Was prompted to update this morning. Can't update. Apparently Apple is sabotaging this App. They must be losing out to Duckduckgo. Those Communists are such sore losers. Please let me know how else i can update Duckduckgo? Or there is actually no update and it is only that Apple is trying to force consumers to use Google...? Many of us flatly refuse to use Google!

Apple iphone 6s

I visited the Apple Store with 2 iPhone 6s. I spent 2 hours at the store and maybe that wouldn't have been so bad if I would have actually been helped! I had my daughter's iPhone 6s looked first because the screen suddenly went blank and it would not charge or do anything. They had no explanation as to what the problem might be.

The second phone was my iPhone 6s. My battery showed it was charged to 100% but as soon as I disconnect it from it's power source, the phone would turn off. The technician said it wasn't the battery because it was charging so it must be something else. She offered to sell me another iPhone 6s for $300. I couldn't afford that. So, a few days later I decided to take my phone to a local iPhone repair store. And, guess what? IT WAS A FAUTLY BATTERY!. The battery in my iPhone was swelling, you could actually see it on the side of my phone how the screen was raised because of the battery swelling! I was told that it was a good thing that I brought the phone in because it could have caught fire or exploded! The repair store replaced the battery in my phone and now it works perfectly!

I'm so annoyed that I WASTED my time at the International Mall Apple Store! I will NEVER go to this store again nor will I refer anyone!

Apple macbook pro

I have 2 MacBook Pros, 2011 + 2010, that both have the same issue, dead logic boards.
I have taken them both there numerous times.

Since they have a completely ridiculous vintage label and make believe that they don't have parts after 5 years, which makes no sense that it's that precise, there is no hope.

A friend who is an Apple devotee looked at it, told me that my logic board was recalled and showed me the notice. the notice has been pulled down by Apple but he as able to search closed pages. Three years ago, before it was vintage but after it was on recall, the Apple store told me I had a bad logic board and gave it back to me.

I went to ask about it last month at the Apple store. They told me what you would expect them to and they had no control over this corporate policy. They want to have an elite product, at an elite price, they have to offer elite service. They know how to contact every single Mac owner who this affects. They didn't.

I asked if any of them if there were any computers left that had a USB port and they said one. It was 3 years old and yet somehow still on the floor. It had a list price of $1999. I asked what the price was since it was 3 years old and 60% into vintage where it is then ridiculously vulnerable and they said still $1999 but it might be able to be gotten at 15% off and go as refurbished.

I told them that I would give them 60% of that fake price right now for that computer and extend an extra year of AppleCare. They were friendly and polite but didn't discuss, inquire, mention or pass this on.

So now I have two very expensive, well-maintained computers that aren't worth a *%&^. Shame on you APPLE, you had it in your presence, knew what the issue was, knew it was your fault AND DID NOTHING.

BTW, I have been asked to review them each visit and have asked them to help me but . . . As I asked them, Am I supposed to feel that Apple cares about me at all?

Apple iphone x

Good day, In April we did an upgrade with our contracts going from Samsung to IPhone X. Regret that to this day! A day later of getting my new phone I had to take it in store as the phone had a set passcode on it which I did not install and I had to go in store to Vodacom East Rand Mall to technical for them to unblock and reset my phone. About 3 weeks ago my phone had to go in again and there was something faulty with the charging unit. I had put phone charging overnight and to find it flat the next morning. The phone was sent it and I was told there was some sort of a plastic in the charging unit. This past week my incoming calls have been dropped and my notifications of messages are not always coming through and messages only when I reach wifi sports.. For a R25 000.00 phone I have this disgusting and for a first time IPhone user. I had only gone iPhone because of my daughter being partially sighted and was told IPhone is best for her is sense of assebility function for low vision. My husband, daughter and I all upgraded to IPhone X and mine is the only one with issues? I would rather go back to Samsung! Please could somebody assist!

Apple apple iphone 5s

My Apple iPhone 5S which I bought on 29 July 2016, needs a new battery.

This morning (28 May 2018) I was told by my local iStore (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) that they do no longer supply nor fit batteries for the iPhone 5S.

I find it totally unacceptable that, according to Apple, I must throw away a perfectly good 22-month-old phone because Apple no longer services this product.

Doesn't say much about Apple's support for their products, does it?

Apple iphone 6s

I charge my phone over night the phone was fully charged an 3 hours later it was dead. I drove 3/4 hour to Owen Sound to the Rogers store they told me the battery was bad so I drove to the other side of the city to the computer shop and they told me you had to change battery by appiontment so I had to go back to the Rogers store and get a new phone and the phone is only 18 months old so it cost me $275.00. I drop the phone off on a friday and they told me it would be ready Monday afternoon so I went up to Owen Sound on Tuesday and it was not fixed so they quickly checked it out and they told me it was not the battery and it was the charging system and it will cost me around $400.00 dollars. I am a mechanic when a battery goes on a car or truck it will burn the alterator out on the charging system. I think the battery went bad when it went dead so quick and burnt the charging system out. I will like it fixed I am not happy and I will tell other people about this.

APPLE IPHONE 6S PLUS

I brought my phone to the Farmington, CT Apple store for only camera issues. The tech diagnose my phone and I was told my battery and camera stabilizer needed to be fixed. I was ok with paying for that service. Returned to the Apple Store and was told that the new stabilizer didn't pass the test. Note that I was able to use the camera but not up to apple standards. The battery they said was fine THEY said. The tech suggested I buy another phone for $300+ because they were unable to fix the phone... I said no and left the store. Couple hours later no audio/cant take calls unless phone on speaker. Today, I can't see/use camera/FaceTime or have audio...I didn't go to Apple with these issues or told that I have or would encounter these issues... This is putting me in a ugly situation that Apple created by messing with my phone... This shouldn't happen to anyone!

Apple apple care & imac

I had felt that Apple was the greatest since the mid-1980's. In Oct. 2015 I bought the newest, latest iMac 27" 5K Retina display, along with 10 key keyboard, mouse, time capsule, the DVD/CD player and the Apple Care warranty. This was my third Mac computer (I absolutely loved them and my old PowerMac G5 was still running when I bought this one). I started having problems with this computer before a year was even up. All this time I have been trying to get the help I paid for from Apple.
At this point, there isn't one aspect of this computer or the accessories that works right. My computer is barely running.
Apple Care has told me to do do things that caused more problems which haven't been fixed.
They have hung up on me.
They have told me they'd have to call me back and never did.
They have told me I'd have to call them the next day and gave me a phony phone number.
The best is, that I have to have cable broadband in able for the computer to start up, which it doesn't even do right. That I can only use it on cable broadband and that I don't need a power source to use the computer.
So Apple Care doesn't even know the difference between an iMac and a laptop. Nor do they seem to know the difference between being able to do things offline and online.
The fact, I don't have cable broadband is just an excuse to not honor my warranty. Other people come here and connect to the internet, using every kind of device you can connect to the internet with and don't have any problems.
Different general computer tech people have told me this computer has multiple serious problems. It probably needs to be replaced.
As a last resort, I even snail mailed a letter to Tim Cook and heard nothing.
Now my research shows me, that Apple will NOT honor the warranty on ANY of their products and ALL of their newer products are soon defection. Furthermore, the situation seems to be getting worse.
The consensus among the tech community is that when Steve Jobs died, so did Apple.

Apple poor service

Absolutely unacceptable customer support, expensive devices both products and its repair. Everything is overpriced.
All they want is your money and nothing more.
Providing a good service or your money? No, it's not about their company. One day people will stop buying your devices the way they do it now. I wish they cared about their loyal customers.

Apple just wasting your time

Customer service is awful. My problem is that smart cover scratched my ipad. I called customer service and was said that there'll be no help because this was my fault. But I'm it wasn't, it's just hard to imagine how it can actually happen. I decided to prove they were wrong and just left my ipad on a table and hadn't touched it for a week, and a week later I found new scratches.
But I'm sure they will never tell you about it on their site...

Apple unethical behaviour and incompetence at genius bar

Case no. [protected]. Apple Store Westfield Stratford UK 4 July 2017
Brought in iPhone 5 for same day lifted screen replacement and MiniMac for data backup help as arranged in store Saturday 2 July.
Failed both on counts as reported to a manager Mervyn Merchant .
1) no same day screen service as promised
2) no help backing phone data content to MiniMac as promised

Manager wasted more than 60mins of my time [@
£50.00 per hour], said that data backup was customer responsibility, yet staff at Bar Saturday had 'backed up' to Cloud no issue. Genius staff couldn't get a display on my MiniMac and said that was probably broken [when I said it worked before OK and has worked OK back at home today]
Manager refused to get screen replaced [at my cost] on the day, unable/refused to provide name of staff who I saw on Saturday, denying that any arrangement had been made, wouldn't tell me if any other fault existed on my iPhone having run a programme through it.
I left the store worrying about my MiniMac angry that I'd have to wait until Friday to go in again [no appointment confirmation given either] and wait up to 120mins more! My iPhone has completely died this morning, a major inconvenience, and who knows it could have be caused by their rough handling yesterday afternoon. Manager refused to believe my story, citing product issues when an invalid response message received whilst following your 'How to back up with iTunes', also saying my MiniMac was faulty when they couldn't get a display on their Store screen. I would like an apology and my phone repaired for free and data reloaded when I go into the Stratford store this Friday afternoon.

Apple paid audiobook content missing. not apple's problem.

I recently found that an audiobook that I purchased from iTunes was incomplete. Missing the last 13 minutes of content. Just spent the last two hours on the phone with Apple. I was informed by a Senior Advisor from iTunes that Apple is not responsible for missing content in any item that is purchased from the iTunes store. He also informed me that I'm not entitled to a refund for the incomplete audiobook.

If I knew the house was defective, I would have never made the purchase in the first place. It's called common sense. Thanks.

Update by Ghost3225

Respectfully, that's passing the buck. Apple shouldn't be offloading it's fiduciary responsibility onto the consumer. If a product has be been purchased via iTunes, and is either incomplete or doesn't function as per the contract, than that's 100% on Apple to make it right or not offer the product for sale. Continuing to offer this product for sale is wilful negligence on the part of Apple. Apple needs to act in good faith and supply what was paid for, or refund the money in full. Simple. It's a billion dollar company. They can afford to do the right thing on this file.

Apple ipad never connected - repair r237352285

Received Delivery from T-Mobile of brand new IPAD around April 25, 2017.

To date I have visited the Apple store in Towson, Maryland twice and talked with too many service people on the phone for too many long periods of time.

The last visit to store resulted in the following: REQUEST FOR NEW IPAD TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE ONE THAT HAS NEVER WORKED. All anyone has to do is check the data usage and they will know that the IPAD has not been used since it was delivered to me.

When I arrived at the store to pick-up the replacement IPAD, I was handed a reconstituted IPAD to replace my new IPAD. That just does not make sense to me and I refused to take the device.

I WANT A NEW DEVICE TO REPLACE THE NEW ONE THAT HAS NEVER WORKED.

Apple we can't find the phone

I bought an iPhone 7 for my girlfriend and she was robbed in a public transport. Thieve stole her phone.
We thought that it would not be difficult to find the phone because Apple has this special function which can find all of your Apple devices.
Unfortunately this function didn't work and showed nothing. Phone was gone and there was no way to find it.
I contacted Apple, explained what happened and asked for a refund or for another phone but they refused. I was very disappointed.
They say their products are easy to find but that is not true, that thing simply does not work.
