I went into American Signature in Brandon during their Veterans Day sale. My wife and I were going to purchase some living room furniture for our new home. When I asked the salesman what kind of military discount they had, the salesman told me that they had no military discounts because the company didn't believe that we should be in Iraq or Afghanistan. As a veteran, I was in total shock and disbelief that a company called AMERICAN signature would abandon the military and service members as they did. I highly recommend anyone that is a veteran/active or supports our military to stay away from American Signature.

I am taken aback by your experience! As a small business owner, I make it a point to ensure that active servicemembers and veterans get a discount. I would beseech American Signature to take another look at their policies.
I think your choice to joining the military was a personal choice just like mine to become a nurse and because that was your choice you shouldn't necessarily be rewarded for your life choices and I TOTALLY agree with American Signature, not to give a military discount I work just as hard as you do and I don't go every where expecting a discount and feeling like I am owed a discount...
The nurses I have come across my whole life have been lazy and fat! They are always complaining about how hard their job is. You picked this job, so live with it and stop complaining! By the way, I TOTALLY AGREE that you guys are overpaid!
@Ms. Young...You work just as hard as a military memeber. Try being away from your family for 1 year at a time, not knowing when or if you are coming back. Yes your job is tough, but not comparable. I believe that miltary members should be rewarded for giving their lives for our freedom.
