tickets to thailand cancelled and then rescheduled two times
1. Air India has cancelled my booking twice (BBSR-BKK and return 20th and 28th Oct 2018 respectively). It is very insensitive action has caused inconvenience to me.
2. When I booked the ticket for the first time, I did not receive a mail which is supposed to have all the details. I directly received the cancellation mail. I had to hold call for re-booking of the tickets for an hour and after doing all this, then also the booking was not done.
3. Yesterday I received a mail of reschedule of my return journey, which is illogical and incorrect thus irritating. My 05.45 AM flight on 28 th (BKK-Delhi) has been rescheduled and shifted to 21.05 and the date of connecting flight (Delhi-BBSR) has not been changed as 30 th in the ticket.
4. Is Air India taking responsibility of one night stay at Delhi? Or Am I supposed to spend whole night on airport? Disgusting.
5. I had to cancel my Bhubanswar-Kharagpur train booking because of this. Is Air India going bear the financial loss?
Extremely poor service. If my journey is going to be uncertain till the last minute, how can plan things? Very bad experience.

cancellation of tickets to thailand and then rescheduled for two times
1. The insensitive approach of Air India is putting me into a very difficult situation . My tickets have been cancelled once (from BBSR to Bangkok on 20th October and return on 28 October). There was no phone call - only an insensitive notification which goes to spam mail.
2. Next flights are rescheduled with 2 flight connecting Bhubaneswar to Bangkok and back with connecting flights to Delhi. All the train tickets have to be cancelled and booked again to Bhubaneswar as I am a Research Scholar from IIT Kharagpur and thus I am compelled to travel by Air India.
3. Yesterday, another rescheduled notification for return flight without any prior notification popped up. Instead of getting back from Bangkok in the morning (28th October), as indicated, a midnight flight is given that will reach Bhubaneswar on 29th morning (which is again not indicated) with a sleepless night at Delhi airport.
Again train tickets from Bhubanswar to Kharagpur have to be booked which were booked earlier have to be cancelled again. Please kindly tell me who will pay for such loss?
Extremely poor service. Are you giving any alternatives? How are you making up for this continued uncertainty and harassment when till the end I don't know whether i will be able to fly or the trip is cancelled. In fact, I am still not sure whether any last moment changes or cancellation or further rescheduling of flights will take place. Please do inform first hand so that I get enough time to find other options and not in Air India.

You are acting in a very unprofessional way. You are just forcing your decisions on me. You have cancelled and rescheduled my flight twice without considering the fact that I purchased tickets of flight according to my work schedule. Now that you have changed the flight from 28th to 29th, I shall be reaching my destination on 29th at 13.10 hrs. instead of 07.00 hrs on 28th October losing more than 30 hours. What about my works and meetings that have already been scheduled on 29th of October. What about this loss of valuable time? What are you going to do about it?
I have to face many inconveniences due to you cancelling the flight twice:
1. Loss of time more than 30 hours
2. Loss of work for one day
3. Financial burden since I shall have to stay till night in a foreign country (instead of leaving in early morning) which will incur unnecessary accommodation and food costs. Who will pay for this?
4. Hectic journey. (The flight that you have reassigned is as follows: starting at 21.05 hrs 28th October, reaching Delhi at 00.10 hrs 29th October, spending night unnecessarily at Delhi, then again starting from Delhi at 10.55 hrs 29th October and reaching Bhubaneswar at 13.10 hrs 29th October. So I shall have to stay in Delhi at night and connecting flights are more than 10 hours apart, which means I shall have a very uncomfortable journey which includes staying awake in the sleeping hours of night.)
5. What arrangements have you made regarding staying in Delhi airport at night?
6. My wife will be accompanying me and staying in airport at night is particularly very much inconvenient for her and changed sleeping time affects her health in a negative way.
7. I had purchased train tickets to return from Bhubaneswar to Kharagpur (which is another 324 km journey) well in advance when I purchased air tickets. Now that you are cancelling and rescheduling flights again and again, you are compelling me to cancel and book connecting train tickets repeatedly which is incurring cancellation fees on me again and again not to mention the time I have to sacrifice from my busy schedule cancelling and repurchasing train tickets, and searching for convenient trains and seat availability again and again.
8. Now that you have cancelled and rescheduled flight again just 27 days before the journey commences, the train tickets are no longer available for me to suffer again.
9. I purchased tickets in such a flight so that I shall be returning on Sunday which is a holiday so that I can resume my work on Monday giving me enough time to rest before I start my work after such a long journey. Now that you have reassigned me to another flight which will reach on Monday consuming a whole working day, who will pay for the loss of time and money and the consequences that I shall have to face.
Do you realize now how you randomly assigning flights to us is affecting us by putting us in lot of hardships? Just like that you have cancelled and reassigned random flights to us as if I do not have any schedule to follow, and as if I do not have any value of time, nor have choices and preferences. Do you think I have abundant time and energy to go through these hassles?
Cancelling and reassigning flight again and again is becoming a headache.
My total schedule is disrupted because of you.
This is not acceptable!
In future I shall think five times before flying Air India!
I would like to be compensated for the many inconveniences caused by repeated cancellation and reschedule of the flight.

complaint: damage to suitcase
Dear Air India,
Please find attached images of Bag, Damage_bag, Tag_barcode, Tag id, Boarding_pass.jpg along with this email.
I am Gopinath, student traveled in Air India from Frankfurt airport (FRA) to Bangalore (BLR) on 5th, 6th September 2018
Airline details:
AI120 -Frankfurt to Delhi : 5th September 2018
AI 502 -Delhi to Bangalore : 6th September 2018
I had checked in 2 baggage's.
While collecting my baggage's from conveyor belt at Bangalore airport, I noticed that one suitcase of mine was damaged. One handle end of suitcase was broken, because of which I was unable to carry my suitcase out of Airport. Which is very difficult to pull, lift handle, cannot comfortable carry the bag because of other items being leaking out through the breakage and received bag in an unstable condition
I had reported to Air India staff at Bangalore airport. But unfortunately they didn't take any responsibility to register a complaint, but after several conversations they had given me a email id of Air India "[protected]@airindia.in" and asked me to write an email and report the damage issue to Air India.
I also have a round trip to Frankfurt in 3 weeks, for which I need to use the same suit case, but with this damaged condition I won't be able to use this
Hence I am writing an email to claim my right as a customer for the unfair damage made by Air India to my suitcase, I need a justice for the breakage made.
I Kindly request to consider my complain, would request you to repair my suitcase or pay for the damages caused.
Kindly let me know, if you need any further information
Best regards,
Gopinath
air india — delayed flight from jeddah to bombay for haj passengers mostly aged above 50 years with no compensation no help.
Air India flight no. Al 932 Jeddah to Bombay 20th September 2018 got delayed for 3-4 hours. The Haj Passengers mostly aged above 50 years all are in a bad state without any compensation or food services no place to rest. They are asked to travel via another flight which is Jeddah to Bombay via Hyderabad which will reach Bombay almost at the same time as their delayed flight plus they have limitations on the weight of the luggage to be carried in the via Hyderabad flight. Please take immediate action against this.
staff service
I traveled from Amritsar to Delhi using Vistara(at 15:25 hr). I clarified this with two AI staff (AI check-in & AI office) prior to boarding Vistara. ATQ AI staff did NOT inform me about no show charges ($550.69) that I had to pay later at Delhi airport to board flight to Washington D.C. If same was communicated to me at Amritsar Airport I could have boarded AI flight at 19:00 hr instead of Vistara at 15:25 hr. Please clarify your stand on this issue as I am considering to seek consumer court.
delay, poor service, power bank and rows with customers!
Delhi to Birmingham
Flight no : AI 113
Date : 14th September
I checked in for my flight and while waiting at gate 13 to board my flight I was called to go to gate 15 to go with security to check my bag as my power bank was in my suit case,
The gentleman's name was Sumit who accompanied me and he was no help at all, I took my power bank out of my case and handed it in for inspection but was told I wasn't allowed to take it on the flight at all even tho I flew over with it from Birmingham to Delhi, I am disgusted and disappointed with how I was treated and that my extensive power bank costing £35 was thrown away for no other reason other than I wasn't allowed to take it, how dare they, it was inspected there and then in front of my eyes but still they refused me to take it back home with me!
I bought the thing in England!
Disgusting!
Plus my flight was delayed by 2 hours and 30mintues due to technical difficulties and the communication was a farce, worst I've ever experienced!
Then passengers were having altercations with staff over seats and heated arguments took place while on the plane resulting in more delay and even security being called onto the plane!
I am disgusted at all of this and how this experience has ruined my trip to India and how I've lost out having my expensive power bank thrown away even when I said I'd happily pay to have it flown/sent to my home address I was told this wasn't allowed!
Disgusted and I hope you'll read this and offer me some compensation!
cancellation of flight no. ai9901
Flight (No.AI 9901), scheduled to depart at 11.00am from DEL to CCU, was cancelled. I came to know after entering into the AIG airport AirIndia checkin counter at 10.05am. Then I got message from AI at 10.08am and got called from AI at 10.20am. It is very unfortunate that I was informed at the 11th Hour. I approached to AI counter for alternative flight since I have connecting train on which I had a booked ticket. Therefore I claim a compensation of Rs 1000/- for the following:
1. Lunch which I had at the airport inside, and
2. For further booking of ticket for train and other journey

non intimation of gate change.
I suppose to board AI 431 on 12.9.18. I got my boarding pass and reached gate no 27 at about 11.25 am . as showing on boarding pass. I was sitting at gate no 27 A. The gate no. Was changed but I did not get any information. I did not hear any change of gate. However no one even came to check whether any passenger is waiting there or not. I hear only announcement about Hyderabad at about12.15 gate staff informed that flight has takeoffs.
The flight takeoff 5 min before time and the staff did not check the where about of the passenger who has already checked in . It appears that someone have traveled on my seat. I request for thorough enquiry.

service by jalandhar office on call
Dear Officer,
I am very disappointed by the on call service given by your Jalandhar office.
They don't even have information for flights extension always force their client to come to office. If they are having telephone for information why would clients have to come to office for little information.
I am really feeling harassed by the service on call and the girl who pick up calls by Kuldeep Kaur.
I am requesting please have some polite person in your customer offices, so they can call happily.

request against web ref no - aibe43267497
Kind att. date:-18/08/2018
The General Manager,
ecommerce divison
Air India.
Sir, I would like to bring into your notice a very unfortunate incident that had happened with me and my colleagues during my return journey from Lucknow to New Delhi on the 17 august 2018. I am a frequent flier with Air India and I always book my flight from the Air India portal directly and not from any other third party portal.
On the 16 evening I had booked three tickets with a Web Reference: AIBE43267497 for the next day's flight and selected my choice of seats as well(pls check the web check in--- as my experience theweb check in opens only before 48 hrs so its really a shocking incident) for flight AI432 scheduled to depart at 14:05.
I reached the airport well in advance( i can provide details of my UBER booking from gomti nagar to AIRPORT on 17th at 12.25pm) and had no problems with the CISF security as they let me inside the Airport terminal but when I approached the counter I was told that the booking Date is for 17th Sep and not 17th Aug the day I booked the flight for.
Then I approached the Air India counter where I met Mr.Rajnish Mishra (senior manager) on duty who was very helpful but could not do anything to correct the month mismatch. However he told me that it was a regular problem on that sector and he was aware as it has happened with others also in the past. I had never faced THIS type of situation as i always book my tickets from my mobile phone.
I humbly request you to look into the problem and waive off the date change Fees which the airline charge as they are on the higher side. This will enable me to pick another date as I frequently fly Air India as I had done on a previous occasion on the same sector with a Web Reference: AIBE42760419 without any problems on the 5th Aug 2018.
This technical glitch has already cost me a big amount as I had to buy fresh tickets on high premium from another Airline.
I hope that I will be given a fair chance to modify my ticket details without a penalty as it was not my fault. I further hope that I will not be disappointed and my faith in Air India will continue for the many journeys I am yet to fly with Air India.
Regards
account login and password does not work.
Cannot login with good ID and Password. Change password option sends and OTP which does not work. Error advises to call call-center and reps have no clue what the problem is. Different reps give different answers. Reps try to send temporary password which are never received. Complaint system does not work, a form response is sent, and the issues are never resolved. The customer service is extremely poor quality. The supervisors do not seem to be capable of doing their job properly. It is a sad situation.
service

baggage not delivered
I was informed just before boarding flight AI 995 from Delhi to Dubai that my check in luggage was not on the flight. When I asked why they didn't know and said I could do to identify it but if I missed my flight they wouldn't put me on another flight. I was waiting at the airport for 2 hours and they didn't inform me then when I had the time to identify it. I still haven't received my luggage and have not heard back from the airline. I had cooked food items that have definitely spoilt now along with my clothes and other necessities. Dubai airport have reached out to Air India and still haven't heard back. Worst service ever and the staff are just not helpful.
I have not received full refund of cancelled flight.
I have booked e ticket [protected] flight tickets on 30/07/2018 for 15/08/2018 to and fro Kochi to Mumbai in flight AI682 and same day return Mumabi to Kochi in flight AI681. But on 15th august 2018 at 7 AM, Kochi airport has been closed to flood in the Kochi. That day itself i have email to eCommerce dept but no response I got after that many time i have taken follow by mail and calls to concern department. on 30/08/2018 they have refunded money partial amount i.e.4044 instead of 6844. Then i called same day to e commerce dept. they told in 2-3 working days you will get refund today is 6th sept, 2018. I haven't received the balance refund i.e. 2830/-. Can you help out in this matter otherwise i should approach to higher authority. Enough is enough.
damage to baggage
I travelled from Birmingham to Kolkata on Air India via Delhi on 24-25th Aug via AI114 and AI 020. Upon collecting my bag at Kolkata airport I found my bag was badly damaged. One end of the top cover had completely come off and it bore ugly drag marks on the top. I have complained to Air india through their website but have received no reply, apology, forget about compensation.
