Abella Mayfair unauthorized credit card charges and deceptive practices

I order free sample of Abella Mayfair products, I authorized shipping and handling, and said no to everything else. I order went through the on Dec 22, 16 I never received my free samples until In Jan, when I got my MasterCard statement today when I notice two charges in us on Jan 5 and posted on Jan 9 and 2 more on Feb 4 all on the same statement. No where at the time did it say in email or during order process say it was a subscription.
But charges were made by a company called For ever beautiful face .com
Of which I never authorized charges for. I called to request full refunded and they refuse to except the product back but they would give me $50 us back, I told them I wanted a full refund. I filed dispute with the credit card company for un authorized charges. So company I place order with was surpose to be Canadian In Toronto, the email came from Toronto with an Canadian phone number. Their Canadian site has been shut down for new orders, so that should tell you something.

Abella Mayfair harmful products and unauthorized credit card charges

Request a Refund

The company Abella Mayfair promised to deliver free samples for $5 in December and I had carefully selected No for all other options listed on the promotion on Facebook. No where it was mentioned that the choosing the free sample would cost me $ 190 after 14 days.

The company did not deliver me any free sample product as they called it- until Feb 13. (Two months delay) but charged my card for 190 US $ in the month of December and January again
when I received the product and applied the same on my face, it burnt my face and caused all red rashes with a treatment which my doctors have suggested would last for months apart from nearly 50, 000$ cost.

I request for complete refund of my money along with the damages cost that I am now going to bear and request you to stop this fraudulent company from duping customers.

Thanks
Sapna

Abella Mayfair rapid wrinkle control

They bury their billing information in the TOS. You think you are paying for shipping and handling to try their product for free and then you get a huge bill for well over $100 for the "free" sample and then you get the stuff sent to you each month. The product is garbage as is their marketing style. They blame the customer for not reading the billion word essay that is their TOS. They usually get a few hundred dollars out of their victims before they catch on and start to complain. There is a place where you can return the merchandise but there is a time limit and I personally am beyond the limit. Any company that has to pull a stunt like this is a scammer and should be prosecuted.

Abella Mayfair the abella mayfair free trial offer is a scam

The company billing appears as newskinsolution.com & healthyface. This is a scam, they falsely advertise a free trial & send you a small sample size of their product for which you are told you will only pay shipping & handling of $4.95 u. S. & $3.95 u. S.
2-3 weeks later they charge you the full amount for each product on your credit card statement without your authorization or notifying you. I called the customer service number which is a b. C. Area code (250) and am pretty sure the call was routed to the phillipines, or somewhere overseas. The agent was quite rude and stated that the 'free trial' is only effective for 14 days, after which you are charged full price for the products unless you called them and cancelled the account within the 14 days. No where did they present this condition to me in the offer, the confirmation email or and documents sent with the product. This is a total scam and I will be posting my reviews on every website & social media outlet available.
They did not get my authorization for the charge nor did they send me an email to notify me of the charge as they did with the shipping charge.

I am so disappointed in this company. How can a trial offer end up costing me over "$500.00 ? This is ridiculous. I was never made aware of the fact that I would have to pay for the first 2 items that were so over priced! My bank is now involved and I will be waiting to receive the full refund. Anti Fraud Center has also been informed. RCMP next.

Abella Mayfair's ONLY interest is to as many clients out of their money as possible. Please do NOT order their samples for a) their product is of no particular value but b) they will keep on debiting your CC account with hundreds of dollars for merchandise you NEVER ordered nor have ever received. DO complain to the BBB and also to the RCMP.

Abella Mayfair charged for product I don't want and haven't received

I agreed to pay shipping costs only of $5.95 to try abella mayfair product. For all 15 pop up adds offering other deals, I selected no. I received a trial size of 2 products which don't work for me. The wrinkle remover is too dry and causes more wrinkles than it removes and the moisture cream is too heavy and causes acne. I threw them away. However, I just discovered my credit card has been billed $121.25 and $133.37 on february 6 and 8th respectively without my knowledge or authorization. These charges are in american funds. I want the charges to be reversed, and for no further charges for products I do not want.

SCAM Consent to terms of use is buried. Nowhere in notice of shipping or in letter sent with free trial does it say you have signed up for a subscription or that free trial is not a free sample. You are charged full price for the products you thought were "free trial" after 14 days. Negative option transactions need to be reinforced and highlighted. There's no pop-up box when ordering that you have to put a check mark in that you have agreed to terms. Website no longer shows products available for order. I have lost $260 to this SCAM. I cancelled subscription and notified credit card of this issue. Am returning 2nd delivery of my "monthly subscription" to Abella tomorrow. Was promised full refund, but only on the second delivery, not the "free trial." Reliance on semantics is disgraceful. Since when is free trial not the same as free sample? Company is so sleazy.

Do not but these products. Its a well organized scam .The authorities should shut down these predatory marketing rip offs.

Abella Mayfair healthybalm / healthcream / youthfullooknow.com / cosmetics

Approximately Oct 30/2016 I placed a “free trial” credit card order online for the cosmetic product Retinolla/Hydraluxe.com and my card was charged $5.95 and $2.95. I contacted the company to stop the receipt of any further products and agreed to accept the charge of $59.95 processed 17/11/2016. Around Christmas I received product from Abella Mayfair which I did not order, especially after the situation with Hydraluxe. I was busy and didn’t look into it at the time. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY MORE PRODUCTS. I missed the charges from HealthyBalm and HealthCream on 15/01/2017 in the amounts of $5.31 and $6.67. There was also a charge on 15/01/2017 from YouthfulLookNow.com (don’t know who this company is) FOR $52.22. On 05/02/2017 HealthyBalm charged $133.89 and 07/02/2017 HealthCosmet charged $121.49. All these names may be related to Abella Mayfair but they are denying it. Trying to tract done each of these names to get different emails seem to all go to Abella. This means they are either making multiple charges under various names or my credit card number has been given to various companies. I have not placed orders with these companies and they have not supplied me with the actual order. I did get a Canada Post tracking number on some item possibility delivered to our address but Canada Post cannot confirm what company sent this post nor has the company supplied any proof they did. I think this whole thing is a scam and I am fraudulently being charged for items I did not order or receive. Can you help me? I have sent numerous emails but can’t sort out which company(ies) these are.

Abella Mayfair unauthorized credit card charges

Unethical billing for products that are advertised as a free trial...

They just billed me 2 separate payment so over 99.95 USD as diamondbeautytoday.com and another 89.95 USD as stunning beautytoday.com. Originally it was a free trial as Abella Maryfair.com Just spoke with Brenda (obviously not her real name as she had a very strong accent, Her agent ID # is 72188, and they have told me the maximum compensation is 100.00) I have reported them to the credit card company and I am going to post this on every single social media I can get my hands on...

Abella Mayfair free sample and unauthorized charges

Like many I saw the add on facebook and ordered some of the product to try it. I at no time signed up for a monthly subscription. However in looking at my visa statement today I discovered that I had been charged $120.61 and a futher amount of $133.75 in Canadian funds. When I called I was told that I had been enrolled in a monthly plan which I promptly cancelled. I was then told that I would need to send two of the products back to receive a full refund. I have no issue in doing this. Apparently my account will be credited $100.00 American today (skeptical that this will happen) and the rest once they receive the items. Not at all happy with the underhanded manner in which this company operates.

Abella Mayfair wrinkle and aging creams fraud

This company shamelessly preys on the insecurities of potential clients and uses a stealth and misleading sales technique that implies that the customer is receiving a free sample, and paying only for shipping. This 'free sample' can result in them billing your credit card for hundreds of dollars and ultimately forcing you to cancel your credit card because of the deceptive and unscrupulous method of gaining your credit information. The truth is if you read the 'fine print' in the agreement before you pass on your credit card information, you will see that they are actually tricking you into permission to withdraw hundreds of dollars from your credit card. The business plan is deliberate and amounts to nothing more than legalized stealing. Any judge in any jurisdiction would find this reprehensible and unacceptable.
The perpetrators are indiscriminately heartless and ruthless. Read the reviews and don't become victimized. These people have no conscience and no remorse. The more they steal, the better they feel. This wicked company and it's criminal staff deliberately initiate deep suffering and stress to thousands on a global scale and on a regular basis. My question is 'how offended would the principals be if their families were robbed?' Abella Mayfair (True Bell) continually alter product names for billing purposes in an evasive attempt to delay detection and as a consequence fill their bank accounts. They openly make false claims about various products and also complicate the commonly expected process of complaint or resolve. Customer support is in reality, customer ignore or customer abuse, if you can get an answer on their published phone support line. This practice is nothing short of racketeering and fraud.
I encourage all victims to aggressively contact legal council, your banking institution, your politicians and news outlets and fight back. Use social media aggressively to expose these crooks. Don't give up and inform as many people as you possibly can. There is no honour or integrity in the free world for this type of scam. Report it to the police and file as many complaints as you can. Shame on Abella Mayfair. You are morally and ethically bankrupt. You deliberately victimize the most vulnerable members of the global community. Abella Mayfair, you know what you are doing and in the long run, you will pay a dear price. Karma will prevail.

Abella Mayfair deceptive offer

I saw their information of facebook and that 1 of the 'sharks' were investing in your product. They were offering a free trial that I stupidly fell for. No where was it 'clearly' written there was a limited time cancellation policy. I'm sure if I had scrolled through the pages and pages of information they provided I probably would have found it in small print.
Upon checking my credit card statement I found 2 purchases that I did not authorize not did I receive any product other that the 'trial sample. I contacted my credit card company instructing them to decline any further purchases from this company only to find 2 more purchases for the same amounts was charged again and not product received. This is totally an unacceptable practice.

I contacted the company and they have only agreed to refund the 2nd purchases on my card. I would like a full refund and this company taken to task for conducting business in this manner.

Incorrect Information..I got caught up in the Abbla Mayfair add on Facebook for a free trial as I see many others did also, not realizing a free trial is much different than a free sample. Upon checking my M/C this morning and seeing two charges entered for a total of $256.39 Canadian, I immediately did some checking and made a call to the customer service center, to be told I should have read the agreement fully before filling the info out. It reads we have 14 days to return or cancel and that is from the day we entered our information, not 14 days from the time we received the goods and also that we were agreeing to receive product every 30 days and be charged on our credit card. They agreed to give me a $50.00 US refund toward each item and suggest I go to their site and read the agreement in full, which I did, I received emails of Refunded order notification and a cancellation notification showing the amount to be $50.00 US. Upon searching I also found a page the reads.."We have discontinued sales to new customers while we enhance our formula and so on and so on", as you read this in full, the last paragragh reads "You're always backed by our 30 day satisfaction guarantee but we would like to go above and beyond by extending this to a 45 day satisfaction guarantee to try our product and see results". With reading this, I called the customer service back and let them know I was not satisfied with our first conversation and was going to return the slightly used trial/sample product and with that I expected a full refund, she agreed to that, at that time I was quoted a RAN (return authorization number), . I will be sending these goods by registered mail, hoping that all will work out for me. If there are any issue with this I will be going to the BBB and also FB and my local TV station trouble shooter..

I was told it would take 4 working days for my credit to show up, upon checking yesterday, there were 2 $50. credits put on my account. I sent a lengthy letter to the New York, Ont. address and have asked for a full credit, so far I have not mailed the slightly used product, what is the incorrect or wrong address. I read other comments and they said their credit card holder didn't want to have anything to do with this issue, that is why I thought I would try on my own. I am holding back on returning the goods to see if there is any further action taken by the supplier or them contacting me. I do feel with the quick action of the refund I have already received they realize their offer was no done in a proper or legal way. Thanks for the reply, I would like to hear more info from you on this issue.

Abella Mayfair unauthorized credit card charges

I ordered on line this free trial samples sometime in jan of 2017 and paid for shipping only as per the web-site. I've found out today that I have been charge for wrinkle treatment sample $ 120 and for cream sample $133. I did not agreed to any further shipments or charges. It said on the website "free trial sample" pay for shipping only. This is fraudulent activity. I want my complaint to be resolves asap and my funds will be returned. Btw I barely used the products, did not like them at all and would like to return and get my money back.

I just experienced the same problem. BMO was awesome and assisted me in getting at least one month credit back. They refused to issue the first charge and said I agreed to the terms and conditions which was WELL hidden. In fact I only wanted one product and before I knew it, I had two in my request and I could not back out of the website at that point. The credit card companies are having a huge problem with this and the customer service is also out sourced which doesn't help with the issue. AND the products made my skin break out...they are horrible.

Abella Mayfair free sample face creams

I applied on-line to receive two free samples for the cost of 5.38 and 6.73 Canadian. Received the samples and January 9 and 10 billed the above amounts PLUS January 29 and 30 billed to my Visa the ridiculous amounts of 134.94 and 120.83 Foreign Currency Transactions - for these products . I see now there are many complaints for this same scam. Will be going to my bank to enquire about this bill. This fake company should be fined for sure and all on-line customers refunded.
Never again will I order anything offered on-line.

Abella Mayfair unauthorized credit card charges

Like everyone else who has dealt with Abella Mayfair and their call center, I have been scammed ! I did not agree to any subscriptions and was not made aware of any such subscriptions in the follow up phone call from my internet order.

I was scammed for 4 payments as well and this is partly my fault as I just pay bills and don't always peruse them. Phone calls to the call center resulted in $50 USD ! Peanuts.

Lesson learned, beware of scams. Tell everyone you know not to purchase anything from these fraudsters !

Yup. It's a slimy way to do business... I found out when I got my credit card bill as well. They said it was a free 14 day trial and I am sure they changed their platform AFTER I ordered a free sample. Companies like this deserve to go out of business but "beware"...they will just change their names. The billing names appears differently than the product name for EACH product! I'm contacting the BBB and the Canadian advertising regulators...as well as Facebook to lodge a complaint

Abella Mayfair scam advertisement

I ordered the free sample after seeing it online. I tried the product and did not dislike the effect, even tough it leaves a weird tightness feeling on the skin. The next day, I received three emails for products that were shipping home. It is probably my fault that I didn't read all the non existent writing but nothing told me I was subscribing! I immediately called and it was a sketchy long distance phone call with noisy background. I could barely hear the person talking. I had to ship back my items within 14 days and call back with the tracking number. That caust me 15$ plus the trial of 7$! What exactly will they be doing with the samples that we send back? Might as well of let us keep them? I was so dissapointed, I will never buy another trial product online! What a SCAM!
