ladies purse
I recently bought a ladies purse from bata store at hoshiarpur punjab in February 2019. Started using it only in June. And to my utter surprise the strings of the bag have started wearing out in just 2/3 months. I use it in office and it is embarasssing to take the bag to office now. The rubber border on the hand strings keeps on hanging and coming off. I used to trust Bata but now I feel I made a mistake buying this bag. Kindly advise as to how to return it. Cheaper quality bags last longer than this. Bata purses have highly disappointed me.
poor customer service
I am not able to reach bata customer service at all. The mail id customer.service@bata.com is full and cannot acccept any mail the toll free number is either not reachable or they do not pick. I had applied for cash refund the product (through a feedback call from bata but not able to contact them back) was picked up but i haven't got any confirmation and i'm not able to contact them and the refund is not initiated too.

Bata online service is quite pathetic and I would recommend people never to purchase any article from them. I have emailed more than 10 times to exchange it but no reply from them. I have tried calling them many times but no one takes calls for 10-15 mins. Most disgusting and unreliable brand. Save your time and energy by not purchasing anything from them. People have work to do and not sitting jobless to keep calling their stupid customer care.

I have placed the exchange order for shoes. But product is not available, so customer care executive told me they will refund the amount. I have shared the bank details on 8th July but still I have not received the refund. Order number is [protected]. Request you to look into this matter at the earliest. Everytime I called the support number, the executive tell that the concern is under process, but I don't understand what kind of processing you are doing here.

I had called up the customer care. The call center executive promised me that they will give promised 50 loyalty points, but when I called them up today they are saying that they cannot give. My complaint number is 1533098. I have called them up for more than 5 times, but these people have not resolved the issue. Please do not become cheaters or issue false promises. I have not received refund for return of bata shoes on 29th march 2018
I have received sms / call from Bata informing me that Bata had processed my Refund on 31st July 2018
But after 12 month also, I have still not received Refund,

bata - loyalty points not given
I was provided false information, that while shopping at a Bata store, points can only be redeemed in multiples of Rs. 50. Fact is that we can redeem any number of points above Rs. 50. I lodged a complaint on phone and email. They promised me that I will be given LPs but it is now more than two weeks and I still have not got any LPs. Every time I call them they say that I will get the 50 promised Loyalty Points but till now I have not got any points. This is cheating on behalf of Bata. Request you to please issue promised LPs. This is very bad of Bata.
the shoe received online for my prepaid order

I went to nearby Bata store Kundanahalli main road. pincode 560037. They happily said since they do not have my respective size I could place my order online via the store itself. As a prepaid order and they will ship me the correct size. After two days what I receive is even bigger size. Now following up with the customer care is pain in the neck literally. They do not any proper means to track the order properly. Despite providing all details what so ever I could collect they did not offer what solutions they will provide me. Such a waste of time and money

Nothing about the quality or price, my concern is about the counter staff who I felt was quite rude inspite of me being polite. I made a purchase of 7575/- after discount around 16:10 today 30th September.
I had a good mind to cancel my purchase due to the tone and attitude of your counter guy at the billing but did not because the staff who helped me get the shoe size.

pair of leather shoes purchased for rs.1499/- developed defect i.e. leather upper and sole of one shoe gave in / got separated
I purchased a pair of shoe on 13.02.2018 vide invoice no. cm3069170016276 dated 13.02.2018 for rs.1499/- (article name hsn code - 8516288080 edgar).
One of the shoe developed major defect and its sole from the front has given way i.e. leather upper and its rubber sole got separated from the front side.
I visited the same bata showroom in Faridabad (Haryana) on 09.05.2018 and brought the defect to their notice and requested for its replacement as it is with in the warranty period of 90 days. Showroom kept the said pair of shoes with them and issued acknowledgement (scan copy enclosed).
I brought this matter for the first time to the notice of bata customer care vide my mail dt.10.05.2018 with the request to exchange the damaged pair of shoes as it was a major manufacturing defect and had occurred during the warranty period of 90 days. Since then I had written mails dt.14.05.18, 15.05.18, 18.05.18 and 22.05.18 but without any result.
As the pasting of the shoes given way / did not last even for the warranty period of 90 days, it tantamount to major manufacturing defect and needs to be replaced only. When the factory pasting did not last even for 90 days any amount of pasting / repair work got done locally would not work.
When bata is not attending to the grievance of the customer and responding positively even during the warranty period, how it would take care if this problem reoccur after the warranty period of 90 days. Hence repair of the shoe which has developed defect during the warranty period of 90 days is not acceptable to me and request to get the same replaced.

Purchased a pair of Bata Marie Claire women's shoes from amazon on 29 Oct 17.
Both soles started to come off in the third month of wear and the shoe was unwearable by mid Feb.
Wrote to Bata on the 27th day of February regarding the poor and deplorable quality of shoes they are selling off as premium and their suggested solution.
However the consumer care of Bata India did not reply showing the apathy they have towards their Indian customers.
I have therefore decided to stay away from Bata and am advising all of my friends and family not to buy Bata products.
I am now working to raise consumer awareness about companies like Bata who take the Indian consumers for a ride and get away.

I am writing regarding dissatisfaction with the boots model BT 894-6197.
On 17th February 2017 in Novi Sad shop...in Markator shopping centre, I purchased a pair of boots model BT 894-6197.
From the day of purchase till the beginning of summer I put them on a couple of times and didn't wear them till November. At the end of November I noticed the sole on both boots was ruptured.
On 8th December 2017 I submitted the complain latter in the shop where I made the purchase and a couple of days later I received the rejection letter with a very strange explanation.
I just want to mention that I wore these boots in the city from home to work and back and I did not encounter any "abrasive surface".
In my opinion such a way of dealing with Bata's customers is harmful to the reputation of the company.
Till now I have never had any problems with Bata footwear so I have made a decision to contact the management first in hope to resolve this issue to mutual satisfaction.
I would to like to get a new pair of boots or a refund if it is less complicated.
The second option would be initiating proceeding before court.
Please find attached purchase receipt, the photo of the boots and the rejection letter.

This is to inform you regarding faulty product I got from the bata store 9 months back. I had got a bata shoes on 1st april 2015. This shoes were the best shoes I had ever purchased from bata and so I use to wear it very occasionally only for corporate events. But today I see that the soul of this shoes have come out suddenly.
According to the terms and conditions mentioned by the shopkeeper, the shoes are under the warranty guarantee period, and so I am writing this letter to get an positive response and do the needed action.
Kindly requesting you to be positive and keep me posted and investigate my case with proper judgements.
The service from the company is not good and henceforth I can surely claim that the quality of Bata products have lost. And I will henceforth make sure that I will never buy any products from Bata because of poor quality and make.

We have purchased one Bata Ladies Shoes 2 months Back from Hyderabad. 2 times it has broken. Now the store refused to return the shoes. Why people will take Bata shoes if it will damage within 2 months. It will be better to take footpath shoes. The manager told you go and complain in customer care. We don't care.

Hello I am writing for order id: [protected]. I placed this order on 12 Jun from my mobile app with Coupon code: GCKSG9ACEN for pin: 411027.in Bata website it is showing that the order is shipped. After few days I enquired with Bata customer care and they gave me the same information, then I called "Javas" and asked about the item they said item was returned on the very next day 13 Jun.
Then I made one complaint with bata, Complaint no: 424399. Now today (30/06/2015) I got one call from Bata saying the order will be cancelled and I should place a new order but the coupon code will not work and I will have to pay extra Rs500/- for your mistake and there is nothing bata will do.
After waiting 18 days this is the service I get from Bata. I work in a private company I know about technical problem but the way Bata handled the problem is just unacceptable.
You might ignore this mail but you will surely loose one trusted customer. This is not a sustainable way to treat customers.

I purchased Hush Puppies Shoes Article No.8246936 Size 1 vide Cash Memo No.1708 from your Shop No.1813 at Phase No.2, Spencer Plaza, Chennai 600002 on 17th May, 2015.
Within one week of usage the shoe laces on the right leg started wearing off and the outer cover got completely peeled off in less than 3 weeks time. Today, I went to your store from where I purchased asking for replacing the original laces with new ones and the salesman (He claims to be the manager of the store) by name Mr. Mukherji refused to change the same with another pair of original laces but offered with another substitute pair instead. When I opened the pair the length was shorter than the original and I refused to accept and insisted that he should replace with original laces, he responded arrogantly stating that it is not possible and I can complain to whomever I wish and that he is not bothered.
I feel such type of behaviors of your employees are highly unacceptable and would cause more harm to your brand, if left unattended. I have attached photographs of the sales person and also the shoe laces and would like you to advise the salesman to apologize for his behavior and also immediately advise the store to give me original replacement.
