not even come and take a look?
This is insurance for older people? not at all safe for an older person! in addition to being very traumatic. Do I need to get an attorney?
I would like to be re-imbursed for my AAA membership that I had to buy today 12/10/2016
Expedia
From nov. 16th to nov. 19th i stayed at the south point hotel in las vegas. I booked this hotel through the crooks of expedi and was over-charged $63.00 from south point after expedia got $265 before i even checked into this thieving hotel not to mentioned having to pay $85 just for laundry! i only picked this hotel because it was the closest one to where a convention i was attending was held but had no available rooms! there were two other hotels that provided on site coin machines for me to do my own laundry but were much farther. But i should have picked either circus circus or best western because on top of taxi trips of $30 round trip for 3 days, that damn laundry bill for $85 and that theft of $63, i would have been better off!
car rental
I have rented a car through carp and upon booking I asked what will be the total amount that my credit card will be charged and if there is another charge that we be added and I was advised that the only amount that will be held was for the price of the rental. Well upon going to the place and the attendant did advise that the price was what was quoted but what she failed to tell me and also the carp rep that booked the car was that they were going to do a 200.00 block on my card. This was a total surprise when I reviewed my credit card transactions. As I called the Budget Car rental place I was advised that this the standard amount that would be held I did advise that this is not the price that I was not given or I would not have booked because it was more than the rental amount. So I called AARP and Budget both and found that AARP rep are not aware that there are being two different amounts given that the price that AARP rep gives is not the actual price that your card will be blocked off for. So the moral to this story is...Some one needs to advise the vendors that AARP deal with to please disclose any, all, and possible fees, prices, or deposits that may or could be blocked off. I would have not had a problem with the charge if I had known inadvertence and prepared for it. This makes AARP reps appear to not know what they are talking about or have little or no knowledge of the product and services that AARP offer. Thanks you for your time...Jacqueline Brown [protected]. Please feel free to contact me.
