Roth IRA
I am 60 years old woman and I requested my roth IRA. I sold it and they want me to charge 49.95 for closing my account. I transfer my roth ira from etrade several years ago and etrade did not charge me anything and now Merrill Edge wants to charge. There is nothing on its fees chart that disclose these unknown fees.

Formal complaint filed against me by boa employee/associate
On August 24, 2021, I received a letter on Bank of America (BOA) letter head. There was no office identifed as to where it was produce and had no name or signature on the letter. It was dated August 19, 2021 and was mailed from Phoenix, AZ via UPS. It is a very harsh letter that accussed me of verbal and physical abuse to a BOA employee/associate. One of the actions taken was termination of one of two of my BOA credit cards ending in 2332. The letter threatened criminal legal action if the abuse continued. Contact with my local BOA branch where I bank in Chesapeake, VA lead me down a path of we can not help you that was on August 26 and by e-mail on and by phone call on September 2, 2021. The letter implied that I was not authorized to be in any BOA financial centers or offices and that contact with BOA Customer Services was no welcome by phone calls. I was directed to file written information to a Dallas, TX office entitled Customer Correspondence. I'm a little baffled about your procedures in handling a case of this nature. Your system has charged me, tried me, found me guilty, and set punishment to include termination of my other BOA accounts. This is a case of you have no say so in this matter. You are quilty as charged because someone said so. When do I have a chance to be heard? I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot your employee/associate would be given an opportunity to defend themselves. This looks like a parallel to "Black Balling". I am preparing to close all my accounts with BOA as requested. It will put a strain on me over the next 30 to 60 days and my credit scores my suffer somewhat I am sure. As a final not, I don't believe I was verbally abusive to anyone and as far as the physical abuse charge goes I'm at a loss of words on that one. I think your current procedures in handling a case of this nature are somewhat one sided.
Desired outcome: Just trying to understand.

Fraud
I am a victim of fraud at BOFA. It all began on 8/9/2021. My phone was acting weirdly. My daughter contacts me daily with a message on my phone. No message on that day, so I try to contact her. Not able to send. I entered my e-mail acct. And got flooded with crazy e-mails. I thought something is wrong. I called Verizon, and indeed I was a victim of stolen identity. Someone in Mesquite, TX went to a Verizon store bought a new sim card for my account and for a short period of time had access to my information. I filed a report with Verizon and they gave me the information where this was taking place. I live in Florida and Massachusetts (snowbird).
I immediately looked at my online banking and my funds were depleted. Almost $16, 000! I am a retired 76 yo woman who has never been to Texas. The information is all there. The banks they went to deplete my accounts! The Verizon store in Mesquite, TX. Aren't there cameras at banking institutions? I reported this within 24 hours of the theft.
BOFA is denying my claims, saying I authorized the withdrawals. I did not! I never was anywhere near the banks they walked into. What kind of investigation did they do to determine that? I am elderly and not in the best of health. I feel like I am being a victim twice. The thieves and BOFA. I can't ask to see footage of the cameras at Verizon (Mesquite, TX), or Banking centers in Texas, Rockwall Town Financial Center and Preston Lakes Financial Center. Both BOFA. BOFA can. They want proof from Verizon. Really try to get that proof! I have sent, what I have, a statement that something may be going on with my Verizon acct. Yes, something was definitely going on.
Fraud dept. They found things on my account I did not make.
The Friday Dept. Call me and said there were things on my account that they knew I did not purchase. I am a 71-year-old lady and do not understand a lot of this. So I would appreciate any help you could give me. I need my money I'm on a fixed income social security.
unemployment
on feburary 12 i was issued a permanent credit for 2955 dollars n hasnt been put into my account and till this day it still hasn been put into account.missimg credit has ben filed etc n nothing has been done i want my credits back into my account along with the 320 missing credit from august 9 2021
Desired outcome: i want my funds back n the bank to have to pay for the emotional distress the have put me n my son in
Checking account
My account, which I owned by my self was closed in March due to suspicious activity in my daughter's account (I was secondary). 4 checks were supposedly mailed to me 4 weeks later. I only received 3. I was told to call back in 91 days if I didn't get it. I called back on the 91st day and was told I needed to wait 120 days. I called back at 120 days. I was told a checked could be issued through my local bank within 2 days of the 120 days. I called back to verify that method had been approved and was told a check could be mailed USPS to the bank for me to pick up. Why would I take an extra step if the outcome isn't going to be better? Now I have to wait another 7 to 10 days before my check is mailed. Your staff does not provide consistent information. I even spoke with a supervisor (Rufus) who was of no assistance either.
Desired outcome: I want my check today!
Incompetent customer service providers and rude
We contacted customer service to argue that they charged us late fees and interest within the payment period of that time frame to pay our credit card bill. They indicated that the time on that date was later than their standard time(east coast time) and therefore was considered late, although it was on the same day and we live in the mid west (one hour later). The refused to take off the excessive late charge and interest cost stating that they couldn't take off those excessive fees as it was company policy.
I have been a member since 2007(14 years) and never had a late payment. This didn't matter to the customer service rep. I hear that Bank of America is a "WOKE" company and gives or sells customer private information on its customers to the Federal Government. I cancelled my credit card from this anti-American institution
Customer service
Five months ago, I was restricted to use online banking and anyone over the phone could not discuss with me why my bank account was closing and that I needed to go inside the branch. I was told I received two counterfeit checks therefore my account was no longer active. I specifically requested to pick up my funds inside the branch. The next day, bank of America sent me a cashiers check and sent it to my California general delivery mail but I needed it to be sent to my address in Nevada where I was expecting the mail to be forwarded. I have been without my money ever since then stranded out here in Nevada because my wallet was stolen with my cash in it, my unemploymment card, my walmart money card and my ID was sent to social security to order a new social. I am still waiting on my check, it has been a nightmare, bank of America said the check was returned to them and they said that I had to wait 121 days before they send it out again, very frustrating experience, it really is.
Desired outcome: To have my money
[protected]@yahoo.com
My unemployment payment (Month of May 2021) from state of California has not been posted into my account. I have been calling [protected] since 06/2/2021 almost daily, get transfer to other department, I explain my issue, they make all kind of promise to help me get this matter resolved and as of this date 8/4/2021 still no resolution. I have filed a compliant with BBB, consumer protection agency and no one has been able to help. I am considering the following:
1- Contact news media (TV and radio stations)
2- File law suit in court
3- Share my experience in social media
Hoping this will get some one attention in BofA
Sincerely
Jamshid Hajimomen

Trust
I am retired from BOA with over 30 years length of service. I was always loyal to the back and always gave more time and effort than would have been expected. All my banking is with BOA.
I started banking with the bank in 1963 prior to employment (Citizens & Southern in SC).
I contacted BOA and was told that in order to handle my estate trust, it would have to be $1 million or more. A local bank is more than willing to set up the trust for me. I believe that BOA should be as loyal and accommodating as retirees were to BOA.
My mortgage, equity line, two credit cards, IRA, checking, and investment account are at BOA and even after 30 years, I am told go somewhere else for your last account in this life.
I really am not expecting anyone to respond to me as things are not handled now the way they used to be handled. Apparently it is now just a numbers game. Gary M McCall, South Carolina
Desired outcome: I do not know what to expect from my bank, anymore.
My accounts were closed
In the month of June 2021 I deposited a check from my job in the amount of $1500 to my savings account. Instead of deposit in my account the $1500 the bank deposited $15000 and then retired $15000. When I saw my account was in negative. I called to the claims department and they closed all my three accounts: checking, savings and business account. As today I didn't received my money from my savings or checking account. During the months of June and July I was unable to pay my monthly bills including my monthly rent. I need to understand what is happening since I was a client from Bank of America since 2013.
Claim dispute/customer representatives
I have been dealing with a claim dispute for an invalid charge. I have spent hours on the phone, walked into a branch with my supporting documents and still no resolution.
My experience with the call center representatives has been poor to say the least.
I would like to have my calls reviewed and my claim resolved. If someone with corporate authority can contact me to discuss further that would be great!
Desired outcome: Resolution
Checking/saving account

So, I called the bank to double check with the fax number and they provided me with this number: [protected] to fax it in and I did and it's not reopening up my claim still. Lack of Curtesy and Service
Called the Centreville Finance Center today to inquire on process for purchase of foreign currency. The individual who identified as Debby Ha was rude, would not answer any questions. I was told to go on line. Explained I did not have a computer and was told "you obviously have a phone, use it"and hung up. Attempted to call back 4x each time call was picked up and immediately hung up.
