SOMETHING WHICH NEEDED TO BE DONE TO STOP THIS MY STORE LIMITED SCAMS !.
I have been buying various products online for a long time, but I never came across any deceptive marketer or seller, this is my first occurance with MY STORE LIMITED, also with provocation, used former buyer/customer from Pakistan without any truth and nor written paper evidence ( use deceptive tactics ! ).
Here my case with MY STORE LIMITED :
Regulation of law of Indonesia permit a person to buy only 1 unit Iphone from overseas, also I told them this regulation of law of Indonesia, before placing my order to MY STORE LIMITED and they agreed & no problem that I could order for only 1 ( ONE ) unit Iphone 3GS – 32GB.
So, on Thursday, Sept., 3rd., 2009, I sent my money ( £234 GBP = $380.00USD) through WESTEN UNION transfer and MY STORE LIMITED confirmed and received my money at the same day.
Suddenly they told and forced me that I have to send more money to them for 2 units more + get 1 unit free, I refused to send more money to MY STORE LIMITED, because I don’t want to against and impinge my own country law, and then they surely not to send my order as well as do not return my money though by cancelling my order.
Up to now they are intimidating me to send more money to MY STORE LIMITED.

macbook pro is unstable and bad for business!
I've always been a Windows based PC user, however after repeatedly seeing Apple ads about how much better a Mac is compared to a PC, I decided to purchase a Macbook Pro and give Apple a shot. Actually that is not entirely correct. The fact that my old computer (which was a Sony Vaio laptop) was a total piece of crap might have had something to do with it as well. By the time I purchased the Macbook, I was missing a few keys on the keyboard and the casing for my Vaio was breaking into three pieces. Not to mention, my battery completely died and I had to keep the damn thing plugged into a socket all the time to get any use from it at all. So by the time I got my Macbook, I felt like I really didn't even have a Sony laptop anymore; it was more like a crappy Sony desktop (Just for the record I actually treated my Sony laptop pretty good, and this was normal wear and tear that caused my ### computer to fall into pieces).
So yea annoyed at the build of my Sony laptop, I go into a Bestbuy and buy my Macbook Pro right there on the spot. Thinking to myself that after this purchase I'm going to be in high tech heaven and all my problems are going to just go right away. Much to my dismay, I would find out that the Macbook severely limits business users, and if you actually have to access specialized programs and websites for your work, purchasing a Macbook, atleast for now, is not be a very good idea.
Now, I don't like to sit here and give computer companies a bad name for no reason at all. I do like a few things about my Macbook Pro. First it looks really shiny and cool. I was even getting envious looks from the Bestbuy cashier who checked me out. She even went so far as to tell me that she had a Windows PC because the Macbooks were so out of her league (because they are more expensive than Windows based computers). I felt really good there for a second, hah. So in addition to the look of the Macbook, it is built way better than my Sony Vaio. It feels sturdier and it doesn't have a cheap plastic casing holding all the parts together.
However, as I spent more time with my Macbook Pro after I brought it home, I realized that what I bought wasn't cut out to be all that the Apple ads had promised. First of all since I use my Macbook for my company, I get a lot of use out of it. It's on for quite a few hours during the day because almost everything at my company happens on a computer. Everyday I seem to have to reboot my machine because it starts acting funny if I don't . In comparison, I only had to reboot my windows computer every few days. Second, a lot of websites don't even work with the Safari Web browser that they have installed on the Macbook Pro. I can't access two very important websites that I need to use for my work from my computer. They are not compatible with the Safari web browser (thank God I have a spare Toshiba windows based laptop lying around). Third, during my spare time I like playing online yahoo games. Often times while I'm playing a game online, my safari web browser just suddenly crashes and the whole screen just goes white. That almost NEVER happened on my windows based Sony computer (even though it was built like total crap). Fourth, I have noticed that everything downloads slower on my Safari web browser when I go to any website on the net. Even on my crappy Sony laptop, stuff used to download faster.
So together all these issues are causing me a LOT of grief, and I am VERY technologically dysfunctional at my work. Until Apple clears up some of these issues, or I guess eventually down the line web developers start making applications and programs that are compatible with both the Apple and Windows based web browsers, I do not recommend that professional, working people buy Apple computers as their primary computing machines.
I have to preface everything I am about to say with the fact that in my lifetime of 26 years I have ONLY ever used Macintosh computers. We got our first mac when I was 5 in 1989 and I got my own mini mac in the early 90's. Since those beginnings I have become not just a macuser, but an adamant shopper with Apple. I have purchased 4 iPhones from them (3 full price), 2 computers, endless software and updates, and an iPad. I have always loved their customer service and felt good about the relationship I was developing with them over the years. I own a successful photography company and am at the point where I am expanding every year, and a big part of that is purchasing more hardware like computers and other products Apple offers, but I am at the point that I'm starting to believe the expense and "customer service" are not really what they say them to be.
My first complaint goes back to a few months ago. My DVD drive - which as a photographer who needs to burn images for clients - I use often, and it just suddenly quit on me. I sent it into apple in January and I did not test it right away when it came back — because I assume that anything I send to Apple is going to come back fixed when they say they have fixed it, and I do not need to test for shoddy workmanship. This was not the case. And during my slow season in the early spring I did not realize I had a problem until a few weeks ago. I was receiving the same error and having DVDs rejected (regardless of the make, I have many different brands in my house) and it was only working about 25% of the time. I got one to burn finally and sent it to my client, who later called to complain that the DVD he received consisted solely of corrupted JPGs which upon loading in the finder crashed his whole computer. I called Apple, prior to hearing about the corrupted DVD, and was told, "You just need to burn the CDs and DVDs at a lower speed." Okay - so I purchased a 3 year warranty and your answer to me is that the computer has capabilities listed that I actually shouldn't be trying to use? I have to say also that the man I spoke with, who was a supervisor, was incredibly curt with me and I felt a little slighted that that was his response. However, I don't really have time in the summer with weddings and graduations to send my computer off to be fixed for two weeks, so I just hoped that this would work. It hasn't, and I can't even burn a CD in iTunes at the lowest speed. I called AGAIN and reluctantly I was told by another supervisor who made me feel like she was doing me a huge favor by letting me resend something in that never was fixed, that I could once more send my computer in and she would kindly email me her contact information. I WAS NEVER CONTACTED POST-PHONE CALL. Which means in the midst of making phone calls to clients and the likes I have to call Apple back again, wait for an available supervisor, and deal once more with a rude personality that acts like I'm somehow trying to take advantage of the system.
In addition, I rarely keep projects I'm working on or music on my hard drive on my computer, but use an external drive. I noticed that there was about 40GB of space that I could not account for. After running DiscInventory there was a folder listed as "private" which did not appear in the finder. I was able to safely delete the files I needed to from there with a little work around. Two weeks later the same problem has happened again. I don't understand why my computer would be generating log files that large or that quickly. But I ran DiscInventory again and moved the files to the trash. One of those files was "VAR". APPARENTLY within those files is the log for the administrative password, a log which is activated in order to put the folder in the trash in the first place. However, once the folder has been moved to the trash, the only way to restore it is with an administrative password, which means running the log file for that which is currently in the trash and cannot be run. Do you see the vicious cycle?
I have looked everywhere all over the internet and I cannot find any responses on how to solve this problem, even through the terminal. The only "possible" option is to reinstall and backup your data. FUNNY STORY I can't activate time machine on the hard drive I need to use WITHOUT an active administrative password.
In the meantime I'm going to be receiving a call from Apple first thing in the morning. Who wants to bet I have to pay the $30 for the phone call?

This complaint of mine is to the apple technical team wherein i want to state that i have bought an Apple notebook mac book pro i7 in 2012.
This machine was under warranty for one year and i respect the warranty policy but my mac book started some OS problem in the initial 9 months and i took it otherwise. later after about 2 more months my laptop used to hang after every 10-15 seconds. when i went to an apple center, the guy at the technical center seen my laptop and said this is a normal problem and advised to format my laptop with the genuine OS which came with the Mac book.
And i did as per the advice given to me by the technical assistant and the Apple center But now after 3 -4 months i am facing the same problem and now the warranty is void.
When i am trying to put a complaint on the apple official site it is showing that my technical assistance is expired, i know it is expired but i just want to raise a complaint to the apple technical team that i bought mac book instead of buying HP and DELL just because of the brand name but never expected that this machine is only waste of money and time because only in 9-10 months it started screwing my head.
Earlier i have used HP Compaq 6710b series business laptop and it is such a fantastic machine even after 5-6 years it is working properly.
Its my humble request to the Apple team that please do the needful because now i cannot pay more for this system problem in my Mac book.
and its not that i am using the machine in some harsh conditions and i never ever thought that an Apple machine will become problematic like this.
My Mac book series no. is C02FTD9LDH2H. I know that Apple is one of the best brands in the world but what is the fun in having an Apple product if the customer is not happy after buying it.

Websites not running on a Mac will not be an issue with you running on a Mac. I would suggest going to an Apple Store and paying $99 for one-on-one support. You likely will be doing much better afterward. I'd also suggest using the Firefox browser or, though I haven't used it, Chrome. I just bought a MacBook Pro and love it. I also use it constantly all day long in my business. I do, however, run VMWare Fusion for those apps that don't run on a Mac.
I have no idea what you're talking about. If you can't use a Mac, you're an idiot. Safari is the best Web browser there is. Very fast. Very stable. Seriously. If you can't figure out a Mac, you must really not know a thing about computers.
I'm not to sure about the Apple operation system concering your crashes and whatnot, but you can try using an alternative browser (such as IE 0r Firefox).

I had been a happy Apple customer and between my wife and i we both own Iphones. UNTIL NOW
My wifes iphone had a screen that started flickering and we spent 3 hours on with an apple support representative only to be told that the phone needs to be replaced. I thought wow great. Luckily i purchased the AppleCare protection plan. The support person setup a replacement under the applecare plan and said he needed a credit card number incase i never returned the faulty phone. It seemed reasonable at the time so i gave him the number again assuring it would only be charged if i did not return the faulty iphone. Well little did i know that a weeks later i would receive a letter from Apple that i was being charged for the "damaged" iphone. I called to only be told that the phone had "water damage" which only adds insult to an already bad situation. Let me be clear this phone was kept in a case and out of the way of WATER at all times. I was asked did i use it while it was raining? are you kidding me? maybe i dropped it in water... umm NO well maybe i spilt something on it. Are you kidding with the price they make you pay for these darn phones it was treated like gold. Kept in a case and well cared for. I asked many times for the proof of water damage. The first time i was told that is Apple Proprietary information. Finally today i get a halfway blurry picture of what i am told is proof of water damage. I have spoken to 2 supervisors at apple support and both tell me that i am out of luck. They make the final decision and i must pay the charge. I am looking for your support and help to get this applecareless issue resolved.
All i would like is what i have paid for a working Iphone and not to be defrauded out of money because they had my credit card "on file". Apple has no authorization to charge my card yet refuses to reverse the charge.

Tony & Noelle Jarad are complete fraudsters. They do not have a real supplier and are not authorised resellers of apple products.
They go around Melbourne to Apple outlets or Telstra outlets and buy the original apple iphones and send them as samples around the world. they gain the trust of a buyer or the buyers agents to have them agree to bank wire the funds across.
The victoria police are investigating the number of complaints against them both and those of us who have been burnt are gathering all the evidence against both of them and sending to the current affairs programs in Australia. Both their pictures will be sent around australian tvs. Their family and friends will all know what theyve done and they will not have a leg to stand on..they will not be able to sue anyone as the proof of them accepting money and withdrawing the money can be provided to both channel 7& channel 9.
Do not deal with Tony jarad or noelle Jarad or Apple Iphone King, Noelles Superstores. They are Frauds and are comitting a serious crime. They think theyve gotten away with it, but they have absolutely no idea whats coming their way.

I requested support from Apple Customer Care in holding there applications accountable good quality support and service. In this case, the company named PlayMesh in my opinion provided me very poor customer service including an accusation of possibly stealing without any probable cause.
Apple reply; the iTunes Store Customer Support team does not evaluate and review these applications. Please note that developer is the best resource for information about this application. Therefore, I recommend you contact them directly.

I brought my phone to the Farmington, CT Apple store for only camera issues. The tech diagnose my phone and I was told my battery and camera stabilizer needed to be fixed. I was ok with paying for that service. Returned to the Apple Store and was told that the new stabilizer didn't pass the test. Note that I was able to use the camera but not up to apple standards. The battery they said was fine THEY said. The tech suggested I buy another phone for $300+ because they were unable to fix the phone... I said no and left the store. Couple hours later no audio/cant take calls unless phone on speaker. Today, I can't see/use camera/FaceTime or have audio...I didn't go to Apple with these issues or told that I have or would encounter these issues... This is putting me in a ugly situation that Apple created by messing with my phone... This shouldn't happen to anyone!

Employees at the Apple Retail store in Delaware are shockingly arrogant when it comes to interacting with the customer. The old adage of "the customer is always right" does not apply to the business model of this store. Today while in the store, I witnessed a teenage showing a lack of respect to a more mature customer. Not only did the teenage did not know how to escalate the customer's concern but she showed a stubbornness that is all too familiar with parents who have teenagers who think that they are the world. The customer who was being verbally assaulted by the teenager went to find the manager. As I was accompanying the customer to find the manager, I thought that the situation would be resolved. Boy was I wrong! The manager lacked managerial skills and did not have the ability to amend a relationship with a customer. The manager failed to see the value a customer brings to the store. Furthermore, the manager failed to listen to what the customer was saying. He focused on minor points and did not understand the major complaint of the customer. Instead of taking the initiative to inform the customer that he will handle the situation (as is customary of most retail stores) he asked the customer what he should do.
This experience has showed me that Apple, though an innovator in consumer electronics, is not concerned with the value of a customer. Apple is turning society into mindless computer systems and heartless humans.

My friend and I purchase thousands of dollars worth of Apple products a year and we both can honestly say they, literally, have the WORST after purchase customer service of any company we have ever dealt with no matter what location the store is at. The people dealing with issues after purchase could not be more rude and could write the book on giving attitude. It does not matter the dollar amount you spend with this company...all people are treated equally - like [censor]!

I first purchased an "ipod starter kit" from Sam's Club back in the late 90's. $350 with tax.
Included software, ipod, earbuds, fm transmitter, and usb cable.
It worked so well, I fell in love with it!
Last fall, I noticed it started to malfunction so, I purchased a new ipod classic directly from Apple. No software, just ipod, earbuds, usb cable came. Shortly after purchasing the new ipod, I purchased a bose sound dock for a Christmas present for myself. $350 + tax and shipping on the ipod, $400 for the sound dock. (I save for an entire year, sometimes longer, to purchase what I consider one nice Christmas gift for myself.)
I have been online continuously trying to download the iTunes application since the time of my purchase to no avail. "iTunessetup.exe is not a valid win32 application". I have been to the "troubleshooting" page and tried absolutely everything recommended by Apple to rectify the problem, still nothing. After nearly two years of trying online, today I finally called Apple customer service to explain my dilemma and try to obtain a software cd-rom. After all my expense, I thought it would be proper compensation.
Having to pay for an isp, leaving my PC on for days at a time uses a lot of electricity as well.
The customer service rep could only express to me things I already knew, try to charge me an additional $30 for some type of agreement, repeatedly put me on hold, and tell me there would be some huge expense for purchasing the software cd-rom I was requesting.
I ended myself conversation with the representative as politely as possible. I told him I could not afford any more expense with an already defective product and that requesting a software cd-rom was my last resort to repairing the problem.
Over $1, 000.00 in purchases, time, electricity, frustration, having to restore my PC about 100 times.
Maybe not much to some.
I found the same lack of customer support and respect at the Indianapolis Keystone Square store (Aug. 30 2009) I went in to upgrade my iphone to a G3 and what I found was a store that lacked any organization. I doubt that the sales reps (if that’s what they are) could even recognize a customer, basally I was ignored. When I started to ask an employee at the counter about the iphone I was rebuffed and told I would need to talk with one of the floor employees? I walked out! This was a waste of my personal time, which is very valuable to me. The impression I got was argent snobbery.

I only heard negative things about Kevin Reid. He's constantly changing his number. I found out one of his numbers he was calling me from was from a payphone in Toronto Canada.
Tony Jarad is unprofessional and never keeps delivery dates. Make sure to deal with these people via www.escrow.com or some third party company to manage the funds. Don't trust them b/c they never have inventory.

I guess I can't say I was not warned about the incredibly poor customer service and arrogant attitude of Apple.
After buying the new iPhone 3GS, and having it less than 2 weeks, phone over-heating and inability to keep a charge forced me to seek a replacement. After contacting Apple technical support, I was informed that indeed, I needed to have the phone replaced. I was also informed that my only options to do so was to allow Apple to hold onto $700 of my money while the new phone was shipped to me and my phone was sent back... or travel over 30 miles to the nearest Apple retail store (Northridge, CA) to get the replacement in person, alleviating the need for the ransom. I opted for the retail store option. I made a reservation to meet with one of their "Geniuses" (that's what they actually call themselves. Further example of the Apple arrogance). Since I was traveling such a great distance, I called to verify that they would have one in stock. I was informed that they would not divulge that kind of information. I would have to take the chance that they would have one in stock... but was assured that surely they would have several of my model.
Upon arriving, and waiting thirty minutes beyond my agreed appointment time, was informed that they did not, in fact, have any in stock. They then proceeded to direct me to another store (Topanga Mall, Canoga Park, CA), which was 15 miles further. I asked them to call to verify that this other store would have one in stock. The "genius" says that the store would not divulge that information, not even to him. Having no other recourse left to me, I proceeded to this second store... and was promptly informed that they too did not have any in stock either... but I could travel another 15 miles to a third store (Sherman Oaks, CA)... but they could not find out if they had any of my phone in stock.
Figuring that surely a third time would be the charm, I stupidly drove the additional miles to the third store, now almost 60 miles from my home... only to find... you guessed it. They did not have any in stock either, but would be HAPPY to order me one and I could drive back a week or so later to pick it up! I turned down the ridiculous offer and headed back to the first store, and placed the order there. Not only did they refuse to expedite the order to make up for the ordeal they just put me through over the past several hours, but would not commit to when the phone would be there for me to drive back to pick up. When I asked if they would at least call me when it came in, I was told that it was against the Apple retail store policy to do that... but I could call every day to see if it was in!
This is the incredible, ###ic arrogance of Apple and the terrible lack of customer service I had been warned about, but did not believe.
Yet another glaring reason to stick with a PC!
Question:
a) Why on Earth is it against policy to inform a customer if you have a product in stock?
b) Why could the order not be expedited or at least sent to my home to help amend the situation
c) Why is it against policy to inform a customer when their product arrives?
d) Why should ANYONE have to undergo such treatment or experience this scenario simply to replace a defective, EXPENSIVE, product that they have owned for a mere ten days?

Fraud
I bought an iphone from www.globseason.com for £245 + £24 bank charges as the payment was made via international bank transfer. I was informed by their customer service advisor JANE that this is all I have to pay and as part of their terms & conditions they were no extra hidden charges.
The company received my payment into their bank account and once cleared I received an email that the iphone has been posted and was given a tracking number for DHL selivery services.
I checked the tracking number and it was not showing anything, anyway 2 days later eventually when the company got back to me they said that the delay was due to the customs holding the phone in China as custom duty needs to be paid which is £132.
Nowhere on their website was stated that the buyer has to pay custom charges as I was told that the amount I paid was all I owed the company. The company then apologised and said if I buy another iphone they will pay for the customs and send 2 phones. I told them that I am not paying anything extra and that I now required a full refund which on their website the have clearly stated that they will refund the whole amount including postage charges if customer not happy with product. Well in my case I havent even received it and already not happy with the service. SInce I have asked for a refund its been 2 weeks that I have not received any correspondance from the company. It appears that they are now ignoring me.

I visited the Verizon Store at Bowie Town Center to have the voice control deactivated from my phone. The salesman took my phone and stated their is a glitch with the voice control command, whereas you have to reset the phone back to the factory settings from the computer to deactivate the voice control command. I went home and did just that. I reset the phone as instructed, which removed most of my apps and pictures. AND THE VOICE COMMAND WAS STILL ON. My 19yr old son, discovered what I was doing, and began researching this issue. His finding were just the opposite. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY.
Please provide more training to your salespeople.

I know this isn't much of a complaint and seems pathetic but shows the point. It seems that itunes has everysong that ever existed, including songs that existed over 20 yrs ago.WRONG! One of my several Favourite Artists 'Selwyn' who has had approx. 3 hits and two albums released in the last decade, but yet he seems not too exist on iTunes. I have have tried numerous times searching and 'power searching' on the iTunes store, but nothing has come up.
Some of Selwyn's hits include: 'Rich Girl' (2002). 'Boomin' (2004/05). 'Like This, Like That' (around 2004) and his second album is entitled 'One Way'

Since the most recent update to the VZ Navigator App, when I attempt to type content in the "Search" field, the app locks up. No letter appears in to field, but on the key board the letter I've attempted to type is high lighted but then the screen locks up.

I've been using iTunes for well over 4 years now. Like clockwork, there is routinely a new version of iTunes available for install with new improvements. On each of these notifications of the availability of a newer version the specifics of what has been changed are never offered. After repairing my laptop, i was prompted with an iTunes update, so a usual I agreed to the new version. It wasn't until after I downloaded the new version (8.0.2.20) that I noticed a new artist in my artist list entitled 'Compilations'. Upon further investigation I discovered that while many of the artists in the compilations list were still accessible through the regular artists list, other were not. In other words, several of my artists now only appear under compilations, and are only able to be viewed and played by browsing through the compilations list. This is an unchangeable patch to the new version... Upon researching a general customer service email address to file a complaint with the company, I discovered there is no such address, and the only path to sending a customer service email is painstaking and only turns up dead ends and answers/recommendations to unrelated issues. I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the iTunes customer service, and the program designers who decided this was an acceptable change.
I tried 2 download a file TEN F___ING TIMES, it compeletly downloaded, and then CUT OUT, saying it was CORRUTED> CLEAN UP UR FREAKING FILES APPLE!
I wonder why iTunes for windows is the slowest programs that I have ever used since the very first Mac was built. It always takes minutes to tens of minutes to process anything and it can only process one thing at a time, plus it slows down every computer, while in use, I have ever used it on. It is so bad it almost seems designed so windows users get paid back for not owning and apple computer. Well apple I own 4 Iphones and two Ipads can't you throw me a bone. I have tried iTunes on 10 different windows computers with OS ranging from XP to Windows 8 with the same results every time. I have been trying for the last 20 minutes just update my playlist . It is pathetic and consumers need to demand better. It is not just you but the program. I keep loading every update and keep praying that is will be faster but no. I hear from my friends that oh it is that ITunes is just slow, get used to it. We shouldn't get used to it. While on the subject why does it take an hour to sync a few gigs of data through the apple cable or sometimes two hours to perform a software update on the phone?
I have that problem too, but don't take it out on the iTunes store! It would be impossible for iTunes to have every song! Try using a p2p file sharing program or torrents.
I totally agree with the fact that you can't contact Apple if you don't like 'features' that they have put in the new version iTunes. For me it were other things that could be done in older versions of iTunes, but you can't do in the latest version. Just the fact that you don't seem to be able to complain to Apple about it (never mind that anything should be done about it), is, to say the least, annoying. I think it would be a good thing if you had at least option to go back to an older version of iTunes.

I bought a 3G iphone in South Africa from a Vodacom, a national cell provider, last December but I live in Australia. Unfortunately I wasnt told that the warranty is country specific and not international. So now that my iphone has a massive software issue I cant get a replacement. How can a huge growth company known for thinking outside the box and quality be so incredibly narrow minded when it comes to customers needs and idiotic warranty. I bought myself an Apple I-Phone 3GS about two weeks ago, the phone is in pristine condition, we did a software update and now it has the ''popular'' flashing Apple sign, i took it in to the I-Store in Port Elizabeth SA where they told me it is a vintage phone and they offer no back up on it? I understand it is not a new phone anymore, but i just paid R1000.00 for it and now it is useless, is there anyway that Apple might be able to assist? I do not have the financial back up to buy a I-phone 5, and I really love the Apple product (my first one now) I would really like to carry on using the products but if they don't offer any back up then it does not make sense to spend money on something I cannot use.
Is there anyway to assist in this matter? I do not mind paying, but they offer no assistance at all.

The very next day the handset exhibited all sorts of malfunction viz. hanging and switching off all of a sudden. Consequently on 23/08/2013, I approached the service centre named Future World, Retail Pvt. Ltd. N-9 Outer circle Connaught Place New Delhi – 110001, Phone: 011-[protected] and the set was returned to me after minor repairs. Astonishingly the set repeatedly showed same problems with the result that I was once again forced to visit the same service centre on 24/08/2013. This time the set was replaced with the so called new product (Serial No. C3KKT1THDP0N and IMEI No [protected]).
My miseries did not end here because this set too has problems, (viz. defective camera, occasional vanishing of missed calls etc.). It seems as if the company provides refurbished sets in the name of replacement.
I request the higher authorities to intervene immediately so that I may not be put into further harassment.

Today at 3:00pm, my 2 year old son and I went to the Galleria mall specifically to make a purchase of a new lap top from the Apple store. We entered the store and a very thin lap top caught my eye. That's the problem when a customer goes to an electronic store of any kind. All the computers are connected to the internet so customers can view internet speed and specs like that, and the computers themselves are available for the customers to preview and tryout. So not all customers are mature enough to maintain themselves in a store, but ususually the employees go around and swamp the computers so they're available for viewing by the next customers. It's not that Apple is a bad store, it's just that bad customers manage to find their ways in.

I bought an iPhone 3G on Sept 20, 08. The phone broke at 32 days (Oct 22, only white screen can be seen) while I was charging it using a computer and Apple's USB cable. I did not abuse it nor drop it at all. I bought a protective skin right after buying the phone.
After hours of conversation with Apple technician, I was told to go to the Apple store at Northbrook, Illinois. It was swapped with a refurbished phone only. After using the refurbished phone for a few days, it started to behave funny, the light had problem. After another round of conversation, the customer support finally agreed to send me a brand new one. The brand new phone is concluded as a broken BRAND NEW phone since it does not take any SIM cards AT&T put in.
I went back to the Apple store, I was offered another reburbished phone again. I refused to take it. I was told by the technican in the store if the phone was bought in an Apple store, it is subject to be replaced by a brand new phone. Since the phone was purchased in a AT&T store, only refurbished phone can be offered as a replacement. I feel unreasonable on this kind of arrangement since customers who buy iphone from AT&T are treated unequally and were not warned in advance. Moreover, AT&T is the only phone company which is authorized by Apple to sell iphone. Even if I go back to AT&T, Apple does not authorize AT&T to swap a brand new for the customer either.
Another thing is : a customer uses $299 to buy a brand new phone and if it broke, there is no reason it is replaced by a refurbished phone when the phone is still under warranty. All the technicians and customer support person keep telling customers 'refurbished phone' is not being used by anyone before but were heavily tested. I think this is a big lie since they could not answer me how they first justify to make a brand new phone to become a refurbished phone.

Still no response from anyone at Apple
My son has been trying to buy a new Macbook Pro on the apple.ca site. He is a student at University. The cost of the computer on the apple.ca site is: $2, 049 base price, plus $90 for an upgrade to the high res glossy screen, plus $5 Alberta recycling fee, for a Total of $2, 144. The website does not disclose to customers what the tax will be, BUT in Alberta it is a flat 5% GST. The total should be $2251.20. He has tried to put this through on his VISA card BUT Apple tries to charge his card $2, 487.54. I have talked to numerous Apple employees, some of whom have tried to tell me this is not Apples problem because Apple does not collect the tax, the government does. (Wrong, Apple collects taxes and remits the tax collected to the government). Other Apple employees simply have no idea what I am talking about. Just what Apple does with the extra 11% is unknown. Is it remitted to the government or is it simply a skimming operation? Whatever, my son wants to buy a computer and not get cheated by Apple.
A) Does anyone at Apple have the intelligence to comprehend this? So far...no.
B) Does anyone at Apple care? So far...no.
C) Can this person that cares fix this problem? So far...no.

Poorly tested products
The original iPhone was a Christmas gift to me. It looks great, and sounds like it would be very helpful and make one very productive.
Nonsense!
I got my iPhone well after the original release. It malfunctioned monthly for the first four months I had it. Time and time again, I learned, Apple had shipped the product without adequately testing the software required the make it work properly. Release after release of software was supposed to fix the bugs. It didn't happen.
After four consecutive months of problems, and more than a dozen hours in Apple Stores and installing updated software, a supervisor on the telephone told me that he would send me a temporary unit by overnight air and have my unit examined and either repaired or replaced. His overnight shipment arrived SIX days later because Apple Computer cannot even write a shipping label correctly. They omitted the signficiant information I provide (and lied on the phone saying it was on the label). By the time the temporary unit arrived, a new version of software seemed to fix the problem.
Knowing that my original iPhone was such a lemon, the same person bought me the new iPhone 3G hoping that it would come with properly tested software. It did not. What I have subsequentlly been told by an Apple employee is: (1) the 3G network coverage supplied by AT&T is sparse in many large cities (I live in Chicago, and that is my experience), (2) in 3G mode if you leave an area of 3G coverage a call in progress is dropped, (3) in 3G mode the battery runs down twice as fast so that you can't make it through the day without recharging if you use it much, and (4) there are known software problems which Apple prefers not to advertise. In short, Apple and their partner-in-misrepresentation AT&T, have set up a very glitzy advertising campaign to sell a product with known shortfalls that they never mention.
I [censor]ed enough to get a refund on my 3G. However, I am still stuck with the original iPhone which is equally useless unless you get a thrill out of diagnosing failures and fixing them.
I have better things to do.
It will be a cold day in hell before I ever buy anything else of Apple Computer.

What best buy has with their customers is very disrespectful. You tell them you want to get on the waiting list for the iPhone 5 and they tell you to get in line to ask. After waiting 2 hours and a half they tell you the waiting list for the iPhone 5 is closed. Please inform your personal better to tell their customers everything from the very beginning because no one goes there to waste their time
Mobilecom New York sold me an iPhone and told me it was unlocked. It turns out it wasn't. They also charged me $99 for a protection plan they said was for apple but didn't give me any information on it. I then went to an Apple store and they verified that the phone wasn't unlocked and didn't have the protection plan attached to it.
I bought a Iphone 3GS for 446 dollar. When I came back to Italy I opened the pack and I discovered that it is an Iphone 3 g, completely malfunctioning and with the battery spent; the phone itself is used.
I wasn't able to think that this robbery may happen in the center of New York.
i have a bad phone that won't take the software updates. i am willing to pay for an upgrade but they want to charge full price because i'm not eligible for their upgrade. they don't care about the customer being happy. basically they said "TOO BAD" JUST KEEP PAYING THE BILL. I bet when it's time to renew the contract, they'll be all super nice, but at that time it will be too late for me.

apple incompetence a 7 month ordeal and counting...
This is my impotent complaint-rant against Apple Computers. It is posted here because Apple Computers doesn't want to hear about complaints. However, in the very odd chance one of their telereps actually addressing a complaint, the odds are even worse that you will receive even remotely decent service. The following is a tale of mass incompetence--not for the faint of heart :
July 20th, 2007: I order a MacBookPro online directly from Apple Computers.
Mid-August, 2007: MacBook Pro arrives DOA (dead on arrival)
During a telephone call Apple Computers promise a new Mac within days.
2 weeks pass and no Mac
I contact Mac concerning the fact that nothing has arrived. Apple re-promises that the MacBook Pro is being shipped within 48 hrs and arriving within two weeks(!); they offer to throw in a product from their store to compensate for the time delay (limit: $50). I agree but do not yet choose a product.
13 days later, I check the tracking number and see that the MacBook HASN'T EVEN BEEN SHIPPED. The following day (a Friday) I contact Apple to complain. They promise updates throughout the weekend from "a team" that is working on getting it to me ASAP.
I wait, but there is virtually NO COTACT FROM APPLE THOUGHOUT FRIDAY OR THE WHOLE WEEKEND.
I call Monday, demand to speak with a manager, and discover that NO ACTION HAS BEEN MADE ON MY CASE. The manager I speak with asks if she can call me back in 45 minutes to "look into your case". She refuses to acknowledge that this is, in fact, bad service (only repeating again and again, "I understand that you are upset, but let's see what we can do . . ."). 1.5 hrs later, SHE HAS NOT CALLED BACK, so I call the Apple management team AGAIN(!). They offer NO EXPLANATION for why no action was taken during the previous weekend or why the manager did not return my call. I inform this second manager that it is perhaps unwise to promise a client that you will call them back and not do so when said client is already receiving terrible service.
Although this second manager also refuses to acknowledge that this is bad service, she does offer a credit of $200.00 (or thereabouts) to compensate me for my trouble(s) and continued absence of the laptop. I accept the offer of compensation. Recounting what they have promised to send, the manager states that I am to receive a MacBook Pro, a cheque of (or around) $200.00, and an armband that carries a video iPod as per MY CHOICE OF PRODUCT from the Apple Store. I inform her that I DID NOT CHOOSE the armband (I hadn't made any choice t all, in fact), but that I do not even own a video iPod. I ask who decided on the armband on my behalf and the manager replies she doesn't know. I choose a different product.
The manager informs me the cheque will take approximately 6 weeks(!) to arrive. Because I am moving from one province to another, I inform her NOT TO SEND THE CHEQUE TO MY CURRENT ADDRESS and I provide her with my new address. (NOTE: I have, in fact, already informed every Apple telerepresentative that I would be moving out of concern that the initial purchase may arrive too late)
Within two weeks the MacBook Pro and product from the Apple Store arrive. Finally.
Several weeks later, and having moved to a different province, I call to inquire about the cheque. An Apple management team member informs me that it has been sent to my OLD ADDRESS, so the process will have to start all over again. They ask me to e-mail my new address to them (even though I have them on the line at that very moment).
November 29th, 2007: I send the e-mail with my new address.
January 16th, 2008: I call Apple to inquire about the cheque at a number recommended by an Apple rep. What a surprise: no one at the number knows anything about the cheque, or what kind of credit it might be. They forward me to another rep that also has no background information available on my file concerning the cheque/credit and they forward me to someone else. This third person states that they have no information about the cheque because NO CHEQUE HAS BEEN ISSUED OR SENT. This third person takes my address (AGAIN!) and personal information and promises someone will be in contact with me within 24 hrs.
I ask if there's a number where I can issue a complaint. The rep offers a number. I call it, and that number connects to Apple Canada's general information number. There is literally no option to discuss issuing a complaint with anyone.
I call another number to issue a complaint. Because they have no information concerning the cheque they have no number that they can recommend for me to issue a complaint.
I hung up the phone, found this site, and have posted this, my complaint against Apple Computers. Apple products are great, but their customer service is pure evil. By and large Apple reps do not provide any service, they treat their customers like crap (I am a repeat Apple laptop buyer), and are utterly and completely incompetent.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I have iPod Hi-Fi docking station which I have received as a gift from my parents about 16 months ago. It was very expensive present, they paid more than $500 for it from Apple online. This docking station has a great sound but it is stopped working last week. I have called the Apple customer service and ask them for help. They said the product is out of warranty and I have to pay for repair, I agreed ( there was no other option anyway ). The send me to the nearby Apple store. I have been waiting in the store about 50 minutes for assistance and after that they told me my product is out of warranty and they are not able to repair that. I have called the Apple again following day and they try to send me to the store again. I told them what happened in the store and they said they couldn't help me. I asked for some supervisor and they transfer me to her. She send me to the store again and when I told her what was happened in the store a day before, she said I have to go for vrepair to third party. So I go to the Chicago repair shop and asked for repair. The technician said they are able to repair that if they will have the part ( metal stick which going in to the iPod ), but they don't have it and there is no possibility to order it from Apple. I have called Apple again, they send me to the store, send me to the third repair party and after that, they told me I have to buy a new Hi-fi docking station. If I ask where, they said they don't know because they don't produce them anymore. I think this is BAD JOKE! I had product from APPLE for more than $500 which was good enough only for 16 MONTHS! Now, I should throw it away and buy a new one - other brand which will be for I hope last longer.

Honestly, it would cost you MORE to repair it than buy a new one in most cases. That is why they told you they can't fix it because it makes no sense to charge you that much to fix it.
Honestly... the ipod docks are a huge scam. They are way overpriced, underpowered and sound like crap compared to a real bookshelf system and computer speakers. Do yourself a favor, go to futureshop and pick up a $99 set of altec lansings and you'll be much happier.
Hi, I don't know if this will help you but it helped me collect money from a company that gave me the run around. Go online with the better business bureau and file a complaint. They will send Apple a copy of your complaint and give them the option of paying you. Believe it or not most big companies care about their reputation with the BBB. A lot of people check with them before doing business with a company. Give it a try and good luck.
