Avangate order !!
I bought a product using Avangate services,
My order has been placed as "pending" for 4 days,
i Haven't got my Software, The software editor haven't got his money, And avangate support still don't answer to my 5 emails.
I sent them 5 Emails and they don't want to reply,
The order still "pending" and they don't want to accept my money.
I called paypal and they confirmed me i made NOTHING wrong,
NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!

Wanted to verify my info
This "company" wanted me to send them copies of my credit card statements AND a copy of a photo ID (DL or passport) so they could verify my identity. A photo copy of my passport...REALLY? This is totally unacceptable in my view. There is no way in the world i'm sending anybody a copy of my passport! They've held up a perfectly legitimate purchase from a well respected vendor that I have done business with before. Needless to say that if I am ever aware that my purchase will be handled through this outrageous group of idiots I will find another way to pay. Avoid these people at all cost!

I have been charged 29.95 USD + fee .86 =NZ $ 35.17 for programme that I do not have nor want. This charge appeared on my Visa account on the date 5 July 2014. I get an email from them stating they had charged my bank account $32.32 for IObit System Care v6 (Avangate) for a 'new' subscription on 10/19/2013. Stated processing my sales from November, 2012 through my own recruited affiliates and vendors. Funds accumulated till November, 2012 was 1813 USD. The time when I was about to receive my payout on 15 th December, 2012, I received an email from AVANGATE to give access to my product. I sold a full version Antivirus Software and there was no trial offer. Customers had to pay in order to access the product. I told them that there was no license key and it was a full featured software that I was selling and it would not be possible for me to give them the access to my full featured software. Two days before the payment date they sent me a mail telling me that my account has been closed and funds would be held for 180 days (to avoid charge backs and refunds) and then released. I contacted them on 30 the April, 2013 and asked for the funds release date. CATALINA AVRAM emailed me back telling me that funds would be released on 16 th June, 2013. till date all sales are intact, customers are happy with product and support. Right now I am using FastSpring as they are the best. Since last three weeks I had sent 4 email to AVANGATE SUPPORT to inform me the amount which would be sent to bank on 16th June, 2013, which is OBVIOUSLY 1813 USD, but till date no reply. I assume that now they are trying to avoid my emails and steal the money which is rightfully, lawfully mine.Toady I have sent them my last email and waiting for the reply. In the meantime I have also contacted my lawyer, who is my DAD, and we are ready to file a case against them but we are waiting latest till 18th June, 2013 for the funds to arrive. I see the a lot of complaints from the customers who purchased through AVANGATE and that is really bad. They might be a big company or so, but I am also ready to play hard balls with them if they try to cheat me. 1813 USD for an Indian is a big money and I will not lose it. And when i mean NOT its is really a NOT. Would be waiting for their reply as well for my funds.

Two days ago, I purchased a 7 day trial for a file downloader called" Media Finder" (now, even the initials sound like a scam).After downloading the program - which was billed via, " Avangate B. V"., I found that it can't find any files at all. Also I was immediately hit with spam pop-ups and my spyware programs went crazy blocking malware attacks. Attempting to contact customer support is impossible as no-one responds. Then I receive an email saying that I will be automatically billed for a full version update and when attempting to cancel it out - nothing happens. Readers beware - this is a scam. They charge you over double for what you pay for the 7 day trial offer if you attempt to cancel afterwards as a "processing fee".The trail of different company names associated with this group is also a give away.
Was charged 19.95 twice for product that I never ordered

They do it by not confirming your order or confirming your cancellation or requested changes. I was charged $19.95 on my credit card for renewal that I did not authorize and I did not order the date charged 11-12-12 reference #8684 plus a charge .59 for foreign transaction fee. I purchase Bitdefender Total 2013 yesterday then I looked the status of my order online and it said that was pending.
I contacted Bitdefender company (Avangate - guy from Romania) and they gave me a trial software until I get the right product.
Later in the afternoon I get an email asking for a copy of my ID and the billing address so I wrote to them asking if they are crazy because I'm not sending my information to God know where...and more that the guy that I talked to wasn't even in USA and I paid with paypal so I don't have to have headaches like this.
Today I checked my order and it was gone.
HORRIBLE COMPANY! Don't buy this product because it's too much headache for the price.

Charged $19.95 for renewal of product I did not originally order or wish renewal of
I received an e-mail yesterday that I was charged by Avangate with order #[protected] for a renewal of 1x Advanced SystemCare Pro v5 and they debited $19.95 from my Chase checking account, they did this also last year and I was able to contact them and get a refund after many weeks, but now there is no one that will refund this as when I called the Avangate phone number [protected] and talked to "Ann Marie" I was told I ordered this product and I told her I did not and she fought with me on this and said it was a renewal I requested and I finally said I just wished a refund and for the automatic renewal to stop, she said she would send an e-mail to Iobit requesting my refund and would send me an e-mail confirming this refund was coming and the the renewal was stopped. I then received an e-mail from Iobit saying they received a request and I had to contact them via an e-mail address to confirm I wished this refund, I tried to and the e-mail was bounced back to me and they never and cannot receive it, I then called Avangate again and was told that they would send another e-mail and that they had stopped the renewal but could not give me a phone number or give me a supervisor or send me an e-mail themselves of anything they had done and did not give a reason, I then received another e-mail from Iobit again confirming I had asked for a refund and could not contact them and it told me to contact them with the same inaccessible e-mail. Credit Card being charged without consent

On July 5th, 2012, I have agreed to purchase the TRIAL version of media finder (order no. #[protected]), which states for 7 days for USD4.95. Since I did not find it useful, I have opted to delete the software from my laptop, though i find it strange that the icon still appears and can be access.
Little did I know, you will automatically put me on FULL subscription, which in my opinion, what is the purpose of having a TRIAL version then.
Secondly, only recently I found that the charge of USD69.95 was made automatically on July 12th, 2012, instead of billing me the invoice, which I would then have the option not to accept.
Hence this is deemed unethical, as it implies that you keep my credit card security details. For your information, I have also liaised with the Bank issuing my credit card (Maybank) and relay the matter.
I truly appreciate that you refund the amount billed and resolved the matter immediately.

We're intrigued by your statements concerning this issue, which is why we're going to take you through a step-by-step review of your purchasing experience.
On July 5th you've accessed the Media Finder website in order to purchase a trial for the "Media Finder Full Premium Year Subscription". Once you have reached the billing form, after putting in your billing details but right before you reached the section of the page requesting for the payment credentials, you were shown the following highlighted message:
"Your 7-day trial lasts until July 12, 2012.
If you do not want to continue using this product/service, you can cancel the new license purchase before the trial ends and you will not be charged (we will email you 5 days before the trial ends to remind you). Otherwise, you will automatically pay 69.95 USD to continue using without interruption the product/service."
Underneath this message there was the section dedicated to receiving your payment credentials which you provided in order to make the payment. As soon as the payment was processed you have been automatically redirected to a Media Finder Thank You page where you have been provided with your licensing details, a step by step guide on how to use the service and - at the Cancellations and Refunds section of the page - the following information "If you decide you do not need this service during your trial period, go to Cancel Account within the time limit of your trial and you will not be charged for any further account extension.". Furthermore, on July 7th you have been sent an email with the subject "Trial of Media Finder Full Premium Year Subscription - Automatic billing notification " which (among other details) it clearly and explicitly stated the following:
"Your trial will expire on July 12, 2012. On that date, Avangate will
automatically attempt to charge your Visa/MasterCard/Eurocard account
with the full value of this product/service (69.95 USD), in
accordance to the http://mediafinderpro.com/thankyou.php Terms &
Conditions that you agreed with when you placed the trial order.
Please make sure that enough funds are available in your
Visa/MasterCard/Eurocard account, so you can continue using Media
Finder Full Premium Year Subscription without interruption."
Taking the above given details into consideration we consider that all necessary steps were taken to make sure you are fully informed about the service you are subscribing to, as well as the billing mechanisms associated with it. Nevertheless, your refund request has been relayed to the Service Provider (http://media-finder.net) on August 3rd and a positive resolution has been received by Avangate on August 7th. As a result, the full refund in the amount of 69.95 USD has been issued on the same date and you have been sent a written confirmation of this operation by email. We're expecting for the transaction to be completed within the next couple of days.

Selling pirated software
Smart Tweak Avangate is a company selling installations and rights to download programs with license. I downloaded software and paid for it $7. I tries to install it but without any result. Ok, $7 not too much. But after a month they take additional $30 for using this fake program. SCAM!

I would like to respond to your letter by asking why the option you have provided Media Finder in your most recent communication is not presented to customers on your website.
For once again you provide me with a direction to cancel. Again, I attempted to use the direction you do provide for those wishing to cancel. Avangate states:

I followed Avangate’s advice again and, as before, it took me to a page that did not provide the cancellation option.
This is not merely frustrating but appears an intentional attempt by Avangate to prevent the client from exercising their contractual right to cancel. Avangate does this by initiating the shift from a 7 day trial to an annual full membership a day or more before the stated change-over date. Having announced to the client that this change-over is in motion, they then prevent the client from informing Avangate that they wish to terminate.
Media Finder is provided with an email address so that they can inform Avangate whether or not they will enable clients to cancel their accounts. The client is left waiting while Media Finder decides.
Whether or not Media Finder and those businesses using Avangate are aware of this process I cannot know. Given the the appreciable difference between Media Finder's charge for the trial period (AUD 4.97) and the charge for the annual service (AUD 70.18), the businesses using Avangate may well know and accept what Avangate is doing. For clearly Avangate and their affiliates would benefit if the client did not protest and simply paid up.
However, the process adopted by Avangate is fraudulent in that it states contractual conditions that Avangate does not keep. As a consequence those businesses using Avangate fall in their shadow.
The business concerned in this instance is Media Finder. I found it an excellent service and would recommend it to those seeking educational resources across a wide range of subject areas. I would consider rejoining Media Finder but only if it dissolves its relationship with Avangate, or if Avangate makes a public apology and alters its procedures.
I have chosen to make use of the email address Avangate has provided to Media Finder to bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion, for which reason I have CC’d Media Finder so that they are in no doubt of my position, a position that many other people have had to face because of the deceptive behaviour of Avangate. after paying for avangate support and reading past customers complaints I decided not to download their software and tried to cancel the order. Trying to get a link in order to get through to my account was impossible as i was given a complicated 80 symbol code( which they changed every 24 hours)in order to access a password .This did not work.I am now in a position where I am going round in circles and not being able to get a refund or cancel any future standing orders. I would advise anyone to steer well clear of this company.

Not only that you were provided with the means to cancel this renewal through Media Finder, but you were provided with the option to login to Avangate's MyAccount and change it yourself. There was nothing hidden from you, everything was in clear sight, in the most important email sent regarding your purchase - the email with the license key.
Moreover, please note the fact that Avangate sent an email as a reminder regarding this automatic renewal, 5 days before the actual payment. We have notified you of the date and amount of the charge and you were also presented with the option to cancel the automatic payment.
The original order was placed on the 13th of June and the automatic order was placed on the 20th of June - which makes the billing date the 7th day of the trial. In some cases, for special products sold by other vendors, the billing date for a subscription may be a day before expiration to ensure the fact that the subscription is continuous - but this is not the case here.

refusal to acknowledge funds recieved
i happened to be out of the country, so for some reason, my credit card wasnt being accepted online. i tried to purchase software off the retinax website through avangate. and was mailed details through which a wire transfer could be effected. i wired said funds to avangate bv 3 weeks ago. my bank has confirmed to me that the recieving bank has indeed recieved the funds. but avangate insists that it hasnt recieved it . even though i mailed a copy of the telex to [protected]@avangate.com to reconfirm. i havent recieved the software i ordered, avangate still claims funds are yet to be recieved and thus order is incomplete. dont understand what exactly is happening. #order: [protected].

Poštovani, dana 14.03.2011. godine tražio sam detaljnu navigacijsku kartu Republike Hrvatske za moj mobilni navigacijski sustav TARGA PNA-E3530. Tako sam došao na spornu stranicu media-crawler i oni su me tražili da platim 1, 52 EUR za jednokratno pregledavanje a također sam odmah da ne želim pregledavanje za više puta. Nažalost oni traženu navigacisku kartu nemaju i time sam završio pregledavanje i zatvorio stranicu na internetu Ništa nisam kupio, ništa skinuo na računalo i to sam platio 1, 52 EUR-a. Dana 21.03.2011. godine neugodno sam iznenađen time da me tvrka Avangate*media-crawler tereti za 1, 52 EUR+53, 54 EUR-a. Ništa nisam kupio, ne trebam kupiti niti sam nakon 14.03.2011. otvarao spornu stranicu. Nisam dao pristanak da mi se s računa MC 543778 skine još 53, 54 EUR-a. Smatram to neovlašteno otuđivanje mog novca sa mog računa bez mog pristanka, za neizvršenu uslugu i nepostojeću robu. Problem sam prijavio mojoj banci Zagrebačka banka d.d. Virovitica, Croatia i trežim povrat otuđenih sredstava u iznosu od 53, 54 EUR-a.

I was having trouble with my computer and Driver Support. So I searched the web and came across AVANGATE. They said I had 12 Drivers not right, and one was missing. I had Norton. They told me to cancel it out. I explained to them, that I was 62 (now), disabled and knew nothing about computers. I said all I did was read my mail-never junk, and go to Face Book once in awhile, and pay some bills. Well my paper work stated it was on June 24, 2014. My husband has retired and we bring home around $2500.00 a month. He has to pay insurance, life insurance for him so I won't have nothing, etc. We are also raising our grand-daughter. When I tried to write them and ask them what they did, support@techliveconnect.com (with AVANGATE), they did not respond back. I have written 3 letters and heard nothing. I have paid $500.00 which I am just sick about. I had to put it on my charge card. When I tried to write them, I did say for $500.00, I would like to know if my computer is covered for viruses, back up files, etc. They will not get back to me. I have had mental problems in the past, seizures, can't drive, and my husband is suppose to be my representative. Oh how I hate myself. You have no idea. They told me how to get the key for Driver Support and give it to them, and when my daughter helped me, they canceled me and there was no stopping them. $500.00 for what? I told them since they canceled me out, I wanted my money back. They said they only allow 4 days for returning. Please Help Me. I honestly don't know what happened. After AVANGATE got through with my PC it took from 30 min. to an Hour for it to load up. I tried to get back in touch but they blocked all the numbers so I had to get Guru aid to fix it for me. I would like a refund thank you LC Johnson, Kelton@Camtel.net

what can i do against them and asking for a refund ?
