I'm facing the worst (yes it is worst) customer care service from airtel since the last 2 months (the day I converted my number to post paid).
Firstly, I'm getting 100's of messages in a day (Just imagine 100!) from an airtel number 543210.
The SMS service is about cricket alerts.
I've been contacting customer care since then, initially they were not sure why is this service activated. They gave me the reason I subscribed for it. When I said no, I've never subscribed for this service, they told me the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs, but its not.
I called up customer care innumerable number of times & every time I got exactly the same response that "the service will be discontinued in 24 hrs". Its more than 2 months now, they cant stop sending spam to me.
Imagine, they barr your outgoing calls the moment it exceeds its limit. But, dont know why they are so much reluctant to block this spam.
The worst part is the service provider itself is sending spam. What more to expect.
The current scenario, whenever I'm dialing airtel 121 the only option that I have (no matter what option I choose) is to send a SMS to 121.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

i got a sms from 5432105, informing me that
" Congrats! you have been subscribed to auto tips on mobile @ Rs 10 for 10 days of service. To deactivate 999*101#Jobs Anywhere, Anytime for everybody, call [protected] now!"
I was just wondering, I never subscribed to it, How Airtel subscribed my number to this service without my knowledge. More surprised since I never expected such unethical business practice from Airtel. I called the helpdesk, and they informed me to call 1909 and register for do not disturb. I did the same with confirmation number I1019262157. Hope Airtel stops deducting money from customers without getting their explicit consent. or atleast they call and get user confirmation before deducting the money.
They reverted back the money for now though after i called the complaint desk 198.
Mass hacking of customer credit balance consistently by Airtel openly
1. Auto deduction when AIRTEL service reply informing the message, As I know there should not be any charge against the incoming message. But whereas the company is debiting for that also.
2. Simultaneously credit displaying is also cutting the credit balance.
3. It is number of time I complaint and resolve the issue I remove the SIM from the mobile ([protected]). The service of Airtel persists in another mobile([protected]) but again the same drama has been started automatically service reply cutting. I do not know how many people of India are suffering the like me and being cheated by so called AIRTEL.
4. Thus Airtel malpractice with the mobile service and continuing the open corruption and exploitation with the innocent citizen of India.
5. Sure our government will keep dump because recently TRAI has done the Crores of Rupees unlawful corruption. So still there is existing biggest loop whole to exploit the common people only. Hence, I invite to awake up the conscious and educative citizen to raise hand with me the stop it. We want the liberal justice for the illegal exploitation of AIRTEL.
I live in a joint family and we have near about 13 mobile phones at home out of which 8 are Airtel numbers ([protected], [protected], [protected]... list continues). I am facing No Signals Problem at my home from last 9 months and am regularly complaining Airtel thru Emails, Customer Support, Telephone Calls to Nodal Officer and I have proofs for all my complaints. We pay near about 6-8 thousand of Bill every month for this ridiculous service. The billing people follow-up on complaints regularly and we pay the amount with the fear of our connection getting barred. We are into business and have to take calls from customers for which we are carrying 2 mobile phones (the other one is Non-Airtel). Every other mobile service works perfectly except Airtel. I got fed-up with the response from Airtel.
Now, I feel consumer court of law is the only way to get justice. Please let me know the process to lodge compaint against Airtel.
Airtel Nodal Officers are of no use, they just give false commitments and nothing will be taken care.

I am recieving mostly the same SMS each week of the month and this sender SP28301@ deducting me SAR 5.00 for each SMS.

Automatic downloading of A.R.RAHMAN TUNE on customers cellphones without giving any option to the customer whether heshe would like to download it or not is a criminal offence not expected from a corporate like BHARATI AIRTEL. After my repeated complaints and threat to drag the company to consumer court, SMS were sent next day. But it all proved only window dressing for the customers to be cheated immediately on expiry of free period because customers will not be informed about the charges which will be directly deducted in case of pre-paid services. BHARATI AIR-TEL is inviting big trouble for itself by resorting to such a mean ways of making money. I have been trying to deactivate this tune but all invain. I tried *106# and unsub SMS 1000 times but the tune is still not de-activated. Bharati Air-tel cannot impose certain tune on its customers without customers permission. The management should wake-up to such a cheap marketing gimmics which will bring only bad name to the company.

I have been promised my security refund since almost a year now and there is no sign of progress in it. I activated my international roaming in october 2017 where i paid a secuity of rs 6000 and now its almost been 9 months i am asking for a refund and all your customer care people know is to file a complaint and give a request no. with no form of feedback.
I have made numerous calls and got ample of request nos.
I am finally filing a case with consumer court because that is the last option, i am tired of receiving fake dates of getting my security check back.

I am coustomer of airtel since 2017. I have two connection on my name and I am the only person who pay all my airtel bills.in end of 2017 airtel change the ownership of my cellular number. They are telling that this is the company paid account since 2017. If I want to make any change in my account like roaming, scheme transfer or any thing they want a application from the company own it. Actually I am the owner of that number and I have proof for it. I want it in my name how can I get it in my name..

Can not congifure GPRS setting. Had completed all formalities for the same. Ref no:[protected]. Constant sms to 543210 and 52567 showed no good luck.

iam having a prepaid connection and suddenly my outgoing is bard from services on verification they are asking me the documents again which i have submitted during my conection, i feel harrased because of this and neither they have notified me as i was out of station i suffered a lot mentaly and moneywise which cannot be explained.if there is any govt notification imay be helped and send a copy of the notice.your kind action will be highly obliged.please guide me.nareshjain_bpt@yahoo.co.in [protected]

I obtain broadband connection on my landline no.[protected] and [protected] on 30.10.2017 under free gift scheme of rs.2500/- The installed phone, have sent bill on address provided.But for sending gift they adopted a long proceesure which a common man cannot fulfil and his gift is lost .Why they have not send the gift on bills address?Arent they foolong people?
Not yet...Your various department guys are talking and only talking only...You understand my problem that till now more than 30 times I've to repeat the same story to your 60+ guys from different dept..Everyone is committing something and every other is denying others...The most disappointing thing is that every time we discuss then your guy says that he has noted down the detail and then comes the next guy and same story get repeated...Can you ask your guys why this customer who has used your connection cribbing so much or why till now all his complaint not resolved...Without letting me know request number get closed and then again one new request/complaint number comes in picture...
Before making decision have time to go thru mails and recording which you claim to record...and see my frustrated tone in that...repeating same thing to many source many time is real demoralizing..

I m using airtel internet, but this is the story of everytime that after 15 days of activation of package, airtel internet speed has been reduce n not even a person can do work google so what to say about social networking site. and another story of their faking is wen I sleep at night yestrday there is a balance of rs.31 in my a/c bt in morning it was just 3 rs. wen i asked to airtel costomer care, they said that you(I) have been download java cricket game. my question is that a person using net pack of 2GB, why he/she download a game using his/her money bcoz of presence of so many sites providing evrything free, second thing i didnt use any link of games download so how it could download, third thing wenever a person using net in mobile, at the time of downloading set has been gone to pause mode at which time a person cant do any thing on mobile but this is what which is not happen with me, fourthly i m using a mobile without java (micromax Q2 does not support java applications), so why i download a java game.

for change of bill plan in Nov-2017 to reduce my bills from an average of 2300/- to further down, but by end of december when i received my bill i was shocked to see my bill has gone up to 3600/-, i expressed my shock to the cust service dept by calling 121 from my mobile and they confirmed that the complaint will be viewed with care and in 48 hours it would be resolved, i too get a call from Airtel not for service and to collect the bill sent by them through various agencies.The same Airtel has a facility of topping with 60/- for 20000 sms, but in a peculier manner they charged me 1300/- for using SMS

I totally agre what the person has written. My family friends & everybody is on "airtel" (So much so many friends jokingly tell me "arre yaar, tu kya airtel ka maalik hai ki phir unka agent. " but I knew it as a joke, I didn't mind it at all cause I was so happy with ur services.
I remember there was a time last year ([protected]) when by mistake you guys deducted rs:40 / - from this number that i've just mentioned, however when I complained the next day, the entire amount was refunded back to my account.
Now, sir, if you would have been in my place you would have also advertised for those people who have always been honest and helpful towards their customers.
My number ([protected]) got disconnected, after using it for nearly 9 years, just be cause I could not provide any id & address proof at that very moment as I had lsot all my documents on my way back from chennai, yet I requested them to activate it in my father's or mother's name, but no result.
The reason is very simple, I am not "a. Raja" neither am I well connected.
That is the sad part of the story in our country today.
If you rob, then only rob when u can rob "crores" (So that it can be shared equally amongst all the big brothers and sisters) & yet be comfortable. This is the truth... What has happened to anybody with connections, nothing what so ever, just some hog wash to show us, the "aam aadmi" the law is the same for everyone. You know it & so do i. I can never get through to a customer care executive, & by chance if by god's grace I do get through then the ivr says press 1 & I will be charged 0.50 paise for 3 minutes... I don't mind... I press 1 & after waiting for a long time some one with great disgust talks to me as though they are doing me some real big goddamned favour (without realising that it's these very same customers for whom they have that _ _ _ _ _ _ _ job of their's.
I ultimately had to take a connection in my father's name. I took it you see cause we have to behave like gentlemen, law abiding citizen, we should follow strict rules, so what even if it is only for us and not for the one's who make those rules... Ha!... Ha!... Ha!... . It's bloody pathetic.
I'm so pissed off with "airtel", that I can't even explain my self.
I was told that if I re charge with rs:53 / - then I will get smses worth rs:250 (Local/std & isd). I was using quite a few of them each month as I found it really good cause my girl friend lives in russia.
After doing it for 3 or 4 months, quite a number of times, I got a message one fine day, i'll give you the day and the timne as well cause I have kept it safe with me, as I had a doubt that I would need this as a proof to fight for my rights.
I recieved the sms at 13:31 ist dated 01st february' 2017, so I immidiately recharged but I didnt get it
When I called the customer care people they said I needed to dial *123#2# or some rubbish. When I told them repeatedly that this is not the way I used to get it, I used to get it by just dialing *123# and my sms msg used to pop up.
When I wanted to speak to a senior I was told it has been stopped the scheme is not there any longer.
When I told them then why have u sent me a msg clearly stating:
"dear customer, your rs:53 sms pack validity is getting oner tommorrow. Recharge with rs:53 and get rs:250 worth local/nat/intl. Sms valid for 30 days. "
Responce was it takes time and all that rubbish.
I didn't want tpo argue so I just shut up after that cause after that whenever I tried to get in touch the answer would be "pls call 198, toll free & what not".
The sad part is this rs:53 sms pack scheme is still there and the shop keepers all of them, after checking say for some reason it's not coming into my account but the scheme is very much there.
Respected sir, I just wanted to inform you that i'll go to the end of this world to be "compensated" for this torture that I had to go through just because I was a loyal customer of your esteemed company... , right?
Things that I don't want, they say I asked for it, like that hello tune or something, when I call them and tell them I didn't ask them they say I have dasked for it. Rs;15 is not a very big amount in a month, but being forced to use something that I never asked for & not getting something that I should actually get.
The problem in our country today is that people are not fools any more... We know what we need to do and how to get compensated for somethings that we never needed and wanted.
I know my words are sounding very harsh... But yes that is a fact, as I said earlier this rubber band has been stretched too far, to the point of no return and now I don't care about anything. I don't care about work, about my family... Now all I know is that any how i'll be compensated by your company even if it means I have to fight you in court for the next 25 years or eve3n mpore & yes sir / madam i'm dead serious as I just cant take this anymore.

I was not able to connect with the customer care executive to clarify my doubts, if I ask from other mobile they are saying to sent myairtel to 121 but no solution to my number. Ther is no immediate action to solve customer problem from their side. Above all their customer care service is too worst compared to other networks.
AIRTEL is not responding to their new customers
Thanks to the complaint board..3 days ago I made the comment and the issue got resolved in 24hrs..they have refunded the amount wrongly charged..I am thanful to the Airtel Customer Care as well for looking at my query..in addidtion to it there is a humble request to Airtel as well atht please check the reason why I get such fake messages as I have been troubled by this issue fro the last couple of months. Last but not the least thanks for the cooperation for refunding the amount wrongly charged.
I am registerd to DND service to fully blocked. The registration no is S1038185136 and it got activated and all promo calls and messages were stopped for few days. I have again started getting the promo calls and messages from airtel of which i'm fed up.
The 121 customer helpline is just useless. I am being told that the call is been transferred to the CC executive and immediately disconnected.
It seems like airtel has gained lot of customers and failing to maintain the quality of service they provided before.
Airtel Fraud Billing.
I went to USA for business purpose for the duration of 1 Week. From USA through Dial91 i made calls to india. I made 21 calls in total. But im suprised to see airtel bill. they made charges for 34 calls each call costs 55 Rs. i talked to customer care so many times but the result, as everyone knows waste of time. Then i got the call histroy from Dial 91 with all the evidence i send it to appelate team for the justification. But the team replies with single line our billing is correct. I talked to the appelate representative subramni for about 20 min. I explanied my situation with complete evidence so many time. he also stand my the word " i understand your situation but our billing is correct" I fed up with is issue for the last 2 weeks.
Now i have to pay for all 34 calls whether i made it or not doesn't matter. since it is reflected in the bill i have to pay the bill.

sir i gave a feedback 6 days before in this board and so a person from mobile no +[protected] called me and he said that he will take necessary steps to clear my problem but till today(2 days) they did not take any steps to solve my problem if i contact that number and ask they too repeating the same statement. i am very disturbed mentally .so i tried to change my network using portability option to AIRCEL network and gave my proof and filled statement regarding my network change . AIRTEL is not allowing to do that too . a message from aircel stating that (Dear customer, YOur request of mobile number portability is reject by Bharti Airtel (GSM)due to there are subsisting contractualobligation from the subscriber agreement ). WHAT SHALL I DO. I AM VERY ASHAMED TO BE THEIR CUSTOMER.plz give me the necessary idea to chane my network to AIRCEL. i dont like to be a airtel customer.i dont like to accept any type of compramise from airtel.
