poor resource management & poor monitoring of bus driver
I think Billion Stars has a very poor resource management and poor policy in monitoring its own bus driver. I will give the context of the journey.
The bus is supposed to depart at 7pm to Singapore but was not just late but was very late. Eventually, the bus driver arrived at around 8.30pm to pick up the passengers. However, the bus driver did not appear to know that he has another trip to pick up these passengers to Singapore. Some passengers spoke to the bus driver and he mentioned that he was very tired to drive again towards Singapore as he has just came from Singapore and it was a very congested journey. Due to safety reasons, he has stopped at Sri Kembangan to pick up a friend to accompany him the whole journey. The speed at which he was driving was very very slow. The bus departed at around 9.30pm but we only reach at Melaka around 11.30pm. The road was very clear and it is definitely not due to congestion.
At the Melaka stop, I think the bus driver is at fault here as he did not really care about the passenger and has chosen to have his supper. The whole bus was waiting for him until around 12am only we depart from Melaka. Again, the speed at which he drove was extremely slow and the road is definitely clear. We only reach Johor checkpoint at approximately 3.45am. Some passengers are supposed to be dropped off at Woodlands checkpoint. Instead, we were at Tuas link. Again, the bus driver went missing and the whole bus has to wait for him even though there was not much people at the checkpoint. We then depart Johor check point at around 4am. The best part is because now it is quite early in the morning, we then got caught in the jam with other people that are entering into Singapore for work. By the time we reach and clear Singapore checkpoint, it was already 5am. The bus driver ignored all drop off points. My drop off point was supposed to be at Kitchener Complex. Instead, we were all being dropped off at Golden Mile Complex.
The whole journey was extremely tiring for all the passengers and it was a Monday morning that we reach. Most of us have to go to work on the same day. I really hope Billion Stars consider this very seriously and take note on its own resource management to ensure that they do not send a bus driver that is so tired to drive a bus seater of 44 in any journey. Also, there should be an internal policy to make sure that the bus driver is also responsible and to prevent the bus driver to take his own sweet time and have everybody wasted their time and spent 10 hours in the bus.

Singapore to Malacca trip. The bus left all passangers not only our family in Johor, ruining all the holiday plan causing us need to stay one night in Johor due to no more buses to Malacca. Our hotel in Malacca also wasted one day. It was horrible due to irresponsible coach company. Since the bus left, we also lost our belongings in the bus.

I booked a bus ticket for 2 from Singapore going to Melaka. We were there around 5am since we were advised to be there 3omins before departure time. When 5:30 came, he just kept shouting "going to Melaka! going to Melaka!" We showed him our printed ticket and said we can go in. The bus looked different from the photo I saw when I booked the ticket. The seats are not as comfy and as big as the ones in the photos. THen, when we went in, the people just sat wherever they want. I booked a ticket with a seating arrangement. The guy (who manages the passengers) just told us to wait and he will find a seat for my friend and I. I went down the bus and I said this is not the bus that I paid for. THere was another couple who complained about the same matter. Seeing that there are still a few passengers waiting for another bus going to Melaka, we risked it and let the bus leave without us. After a few minutes, another bus came. This one has a comfy seat and looked like the one in the photo. So we boarded it, but again, we were told to just sit anywhere. I checked my seating arrangement, it stated 14 c 14 D.. but the bus only had numbers 1, 2, 3, 4... so, it was still a different bus. But then again, didnt want to miss the chance of having a comfy seat, so we went along with this one. And the time was already 6:30am.. I booked a 5:30am trip. Nevertheless, I am not booking in this company again. They didnt even check the tickets of the passengers at all!

i booked a ticket from singapore (golden mille complex)
to TBS at 7.15pm, reached the departure point and checked in with the staff at 6.40pm (as passengers are told to reached departure point 30 mins earlier), the staff (a chinese guy named Eng) just keep telling me to wait for the next bus as there is a massive jam at custom, i waited till 8.15pm, i saw a few buses to malacca and kuala lumpur while waiting, i asked another staff (Faisal) when is the next bus to TBS, i also asked the drivers and they finally told me there is no bus to TBS, i was very angry as the company should not put up bookings from singapore to TBS when there is no bus going to TBS in the first place, Faisal talked to the lady boss, they tried to arrange a transfer to TBS but they cannot give me more details about the transfer (where and when to transfer? which bus company? vehicle number?) I demanded a refund and Faisal told me it will be done in TWO working days, i will be waiting for the refund and if there is no refund, i will definitely lodge a complaint to consumer association for this kind of scam and misrepresentation.
delay in arrival of the bus
These guys delay their bus service by almost 2 hours. When asked at their office they say delayed because of traffic.
When I called a Friend to lived in the same location as the traffic zone mentioned by the Billions rep, he said there is no traffic jam.
Usually these guys cancel buses because there aren't enough passengers for a bus. If they're doing that, the least they can do is inform the passengers so that we don't need to sit out side their office for over 2 hours.
This is not the first time these guys have done this.

On 23/3/2018 bus reg no BND 9711 from Terminal Bandar Tasik Selatan departed to JB at 8.30 pm and it should drop passenger p at Larkin Sentral first.However, it went to Pasir Gudang bus station and drop passenger there and it was part of taking too much time.
On top of that the passenger seat 6A adjuster has problem in which I can lie on my body and it was really bad as I cant rest at all.
For sure I feeel dissatusfied with this bus service.Sucks.
lost of my baggage from jb larkin to tbs
I booked one round trip from TBS to JB Larkin. Yesterday morning l boarded Billion Star Express returned from Larkin to TBS at 10AM and some where in the middle of the journey, we have toilet break 10minutes before 1pm. As we returned at 1pm, we could not find the coach and the driver just left without me and my wife. We lost all our baggage, two on the seats and one big baggage below the coach cabin. Luckily, we met another coach driver number plate WSJ 8686 who was kind enough to take us back to TBS around 4pm. This is not acceptable and irresponsible to treat your customers and left them without checking them back.

Bua suppose to arrive at 7am, and now 6.30am we still in KL Area.
1. Bus is late for no reason. Like usual, lousy timing from this bus company.
2. Entry Door is malfunction! Very hard to open even open manually. Which is very dangerous to all the passanger if any accident happened! Immediate action should be taken.
3. Stop at open area for one hour nearby TBS with no reason. Suspect waiting for illegal passanger.
3. Rude arguing with one of the passanger. The passanger infront of me ask tbe driver why promised to depart (from tbs) at 3am, but 4.20am still havent depart. And what the driver replied was "you mau bawa keh?!" Very rude and irresponsible reply. And Im so shock is this the quality of your bus driver?
4. The driver give warning to one of the indian passager who try to make complain call to report about him. Treathening the passanger. And end of it, the passanger leave at TBS. He suppose to stop at Kuantan.
4. Smoking in the Cabin, while the non-smoking sign board is just infront of the driver seat. And not only once.
5. Lousy driver open internal light while driving, and its 5am in the dark morning while every passanger is resting. This action seem like a revenge action by the driver to passangers who complain him earlier.
6. Driver talk to himself, loudly, purposely to disturb passangers in the cabin. Sound like complaining passanger who make complaint about him. Very childish action by the driver.
JPJ & Bus Company should take strict action against the driver who against the law, to ensure the safety and basic satisfaction of passangers.

I bought a bus ticket from TBS Kuala Lumpur to Johor Larkin Station on February 2018.
1) I so disappointed this bus was delayed for one hour without notice and reason.
2) After departed from TBS for few meter, the bus driver stop the bus beside the road and smoking about 15 minutes.
3) I complaint their service in their FB, but the their response so rude like hooligan and deleted all the complaint comment from the FB. I already snapshot for further action.
4) My ticket destination is KL to Johor Larkin Station, but the driver send the other customers to Pasir Gudang before send us to Larkin, this is not bus express service!

On 26/01/2018 journey from TBS to Pasir Gudang ticket at 19:00, bus arrive at platform at 19:40 then boarding. After leave the platform, the driver stop ar behind shell in 15-20minutes for waiting illegal pessenger.
Question is:-
1) how did billion star arrange bus timing schedule? I find about timing every week, i use this public transport every week
2) why the last passenger did not boarding at TBS platform?

I have booked a return trip from 1 utama to Singapore golden mile complex on 21/01/2018 2.15pm.
When I arrived 1 utama transtar counter at 2pm. I was told by the counter lady, the bus will be delayed for one hour.
Fine. I bear with it.
And the bus before approaching Malaysia custom, requested us to transfer bus from one to another.
Never mind.
After we passed Malaysia custom.
He let random passengers get up to the bus to earn more for a single trip from Malaysia custom to Singapore custom.
The moment I trying to go up to the bus at Singapore custom, the driver scolded me for I not responding to his question "which bus you taking?" But I didn't even hear any question from him.
And then I was told by the driver to follow him.
Then I overheard he asked another bus sri maju to send us In, because the passengers aren't too much so they don't need to get in.

I bought two tickets traveling from 1 Utama Shopping Centre to Singapore on Dec 26, 2017.
The bus departed on time at 10:30 am, unfortunately the bus made two stops, one in main bus terminal in KL and another one is Johor Baru. I wasn't too concerned since I understand they have to pick up more passengers.
When we arrived in immigration check point in Johor Baru, no explanation was given as where to pick us up, so we just followed others from the bus.
After we have completed immigration checking, about 7-8 passengers, (all from the same bus) waited at the Platform A pick up point for 20 minutes and no Billion stars Express pulled in as we watched bus after bus went by us. We then proceeded to Platform B and saw no sign of any express bus either.
We then dragged our luggages back to platform A and was told the bus would come at some point. We waited for another 25 min.
After almost 1 hour of waiting in the loud, and crammed platform, breathing in thick exhaust fumes from line of buses, we gave up and took the "Bus Perkerja" across the causeway. We not only paid for the extra bus fees and then taxis fees from Woodland to my destination, not to mention the time wasted in waiting.
I am perplex in this situation. Is this a common occurrence? Is there a way to rectify this remedy?

I took billion star express bus in klang sentral around 9am... The ticketing counter lady said the bus will b straight to sungai nibong... But... It was not! This bus went to shah alam, pj, n ipoh mydin... This had dragged alot time here... The bus driver stopped at mydin ipoh for 20minutes some more that was arnd 1.30pm. Imagine we took bus at 9am n now its 2pm (5 freaking hours).. I rely feel pissed off wt ths billion star service... Add in more ths bus driver stoppped at roadside near ipoh to pick some 1... I seriusly doesnt hapy wt ths kind of service... As im in hurry for a urgent stuff in penang.. Spoiled my entire day!

Air cond badly broken.was scolded by driver for using curtain to cover up as it so cold blowing to my face. Asked me to use my shirt to cover up the hole and drop off me if I questioning him. Am I paying for this kind of service?
Still smart driver didn't low/adjust the air cond temp (use my own shirt to cover).
9am bus came late, and reach TBS 4pm. Change bus at senawang rnr under heavy rain. All d passenger wet and shivering, thanks to smart driver. An old man ask to go toilet also got scolded at rnr senawang while waiting to change the bus. Please improve your service and driver attitude.

I booked my bus ticket from 1Utama - PG through Easybooking. On 26th Dec, I arrived at front desk counter 2.15PM and given bus number plate WWA8866 for 2.45PM bus. I went off to toilet and came back on time. I sat back inside lounge area together with crowd of people gathered. After 10mins, I beginning to realize something amiss and found they are Spore bound passengers. I went back front desk. They told me PG bound bus left and will not U-turn as passed tol. Bad service by this bus company as:
#1 Left you behind without cross-checking those registered or make effort to call my hp# as filled inside Easybooking
#2 Left you stranded without assistance and choose to ignore you
#3 I did not get to sit the bus I paid for
Front desk admin names are Siti and Ah Boy. Please boycott this bus company.

The bus ticket I bought supposedly depart at 9am but the bus arrived at 10am. They late for almost one hour. And also the sit I bought has problem also. The staff service is worst also. All my schedule delay because of your bus delay! PLEASE TRY To improve your bus punctuality! Time is important for customers. Wait for your explanation about this issue
driver smokes in the cabin while driving.
I was boarding the bus (wxc 6644) from sg.Nibong to tbs recently and i found the driver smoking while driving and he also constantly turns and looks weirdly at female passengers and also constantly speaks on his phone. I find this hard to tolerate and he also teases female passengers.
I have always had a bad experience with this company from start not only because of the lousy service but also delay in departure time. Hands down the worst bus company available.

So I was on this one Billion Star bus which departed from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) at 3pm(note : it was supposed to depart at 2 but it was delayed) and apparently the driver took the old road to Penang instead of the usual highway to avoid traffic and he then went to look for a repair shop suddenly since there's a prpblem with the tyre. Then they exchanged passengers with another bus (to make it a direct only one trip to Penang and Buttetworth. Ok fine I had no problem)
The problem is when the second bus stopped working and we're stranded by the road side.
I'm QUESTIONING the company's acountability and responsibility of ensuring whether their buses were serviced before a trip. It's been long hours yet it seems as if we're nowhere near our destination. Please just please make sure you checked, double checked, triple checked your buses before starting a journey rather than to make the passengers felt anxious of having to wait go through this uncomfortable ride.
worst bus ever
The bus i had was older than secondary school bus . I bought a side view seat but in the end the driver demand me to change my seat for a 'couple'(solo seats were full) and arranged people not according to seats bought . The worst part is the aircon was not functioning properly everyone was sweating from Penang to KL . Imagine how torturous the journey was, i can barely breathe . How can they allowed this bus to fetch passengers . This company should be banned . (Not including the delays since almost every busses delay ) . The bus number is 8099 if i remember correctly Monday 18th of December 2017 1.30pm from Sungai Nibong Penang to KL .

I have important meeting on date 18/12/2017 start at 7.00pm so I have planning with your lousy time table and think I will reach around 12.00am then my friend will fetch me back home to take a rest. Now I reach my home around 2am I only have few hours to rest how can I take full concentration on my presentation?
For this mistake please give your customer at least the real time that your lousy bus can reach on the time, not keep telling us only delay 30min and keep going to add on till delay 2hours.in additional, let your customer know and arrange any refund for customer and let them change bus. Because for us time is money
