I am a Boscov credit card holder, ordered Christmas items on December 28, 2024, totaled $64.62 well above the $49 free shipping requirement. I got a phone call today from Boscov's saying if I don't pay a $19 shipping fee they will cancel my order. I explained I am retired and on a fixed income and could not really afford the $19. I never had that happen before. The lady called back later with a reduced fee of $15 which I agreed to since I still wanted the items in my order. Is this fee legitimate? Is it a scam? Could you look into it and get back to me explaining why the fee was necessary. If this is how Boscovs will do business, I am going to cancel my credit card after I pay it off.
Thank you,

Claimed loss: $15
Desired outcome: Drop the fee but proceed with the order

Follow-up - I wrote earlier today about this order complaining about an unfair shipping charge. Okay so now there's no shipping charge, yet only one red Santa hats and only one of the light bulb Santa hats are being shipped instead of the 15 I ordered. Yet, the same hats are still listed as available on the Boscov website.
None of the rest of my order is being shipped. What is going on here?
