Back in September 2023 I switched banks and since then my account has been messed up. Allstate did an auto draft for my auto and homeowners policies in September, since I had switched banks the transaction came back insufficient funds. On the same day I called my agent and made a payment over the phone with my new bank account. The transaction went through just fine. But since then the billing department says I didn't make the payment. I sent my agent a copy of my bank statement which shows I did make the payment for both policies. Now a letter I received says Allstate is going to cancel my policies due to the payment not being made. My agent called me and wanted me to make another payment this month. I asked if all Allstate customers have to make 2 payments per month. I haven't missed a payment and paid my premium before the due date and Allstate is going to cancel my policies. This is unfair and they are trying to take advantage of me. It's impossible to talk to the billing department or anyone at the corporate level hence this complaint.
