We purchased a 65-inch t.v from Walmart, online, and added on their additional service options of having it installed for another $79. We also purchased additional insurance and bracket, delivery was included with this purchase.

We had TWO handymen call us and they not only DID not know it was a 65 inch t.v but they were to be paid 35 bucks only to perform the task. We became the sounding board for the contractors! I contacted Angies list to inform them and they finally tell me that oh, no one knew that it was a 65 inch t.v. which is a lie. I called them same day to tell them it was and that they needed to send two people not one and the price they contracted them for to do it is not right. We paid accordingly.

I believe you sold my information because I have received unsolicited calls from various people. I only used my home phone number when signing up for Angi, so I am confident the calls result from my information being sold. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with your service and will never use it again. It is unacceptable that my personal information was shared without my consent. Additionally, all the calls I have received have been from foreign individuals, which is concerning. Very unamerican.

Michael installed engineered floors in my condo last June and laminate flooring in the kitchen. In November we hired him to seal my baloney and in doing so left the paint remover can in the middle of the engineered floor and burned six planks. He acknowledged responsibility for leaving the can and burning the wood on six planks. On numerous occasions he has made appointments with me to solve this problem but he has now gone silent and does not answer his phone. I would like to have someone else fix my floor and Michael to reimburse me for the time and trouble that he has caused. I note that he has several reviews by Angi and cannot explain his treatment.

I prepaid an estimated price of $250.07 for cleaning services. The actual cost turned out to be $465.75 which the contractor used. My Amex account was credited $250.07 and charged $465.75. The $250.07 charge reappeared on the account.

The prepaid amounts are designated as Angi accounts. The contractor account is listed as Carlos Figueroa. So, I have been charged the full amount of $465.75 plus the estimated charge of $250.07.

Your company has repeatedly charging me for leads that have no response. Also addresses that don't exist connected to landlines in Texas! Still no credit. There have been customers that admit they requested the wrong task and spoke to Angi leads admitting their mistake and I was still charged the fee. I have been with this lead source since 2010 when they were service magic. It used to be a good source of leads at a reasonable cost. When they changed companies from home advisor to angi leads they held my good reviews hostage and made me pay $300 for the new yearly subscription on top of a lead fee at least $50 per, when it used to be around $15. Such a scam. I hope the civil lawsuit takes them down.

Too much gaps in between door wa,ys and putting in flooring short on baseboards cut too much on bottom of framing of doors to put flooring down banged up door framing gap with kitchen tile and hallway baseboard try to cut piece to fix gap piece cut up looks awful as the hallway 1 piece floor board raised u can feel it tried to fix it had to replace floor strip left sticker on it and another floor strip did not clean up onside or out I did unprofessional, now I need to find someone to fix this more money.

I hired sunnydays handyman service to repair the sub floor in my dining room and kitchen, install drywall in the kitchen, install upper and lower cabinets, and install countertops. The subfloor came out great as did the the dry wall installation. As to the cabinets and countertops I have the problem. The upper cabinets my wife and I had to hold the cabinets up while he secured them to the wall.(I am 71 and my wife is 65) I have researched the countertop installation and found that a sheet of plywood should be installed between the cabinet top and the countertop which he did not do. I now am having to pay $600 to correct that problem.duke the handyman also redid the plumbing under the kitchen sink and we notice a drip after the job was completed. I called Duke and said he would come back out and repair it. Well its been 5 weeks now and have not seen him. Guess I will call a plumber to fix that also. Would not recommend this company to anyone for kitchen remodeling.

Someone was supposed to be here at 9:00 to clean the house and one bathroom for 3 hours at a cost of $126. No one showed up. My husband has cancer and is in heart failure and I don't have tine to do the cleaning by myself (I am 86 and he is 93). I'm supposed to have someone here on Wednesday, Nov.22, but I'm not taking the chance of another no-show. Cancel that appointment and don't charge me for either one.

Dennis Washington of Washington Boyz is a fraudulent company. I found this company on Angi's list. This company scammed me out of 100k. He wanted all the money up front and did not do any work until almost 12 months. When he finally did a little work, he asked for more money. After he got 100k from me, he quit the job. He lift in the middle of the night. We are forced to sue him.

The worst part is that on Angi's list it says he's licensed. This in not correct. Dennis Washington has never had a license in the state of Maryland. He is a criminal and is being charge for 4 criminal accounts and 1 civil.

The person came out September 21, 2023. at my house address 2593 Brittia Lane Winterville NC. The person did not complete the Job of putting the blind up. I have one more blind to install. I am unable to contact this person. Poor job. Please have someone to come out and finish the job. Please have someone to come out and finish the Job. I paid Angi 500.00 for what.

I used the Angi website to see what contractors would be recommended for my install sauna kit project. However, all the contractors recommended were for custom saunas. I did not proceed with the Angi process. However, Angi released my contact info to these contractors, calling me about my project. I do not appreciate all these random calls for an inaccurate job description modified by Angi. When I tried to get my project info pulled from Angi, I was put on hold, and then, after 30 minutes, I decided to be put into their call-back system. I want my project taken out of their system. It has been an hour with no return call for Angi, and there is no chat or email available to contact Angi. I will never query Angi again.

Weeks ahead of time, I scheduled for a cleaner to clean our home on a specific date. I received a confirmation at the time of booking, as well as a reminder the day before. I was told the company would be there at 12:20. At 11:50 the day of the service, I received a text from Angi saying they could not find anyone do the service and nobody would be coming! I had taken the entire day off of work. Why would they send me a confirmation the day before when they had not even found anyone to do the job?! I will never use Angi. I wasted an entire day off of work.

Had the roof finished, guy was INSISTENT I write a review the day he came out. I wrote a nice review that very day. Discovered they knocked the exhaust pipe to my water heater sideways. I called...guy came out...said the top was off and saw it was crooked...course it was my fault. Showed him where they butted the shingle but didn't overlap. Tried to tell me they don't overlap...really? Isn't that what roofing shingles is all about? I called...she said the guy said it wasn't crooked. I took a picture that very same day. IT IS CROOKED.She said she would call me back after she talked to him. That was Sept. 13...It is Sept. 27 I haven't heard a word from her. Did he leave town, die, get fired? Who knows? I would not use Avalon Roofing and Exteriors even for a dog house. I am going to be 80 years old and have metastatic bone cancer...I really don't have the stamina to deal with them anymore. The pipe will stay crooked and it will constantly remind me what a shoddy company this is.

I was searching online for a service. I came across a website about what I was looking for. They offered a free estimate. I knew they didn’t know who I was, so I clicked on the service. Surprisingly my name and phone number popped up. Out of the blue, they called me to verify my number for potential pros. Next, my phone starts ringing with these pros looking for business. The kicker is every pro Angi calls they change them $20 just for the lead. It turned out to be Angi, old Angi’s List. The original search didn’t say anything about Angi, that’s why I tried it. I never completed the form and never expected someone would call me. After finding out I blocked all those numbers and tried to call Angi. I tried their corporate offices too, but the same thing, just a busy signal. I could never get through. That’s why I’m writing this. Angi stop your crappy, low-down scams.
