Bought Zanzibar couches at bradlows Benoni princess avenue.promise date to deliver was today 17 September 18. I cancelled all my plans for the day waiting for them to deliver till 16:00pm I called the store to find out what's going on.. Phone engaged I called one of the guys cell phone number kg was his name..to ask whats going on he asked for my details and said will call me back... After waiting for 20minutes I called the store and a coloured lady answered I I told her my story... And her reply was ohhh sorry the "bakkie is broken it cannot deliver today " with no good manner of approach or any apology... She said Ill get "Dudu" to call you. Then phone cutted off due to my airtime finished.. Kg called back and said he passed on the message they will call me back, which I really appreciated cause he got back to asap. 45later Dudu called to apologize for "not delivering on time due to bakkie being broken " ... What irritates and makes me angry is if I hadn't called to find out whats going on NO ONE was going to notify me... I cancelled my plans for nothing cause believe you me we all working and it's not like I didn't have work to do... This store got a very bad customer service whereas I experienced the same bad customer service last year where I applied for credit it took 3weeks for them to send my application..thats when I went to the store to fetch back my documents cause clearly they doing nothing about them... Don't know why my mother chose them cause I know the store doesn't have good customer service...guess we gave them benefit of the doubt... And they have proven us right... Some thingz will never change... Bad customer service...

I bought couches at bradlows vermuleng street in Pretoria. The couches are cracking on its arm rest 2 weeks ago I called the store logging a complaint about the couch I was assisted Monica answered the phone and could not help me as I didn't buy the couch from her the person a bought the couch from Andries was off, she took my details and said she will give it to Andries to log the incident and call me of which she didn't today 14/09/2018 I call the store as I didn't revive any call or massage I asked to speak to Monica and she was the one who answered I asked her since I left a massage with her why was I not assisted she was so rude to me and I was sow surprised and shocked what Kind of customer service is this and I told her I would call head office and she said I can do that she does not care by the time I was speaking to her I putted her on loud speaker and I was with my colleague and we were so disappointed that as a brand like bradlows its own employees have no customer service and I would never shop again at a Bradlows store.
lay-buy, no stock on final payment. unprofessional conduct of manager
On 13 July 2018 we made a lay-buy for the Sienna 5 piece bedroom suite of which the total cost R13299.95. The sales assistant, Flora, was very helpful and professional. On this date we made a payment of R5000. On the 3 August we made another payment of R4000. Today we made the final payment of R4299.95. We were informed that the warehouse will phone for delivery arrangements. Flora enquired from the manager if there was stock available. We were in the front of the shop browsing because we were planning to purchase the rest of our furniture from Bradlows Somerset West. I could hear that there was an issue with the stock. Flora informed us that there is no stock available. Not once did the manager make an effort to explain the situation to us. I had to go to the back to enquire from her. Not once did she apologize. She just said that we can take something else or take the stock on the floor that is full of scratches, what an insult, shows you what she thinks of us. She also informed me that when you take out a lay-buy it does not mean that the stock is reserved. Other businesses reserve stock, why not Bradlows. I need to point out that the store manager is unfriendly, unprofessional and is tarnishing Bradlow's image. My question is why did they take the last payment? Flora phoned afterwards to apologize but she did nothing wrong. The manager just phoned now but I cannot interact with someone who treats customers like scum. I have indicated to her that I want my money back. I am very disappointed in Bradlows and will definitely take my business elsewhere. Brunhilde Hartnic

Good Day
I bought a 3 piece lounge suite from Bradlows Southgate in September 2017.
When the lounge was delivered in September 2017 it was torn and therfore taken back for repairs.
July 2018 I realised that the lounge was still damaged as it was changing colour even and was tearing and the arm rest on the small sofa was falling apart I logged a complaint and the lounge suite was collected on the 28 July 2018.
I was informed that the repairs process takes up to 15 days but 15 days lapsed and I did not recieve the lounge suite.
We have been sitting on the floor and my grandparents are elderly, My grandfather cannot walk and has been sitting on the floor due to the lack of service from the company. I bought a lounge suite for comfort and relaxation not for the stress that has come with
On the 6th of September 2017 the lounge was delivered but the quality of the lounge is shocking, a black cloth was used to stitch the areas that are tearing and the lounge has been damaged more.
We need to sit on the floor for more days due to the companies lack of honest and transparent customer service
I called Bradlows Southgate requesting to speak to the manager she took very long to come to come to the phone and there after had no sense of sympathy she did not even applogize for the matter, she was rude and has escalated my anger to the point that I have decided to refer the matter to the Furniture and Retail Ombudsman for assistance.
I have never in seen such shocking service in my life, I am having a party on 29th of September but will not have a lounge suite however every month I am paying for something which I do not have.
I have pictures of how the lounge suite looks now, please advise when I should forward those pictures.
I want a refund of the money paid to date and Bradlows can keep their bad lounge suite. I have not enjoyed the lounge since purchase date as it has been returned for repairs 3times.
And on purchase I was mislead and told that it was genuine leather however then Bradlows Southgate changes they statement and says its not as they know they have sold me a low quality product for over R30000 rand.

I bought a wardrobe from Bradlows City View Durban and when it was delivered to my house it was disassembled and I was promised that someone was gonna come with it and assembly it when its delivered. I am now sitting with pieces of this wardrobe of which I was not even aware that it was going to be disassembled when I bought it.

In April I bought a fridge and other furniture from Bradlows in Phoenix when the delivery came firstly they did not bring the fridge. After contacting them they then realized that they don't have stock . After a week they delivered a show room fridge wrapped in cling wrap and had alot of dents and scratches. Finally when they gave me a new fridge it was also dented . When I received the fridge I contacted the store but the manager was too busy to attend to my call. The delivery guy said he cannot wait for me to complain and I must take it up with the store. I then calles the sales lady who was sick at home and told her about my query she said when she gets back to work she will sort it out. It has been 5 months latet and each time I speak to her or visit the store she says the new fridge is coming . Today she had the audacity to tell me that I did not complain quick enough I have records of all the calls made she even went to an extent of telling me that I must do whatever I feel like doing and complain to whoever I want to. Her name is Navina from Bradlows Phoenix so please assist me as soon as possible as I am paying for something that is damaged and they just dont care. The store manager is even worse and has a pathetic attitude towards customers and complaints I cannot understand how he even qualified as a store manager.

On the 8th of July 2016 I had done a layby At Bradlows in Lephalale for a lounge suite; last year around June I then decided to cancel the layby before it even expired and I had already paid R2000. Now; since last year June After I had cancelled the layby I have been trying to request for a refund but still haven't received anything. Bradlows has been sending me from pillar to post with this issue still haven't received any payment.

By December they started making noise when you sit on and my mother told me about it and said to her it's just one couch she must not worry. Then by February 2018 they were all making this strange spring noise and just beside the armrest thers something like a hole. I then in March 2018 went to the shop to complain bt even today my mother is still sitting on those couches.

I signed a contract with Bradlows Tzaneen and I asked them to debit my account on the 25th of every month. I'm the 25th of June, I noticed that my account was not debited. I decided to make a manual payment on the 26th. Ti my surprise, my account was listed as overdue at Transunion. I requested for this to be rectified but it is the end of July and I'm still sitting with this problem. To make matters worse, Bradlows couldn't care less how this negatively affects me. I will never ever buy from Bradlows again. Not that my money makes a difference to them anyway. Worst service ever

Customer service at bradlows evaton plaza is really a bad. I bought a dining room suit which was advertised as coming with a free table. I received the dining room suit and not the free table. It's been over a months now waiting for the table. And they dont even call to let me know what's happening I'm the one who always has to go there and ask what is happening
lounge set order
Ordered a lounge set from Bradlows Chatsworth, a week later and I have still not received the lounge set. Keep being told that there still waiting for stock. How can the store advertise for a product that they do not have.
When they wanted the sale, I received a call every 10 minutes, now I have to call to check when the lounge set will be delivered. Absolutely unprofessional and pathetic service. When you phone the customer services department there is still another waiting period for them to attend to your complaint.

• Highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the service received at Bradlows/Morkels Pinetown, KZN
• In March 2017, I bought the Cambridge three (3) piece lounge suite from Bradlows/Morkels Pinetown, KZN and paid R21 999.95 in cash. It was claimed that they are genuine quality and would last for at least 5 years (warranty).
• Two months down the line the recliner on the three seater was not functional, I logged a call to have them repaired, they were collected and later returned after four weeks and they were still in the same condition. I decided not to pursue the matter due to the tediousness of the process.
• Beginning of June 2018 the WHOLE lounge suite started cracking and deteriorating out of control. On the 14th of June 2018 I logged another call to have the whole lounge suite repaired AGAIN. My family and I have decided that we now actually don't want the suite which has resulted in requesting the branch Manager of Bradlows/Morkels Pinetown to either give me a refund or give a voucher that I can use to get something else within the store.
• It is totally unacceptable for a product with a guaranteed warranty of five (5) years to be in such an appalling condition in less than two (2) years.
• Upon my request to receive a refund or a voucher, the branch Manager at Bradlows/Morkels Pinetown, is giving stories and excuses and not being helpful at all and I have requested him to escalate this matter to higher authority, as he was and is not being of any assistance with the matter at hand. Your urgent assistance to resolve the matter would be highly appreciated. As my lounge is currently empty.

It's with great regret and disappointment to inform you'll that my purchase of a Cambridge 3 pc suite which was delivered and returned due to quality defects on two occasions.
Good delivery and a complaint were logged with the sales rep in regards to the single piece having a defect on the arm and back rest (gap in-between in two), which in-convened me for approximately two month after making numerous number of calls only to find out the good have been credited for a new set has been submitted.
On 15/06/2018 a second set was delivered which disappointed me even feather reason being there are a number of defect on all three pieces, Which is listed on the CRM/ODITY complaints document from the delivery person which is found in attachment. Has a customer a followed protocol and once gain logged a complaint with my sale rep only to find out that the same principle apply which will in-convenience my family and I.
It's now world cup season and my family and I send a lot of time sitting around the television watching the games and having family time, it will be will be tremendously disappointing and once again an inconvenient to the family.
The lounge set have to be picked up for the second time. I humbly request the a quality assurance officer from GRAFTON come to my home inspect the product that have been passed is acceptable and I be compensated accordingly without inconvenience for the above highlighted mentioned.
Me being a paying customer of Bradlows feather request that the 3 piece Cambridge be credited in-order for me to pick a different brand which will hopefully be of better quality.

My name is Riaan Mosia and I bought a fridge from Bradlows East London (Fleet street). The fridge cost R8999 and I was charged R9999. Upon noticing the error I took it up with the branch and was told I should bring a copy of my id and bank statement so they would have details of where they should transfer the money to. I was then told I would be refunded within 2 weeks. It has now been over 3 weeks and I haven't received any feedback as to what is happening.

I deposited a bedroom suite at bradlows furniture on the 27 April 2018 at game city branch, Gaborone botswana.
A week later the good were delivered but Unfortunately the furniture didn't fit in to my bedroom hence we returned same day.
I must point out that the goods came on a Saturday late afternoon and the delivery men smelled of alcohol. They told me it's not their delivery and that they are doing some other delivery crew a favour.
I went back to the store and talked to one ms matshidiso who helped me initially, I wanted to replace the furniture but there was no other option is found hence settled for a refund.
After 2 weeks I called the store requesting information about the refund as I have submitted the bank details they had requested. Mrs matshidiso referred me to the store manager Mr moses. This man is rude I must say, no customer service at all. Not surprising he didn't help me in anyway.
I called the store after a week again and asked to escalate my query that's when Mrs matshidiso refused to give me any name or number I can call for assistance.
Fortunately I managed to get Mr khuwa number from another store, he was kind and he promised the refund with be done soonest.
Nothing materialised nd I called him again that's when he told me he is on leave and referred me to Mr kgari.
To this day I haven't received any information about my refund. I call every day and my sent from pillar to post.
I have now accumulated a telephone bill which I don't know if bradlows will help me settle.
There is very poor service at game city store and I think it all emanates from the store man. He is incompetent and has no face towards customers.
Can I therefore please have a clear answer with regard to my refund.?

I bought a television at the Bradlows Furniture shop at Mthatha Maderia Street on the 16 August 2017. Now I have a problem the volume of my Television is not working. And I visited at the shop on the 27/04/2018 to report my Television, they said that they were report on the Regional Office. On the 02/05/2018 I visited the shop to know what happened but I get nothing. Then on the 22/05/2018 they called me that they logged a call to report my Television they said that I need to wait a massage from Regional Office, I also waiting even today no nothing from my response please can you assist me about my Television

Two months ago my husband and I were window shopping for a lounge suite and went into bradlows in chatsworth, durban. The sales lady asked if we needed assistance and we responded that we were just browsing. On the 26 May 2018 we went back to the store forgetting that we were there 2 months earlier as we were interested in the Trent Lounge suite thats on special. we were approached by a friendly salesman and told him what we were looking for to place as a layby. The sales woman then comes and to where we were and aggressively speaks to the sales man and says to him that we are her customers which was not true. Her name is Ashina. Secondly when she assists us she is not clear on the lay-by process and many other things, however when we proceed to do the paperwork we were introduced to another grumpy Indian lady who was not welcoming at all. they were having several issues with the system when we wanted to place a layby amount. We left the store and said we will return the next day when the system was up and running.
We went back on the 27 May 2018 and much to our disappointment we were received again by the same unwelcoming woman who was extremely arrogant when we asked questions with regards to putting a deposit and which will drop the lay-by monthly installments. They were aggressive in their mannerisms as well as defensive when asked questions about speaking to some sort of management for clarity. A lady by the name of Amanda then came to us and said that if we were not happy with what they were telling us we can leave. Our isuue was that if we were putting down a deposit, it should bring down the monthly installments and apparently that cannot be done
1. Is that the way staff are meant to talk to customers trying to make a purchase for the first time at the store.
2. Why is it that Store managers don't want to assist clients when they have complaints about the staff.
3. It seems like theres an attitude of not caring if you lose a potential customer.
4. It is disgusting behaviour from the Female staff of Bradlows Chatsworth and we should get some sort of apology for their rude and arrogant behaviour.
We are still willing to purchase the lounge suite on lay-by however we need some sort of direction as to how the lay-by terms work with you guys.
I tust this will be dealt with the utmost respect and urgency because if not I will go to the media to do an article on the reception we got.
